After over charging our checking account $1800 the manager was nice enough to tell us there was nothing he could do and he had no way of communicating with the owner. Said the owner just stopped in from time to time and does not take phone calls or have an email address. All the smiles and customer service went right out the window as soon as there was a problem and no one could be bothered to fix it.

Started working out at Westland while Farmington is being built, I couldn't be happier. They have everything from Olympic lifting platforms to spinning classes. They also give you a personal training session to start off which is awesome. Really looking forward to this location opening since it's right around the corner!!

I was meaning more if you're looking the kind place that comes to your office's private parking lot and leaves cheap, cardboard flyers on all of the windshields. So far my experience has been very good. The people are very friendly and kind. And I checked all the gyms near by and no one can beat the price. Especially for the facilities you get. Also it is a good thing that this gym is large because it can get crowded during peak times but you always manage to find some equipment.

Not a good place to workout at all. They do not have the necessary equipment for working out. They lack a lot of weight training equipment and some cardio equipment. Their is often too many people in this crowded building hoarding any available equipment

Crunch doesn't meet the expectations they create from the social media. During signup, They never told me about the applicability of annual membership chagres in case of cancellation. I signed up for annual commitment and now due to job change, I had to cancel my membership. During cancellation, the executive didn't about the annual charges but he was telling about the monthly charges $35 as I didn't give 10 days notice (They didn't tell this during signup). I was surprised by the email that says I was charged $83.95 for cancellation. This is an awful experience and a total negligence of how you charge your customers. I'd never sign up any Crunch. Terrible experience!!

Love this gym. The staff is so friendly, however there is a huge turn over. Don't get too attached to any instructor. Lots of classes offered or lots of equipment and machines to use on your own. I only wish they would switch up the music once or twice a week. Not every member is a youngster who enjoys rap type tunes!

This has to be one of the most ridiculous situations I have ever had to deal with. I have been trying to get in contact with one of the owners of this place for a while now. Im going to make a long story short. This place has scammed me out of thousands of dollars. I signed up in October of 2018 along with 3 months of personal training. I cancelled my membership in January 2019. Since then, 3 credit cards, and my debit card have been charged different transactions adding up to over $3,000. Including the most recent one, of $1,280 on July 5th. Remember, I haven't been a member there since January. I didn't notice the $40 a month from my debit card, and $40 a month on my American Express, but after that 1280 charge hit, I started looking deeper. I called this place to try to get in touch with one of the owners. Instead, the kid at the front desk gave me to a "manager" named Zach. I tried to calmly explain that I haven't been to that gym in 7 months and I haven't been a member since January, but my card got charged for $1280 7 months later. Zach's only explanation is "you singed up for personal training". My dude, that was almost a year ago and I singed up for 3 months. This "Zach" guy obviously has no authority at all, so why I was transferred to him I have no idea. I said "Zach, bud, use your head. I haven't been to that place in over a half a year." Zach then proceeded to hang up on me. It goes a lot deeper. They charged me for 3 months of personal training after I stopped going back in January. I contested it with my credit card company since no one there was returning any phone calls or anything. My trainer stopped going to that gym before I was even down with my "3 months". I have so many texts from him warning me to get out of that place as fast as possible. Telling me to come to LA fitness with him. There are so many things that have happened its to much to put in writing as it gets very confusing. When I originally tried talking to the personal training manager "dan", he had been let go. So I went in there 4 more times after that but every time the new "manager" wasn't in. Thats when I cancelled me and my finances $40 a month memberships. That didn't matter though, come to find out they have been charging me regardless. I didn't notice until the $1280 just hit, 7 months after I cancelled my membership. Who ever the manager is named "Zach" needs to be super fired. He's obviously some stand in (probably very new to any kind of "management" position) who has no idea how to deal with people, or basic problem solving of any kind. I have never been talked to so poorly by a company that I am a customer to and that I have spent a lot of money with. Thats not counting him hanging up on me like a 5 year old just because he didn't know how to handle a situation. I explained to him that I am working on filing a lawsuit for monies taken without authorization, and he said it'd be a waste of money. Again, my dude, we haven't been members there for over half a year. you've over charged me thousands. Zach never called me back. What a shame. Now mind you, I haven't received a single phone call, email, text, or any form of telepathy since I cancelled. They just kept on charging. I can keep on going but that would be redundant. There are so many other issues I have had with them. Please be aware.

Very clean and welcoming gym. Nice crowd and active environment. On the other hand, the staff is a complete joke. The free tour was vague and discouraging to pursue my fitness goals. This gentlemen named zack who supposedly hold the Superiority of the facility just directed me to exit my interest on being part of crunch fitness. On account of his poor attitude, zack couldn’t provide me a direct answer to my questions, I felt like I was joke to him as he snickers during our discussion. I hope to speak to someone who hold a higher title than Zack so I can regain my interest to join the facility.

I have been going to this gym for several months now. There is always equipment available even during peak hours. Staff has been very friendly every time I go in. I have only seen the locker rooms well kept. All of the free weights and classes are a big plus!

Crunch Fitness is the best gym in the region. (Trust me, I have shopped around). They have all the equipments you'll ever need and more. The staff members are extremely courteous and super friendly!

I am used to be a member at lifetime and I switch because they keep jacking up the price and place is messy. Much cheaper than lifetime if you just want to lift and train. Lifetime is $75 now but crunch can be as low as $10. Most people here clean up after themselves.

Gym floor is great but they never seem to clean the locker room. Always have brown growth in the sinks and dirty floors around the lockers and showers. Definitely wear flip flops in these showers...three weeks later since the original review and the sinks still have the brown growth.

You guys need to be very clear while sending promotional texts. I received a text that July is a buddy month and if i refer someone they can join for 4 cents and i can get one month free. When i called,manager told me that the deal was for July 4th. But the message doesn't say that its only for July 4th weekend. Stop sending false and unclear promotions to crunch members!!

Clean, equipped, and inviting. The trainer Dan Sherman is a great motivator and brings the intensity that the average person needs to get results. I have worked with division II athletes and I felt that his workouts were efficient and his knowledge is expansive. This gym has a bit of everything for an affordable price.

This gym gives you the "bang for your buck" and It offers you great personal trainers, equipment and a friendly community with some people giving tips for beginners. There is also a sauna and spa and the only downside is the locker rooms sometimes get disgusting and the staff is okay overall, mixed with friendly and incompetent ones alike. They also require a checking account number, but it's ok since there wasn't any transaction issues so far.

I am Posting this so others have insight on the harassment and discrimination that happend to my girlfriend and I at the gym from the employees . We have been with the gym since the gym first opened. The gym has a high turn over rate with employees and one day my girlfriend and I were working out With each like we have been doing for a long time now. One of the new employees comes up to me and starts accusing me of doing personal training with my girlfriend. I know that outside personal trainers are not aloud to do personal training in the gym because thats how they make their money but this new employee came up to me and accused me of personal training my girlfriend and he told us that we had to leave. We were both working out at the same time like normal just like any other person would with their gym buddy or significant other. At this point i had no idea why he singled us out and accused us of personal training. We went to the front of the gym to speak with the manager and she said it wasnt her call it was the owners who were watching the cameras and they wanted me kicked out. I asked her why we were being singled out for doing nothing more than working out with each other. She said i dont know maybe "" its because of the way you look"" thats why they are watching you on the cameras...i didnt know how to take that at first, she told me it is because of how i look. I have this all recorded on video by the way. I felt very discriminated against and embarrassed as all this is happening in front of all the other members of the gym. Now as all this is happening another employee at the gym is defending me and pleading to the manager that i am Not a personal trainer and that we only work out with each other. She didnt want to hear it and we had to leave. I called the owners of the gym and asked them if it was true that they have been watching me on the cameras and wanted me to leave. He said ""No i have no idea of this situation"". I have this saved in my text messages to show that she was lying about this. The manager called me a few days later apologizing for the Employees actions who told us we were kicked out and she said it was just a big misunderstanding and that she apologizes. I have this voicemail recording saved. I come back to the gym a few days later and the employee who accused me of personal training and had me kicked out kept giving me dirty looks from across the gym making the situation even more uncomfortable. So i went home and left a 1 star review here on google. At the time i didn't write any context i just left a 1 star review. That same night the owner of the gym text me on my phone"" Nice 1 Star Review... Classy"... ..Now to preface what lead me to writing this review. I Worked for the gym when it first opened and i put alot into that place. I helped during the initial construction phase bringing in equipment getting the gym set up. I worked hard and promoted the gym even long after i stopped working there. I built a great relationship with alot of the staff and members but what lead me to leave was the downward spiral the gym went through. Like i said the gym has a large turnover rate and the employee who accused me of personal training did not know that i was a former employee. When an employee quits they have to have written consent from one of the owners that they are allowed to come back as a member and work out. I did get written consent through email from the owner that i was aloud to come back and work out. After this whole situation happend where my girlfriend and i were accused and harassed and discriminated against i left a 1 star review and that prompted the owner to tell me that my membership was terminated effective immediately. Ive witnessed over the past few months employees walking up to members and threatening to call the police on them for the littlest things like having their gym bags on the floor. The gym is ""judgement"" free but if you are in shape you will be accused of being a personal trainer and harassed and kicked out. without any question. This gym has no morals.

If you're wondering if the adverts are correct, they are. With this gym I have the flexibility to go to any of their locations. They offer all of the standard equipment and machines BONUS - all of the other amenities (sauna, tanning, hydro massages, classes & training, etc) and you cant beat the price! All locations I have visited are clean, the staff friendly and its been an overall great experience! Here's to a healthier me! Thanks Crunch!

Best gym in the Detroit area. Once I saw there was a crunch, I dropped my LA fitness the next day! It's super clean, lots of free weight equipment (even plenty of squat racks). And they give different membership levels. Can't say enough good things about this place.

Joined a few weeks ago and can't complain! New facility, super clean - even the locker rooms. Most important thing to me is that you can work out the way you want to. No judgements whether you're and expert trying to maximize strength/gains or a beginner just learning the ropes of fitness. Something for everyone, too! Big variety of group fitness classes, weight machines, cardio, free weights. Expensive sports club experience at a super affordable price point!

Went with some cousins that attend this gym to check it out. Sunday morning the gym was pretty empty. They have a lot of machines and stations for whatever you want to train. Friendly staff. Clean facility. If you live in that area I recommend going for a free workout you’re 1st time.

Initially the reviews turned me off to coming to check out this gym. I wanted something on a budget but with good quality workouts. Yesterday I came to their public BBQ and it was fantastic. They had an awesome Zumba instructor teaching a class. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and informative. They have group classes and training for a great rate, with no hidden fees, just an annual fee which you can't avoid at any gym that I've looked at while looking for a new gym. I'm super excited for them to open! That's my only complaint. Give them a shot, you won't regret it!

Another mega gym for super low starting price which includes nothing!!! Don't let the glitz and glamour fool you. Ask about the yearly fees 2x a year and how busy it will get during peak hours. Maybe you'll get a treadmill if you beat the rush. Save your money and pay a few bucks more for a gym that offers longer hours of operations & more locations. Why join a gym that closes at 7pm on weekdays and 4pm on Sunday??
