You have all the opinions of real people like you who are consuming the products of Crunch Fitness - Mason (Gym) in the area close to Ohio.
Right now this business gets a score of 4.0 over 5 and that rating has been based on 97 reviews.
You may have noticed that it has an average rating is quite positive, and it's based on a high number of feddbacks, so we can think that the evaluation is quite accurate. If there are many people who bothered to value when they are pleased with the service, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to place evaluations when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Gym corresponds to the category of Fitness center.
Very clean. Friendly staff.
The team members are incredibly helpful and helped me fix a membership issue. Sanjay, at the Mason and Kenwood location, is always greeting people and asking how they are. He is open to conversations rather than just letting people walk by and that is great customer service! Best gym ever.
Super overcrowded with the "new year new me" people. Place is overflowing after work hours. Gym area where the classes are held is always blaring music. WHY? There are garage door gates, put them down, or turn down the volume? Great price tho!
It's better than planetfitnes at being a gym and still has an 'everyone's welcome' feel to it.
Great gym for $10/mo. Plenty of machines and free weights.
Nice place
Very clean gym and the staff are helpful and friendly. Love how the equipment is laid out.
Awesome Personal Trainers!
Nice equipped gym
Very crowded when I went a lot of people sitting on machines and using their phones for 20+ min at a time.
its a good gym but i don't like new manager she is so rude and arrogant she don't deserve be to a manager one off my friend is already left the gym and switched to la fitness .
Open 24hrs and great lighting for mirror selfies!
Terrible customer service. I have been trying to get a situation resolved since I signed up on November 15th, the representative told me the manager would call me immediately!! It is now 30 days later and Todd is still giving me a go around. BEWARE!!! No one can help if you need any customer service.
PF does it better
I lost a pair of 300 dollar headphones and an employee informed me that it was turned into the lost and found and weren't there anymore. He said the only people with access to the lost and found were employees. Talked to the manager and he said I was accusing his employees of stealing, said they were never in the lost and found, how was I for sure they were my headphones it could've been anyone else's. Keep in mind an employee told me he had them on and they were in the lost and found. Love Crunch as a gym but will not be going back to this location, would not recommend. Can't trust the management or employees. Can’t get into contact with corporate as well. This is not a professional gym, never had any problems at other gyms. Usually gyms go out of their way for members but not this one.
Very clean and people are nice! Kevin is a helpful trainer.
I would give a 0 if I could. They are no help and I have been lied to on multiple occasions. Cannot cancel anytime I have been trying for over a month and nothing has been done and I keep getting thrown around yet they keep taking money out more than what’s suppose to might I add!!!!! . This place is a joke compared to the other gyms I’ve been to . Don’t recommend!
AWESOME facility. Staff is very friendly and the gym is super clean. Prices are fantastic and the amenities are even better!
Best Gym I've ever been in, even better than LA fitness, and has the best reasonable monthly membership: Base $10 and Peak $20
Crunch is a great inexpensive gym. They basically have two types of membership; a single club no frills tier, and then a more feature filled level at twice the price. The higher level includes access to other facilities, tanning, hydro massage, and the normal classes. The facility is very clean and the equipment has always been in working order. The staff is friendly and happy to answer any questions people may have. The gym can get busy, but never to the point where it interferes with finishing your workout.
best gym I've been to great staff super helpful and friendly great atmosphere and the equipment is top notch!
I like this gym. It does get a little crowded during peak times.
They have amazing staff especially the trainers to get back in shape or tone out what you have! Plenty of equipment to work every muscle you have! Everything is very clean, the staff is helpful and friendly. And if you need to relax they have a hydro bed and tanning bed and kids center. Highly recommend the peak package! And plenty of parking with security always driving bye.
Facility and equipment is nice, but it's too cramped. Not enough squat racks, and not enough benches. Needs more space for the weight area.
Great place to work out. Nice staff.
Gym is nice and clean. Things were not clear during signup though. The promotion wsa $1 sign up and $10 per month. A day later I had a charge for $39.99 for an annual fee. I should have read the contract more carefully but honestly I thought it was somewhat shady. Also with the base membership you can only work out at the gym you signed up at nowhere else period.
Great place to workout!
Great gym, friendly staff, and never crowded.
There used to be two good bars to lift with, one broke and they said they’d replace it and never did. Also, gym floor is dusty and the turf needs cleaning badly. Otherwise an affordable gym with a good atmosphere Update: never replaced the bar, and staff publicly admitted today that they didn’t hire me here as a personal trainer because I complained despite being well qualified. Lol this place is a joke, go to kenwood or oakley
Wonderful facility. Classes are a lot of fun yet challenging. There are enough machines where you do not have to wait very long! Staff, however, could be a bit more helpful.
Nice gym for the price.
Good gym with all of the equipment you could want for a great price. For how many people that are sometimes there, it feels pretty small.
Finally found an affordable gym with a fantastic staff in the daycare! We have tried 3 local gyms and each one had horrible childcare. Ive had no issues with my 2 & 4 yo here! They are the best!
Good people
Alright place. Good place to workout, assuming it's not during their busy hours. It's almost impossible to use anything after typical work hours because its packed. Staff seems friendly, usually clean.
Great place to workout. Most Everyone is friendly and helpful. Trying to convince The management to buy a front squat bar.
Its a very good place to workout.. Especially zumba
After moving away, Crunch Fitness would not allow me to cancel my subscription over the phone. After months of getting billed, I had made it back to cancel in person upon request. I was no able to receive a refund for months billed and had to pay the cancellation fee. Thanks for the experience, one of a kind.
I canceled my old account over a year ago and have since opened a new one with the kenwood location. When I went back here a few weeks ago as a guest apparently my account wasn't canceled properly and I have to pay 100 dollars to work out there (which obviously is ridiculous). Kenwood thought maybe the cancellation wasn't processed correctly but Mason wont do anything until I pay the money they think I owe. ...... Luckily Kenwood was able to resolve this issue for me. Thankful for the staff there
The management here is very unprofessional. The GM treats members and staff poorly. The GM is incredibly rude, condescending and lacks the necessary relationship and empathy skills to provide a quality member experience. Members and staff alike continue to leave this location due to poor management. The gym is incredibly overcrowded and the equipment is often out of order, which again falls back on lack of management involvement. Members have requested new bars (as half of them are bent) and all requests have been ignored by management. All staff (aside from management) are incredibly nice and easy to work with. I enjoy coming here to see other members. Myself along with many others (members and staff) will be leaving this location at the end of the year. Finally, I’d like to complete my review with a call to action by Crunch ownership to investigate the following issues: Astronomically high employee turnover rates - since joining crunch fitness I have seen countless faces come and go. From managers, to trainers to every day employees it has come to my attention that there is an obvious problem with high turnover rates. A gym is not just a place people go to workout and go home, it’s a place people use to escape long days at work, release stress and to most importantly cultivate meaningful relationships with staff and other members. However, at crunch it seems to be nearly impossible to do so due to employees being “fired” or quitting. Nearly every day I come in I find out someone new has started or someone has quit. While I understand that in this type of environment turnover rates will statistically be higher than in other industries, I find it incredibly hard to believe that they could be this high. I’d like to challenge crunch ownership to do a comparative analysis of other crunch locations and their turnover rates, and in turn contrast those turnover rates seen at the crunch Mason location. Secondly, I’d like to challenge crunch ownership to again conduct a comparative analysis of the attrition rates of crunch members. Again, I understand that attrition rates in low cost gyms is statistically higher than at other gyms, but I find it very difficult to believe they should be this high. I’d be curious to know how the mason membership attrition rates compare to those of other crunch locations. I write all of this to encourage ownership to be a catalyst for change and continued improvement. There are glaring issues at this location that should not be ignored or swept under the rug any longer. It starts with ownership to be made aware of these issues and to take action to resolve them.
Very poor management. The GM treats customers very rude and doesn’t appreciate customer ‘s needs at all. Does fake smiles all the time and loses patience for no reason. I would recommend avoid contacting him for any needs. Rest of the staff is so friendly though.
Great equipment, great price and awesome staff. The kids room is a must for me.
Good value
Worst gym ever worst management ever I have a disability parked in handicap parking and they called the sheriff on me to verify that it was legit been going there for almost a month but because I don’t roll in a wheelchair or crutches I guess I didn’t pass to have a disability I brought my kids in to there daycare to be watched by a 70 year old women who puts them in time out and makes the kids clean up after other kids messes and when you address the problem management will not even call u back or talk about it worst management ever very very rude
Staff is friendly but after 5 pm certain classes limit effective use of gym space. The whole stretching area was blocked off from 6 to 6:45 for a class of 10 or fewer while simultaneously the TRX/studio room had very loud music playing for a class of 8 or fewer members. Some trainers blast speakers by the treadmills, again for only a few members while anyone nearby has to listen to their very loud choice of music. Little consideration of members using gym outside of a class setting and without earbuds to shut off the noise. Training with blinders on, not recommended.
As an out of towner looking for a gym to use for a week this was a fantastic choice. As opposed to usually spending more than 2x the monthly dues of my home gym for a week, this one is very fairly priced at $12 for the week or $6 a day. The facilities are clean, equipment is new, and staff is very friendly and helpful. Thanks for providing a guest with a good gym experience.
Great work out place
Great place lots of equipment
Over Hyped gym - PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE They say they have a dedicated space for stretching and almost that space is occupied by trainers for their classes. Where will other people do? I generally go between 6-7 pm and each day its same thing. Also no one knows exact rules and guidelines of their gym rules. It seems they charge for every small change we make to gym membership - I have been charged unnecessarily and they don't make any attempt to explain it or return the money - BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE
Best gym I've ever been a member of. Great atmosphere, friendly staff.
As far as some place to work out goes, it's okay. Multiple machines so you're not waiting, or at least it's not long to wait. Good classes. Zumba was fun. Staff is a bit lack-luster: Put on the charm when signing someone up for a new membership, but then can't find anyone to help with machines. Too busy either taking a break or showing new members around. They say they'll get back to you but then don't, or ask another employee to help. The other employee ends up acting as if you're interrupting THEIR time. I'm sorry, princess, did I take you away from your doing nothing?
Great gym
Good, motivating environment!
The staff is friendly and the facilities are great. Good equipment and the locker room is nice. My wife likes the fitness classes. Definitely the best value gym.
Great gym! One of my favorite I have ever been to and I’ve been to a lot. Equipment is new and well kept, it’s bright and open, and the staff is great. I would recommend it to anyone in the area. Did I mention it’s only $10/mo?! #nobrainer
