Powerhouse is a fantastic gym. The owners and staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. The instructors and trainers are top notch and full of energy. They make it very exciting to attend the aerobic and sweat classes. I definitely recommend Powerhouse in OC to anyone that’s looking for a great gym.

BEYOND outraged with this gym. I got a membership a few months ago and asked to get a tour of the gym. They said someone would call me so I had to fill out a form- waited and waited and no call. So I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe they were just really busy so I went to their website and filled out where I'd like to meet with a personal trainer to see if he could help me and show me the machines and see if hiring one would be something I'd be interested in. Waited and waited- no call! Everytime I came in there the people at the desk never said a word to me and trying to get their attention to turn on the tanning beds was a task in itself. So I decided I wanted nothing to do with this gym and totally appalled and so I asked to cancel my membership. The "manager" on the phone told me I couldn't, that they would cancel it but would still charge me until April of next year!!! What?! So it's my fault that you guys didn't do your job and no I have to suffer the consequences when I just want to go to another gym and get better service? I then asked to speak with someone above him since he said he was the manager and he said "he's unreachable, sorry." I finally just called the office in Salisbury and the man there apologized for them and helped me. The only good thing about this gym is the tanning beds are included. Classes I want to take aren't after business hours and I literally only knew where the arm machines were and NO ONE even acknowledged my existence they just made sure to take my money every month. I will NEVER go back here.

One of the best gyms on the Eastern Shore and that I have ever been to in general. I travel with work a few times a year and I’m always trying new facilities out and I have yet to come across one that even compares to Power House of Ocean City, Md. The management and staff are very knowledgeable and are always there to help with any questions or concerns. The facility is very neat, clean and organized as well. I highly recommend this gym to anyone and everyone! The owners clearly take pride in their business and it shows. It’s a must use facility.

I started working out at Powerhouse in 2010, after switching from another local gym. The cleanliness, friendly staff, and equipment available made the change permanent. The group classes are a great bonus. SWEAT has been especially rewarding for me - the ability to work closely with awesome trainers through challenging workouts.

Arguably one of the best gyms in the city. They have the best equipment, complete and new, their inhouse instructors know their job very well, and the members are from a crowd I am comfortable with. Expect me to stay a member for a long time.

I come here for a week every year when my family vacations in the area. Facility is clean and in great repair, excellent cardio and weight lifting equipment. It expanded a year or two ago and is now quite large. Experience has been very positive now for 6 straight years. I travel frequently for work and always find a gym in the area, and as such have seen many gyms all over the county. This one is definitely well above the curve.

I was on vacation and needed a gym to help work off all the pizza and subs that I've consumed. This place was 8 mins from the hotel I was staying in on the boardwalk, and was glad to find it. Plenty of equipment and didn't have to wait for anyone. The people at the front desk were very polite and eager to help. Will definitely come here on future vacations.

Hands down best gym on the Eastern Shore. They are always continually expanding for its members and adjust their hours during the summer so you have no reason not to go. The gyms also family owned making you feel like you're part of a community rather than some tied down contract. For the past 5 years, I've made many experiences and friends being a part of this community, and if you haven't you should start TODAY.

Over 8 years as being a part of the Powerhouse family I have seen the club grow so much to benefit members and their requests. Always are the owners adding new equipment, making more room, and offering new programs to better accommodate and challenge members! Love the front desk staff and group fitness team! The GM can fix anything and his team work hard to keep members happy everyday. The head trainer works almost all hours of the day and his members sure have fabulous results because of his tremendous effort and awesome attitude about health, wellness, and life! The gym is a second home and Powerhouse OC is my most favorite of all the Powerhouses! Summer time at PH OC is the best!

Great family gym that has everything you need! The staff are always friendly and keeps the facility clean. They offer childcare, aeriobic and spin classes, tanning, saunas, etc.! I recommend to all locals and vacationers.

Awesome place. Short term memberships were nice so I can work out here during the summer (when in OC). Bonus, there is a kids bouncy house play center right next door in the same center so my 3 little ones can get the wiggles out whilst I get my workout on!

Workers at the desk have only ever greeted me in once, prices are ridiculous, tanning bed bulbs are pretty terrible too and didn’t do anything for me after about 8 visits.. don’t waste money here and just go to planet fitness

I used to go here when it wasn't the best. This gym is very nice now. Equipment is very nice. The machines are a little too close together. The lockeroom is really nice. This gym is clean. Cardio equipment is nice. This is by far the nicest of all the gyms in and around OC MD. Highly recommended!

Hadn't been there in over a year, cancelled my membership but apparently it never got processed and now a year later I got a call saying I owe over $400 because they decided to renew my contract without speaking to me. Be very careful in your dealings with them, and make sure you read every single line of your contract.

I have been a member here for over a year. The gym is clean and has plenty of hammer strength machines, free weights, and cardio equipment. There is also a sauna in the mens room.

When I visit Ocean City from Philly I always stop here to workout. Very convenient and not far from the boardwalk. It's a clean gym and a little tight in some areas but gets the job done. Cardio machines are great!!!!!!!

This entire organization is great! I have been to a few gyms over the years but once i joined Powerhouse I find one that made me stay! All the classes, the staff, everything and everyone has been great Highly recommend anyone looking for a different kind of experience check this place out.

Great gym. But somehow when I cancelled my membership, and soonafter changed my card number after losing my wallet on vacation, they let the account run up to $280 (I didn't visit the gym during this time) then they took me to court over it. Every call and encounter I had with accounting was an aggressive one, and because of the contract that noone ever ceased, they said I had no choice but to pay it regardless of whether I went or cancelled or what. A very greedy side of their customer service that I hope noone has the misfortune of dealing with. I felt violated and used and will continue to tell this story...

Enhanced square foot facility. Feels tight in there due to low ceilings. Offers a lot of options for fitness as all gyms do. Price average but they have rules, not just month to month with no strings

Gym is nice and clean. But, Don’t sign the contracts here. I was moving to out of state this year and I asked guy in gym if I need cancel anything before I move and I get answer: “ You’re good”. After 4 months I found a collection record on my credit report for 185$ which is 3 months of membership fees + x3 $25 late payment fees +35% collection fee. I didn’t receive any calls or emails from gym or collections!

I love everything about Powerhouse, Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. They have so many amazing classes to offer and personal training as well. Also Their day care is so clean and all the workers are great with kids, I always feel so comfortable leaving my children with them.

Horrible!!! I signed up with powerhouse in February 2015 and was obligated until 2016. I called to cancel my membership in 2017 because i rarely use it. How am I now being taken to court in 2018 for unpaid memebership fees and decline fees? I was only obligated to pay until 1/31/16. When i was sent a copy of my contract, it had renew written at the top of my original contract. I will definitely being going to this court date.

Powerhouse in OC has a wonderful, kind and loyal staff who are all welcoming and extremely supportive of their members and clients. I’ve been a member for 4 or 5 years and will never belong to another gym for as long as I live in OC. Gun equipment is well taken care of and there is lots of it! :)

Nice gym with good equipment but a few big issues that can be fixed easily. 1: WiFi does not work in the weight lifting Area and there is no phone service in this area either. 2: All three Bench press are located directly under very bright lights and make it very hard to bench with open eyes, it would be very easy for the management to put a tinted lens over the lights. 3: The punching bag is in a poor location and they really should figure out a better place to put it.
