Super nice gym. Friendly people/owner. I’m visiting from out of town and needed a gym to workout at so I stopped by here. They were accommodating and extremely friendly.

I have spent a number of years on the outside looking in when it comes to CrossFit. I’ve worked out most of my life on my own and gotten by fairly well. The majority of my workouts consisted of standard movements while recently I started to incorporate more Olympic movements and CrossFit type movements. This was scary for me. Previous injuries (herniated discs in my back and a broken neck) crippled my confidence in what I thought I could do. I knew in order to reach my goals of better fitness, I needed to make a change. Not to mention working out alone made it a little too easy to give up on lifts or skip a workout. So in December of 2016 during Christmas break, I decided to give Climate a try. It took one class to realize “I can do this”. And I haven’t looked back since. The workouts alone are awesome, but it’s the accountability, the coaches, the community that keeps me coming back. There is a diverse group of people in every class at every fitness level who encourage each other during every workout, pushing you to pursue your best. I have attempted movements that I never thought I could do. I could certainly do the workouts alone, but having a group of likeminded people pushing me each day to be my best has pushed my fitness in 2 ½ months far beyond what I would have accomplished on my own.

Great programming with experienced staff and friendly community! I was in Omaha for work and dropped in to the 5am class. They use Wodify and I had no issues dropping in by just contacting the gym the day before. The coach was great and the other members of the gym made me feel like a regular member, not just a drop-in. I had a great workout and would highly recommend Climate Crossfit for locals or visitors.

I bought my new muscles from Climate Crossfit a few months ago. They arrived in pieces; some assembly was required and lots of heavy lifting but overall I am very satisfied with my new muscles.........the coaches aren't half bad looking either. ; )

Super accommodating staff with a great facility. Lots of space and plenty of open gym hours for those dropping in from out of town to work on their own programming. Very kid-friendly as our 12 and 7 year olds joined us. I highly recommend Climate CrossFit.

I’ve been a member at Climate Crossfit since they opened their doors over two years ago. Actually, Climate is the gym that introduced me to Crossfit. Exercise certainly isn’t new to me but Crossfit totally was. Like many new experiences, I didn’t know what to expect, I was a little nervous about how I’d do, and was somewhat intimated by working out in a group setting (especially since I was new to many of the movements). I had faint memories of weight lifting class periods in school that were unstructured and unsupervised and those were never of interest to me. I was pleasantly surprised by the comfortable atmosphere. (Note: I did know a few people when I joined so I wasn’t a total stranger). Climate enrolled me in their onboarding program where I spent six, private, one hour sessions learning and reviewing the Crossfit movements (deadlift, cleans, snatches, kettlebell swings, jump roping, etc). After those six sessions I was able to attend the regular classes and participate in the group workouts. Even after two years, there are movements I have not mastered and the coaches are great about continuing to teach. As we’ve gotten to know one another, they’ve learned my tendencies (and weakness) and are able to give me targeted feedback during lifts. There have been times that my form has deteriorated as I’ve tired and the coaches have stopped me mid-workout to correct me. It makes me feel good that my safety is on their mind, even when it’s not necessarily on mine. As I’ve been a participant in Crossfit, I’ve been able to visit other gyms and see how other places do things. After visiting other gyms, I’m always reminded that Climate is a pretty special place. I’ve entered new gyms as a stranger and left after a workout feeling the same way. I’ve learned that not every gym is as welcoming and inviting as Climate. We have a lot of visitors (especially with the free classes on Saturdays) and I’ve observed multiple members be sure to meet the unfamiliar faces. The coaches are consistent with formal introductions at the beginning of class so, at minimum, everyone knows the names of everyone else. It makes me wish that other gyms did it the way Climate does as it would make the experience at a foreign gym more enjoyable. But no other gym has the community that Climate does. The other thing that Climate does very well is understand its identity and build on it. It seems that every gym has its own unique reputation. Whereas some gyms measure their success by the number of competitions their members win, I think Climate’s success can be measured by the number of members that are active, frequent participants in workouts. When I’ve travelled and talked with other gym owners and asked about their membership numbers, often times they have fewer regular members even though they’ve been in business longer than Climate has. In just a short time Climate has carved out a reputation for being a safe, welcoming, community-minded place to work out. With the free Saturday morning workouts, community members are welcome to come try out Crossfit for the first time. (The workouts are generally free of complicated movements. It’s often a variety of running, pushups, sit ups, pull ups, box jumps, etc.) I know some gyms will offer this one weekend a month but Climate does it every single week. Lastly, Climate demonstrates a commitment to helping the community. Multiple times throughout the year, fundraiser are held or supplies are collected for an organization (diaper drive, school supplies for disaster relief efforts, etc). I think Climate has been able to grow at the pace they have because they’ve focused more on improving their members health and well-being than they have on increasing their membership numbers. But when a gym operates the way Climate does, consistent growth is natural. I’m glad to be a part of place like Climate Crossfit. Thanks coaches and owners for making Climate such a great place to work out.

Seven weeks ago, I walked into Climate CrossFit to meet with Mark about their 6-week Challenge, and I haven’t looked back. From the very beginning, I was welcomed into a community of people that were passionate about what they do and supportive of each other and their successes. I was not in the best shape, but the coaches worked with me and made sure that I was pushing myself to get better, always mindful of what my body was capable of. They adjusted workouts as needed so that I was getting all the benefits, but with exercises that were accessible based on my abilities. After a short 6 weeks, I am so proud of myself and my results! Not only did I win the challenge by losing 9% body fat, I have had so many other small victories: I went down one full size in my clothes, I lost 10 inches around my entire body, and I swapped 20 lbs. of fat for 20 lbs. of muscle. I cannot recommend Climate CrossFit enough, and I cannot wait to continue my journey with this amazing community of people!

The staff here is in the sweet spot between knowledgeable and friendly. It's a great atmosphere of people ranging from "getting into shape" to "lifting competitively." And everybody at every level is able to push themselves and each other... which can be tricky at other places. Has made for a great summer, i would strongly recommend.

Dropped in at Climate with a buddy so we could do 18.4. The environment was so welcoming. I love the general spirit of comrade that accompanies CrossFit, but I believe Climate distinguishes themselves in making even a drop-in like me feel like I am a valued member! Thank you for all your hard work!

Did the 6 week challenge and lost 17lbs and nearly 6% body fat! The coaches and gym members are so kind and supportive and push you to be the best you can be. They focus on not only the physical aspect but also the diet. If you are looking for somewhere to start I strongly recommend Climate Crossfit! Photos on top are before and bottom is after
