I had a great time testing my Ninja Warrior skills. Many of the obstacles are the same as the TV Show, but they are scaled down in size. Even if you are fit, the obstacles are very challenging. Some I could complete, but others were very difficult. I paid for just a day pass, but there are many options for membership and multiple pass discounts. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was well maintained and clean. Spectators can enter and watch for free.

Fun gym, great training facility, clean environment, very well put together. I go for the OCR Camp on Saturdays at 8am, it's an awesome workout with a great coach and is definitely tailored for people of all fitness levels.

I participated in a private event at Urban Warrior and had a great time! Obstacle course training is not my current focus, but if it was, this would be the place to do it! The staff was knowledgeable and encouraging, and they adapted their approach to each obstacle relative to each person's fitness level in an appropriate manner. It was as fun as it was challenging. Be prepared to work up a sweat while letting out your inner child.

My spouse and I had so much fun! All the coaches were super helpful, friendly, and encouraging. For our first visit, they took us through a warm up and then walked us through the different obstacles. We told them we were getting ready for a Spartan race, so they taught us how to rope climb. Great visit, great staff. Can't wait to go back!

I came in today for the lunch Strength & Conditioning class. Kris and Jonah are so helpful! I am not a fit person and haven't been to a gym in years. Jonah helped me to find a pace that worked best for me and was an excellent motivator. I'll definitely be back every week (and hopefully more often!).

A fantastic fitness experience. Had a great time here competing with my friend (and myself) getting through the obstacles. Do not realize how hard you are working, because you are having a great time and always have a challenge in front of you that can (eventually) be conquered. My muscles made me aware the next day :)

Great first experience here at Urban Warrior. Staff walked my daughter through all the stages at her pace, and then set her free to enjoy. She had a blast! The owner introduced himself, and was a great encouragement every time he walked through. I would highly recommend Urban Warrior, and we look forward to coming back again!

I will never deal with this place again. The owner is a joke and cant handle the truth. He flexes his muscles like his the man. We were told were not being auto billed and charged the next 2 months. Once we noticed we called just to cancel services and he yelled at my wife over the phone. We didn't even ask for reimbursement just wanted to cancel service. And will not talk to me and threatens police involvement for just trying to make sure auto bill is been disconnected. This is a joke of a business! Worst customer service ever seen from an owner

I have been coming here every Tuesday for the last two months. At 30 it’s one of the most fun things I have ever done in my life. Not only have I gotten stronger but I can feel myself becoming more confident in my ability to move and try new things. The owners kris and Jonah are the best! They constantly walking around giving pointer, showing you how it’s done and changing up the course so you get to try new things and push yourself. I can’t wait to set a time and challenge my friends for king of the obstacle course.

Great Place to bring my kids. Whenever we ask them what they want to do they always say lets go to Urban Warrior. Both owners are very engaged and passionate about the business. They took there time with my kids by asking questions, observing and then properly guiding. Highly recommend going at least once.

This place has the worst customer service. One of the partners Kris, came into the gym flexing on everyone going as far as calling people names and making them feel worthless. There were a bunch of little kids running around playing tag and laser tag, while people attempted to do the obstacle course and instead of controlling the situation the partners seemed to be having a disagreement in front of everyone. If I’m going to pay money to take my child somewhere active I want it to be a positive experience and that was not possible with kris walking in like mister high and mighty. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Was passing through Portland on vacation and couldn't resist swinging (pun intended) by Urban Warrior. The staff and facilities here were outstanding. The owner, along with one of his employees, were very helpful and positive in their coaching. They also offer much more than just obstacles, they have a workout area in the back of their facility with some pretty innovative stuff. If I lived in the Portland area, I would definitely get a membership here, thank you!

Found this place on a random Google search for things to do in Portland ... My 6 year old and 11 year old had a blast.. loved the fact they warm you up and walk you through the obstacles... And much more ... I will be telling our home school group about this place .....the only down side I see they don't have a location in Vancouver .. but hey what's 30 min drive for fun worth?

Love this place! My kids have memberships and we come 3-4 times a week. They are always finding new ways to challenge themselves, they never get tired of coming. Jonah & Kris, the owners, are super helpful and knowledgeable, they teach and encourage my kids to keep learning new things on the course. So glad this place opened up on our side of town!!

The trainers provided a ton of helpful tips while walking us through each phase of the course. Overall, the course was very well put together and was far more challenging than I expected. The group of four guys that I went with were all really happy that we tried this out while we were in town. Would definitely do again.

Urban warrior fit is the premier place to train for obstacle course racing, ninja warrior, and much more. They have a very friendly staff that are extremely knowledgeable about the industry their in. The facility is very clean, safe, and always well updated. Go once and you’ll definitely be hooked!

Found this facility on our trip to Portland. We spent an hour and a half learning the 3 different courses with the instructor who was very patient and supportive to push us through each obstacle. Most if not all the structures and obstacles are to scale with the show; American Ninja warrior. We had a great time and I would get a membership if I didn't live so far away! Looking forward to visiting again in the future.

A fun way to get a workout. Course is always changing and always challenging. Membership is reasonable. Popular for events, birthday parties, etc. so it's good to call ahead, especially on weekends.

I’m visiting Portland with a friend and we dropped in for a little over an hour. It felt like a personal training session. Jonah, one of the owners, coached us through the whole course. There were 5 other adults training while we were there. The course was challenging, but scalable to your ability, and turned out to be a fun, great workout. Highly recommended!

Fun to try for sure! I can't do a pull-up so there are a few challenges that would be essentially impossible for me, but there was a lot more than that to do. I felt safe from injury with all of the padding here and safety instructions given. Staff was helpful and welcoming of any level. Would recommend. Especially fun with friends or as a group activity.

Urban Warrior is great - my 7 year old loves coming here. The coaches are awesome at helping her learn how to get through the obstacles. The change the obstacles up regularly as well, so there is always something new!

We love this place. The Staff is super friendly and helpful. Owners are great and so knowledgable and patient. I love how they interact with my kiddos-they are encouraging, but still push them to do better. My kiddos are always so excited about their daily "wins" on the course and these guys always celebrate their victories with them.

Charged me for a month I didn’t even visit urban warrior. Would not refund my 48 dollars!! Just bought a house 2 blocks away and will tell everyone I meet in the new neighborhood what happened to me at urban warrior And that is from the owner. Customer service is his specialty!!!

A lovely time for my mom, sister, and me; lovely facility and instructors. Berkley, our instructor, helpfully walked through all the obstacles with us. She gave the occasional tip, but mostly let us figure out the techniques, which is half the fun of conquering an obstacle! She was very patient and we never felt pressured to do anything beyond our physical ability. After our walk through Jonah and Berkley were still available if we had further questions. Fun challenge, we got our money's worth, and sore muscles as a souvenir the next day! 100% recommend.

It’s a shame that I am rating this place 1 star because it is a great concept and location. Unfortunately the owner of this business is a head headed aggressive person. He lost his temper multiple times with the teenage boys in the gym and he crossed the line to irrational and disrespectful very quickly. At first I stayed quite because the message he was trying to get across about safety and responsibility with the boys was great. He then a few minutes later came at me because he felt like I had something to say as a parent even though my body language had not changed and I was sitting quietly watching the kids. He very quickly escalated into my face disrespecting me in front of the child yelling irrationally and abruptly told the kids they were done and we were to leave his business. I am in the gym very often with my children and have NEVER experienced anything like this. These same children are parkour members as well as one of them is a competitive gymnast. This is not new to our family unfortunately the environment here is very tense and not somewhere we will be returning as long as this owner is in charge. I also do not recommend this place to anyone due to the owners irrational and disrespectful behavior. I seriously have never felt this disrespected anywhere. I was uncomfortable and feared my children’s and my own safely how quickly he escalated and yelled in my face!! I completely understand and agree that safety is the #1 in any gym... There is a way to handle situations and a way not too and this gentleman was very much amped up, on edge and disrespectful. You do not get into people face and make them feel the way I did when leaving this business. It’s just a matter of time before he hurts someone. I felt invaded, threatened, and intimidated by the way the situation was handled. Unfortunately the other business partner was standing right there the entire time and did nothing and said nothing. You can completely tell this was not a first offense for him and it want be a last.

Urban Warrior is amazing! I'm 35 but I felt like a kid playing in a jungle gym. Chris, one of the owners, gave us an intro class that I found really useful to stay safe and have the most fun possible. In my class, there was a dad with two girls under 10 years old, and all of us had a blast. There are obstacles for all the different skill levels, so you'll have a great time whether you're training for American Ninja Warrior or haven't worked out in a while. I strongly recommend Urban Warrior to anyone who's looking to do something different, by themselves, with friends or with family.

So great! Was able to walk in and immediately get on the course with descriptions/walk through/advice for each obstacle. It's definitely challenging and I couldn't complete all the obstacles but they don't pressure you. They have many obstacles that I've seen on American Ninja Warrior and it was so fun to try them out. A very safe, clean, and impressive facility. Wish I was a local -- would absolutely get a membership.

Took 4 of our kids there today ranging in age from 6-16. Great staff, great initial training and warm up, they worked with the kids the whole time. All the kids were off and had a blast! They have obsticales for all ages, and I think next time I will have to get out there and join them instead of watching from the sidelines.. we will be back again.

I brought an 8 year old to a birthday party here yesterday and he had a blast. I only saw the very beginning and very end of the party, but while I was there staff was engaged with the kids and keeping a close eye on their safety. I talked to one of the trainers who was extremely friendly and welcoming, and am considering starting training there myself.

Cool place, HORRIBLE supervision. We just attended a 90 minute 9 year old boys birthday party. The two employees ran the kids through the course once; no directions, encouragement, or interaction really, just told the kids where to go next. Then spent the next 45 minutes at the counter where the cash register is, often on their phones, or just talking to eachother. At one point 2 boys got in a pushing match, when I asked the employees if they were supervising, they said they just stepped out for a minute. Then my son got cut on the equipment, he went and asked for a bandaid and was told "It's just a scratch, you dont need one." After that 2 more kids got hurt and were in tears, the employees NEVER approached them, or offered help. I'm glad I didn't leave my son at this party alone! The poor mom hosting the party spent the whole time trying to direct the kids while the employees stood behind the counter talking. The concept and equipment here is cool, but DO NOT leave your children with these people!!!

Had a ton of fun on our first visit! There were all sorts of obstacles packed in, with a variety of difficulty. My wife and I were both able to keep ourselves challenged. The warped wall was a highlight for me, since I've been wanting to try it after first watching American Ninja Warrior.

Had a really fun time here with my wife and daughter. The owner was very nice and walked us through the courses. It's definitely a great work out, but your having such a good time that you kinda don't realize your getting in a good workout. If you want to get the kids out of the house and have a good time I suggest you go here.

A fun challenge and a cool space! This place is clean and feels new - it doesn’t have that weird smell most gyms do. Wade showed me around and he was supremely helpful and friendly. He made this experience 5 star worthy! They have a full-size warped wall and 3 phases of obstacle courses of varying difficulty. Prepare to have your grip strength challenged! I recommend coming in the evening if you’re an adult. Children sometimes run around the mats and aren’t especially careful about if there are people working above them.
