Me and my GF came here cause we heard of a free week trial, so her and I took our ids in and she was able to get it, but I got denied for the week cause I came into the gym like 4 yrs ago for 10 minutes and apparently that disqualifies me!? Thats fine many other gyms in town that treat customers better and actaully stick up to there values!

After my first visit I agree with Mr. Wilson. Great Facility, but the basketball court was difficult to use while trying to avoid the 30 children running around throwing basketballs all over the place. Overall a pretty good facility though.

Our fitness center for the last three years and still going strong! Classes are great, staff are wonderful, everything is clean and there's even a pool.

Most of their cardio machines don't work as they should. For the most part you can't use a locker in the changing room unless you pay extra despite the fact that they are the most expensive gym in town. Their trainers use the equipment to rest their coffee cups and their clients routines as well as use 3+ pieces of equipment for one client even though a client can only use one piece of equipment at a time. The trainers treat me as an inconvenience b/c I'm not paying them and I'm using the equipment. Additionally they have agreements/kick backs with sports teams who occupy a huge majority of equipment depending on the season.

Best fitness center in billings. The only complaint would be that in the prime time hours it's a bit too crowded.

Daniel Stephenson

Nice facility.

Great gym, variety of equipment, friendly staff, seems to have a good management and helpful personal trainers. The daycare is convenient and has good caregivers. I’m giving it three stars because it is one of the most expensive gyms in Billings but it is not always very clean and the weights/equipment are veryyyy disorganized. I understand that people need to be responsible and rerack their own weights but I think the staff should be more on top of the maintenance of the gym.

I chose Granite because I enjoy playing basketball as a warm-up to my workout and it's near my house, however the gym floor is always filthy and never seems to be unoccupied by daycare children.

Was told they would keep my account active on a joint account deactivation so I wouldn't have to repay for anything, went to the gym todat and they tried getting more money out of me and deactivated my account after telling me they wouldnt. .keeping up with payments and going daily.. , go figure. .

First off, I would give five stars if it weren’t for the following. The training staff seem to have the impression they have precedence on equipment over patrons who are not being personally trained. Not only do they hog equipment, they leave their clipboards, cell phones, etc on adjacent equipment. They like to use more than one piece at a time, occupying already limited machines at peak times. Better be quick to the water fountain (30s) or they will strip your 225lbs from the bar you were just at. Then they have to gall to tell you it’s etiquette to let people work in on your machine when you try and do the same and are told it’s being used by staff. Remember Chad and Aggie, patrons pay your wages. Other than that, this gym is clean. The staff is generally courteous and child care is great.

It’s on the more expensive side for gyms in town but it’s worth it. My kids ask me to go the the gym because they want to hang in the kids place.

An excellent facility. The diversity of equipment and the high quality of the staff are big pluses in my book. Adding in a small lap pool, a basketball court, and an ample number of classes this is a very good venue to get your sweat on. Highly recommend.

Grayson Mills

way to much for so little. If you are serious about lifting this is not the place for you. The free weight section is insufficient and the benches are crammed together so that you cant even rack the weights and your spoter has to climb over the other bench to spot you. Minimal weight plates are distributed on the bench racks so you have to consistently track down plates and rob them from other machines. The only thing this gym has going for it is the fact it has 2 lifting platforms and a trap bar from dead lifts. At least half of the cardio equipment is never utilized and needs repair. They could be thinned out to allow more room for the weight benches to be spread out to safely work out with free weights. This gym has potential but management needs to step it up a bit. It caters to the older generation and it shows (that's not a bad thing) but needs to be pointed out for anyone that is considering joining.

Really wonderful folks, highly recommend stopping if you plan to climb in the region. The guidebook we wanted to buy is apparently out of print so we couldn't buy it, but they let us look at the store copy. A great stop!

Facility is very nice. Equiptment nice. Staff very nice. I must have gotten all the bad luck. 3-4th time writing this review since it keeps getting deleted. Expensive to join over $200 up front. Charge you first and second month plus sign up fees. (This fee structure screwed me over at my last gym when I had to move last minute for medical issues) Got in on a promotion. Have to pay for lockers...super inconvenient. Seemed to be plenty of rules. I got yelled at for walking through the deepend of the pool to cool off after the hot tub. I'm diabetic so if you don't want to call an ambulance for one of your customers you should jusy let them walk through to cool off. The old people in the class liked me and took up 1/5th of the pool, but teacher was annoyed by ...my existance? Classes must have gotten moved or cancelled because I only had to deal with that right at the beginning of my membership. Kids everywhere so awkward changing around kids trying to not flash them. I got electrocuted twice by the tredmills (not making that up.) Notified staff and not a problem after that one day. Some of the treadmill belts suddenly halt on each step when I run on them...I only weigh 200lbs. Lol. When I cancelled mostly because I moved the membership manager showed she cared, professionally apologised for problems and asked questions about my experience and offered me a few free weeks if I'm back in town. Was very nice to leave on such a positive note! Billings needs more short term gym options. I was only in town for a few months and all the gyms were pretty greedy for what they offered month to month especially compaired to Missoula and Portland.

On my visit there were Band-Aids everywhere in the pool area and it didn't seem like the pool guy did anything about it. I definitely probably won't be back.

I visited recently to go swimming. We had a great time. It is a nice facility - better and newer than the ymca in my opinion.

I've been a member at many gyms and this is my favorite. Super clean, never crowded, friendly folks, all the amenities and classes that anyone could ask for, including a kids club with drop-in and drop-off options. I'll sometimes drop my kids there and go for a mountain bike ride! Very convenient if I feel like exercising outside. Also they do "date nights" where there is drop-off child-care one Saturday evening, which they do one day per month. Pretty cool. I do wish the kids club hours were better though.
