Training here was okay but, not very organized. I got injured during training and no one seemed to care-the very few staff that even knew about it in the first place. It's hard to contact them as they often don't return calls. The instructors are generally cool but, the overall operation doesn't seem nearly as organized as it should be.
Update (12/2018): Below the owner responded by saying injuries occur in such activities. I think that is obvious but, what do you do when they happen? How are you preventing them? You need to be watching over what happens at all times and not just sending people through the motions. There are many people trying to compete in organized bouts and they can't afford several months off away from training or missing the actual fights themselves. Others are just trying to get in shape and/or learn basic self defense and they can't afford to miss months off of their day jobs. What are you going to tell an MMA or boxing guy/girl when s/he has to miss fights due to injury? What are you going to tell someone working at the local real estate office or bank when they show up to work on crutches, "Well uh, we try to warn people up front there will be injuries?" How is that going to pay their bills or get their job back? How does that explain unreturned calls? Sure, MMA style training is tough but, unorganized and unsupervised activities should not be going on-especially with beginners. They don't have knowledge, discipline or control so expect more injuries than usual. MTT says they will make adjustments but, no details. Sounds token to me. Hopefully they make improvements but, if you go to MTT don't waste time there if you see unorganized activities and poor supervision. Try some of the other local gyms ASAP.
