Insanely old equipment. Obnoxiously expensive. And the staff is rude as can be once they've got you signed up. I don't recommend this garbage gym to anyone. Do yourself a favor, save some money and go somewhere else.

Great facility in terms of equipment and hours for the dedicated fitness individuals! However despite management being friendly, the owner doesn't value loyalty and is extremely selfish with regards to members who fully invest in this small business. I was a member for 2.5 years and continually invested in the gym with regards to protein shakes and supplements. Less than 1 week before an out-of-state move my membership expired and the owner wasn't willing to honor 2 free workouts in exchange for my customer loyalty and word of mouth marketing. I'd opt for Maximus Fitness or Family Fitness next time for a more customer friendly facility.

Excellent Gym. Less expensive than the Y or the Kroc with more amenities than the lesser competitors such as Fam Fit or Planet. Ownership recently changed and the gym is currently receiving some makeovers. The gym has excellent cardio equipment, plenty of machines for every muscle group, and free weights up to 150lb dumbbells. They also hold classes in its own larger dedicated area. The staff is actually knowledgeable and in shape and can answer any fitness questions. Gym members are friendly and have a good guy/girl mix of attendance. Highly recommend

Depending on who you are and what you are looking for you may or may not like this gym. If you are a person that would really benefit from a 24 hour gym, This may be the right place for you. If you use the gym during normal gym operating times this is not the gym for you. Pros: Tanning, 24 Hours Cons: weight room is small and cramped, weights only up to 100lbs

Worst gym I've ever been to. Equipment is old as can be. They take a yearly charge for better equipment but they had 2 treadmills out for about 3 months. Tried to tell the "owner" but instead just got backlash saying they have multiple others still in working order. Unfortunately he didn't seem to care. And neither did the manager when I told him. Also the weight room is crammed. There's no room in there during a busy hour. I don't recommend this gym the staff is okay but the manager and the owner are nasty. Plus they charge way too much, most gyms nowadays beat their pricing by over $15.00 A month; with much newer equipment and with a much more approachable management team.

Bunch of crooks that say moving 35 minutes away isn't enough to cancel. So they want almost $250 to cancel a membership plus a 30 day notice so they charge me one last month before I leave. Plus their "maintenance fees"..... Their equipment is falling apart and nothing new ever seems to come in. I will do my best to steer everyone away from this place.....

I’ve been a member here sense 2014. The location, steam room and 24hr access keeps me coming back. My only complaint is the poor lighting in the parking lot at night and the treadmills really need to be updated.. I’ve herd from several people that they would come more often late night if the parking lot had better lighting....

Great staff and members. I've had memberships to other gyms and this one by far has met my personal needs. I've lost 70 lbs since starting in March. Huge variety of different equipment whether you want free weights or machines..... they have it! Additionally they have a sauna, tanning options, high class protein shake bar and ability to purchase supplements right at the gym itself. Comfortable environment - Love this gym!

The other instructors are fabulous, the people in the weight room are awesome, and everything has been recently updated so the place looks great! This is the first gym that I have gone to for more than a year - and the first that I actually ENJOY going to!!

Endurance is a great gym for almost any fitness goal. A healthy diversity of gym equipment (i.e., hack squat and Jacobs ladder). Staff is friendly. New owner has made proactive steps to update the gym, which adds tons of value to a membership here.

Overpriced for what is offered. The facility is sadly kept, not updated at all. Ceiling tiles stained & holes, carpet taped and icky. Can't plug in to listen to tv while on treadmills. Great that is is 24, great classes, great people at the gym, ill kept place.

We've only been here a grand total of a week, but so far it's one of the best gyms I've been to. Always super welcoming, good selection of equipment, free classes, and decent locker rooms. Everything seems to be in pretty good condition too. I've been there a handful of different times during the day (lunch time, mid afternoon) and it's not super busy, so there's no waiting for machines. So far, we both love it here. I know they have smoothies and drinks as well, but we haven't taken advantage of that. 24 hour access is a great thing to have, and the parking lot is big. Our price is set with our complex and is super cheap for us, but I also know their standard rates are competitive! Hoping to stay here for a while.

The gym is now under new ownership and it's been great for those of us who use this gym on a regular basis. If you came here under the old ownership you really need to stop by and see for yourself the improvements that Jason as made so far. The classes offered are one of the reasons I continue to go, from Yoga to Silver Sneakers there is something for everyone. Thanks Jason, enjoying the new improvements!

This gym is fantastic! The staff is very friendly and helpful. It offers a variety of classes, including Silver Sneakers, which is a great way to improve strength, balance, and heart health. The new owner has been busy making the work-out areas more user friendly. I felt welcome the minute I walked in the door. Overall, a great place to exercise!

I joined Silver Sneakers 16 years ago and usually go to the classes 2X/week. I think Zak is doing a great job at leading our class and the new owner is doing a great job in updating the equipment and and trying very hard to make sure everything is working out for everyone!

The atmosphere is great for hard core lifters, but also had good equipment for cardio and a yoga room. Dumbells up to 150lbs and great oldschool machines better then all of the new equipment at other local gym. Its a must to stop by a day and lift, i drive 40min to lift at the gym and well worth it.

I absolutely love our gym community. I have made many friends young and old and look forward to our interactions. That’s the secret sauce. I really enjoy the group fitness classes too. We are one big family. Over the 11 years I have been a member, I have maintained my fitness with the help of great trainers and lifting weights as well as those classes. The staff is always encouraging and fun to talk to. There is something for everyone here.

I work out daily and love it here! Great place to exercise, have fun and reconnect with friends! Rick, the owner, is very knowledgeable and cares about the members and his gym. Oh, and I love the shakes after my workout......yummy! I would definitely recommend Endurance to anyone looking for a gym. They are 24/7 and also have classes for the young and old.

I can't recommend this gym enough! I have a Healthways membership, which gets you access to many different gyms around the country. Some gyms are very difficult to gain access to with this membership due to many employees of gyms not being knowledgeable of those memberships or just inconvenienced by it for some reason, but Jason was very helpful and worked with me very quickly to get me in even though I was just going to be in town for a day. This type of customer service is exceptional! On top of that the gym was very clean and had everything I needed. The locker room was clean, and the dry sauna was perfect and heated up very quickly (<5 minutes). Give Jason and this place a chance if you are in the area!

Endurance Fitness rocks! They have the best Spin, Les Mills and Zumba classes, dry saunas in the locker rooms, super friendly and helpful staff, including Jason (the awesome new owner), a really nice abs section, effective and well maintained cardio and strength equipment, and a huge free weight room with dumbbells as high as 150lbs! By far, the best gym in the greater Grand Rapids area!

Great gym with a friendly atmosphere! I’ve been working out at Endurance Fitness in Kentwood for nearly 10 years and have always been satisfied with what the gym had to offer, but I couldn’t be more pleased with the new management! I seriously can’t wait to go to the gym every time to see what new improvements have been made since the last time I was there—spruced up equipment, better layout, more amenities and an overall cleanliness that is refreshing. The gym has a great variety of weight lifting and aerobic equipment and an assortment of fitness classes. Plus Jason and the friendly staff are so helpful and encouraging, I feel great about myself every time I go.

Unprofessional staff, WAY Overpriced, and the owner has the people skills of a squirrel. Notice how everyone who had a bad experience here for some odd reason doesn't show up in his system... What a joke. Came here while I was in the area looking for a gym I could go to in the summer, and ended up at this dump. Don't come here, there's gyms in the area that will beat the price and you will be much happier. Plus the equipment is much older than most gyms yet about 3x the price. I support positive people, and these guys are not that.

Excellent local gym! Jason, the owner, is a great guy, very welcoming and enthusiastic. Can't beat the price for the amenities available and it sounds like Jason's plans for the space will turn it into a next level fitness center. Powerlifting friendly, widest range of equipment I've found in GR, saunas, classes, smoothie bar, you name it! A much needed space in the GR area.
