It's also good for people who just want to unwind, exercise and get in shape. Taking steps to improve our health isn't a waste of time, it's an essential part of our life. The summit has everything I need and offers so much more for people with disabilities and such. Get a steam room and a sauna and all the equipment that you could possibly want to use Plus classes and professional help if you need that. A good place to go but they can get real busy.

first of all this Gym has everything anyone would need and for the most part it's a very fair gym. The Staff is good, some that are exceptional and others that are well below a level you would expect based on the price we pay at this facility. I can list numerous incidents that make me wonder why I am still a member but the bottom line is, there really is no other options for Kali residents. The Hot Tub and Steam always seem to be under repair or maintenance of some sort and the latest repair has been well over a week since the Hot Tub was taped off with yellow crime scene tape. We live in an era where parts can be overnighted almost anywhere in the World, yet this facility seems to find the boat and train service to ship their needed parts. The average age of their Staff is well over 50 and very few of the staff look like they enjoy working. I recently gave one of their Senior Staff .50 cents for a bottle of Kirkland water, .25 of which was a Canadian Quarter and the lady told me that they do not accept Canadian Currency. Really!!! If you are looking for a local gym, please keep your eyes wide open when they give you the pitch is all I'm saying.

I love how much this gym has to offer. Aside from the typical weights and machines, they have a huge gym for basketball, volleyball and soccer; racquetball; tennis; swimming in a lap pool or therapy pool with an amazing hot tub; a huge selection of classes; excellent staff members; and fantastic wellness programs just to name a few!

The instructor Pam Klein was well prepared, made both hands-on and instructor-led training course fun and meaningful, and provided all attendees individualized attention. We recently got a membership hete for our family. It pretty much only works for older children. If your child isn't 7 you have to swim with them, even though there are life guards. No children in the hot tub. The times for open use are limited. If we want to play basketball we risk a soccer game already in progress. You pay to take many of the classes as well as certain parts of the facility even when you have a membership.

My gym. Great facility with good equipment. Staff is helpful and friendly. Has drop in daycare and a cafe and pro shop. Has multiple classes at different times all taught by certified instructors. Worth checking out for sure when shopping gyms.

Poor basketball quality, and don't play basketball when there is people playing "pickle ball" because they like to aim the balls at your feet to try and roll your ankle....people there are rude and inconsidrate, i would not buy a membership for the poor quality

I was visiting Glacier and did a drop in. Was able to do my barbell exercises here. Deadlifts, squats, bench press, overhead press and chinups. They had lockers that dont need a padlock so you could lock your stuff up without bringing your own lock. They had a chalk station with chalk in it. This gym made it real easy for me to maintain some consistency while traveling.

Played pickleball today at the Summit as a guest from Florida. Kalispell pickleball players are NOT fair to people they do not know. They kept moving my and my wife's paddles backwards so they could play with people they know. (Our paddles were strange to them.) We played one game each before our paddles were moved and then we left. I know I am doing them a favor with this posting (no visitors will play here-as they don't care for strangers); but If you are visiting do yourself a favor and play elsewhere. Bill and Karleen

teen night is a very interesting setting, if you are transgender however, there is no bathrooms you can use or locker rooms. other than that and the constant closing of the track and weight rooms it is pretty decent. I would recommend it

The summit is the best fitness center in Kalispell,MT. Front desk ladies are very nice and friendly. The place is clean and big. It pretty much has everything. I normally use the indoor track which is awesome. You don't get bored with your exercise since there are lots exercise equipments you can use. I recommend this anyone.

The Summit is probably the Premier Fitness Center in the valley although you will pay for the cost of it dearly they have extensive workout equipment machines way racquetball court and programs including yoga Zumba and other training personal trainer options to have an ice track basketball court and programs for kids if you want to join the summit but find it too expensive check into their scholarship program

The summit is the largest gym in the flathead valley, full facility from indoor track and climbing wall to Olympic size swimming pool. Lot's of equipment to workout on. Individual classes throughout the day. Gym memberships here in the valley are a bit pricey, punch card's too. So make up your mind your going, and get going! No excuses!

Don’t get me wrong; the summit is a great facility, but I feel that it has been lacking significantly. There are many different machines, free weights, and activities associated with the summit, but recently it has been focusing more on trying to get money from people. The price for a summit membership is A LOT, but when you have to pay $1 to use a towel or pay extra to get your body composition, it is just getting ridiculous. Also, the staff isn’t as friendly as it used to be. Some people act as if they don’t want to be there. With all of this, I can confidently say I’m disappointed in how the summit is moving forward.

It caters to everyone...families, elders and yes, super-jocks. Not only is the facility "fully loaded" with the best workout machines, pools, equipment, programs and studios, you have professional consultation whenever you need it. It's the 'real deal', offering the highest standard of excellence I've ever seen. I'm proud to be an active (REALLY active) member of this exceptional health club. I come with my boyfriend sometimes and use his guest passes. I wanted to love it and get a membership also but everything seems to always be broken or getting repaired. Today the pool/hotub, dry sauna and hip abductor machine were all out of order. The pool has been out of order for over a week. The weight room often feels over crowded and uncomfortable. The only thing that's super enjoyable about this place is the basketball courts and open games. Everyone on the court is usually welcoming and it's an awesome cardio to pick up a few games with some strangers. If there was another gym in Kalispell with a sauna and basketball court we wouldn't be going here. I'm pretty confident that the only reason this gym has such high ratings is because they have no competition in kalispell.

The gym itself is clean and huge with alot of room to do what you want without being bothered. A star was taken away though because of the amount of body shaming I endure while there. I get that I'm over weight but I'm going there to better myself, not be looked down on when in the changing area or showers. Have some class ladies.
