So this was a great gym, but unfortunately there is very poor customer service by the owner. The day to day employees were always very helpful. So you sign a year contract and about 6 months later you move away from the area. So I obviously understand the contract is for a year but because I’m moving and not in the area often I go ahead and sign the cancellation documents so I am out of the contract at the 1 year mark. Being a responsible person when the year is a few weeks from up I go back to the gym and confirm my cancellation is in place. Then I continue to get drafted for payment the following month. This draft is because apparently you are drafted an extra 30 days after cancellation?? Well the cancellation form signed was in May 2017, supposed to cancel in January 2018-12 month contract right. Yet I’m drafted again in February 2018. No refund, no customer service, just a comment that when I signed the cancellation and dated it in May 2017 it wasn’t my intention to cancel....why would I sign it then. LOL. Out of the hundred or so times I visited the gym I never once saw the owner. I called 4 times over the past month or so and only the last time was my call returned... he couldn’t talk when I called because he was too busy working out!! Incredible!! I never missed a payment or anything, I promoted his new business in the community to friends and at the end of the day, he didn’t care. It’s not about the money it’s about customer service and asking yourself why would someone cancel a membership 7 months before the end of the contract by signing and dating form. According to the owner it’s because I had intention on canceling. SMH
