Been a member for almost 2 years and couldn't be more happy. It is a family run gym and the staff is awesome. I use the facility at least 4 times a week and it is always clean and maintained. The machines are pretty new and I honestly don't remember the last time one was out of service. The free weights are arranged nicely and in a way that makes them easy to access and use. Jeff is currently adding on to make room for crossfit style workouts and equipment. They have classes almost everyday although personally I haven't tried one. The members seem to be all age ranges and they do have child care. Overall I couldn't be more happy with the facility. On your way out check out the homemade protein shakes as they are a hidden gem!

Be cautious. This is the right gym for some people but not everyone. After months of attending this gym I was no longer comfortable with the treatment from the other women at this gym. Some even openly criticizing me. These are other customers so that is not actually the owners fault, but keep this in mind if you are a woman. My husband never felt this way with the other men. The child watch area isn't really what I would call that. Every time I brought my daughter along there wasn't anyone in the child watch area to watch her (yes it was during their child watch hours). They said she could sit at the counter but with a child under 5 you can't really expect them to sit at a counter for an hour while their parent exercises. When we inquired after quitting we were informed we had signed a 1.5 year contract. My eyes practically popped out of my head. The owner never said a word about the contract when he was going over everything with us. He didn't once advise us that there was a contract. I've belonged to 3 gyms in my life and never had a contract. We asked if we could pay a contract break fee. Nope. They don't have one. We explained our situation and what happened to me. Nope. They won't work me. We will be paying for this gym for another year. So make certain this gym is really for you. Are you already fit? Or are you new to exercise? This gym is definitely for people who have been working out for awhile. If you are a woman many of the women here are catty and may make you feel uncomfortable. Overall I couldn't be more disappointed. Considering our experience they should at least offer us a contract break fee, which we would happily pay. They also should be more honest about that contract.

Best gym I’ve ever belonged to! I love the group fitness classes-Zumba, Barre and stretch are my favorites. I also love the virtual fitness room and the updates machines. Members and instructors are supportive and fun. Love being a part of this gym!

Don't sign a contract with this gym. Save the hassle go to LKN. One they're a bigger gym, all around its a better environment, newer equipment, and classes are included in the membership, not to mention they're much more understanding. the first time I visit Denver health I'm asked by the owner/manager why I come to the gym and who told me I need to Come here, as if I care what anyone thinks. When I signed up for this place, I was told it was for a year, nope when I called to cancel it was for a year and a half. Right around the year mark I had a career change and my mom was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. I have been flying between CA and NC for the past few months helping her. Needless to say the budget is tight. I asked them if there was anything I could do to cancel or FREEZE my account they told me no, I had to permanently move before they could cancel or do anything for me. Up until a couple days ago, I spoke with a women (sense I'm now behind on my payments) explained my situation again then asked again if there was anything I could do, she said well we can FREEZE the account but not until you pay some of what you owe...that's right boys and girls after telling me they couldn't do anything actually they could have when I told them the 1st time 2nd time 3rd time I can't afford it is there anything I can do. she then told me she understood what I'm going threw and her mom had cancer too, but i need to pay what I owe before they can freeze it well evidently you don't understand otherwise I would have been offered sooner to have my account froze. I wasn't late on my payments until this unplanned event happened in my life. I'm extremely responsible and I wish I wasn't in this situation believe me. The best advice I can give is you dont know what your life holds, dont sign a contract with them if your new to the area, go to LKN. Everyone is amazing, and super helpful, they truly care about you.

Very good place to work out. Great equipment. Fabulous classes. Nice and knowledgeable instructors. Great childcare as well. I highly recommend Denver health and fitness if you are looking for a gym in the Denver area. Try them out you won’t be sorry

El gimnasio después de la renovación ha quedado increíble, mucho más grande y podría decir que en instalación es el mejor. La atención al cliente es buena y el staff es amigable. Las instalaciones siempre están limpias El área de niños mucho mejor, ha habido cuidadoras muy buenas pero las adolescentes no me gustan cuando en lugar de cuidar a los niños están en el celular. Cómo mexicana (latina) en general nunca me he sentido incómoda El precio que yo pago es cómodo porque tengo el contrato anterior de hace muchos años. Ojo este gimnasio te obliga a firmar un contrato y si deseas quitarlo deberás acudir con una firma de abogados que te van a tratar de intimidar .

Amazing gym! Completely remodeled with all new equipment and very clean!! The group exercise classes are my favorite with almost 50 classes a week to choose from. If the class times are not good for you, they also offer virtual classes at anytime, 24/7, including in the Cycle room. The staff is super friendly and very supportive! I would highly recommend Denver Health & Fitness.

The facilities are nice, and so are the staff. When I signed up here I was given the option of a 1 or 2 year membership and then I would be month to month, needing only to tell them to discontinue. I chose the option of a 1 year membership. About a year and a couple months later I moved to where there was a closer gym. I called to cancel, and the customer service team told me I would have a large fee to cancel. To my dismay the contract was marked with a 2 year agreement. I was upset, but I paid the bill for another year. Today I called to cancel again and I've been told I have to send them certified mail or complete it online, and I need to give them 30 days notice during which I'll be required to pay my bill. Avoid the club, go elsewhere.

Lots to offer for exercise and fitness. The membership gets you into a great experience from classes to equipment as well as help from employees that are there during most day hours. There is even child care offered in a brand new room in the building that got completed recently. The future is bright here.

Great gym. Even at the busiest times there is enough equipment to get your workout in. I haven't been to any many classes that are offered, but they are always well attended. Excited for the new building to open. Friendly staff and owner!

I've been attending this gym for several years, it is easily the best gym in the area, especially since the renovations were completed. They have a much better variety of free weights than any of the other gyms close by, more than enough machines to workout any part of your body, and a big cardio area. The employees are very friendly and the facility is always clean. If you actually intend workout then this is the gym for you.

I didn't want to write this as I am a positive person but I feel like I have no choice. Please be careful on signing a contract with this Gym. They outsource their credit card running to another company and it is impossible to try and get help when they have a call center managing the process. We called in January to cancel and the person did not give us the name of the financial company. They said it would take 60 days and we were fine with that as we moved out of state 6 hours away. Again the following month we were charged. Again, we reached out and talked to the front desk. They said they couldn't help us and that we had to go through their financing company to prove our moving. We did accordingly and AGAIN they charged our card again. We spend several thousand on this gym and it has been extremely challenging. As a leadership and executive coach there really needs to be team training completed on the front end. Not once, did a person at the gym offer to do a 3 way call to help secure the cancellation. Not once did they offer a credit or go the extra mile that we were taken care of. In the 21 laws of Leadership it talks about the law of addition which is giving value to people. They are more concerned with their monthly than you and it shows because of the 3 times I have had to experience this situation. Please make sure you understand and sign with caution because they will ask you "how long do you see your goal being needed to take to achieve it?" When doing this they will write the contract based on that with NO chance of canceling. I can't even get my training sessions refunded although I am under DOCTORS CARE with SIGNED DOCUMENTATION. If you want training sign up for a small amount first before committing to many sessions. I sincerely hope that they look at the alignment of their client care and become mindful in serving others with a servant leadership. Once they do, their business will not have to be run with loopholes that hurt their once fans.

Wow what a waste. Everyone was very friendly until I signed the contract. and when you try to cancel you have to pay yet another month of wasted money. Never again. Also look they currently have a 3.3 review but only 4 people gave it a good review. Most are 1 star

As a gym there is very little to complain about, as a business it needs much improvement especially when it comes to customer service. As others have stated be very careful about signing on to a contract they outsource most of the business end of the house so it is very un-personable, and full of cost and fee’s that do not make sense, as many reviewers have already mentioned . My experience is that I had to cancel my membership since we are moving, but since they outsource the membership program I had to call a third party to cancel. Well for some reason it takes 30 days to cancel a gym membership, and the representative could not tell me why it would take so long but that time frame was set by the gym. So obviously they just want one more months dues out of you before you leave. It really is a shame that the great community of Denver has its name associated with a place that treats people like this.

WOW ITS RUSS

Decided to give this gym a try due to the 24/7 operation and the amount of equipment. The equipment is fairly new and lots of them. Lots of space to handle a lot of people if needed. The staff seem friendly so far, and along with the gym members. Seems like most of the older people dont put the equipment back up after usage from what I've seen. The price is a little expensive for my taste but you do get a lot for it and the area is nice keeping the gym classy, friendly, and safe. They have over 60 cameras giving the ability for security. The parking lot is big enough for busy days. Overall I would recommend this gym to people who have crazy scheduled hours, get promotional deals due to the contracts and expensive membership. The more people you have to join with you the cheaper the rates. They also have a phone app you can use to sign in, get points towards stuff such as a t shirt or a smoothie, etc... I've talked to the owner he seems like a legit person who is friendly but also a business man who works a lot. He seemed friendly about contracts if you move far or something really bad happens that concerns the use of contracts. However, I'm not fully sure on how they honor it yet until the time arrives.
