My sister introduced me to CrossFit on my 44th birthday and a year later l still amaze myself that I can finish my workout. The coaches are encouraging and never make you feel like you don't belong. I can hear Liz now ("you can do more than that".....) They give me the strength to go harder and stronger. I plan to stay at 5 Valley Crossfit for a long time.
I am a male, 58 years old. After having a fusion of L4/L5 in Nov 2011, rotator cuff surgery Nov 2013, I have been working out here for a little more than a year, 3-4 days a week. The coaches have a very watchful eye and are really good about teaching proper technique. There is just enough balance between technique and helping us push ourselves to achieve your own goals. They get to know everyone, lots of great camaraderie and energy in the gym. I like how each athlete will cheer the others on no one is left out. Great owners, always clean, all of the equipment is in great shape, this is a great place to work out. My wife says I am in the best shape of my life and I tend to agree with her, although I ain't 25 anymore. I travel around to lots of cities, Austin, San Diego, Atlanta, Orlando, Seattle, Houston and try to visit other CrossFit gyms. This is one of the best. Give it a shot some day.
A solid crossfit gym. Recommend to anyone that is going to drop in.
Great coaches, workouts, and community. I jumped from gym to gym really unmotivated until I tried CrossFit. I come almost every day of the week now, and I’ve been at 5 Valleys for almost 3 years now. It is a really great place with great people.
I have been working out and improving my fitness with the help of Five Valleys CrossFit for more than four months. Their large facility, varied equipment and unique approach to helping you realize your fitness goals are top notch. I've been lucky enough to take part in many classes hosted by Ian Marshall who is dedicated to seeing everyone (no matter fitness level) improve. Keep it up 5 Valleys CrossFit!
Welcoming gym for all levels. Great schedule to accommodate all work schedules. Great people!
The coaches are friendly, encouraging, and knowledgeable, providing a level of guidance that allows you to safely perform all movements. The workouts are scalable for all skill levels, and there is a fair amount of focus on technique. I find it really inspiring to work-out side by side with fellow beginners and skilled athletes. I have been attending classes 3 times a week for a year and half. As someone who has never been athletic, 5 Valleys Crossfit is helping to change that. I now eat better, sleep better, and I am all around healthier. Also, now at age 36 I can do to a Rope Climb- take that 3rd grade gym class!
Good gym, good coaches, a good place to work your fat off.
5 Valleys CrossFit is an awesome gym with fantastic coaches. I've been a member for about 1.5 years. In that time, I've seen my PRs weights rise and metcon times fall. A workout at 5VCF is always a highlight of my day!
5 Valleys CrossFit isn't just a gym, it is a wonderful community. The coaches are top notch, and the atmosphere is supportive and fun. In the past year I have made incredible fitness gains and am now in the best shape of my life.
I discovered 5 Valleys last fall while they were offering free workouts in the park. As fall approached they offered a strength and conditioning class for skiers and hockey players which I attended at the indoor gym. I was new to this style of training, but the coaches have been super patient and good about giving advice and correcting form. After the ski and hockey training ended I kept going. I feel way stronger, I have more energy, my skiing is better, and I really look foreword to going to the gym with my friends! Highly recommended.
I have been going to 5 Valleys for almost 11months, my husband even longer. We absolutely love it. The coaches and staff are absolutely wonderful, super motivating and all around great athletes. They all have a natural ability to cater to all different levels of fitness, which I believe helps everyone feel included while getting in an awesome, challenging workout. They offer a variety of class options/times, which work well with my busy schedule. It is the one hour that I truly look forward to each day and I have never felt better. If you are wanting to give CrossFit a try, 5 Valleys is your place.
I came from a smaller gym, for example a big class was 5-6 people. 5 valleys CrossFit can have some large classes but the staff have an amazing way of watching over everyone and making sure the classes run smoothly! Also, the programming is super good and always challenging! I am becoming the fittest I have ever been in my life thanks to 5 Valleys CrossFit! Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!! Joseph!
5 valleys is my favorite gym I have ever been to in my life. I used to waste so much money on gym memberships that I never used, and would frequently make excuses for not going to the gym. Since Joining 5 valleys, it’s completley changed my lifestyle. I have been going there for around 2 years now and it just keeps getting better. The coaches are amazing and the community in the gym is even better. If you are one of those people that always feels out of place in a gym or have anxiety about not knowing what to do (like I always did), come check the place out! I promise you won’t regret it!
I love this place. Positive and upbeat atmosphere, welcoming staff, hard workouts, and lots of class times make this gym easy to keep coming back to. Highly recommend!
I tried another CrossFit gym in town, and 5 Valleys is BY FAR the best. Wonderful coaches, who care about you and your fitness goals. It also has a nice family-friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend.
This is a great gym with great people. A clean and current space with coaches that know their stuff. 5 Valleys is a great place to find your motivation.
Awesome space! Fantastic management and coaching - keep it up guys!
Always a fun time at 5 Valleys! Great space to workout plus an awesome staff of coaches. The programming is constantly varied and always an ass-kicker! Everyone at the box is super friendly and encouraging.
Great coaching staff that helps you achieve you fitness goals. The gym has plenty of space for everyone to perform the workouts, and the coaches provide good feedback to ensure the proper techniques is used for each lift or activity. Overall, I'm really happy with the workouts I've attended.
I have been going to 5 Valleys for a little over a year now and it has completely changed my life. Before CrossFit, I could never stay consistent in the gym or stick to a workout schedule. Now, CrossFit is the highlight of my day and I look forward to it. 5 Valleys is the best gym because the coaches are amazing and the classes are challenging but fun!!
Very large facility with access to all of the tools you need to crush yourself. Extremely knowledgeable owner and instructors. They offer lots of different types of CrossFit classes from standard CrossFit to various sports conditioning classes (Soccer teams, hockey teams, ski conditioning, etc...). They have lots of different class times and payments scales. I can't wait to go back tonight.
5 Valleys was my first venture into the CrossFit community and now after a year and a half I can't imagine my life without it. I recommend to anyone looking to change their workout routine to drop in and check out the friendly, caring, professional group of trainers owner Ian Marshall has assembled.
This is one of the friendliest crossfit boxes I've ever had the good fortune to find. Their trainers are knowledgeable and welcoming and the crowd that attends the classes are great. They take in people of various levels of ability and in the time I've been going my performance has definitely improved.
An amazing bunch of people!
Awesome gym! Amazing coaches who are there to help you get through the most demanding of workouts. Great community. Love this place!
The community here is great. I've met some of my best friends at 5VCF. Oh, I've gotten really healthy too.
I've been going to CrossFit for the last year and a half. After I had my daughter almost 5 years ago, I thought I would never get back into the shape I was in before pregnancy, where I was placing in half-marathons and triathlons. My husband had been doing CrossFit for about a year before I started and he convinced me that I would like the workouts and the competitive spirit. He was right, I am definitely addicted and at age 34, I'm probably in the best shape of my life. It takes awhile to learn and fine-tune all the moves, but the coaching staff and other athletes at 5 Valleys CrossFit are great about scaling the workouts so beginners and even injured athletes can do them. I would highly recommend this gym!
Don’t be intimidated! I’ve never had more fun working out !
