Dirty facilities, staff largely incompetent, shoddy equipment, and shady business tactics. I switched to a bigger athletic club in Spring Lake and I'm happy to make the commute and pay more for the quality. It's funny what greed and apathy does to a business. Hope that payment model keeps 'working' for you, Endurance Fitness.

I had my free fitness consultation today, and it was amazing. I felt like the trainer understood my goals and will work with me to achieve them. He connected with me, got to know me, and then set me up with a personal trainer for a great price. All of the trainers are easy to get along with and will do whatever it takes to keep you on track. I'm proud to say I'm a family member at family fitness.

If anyone is going to sign up for a gym membership DO NOT get one at Family Fitness. They are horrible! They have you sign to become a member but doesn't tell you that you'll be locked in for 4 YEARS. I went to cancel and they said if I wanted to cacel I would have to pay the rest of my contract up front! What! If I don't want to go to their facility anymore i am not going to pay 2 years worth of gym access to not have access!!! I am not paying $368 up front to not have access to the gym that I dont want to go for. That makes no sense! NEVER GET A MEMBERSHIP THERE!!! They are soooo shifty.

My experience at here was really good after signing up in 2015. Every issue that occurred was solved immediately by staff (Emily). They make sure the customers always come first and that they are satisfied.

After being a member for over five years I decided to cancel due to my employer opening a free fitness center in their building for employees to use. When I called Familu Fitness corporate office they told me I had missed a payment in 2014 that cost me $60 to fix that I was never notified of before. Then after paying that I’m being charged $150 for backing out of a two year contract I never signed. I see there is a class action suit against Family Fitness for canclation fees. This gym is not worth the stress! Be warned!

There was a class action lawsuit for this business because of cancellation fees and unknown other fees. They told me I could cancel my membership for $75 and so later I decided I didn’t want the membership anymore and tried to and they told me I had to call corporate so I did, corporate told me I have email them? This is insane, I also learned that this fraud business will not tell you if you missed a payment they will let you build late fees until you find out. This entire time I thought I was on time for every payment, I was actually just building a debt for myself, do not get into a contract here!

My favorite part about Family Fitness Center is that they offer unlimited guests with membership and that they have a decent selection of fitness classes at regularly scheduled times, including evening classes. I do feel like some of the equipment is run down and old. I also think they could do better with keeping the facility clean.

Very friendly staff. I visited home for a couple of weeks from Alaska and all of the gyms in town refused to let me just pay for a full month to workout while I was on leave. Family fitness offered a pass to try the gym. Although they didn't get a membership from me, they were friendly, made me feel welcome and I would definitely recommend them to family and friends. It's a great price with decent equipment. Thanks guys!!

When I first moved here a year ago this gym was very welcoming and the atmosphere is the perfect fit for me. All of the employee's and trainers are very helpful and truly care about your goals. The members are also very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this gym very highly to everyone!

I was given a membership for christmas and if not for that I would not continue to go there. It is a functional facility for those who do not hold high standards for a fitness center. I will just say exactly what I saw when I went in for my first workout. The mens locker room was filthy. dirty floors, dirty lockers, dirty sinks, mirror had soap scum writing on it and splash residue no way that it had been cleaned recently. First treadmill I tried the incline feature was not working; machine not marked as broke. Dirty towels for wiping down equipment one bottle of cleaner spray in whole gym. MIsmatch weights and broken barbell sitting out in the open. Dumbells old but functional. dumbbell benches falling apart. one was so bad you could see all the padding foam. Again did not look like it had been thoroughly cleaned in a long time. Staff so far has been pleasant; plus 1. It was a Monday so its not staffed on Sunday maybe it will be better the next time I go. I have worked out in facilities on military bases, urban cities and schools. this is not exactly what I look for considering the price. which may seem cheap, but the last gym I belonged to only cost $99 for the whole year and was never this dirty. I will continue to use my membership because it was free and I am a broke recent college grad. But if I could get better I would.

Jessica is an excellent trainer and has just the right amount of motivation during the entire workout. LOVE HER!! Kody is a pretty good burst of energy and is quite funny. He always greets me as I walk in and offers to by me Biggby! ;) Emily is a saint. She let me know when I owed money and helped me fix up my account. She's great at sales and is such a ray of sunshine. :)

Okay equipment. Air always seems stale. Stars deducted due to the one squat rack they have available at both Muskegon and Norton shores locations. Bottom line, it's a gym. It works for now.

Staff is nice and it's pretty clean. Some equipment is older but it's not too bad. They have plenty of newer equipment. The main thing that sets this gym from the other Family Fitness is it's HUGE & lots of equipment! So much variety!

WORST GYM I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. THEY STOLE $75 OUT OF MY ACCOUNT AND REFUSE TO RETURN IT. WHEN I EMAILED AND CALLED ABOUT IT THEY GIVE ME THE RUN AROUND WHEN I HAVE EMAILS FROM THEM TELLING ME THEY WOULD CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP IN FEBRUARY BUT THEY CHARGED ME FOR 3 EXTRA MONTHS AFTER THIS.

You get what you pay for, when you overall are paying 10ish dollars a month you can't expect all that much. If you are signing up for the classes I would advise taking advantage of the 14day pass, there are only two classes offered at this time and "spin" is a joke. Don't get me wrong the trainer is AMAZING but when there are more broken bikes than working bikes that should tell you something right there about the gym.

I love because it has childcare. My 7 month old loves going. The staff is very friendly. Nevertheless, I would love to see more of the cardio machines working. Also, more weight machines available for women to use. Lastly, the evening classes are awesome! ;]
