Nowadays this business receives a rating of 4.4 out of 5 and this score has been calculated on 193 reviews.
You must have seen that it has an average rating is high, and it is based on a high number of opinions, so we can think that the score is quite faithful. If many people have bothered to rate when they've done well, it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to place evaluations when they are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Gym is classified in the category of Gym.
Definitely a lot of fun, but worth investing some time in the gym on bodyweight upper body strength before you go. Also, a pair of heavy duty gloves may save your hands from rope burn should you slip down the rope but your hands still try to grip. Less fun to burn your hands and try to continue the night, so find some protection.
We did a staff event here and had an absolute blast! There are tons of different elements to try, which means there is virtually something for everyone. Whether you want to try the rock wall, trampolines, a mechanical bull, or a ninja warrior course, there's a good chance you'll find something you enjoy here. The only thing I will say, is that it is easy to get tired fast (especially on the trampolines!) You get tired more quickly than you imagine you would. So I'd recommend buying a short amount of time and adding more time later if you aren't tired.
Extremely nice and worth the money.
Awesome substitute to the same ole trampoline jump type places. This enforced physical endurance and ability instead of just jumping around. They even have a chill room for parents to lay down or relax. Let the kids roam and try the ninja type warrior activities.
This place rocks!!! I took my 8yr old daughter and her friend the other day and they loved it. Great for all ages. This is now one of our new favorite spots in Columbia.
Did not like the waiver AT ALL! I had to sign away my life. The dude had so much fun though, so despite a minor injury, the waiver was worth it.
I will only give 5 stars if it's really warranted. And today it was totally warranted. This place is so much fun. Way better then your usual trampoline gym. They have obstacles that will challenge you but will is still fun and engaging. They have things for everyone and every age. The dual bull riding is fun! But most importantly the staff was absolutely amazing!! All of them. But especially Seth. They took time to show you all the obstacles and how to achieve your goals of conquering them. And then they cheer you on and want to see you succeed as much as you want to. I can't say enough about this place. We came from PA to MD specifically to try this place. We glad we did. And we will be back soon!!!
Nice setup for America ninja training, but too adult for kids. Fun but a few of the obstacle courses are out of reach for kids. Still good activities and other things to keep all happy.
This place is super cool, they've got all the stuff from American ninja warrior. We went for a birthday party, they had 2 employees that helped the kids out and hyped them up. It was awesome.
Definitely recommend this place! For the “Ninja Warrior” theme it absolutely killed it. There’s two ninja warrior sections, sasuke and shinobi. Sasuke is like the actual American Ninja Warrior, and shinobi is more kid friendly but still has challenging and fun obstacles. For people who like trampoline dodgeball, there’s also a section for that. And don’t forget about NinjaTrek! It’s like an inflatable bouncy obstacle race. Personally, I think the experience is even better when you’re in a camp/class. They are very fun and the teachers/staff are funny and helpful. Overall, this place is awesome
The ropes and obstacle courses (think America Ninja Warrior esque) were really challenging, but it was fun. The kids couldn't finish per se, but they had a great time. They have a lot of climbing walls with ropes and tires, and it was great! There was a huge inflatable maze, all the kids had a blast! There's things to do for younger kids too.
Great fun for the family and great for birthday parties, can be a little hectic and I would not recommend for kids under 8, overall a lot of fun and a great staff.
Fun experience, recommend for kids 6+
My daughter loves this place, but its staff is not always mindful and some items are left in disrepair longer than they should.
It's an excellent place for the family and guaranteed to work up a sweat!
Excellent for entire family.
Great team bonding activity...lots of fun for all
This has everything that your inner child could ever want. there are all kinds of America Ninja Warrior style obstacle courses from intermediate to Advanced. You have all kinds of different climbing wall options, and even a bucking bronco that will entertain you for hours. This is a great place to host a birthday party. They do have rooms for party members. Make sure that you sign your waiver ahead of time. They do require a special type of grip sock to be warned that they sell here.
Really cool place
The only thing wing with this place is that it is not closer to home. It was awesome. The price was extremely fair for the tone we got there. There were enough options to really wear a person out without repeating things. The staff were all so friendly and helpful.
They never answer the phone!!! Seems chaotic and poorly managed! Had to wait 35 minutes just for one of the staff to figure out how I can get store credit since my cousin had got injured and was unable to play at ninjabee. I’m not impressed with this place although it looks really nice!
The concept is awesome, and the obstacles are a lot of fun, but the staff really set it apart. It's so hard to find good customer service these day, but this staff is amazing.
Went with a group of 3 adults. Great setup and equipment. The staff however was very unhelpful and organization is awful. Upon walking in the doors you are prompted to get in line just to get to the front to be told you have to sign a waiver and then get back in like. There was only one staff member in the padded corse who was leaning against the wall the entire time. Kids were all over the equipment and under it playing on the mats which made it difficult to do anything without running the risk of falling on a kid. No lines or rules were implemented so people were going forwards and backwards on the corse which staff didn’t seem to mind. Very cool setup but defiantly needs more organization and safety measures before someone gets seriously injured.
Super fun!
Such an Awesome concept! After our 1st tour, it was an easy choice to schedule our granddaughter's birthday party at NinjaBe. Large, comfortable party room with ample dining-friendly seating. Food was tasty and filling. Selection of fun, physical activity stations seems well thought out. The bull ride was a BIG hit! The kids and parents had great fun!
Fun and innovative! A place for the whole family to enjoy! I highly recommend you try this place out!
My 10 and 8 year olds and my husband had a blast. This ninja gum has so many different activities...obstacle courses galore, inflatables, climbing and more. They limit the amount of people they let in, so it's not too crowded. There were a lot of staff keeping things moving and keeping people safe. My only suggestion would be more ANW type obstacles for kids (smaller scale). We'll be back!
Good place too let the kids burn off some energy.
Really nice place! Kids had a blast!! Recommended to buy your tickets online during holidays and weekends because they reach their capacity. Just like Ninja Warrior on tv but for kids!
A lot to do. Challenging but a lot of fun. Our 5 year old was able to do quite a bit as well and had a blast.
Nice place, fun time but they could use better safety measures in place. The place is awesome but a lawsuit waiting to happen. Metal bars not covered in padding, warped walls near metal benches.. Could be dangerous to kids if not supervised and the staff isn’t always around like they should be. Other than that it was fun.
Great for kids of all ages! Our Youth group loved coming here! Kids get tuckered out about 1 1/2 hours.
Came for the first time last night with my two children and my nephew. We had fun, however there wasn't much my son who is 43" to do and my nephew found a pocket knife in the slide (toxic crush) that my son was playing on the entire time. Please check your equipment more frequently, what if he would have found that?!!
Amazing spot for kids. Get them busy and tired out all in one spot. Surprised that every mall doesn't have one of these
Upgrade over Climbzone in terms of difficulty. Some of the activities are for taller or older kids. Real ninja warrior skills needed. Fun atmosphere, staff was nice and helpful. Standard party fare.
Had a child's 8th birthday party at Ninjabe today. Clean, new, bright, modern place with more than enough activities to keep folks' happy and somewhat awestruck, and very nice and attentive staff.
Great atmosphere good customer service
So much fun a bit unorganized when I went maybe because they were just opening rates on the high side and I dont like that you cant keep you party room and food and drink is separate also they put your shoes and gifts on a cart and leave it unattended but overall the kids love it
Awesome
Not sure if this place is for kids only. Its like that America Ninja Warrior show. Kids enjoyed it and it looks like fun.
To start online hours posted stated 11, arrived at 1150. Was told to come back at noon. No big deal. We did that. Took the steps to completed the waivers well in advance. Then returned and was swamped in line. Only to arrive to the front and told only accepting reservations, when the person in front of me was not a “reservation” and was made and exception. Terrible customer service, no indications of reservations only. Will never return. Beware. Highly recommend going to Launch is across the street. Viewable from This place. In addition we are looking at numerous potential customers “lost” from this Ninja place that were in line with us coming to launch as they are experiencing the same nonsense we experienced.
Just AMAZING VENUE ! Activities for All. Train For Ninja Warrior and Alt CrossFit. BeThere
Fun experience for the kids
We went to a birthday party and they over charged the party $120.00 and refused to give a refund. Terrible customer service
We all had a great time
Very family friendly!
I love
Great place to wear out your children
It's like ninja warrior and the gym combined together. They also have Winter classes and Summer camps.
Came here on Saturday for my child to attend a friend's birthday party. It was our first experience at NinjaBe, and they didn't make a very good first impression. I arrived at least five minutes prior to the start time of the party (the party had approximately 10 kids), and it took us TWENTY MINUTES to check in. Why? Because the guy working the desk to check in was slower than a sloth in molasses and smelled like pot. You know that scene in Zootopia with the sloth at the DMV? Yeah, picture that, and then add the odor or marijuana. There were several of us trying to check in for the party and he was so slow. Instead of just making an announcement that everyone needed to sign a waiver and if you hadn't, to go do it, he made us each wait till it was our turn to tell us. So, there were SIX tablets to fill out these waivers on... how many were actually working?? TWO. Not acceptable. Especially with a group of us trying to check in (as well as others who were just there to play, not a part of the birthday party). Once I got my waiver finally filled out, went back and had to stand in line again for the slothy-pot guy, who then made me go somewhere else to put the gift down before he gave my child the socks and the headband, and wristband. He handed us all this stuff just in time for me to see that my child was not included in the group picture that was taken at the party by the NinjaBe employee and the parents in the group. I arrived in plenty of time and the check-in process should have not taken anywhere near that long. I am disappointed that my child missed out on being in the group party picture because of the ridiculous check-in process and employees. Once we got past that and my kid got to get in and play, it was pretty cool. However, the employees 'supervising' in the obstacle-area were few and far between. A bunch of kids wanted to ride the giant black bag across the course, and there was no one there to pull the rope to bring the bag back. The kids were little and couldn't do it themselves. So I had to jump up from the outside and have one of the kids push the rope to me so I could pull it back for them. Over and over and over. Was I paid for that? No. Is it someone else's job (who gets paid to do that)? Yes. Someone showed up to do their job with that once or twice the whole two hours we were there. The icing on the cake, no pun intended, was witnesses the NinjaBe employee who was assigned to our party, ask the Mother of the Birthday Boy, if he could have a piece of the cake he was cutting up and serving. There was plenty of cake, and she told him yes, but that is extremely unprofessional. That's like going to a restaurant and having a meal prepared for you and the chef asking if he/she can have some of it. Although the place itself is pretty cool, the issues might just outweigh the cool factor. We've never had any issues at SkyZone, so we'll just continue to go there.
AWESOME!! AA
Wonderful place to exercise & train to be a Ninja Warrior! Check out the art in the Zen Room and purchase original art from locals artists today!
Pretty cool place. I went for a kid's birthday party and it's a little advanced for little kids. More suitable for teens and up.
So much fun. Great place for everyone
My Daughter "had soooo much fun going and playing on all the courses. They were challenging but fun."
Nice place. Great, fun time
Fantastic fun!
Pretty fun, be ready to sweat.
Fantastic set up - the family all loved it.
super fun, obstacles just like the t.v. show though not as big as some of the others in the area
This is really nice place to get your kids tired so you can have a peaceful evening to yourself. The staff was pleasant and responsive. We will come again.
Awesome experience. We went there for a birth party. Everyone was very friendly. The kids had a blast so did the parents. I enjoyed their quiet lounge while waited for the kids to finished their obstacle course. Super fun.
Very poor experience. We did a group kids ninja class through parks and rec, which was $20 a class (the same price as all-day admission free-play). They didn't actually instruct or teach anything. They stretched for forever, followed by jumping off of a small block (skip 2 stairs on your stairwell and you're good to go for free) and that was it. The kids were not allowed to free play or even use any of the equipment, they had to sit and listen to these instructors (kids) who just kept telling them to sit down or stand in line. The staff didn't know how to work with children and it felt like the biggest waste of money ever. Afterwards, naturally, the kids actually wanted to explore the equipment. The staff chased us down and the manager with the dread-locks actually came up to me and asked me if I had paid yet! Meaning pay $20 again when we had already paid admission. This was so unprofessional, inappropriate, and and ridiculous. We will never go back. Hyperkidz is the definitely the place to go for your kids. Sadly, ninjabe is not.
The place is amazing. The staff is quite helpful and make the visit enjoyable. I visit weekly and a feel a difference in everything I do there. So glad I had a friend recommend this place!! And love the adult only days!
Fun for the kids but check-in line was super slow!!
My daughter came here the first time with her karate school and just had such an amazing time that immediately asked for her birthday party to be here. The birthday party packages seemed really expensive to me, especially with everything that comes with it (not much)so I already knew I couldn't afford it. But her dad ended up paying for it and it actually worked out ok in the end and she and her friends had a great time. We will definitely be back to play here again, there were a lot of different things to do and she actually enjoyed exercising and playing around!
Love it.
I am writing this review as an adult who was interested in checking out the facility for an evening. I arrived, hesitant, wondering if I would be surrounded by only kids... and I was, for half of the time. There were several kids' classes happening throughout all of the courses, so the staff asked us to immediately get off the course to make way for the class. This happened multiple times, and it was very frustrating as we were in the middle of a course and had to stop and leave. The facility looked small, but each course was actually fairly challenging. I think they should even include a beginners course with even more basic activities. The last 45 minutes it was empty inside so the staff was more attentive to us and there was more freedom to complete courses. They even have trampolines for a fun dodgeball game. If you are an adult, I would recommend going during the last hour. It's definitely a good workout and a lot of fun.
It was amazing. Kids were very entertained and actively running, jumping and climbing the entire time. A great combination of obstacle courses, rock climbing, and trampoline dodge ball. They can't wait to go back!
How can you have 2 five star reviews and not even be open?
Kids had fun but the place is unorganized. Stood in line for too long without being acknowledged. No one manning several stations. Party policy/process isnt clear (but we were guests not party hosts.)
Excellent place for the children and adults to have fun
My son of 12 years. He likes it there.
I brought a 10yo and 8yo. It was my 8yo birthday. They enjoyed themselves. They employees were nice.
My son has done a camp and had a birthday party at ninjabe. He had a blast both times. Ninja be was pretty accommodating about allowing guests to bring siblings and just pay for them separately. The birthday party was a little confusing in the beginning. The place was super crowded and it wasn’t clear who was in charge of our group and it took a few extra minutes to get started. Overall everything went smoothly, though, and all the kids had so much fun.
Kids and I had a blast!
Great Facility for the price! There are plenty of obstacles to have you winded within the first 30 mins if you're an adult. The kids seem to have endless amounts of energy in this place. It is especially nice that there is an adult "hideaway" of sorts called the Zen room, and no kids are allowed in there! Overall great use of space and will definitely be returning.
We Loved it ! Great Service ! Great Place !
NinjaBE makes an inherintly dangerous sport as safe as possible in a clean environment. The setting is ideal for teens and young adults, and also very enjoyable for tweens and children — who will need your constant supervision, especially when older, bigger and more robust teens are present. The staff was as hands on or hands off as we needed, happy to thoroughly answer questions and demonstrate equipment when asked. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean. I didn’t use the adult zen space but think parents attending a youth party would appreciate it. After 60 minutes, my entire family was thoroughly worked out and exhausted, in a good way. We were happy to purchase ice cream dots on our way out to fuel us home. Dress in clothes you would work out in. Sneakers are optional and you might appreciate having them on for the advanced course or rock wall.
Went for a kids party. Looked so fun I wanted to join in!
Kids and I had a great time here. Very much like American Ninja Warrior. Friendly helpful staff. You have the option for 60, 90, or 120 minutes and you can reserve your session online. I had no problem getting last minute session on a Saturday. I recommend the 90 or 120 minute session because time flies and it's not much more expensive.
I heard from my buddy Sprite that this place was fun. I stopped by for the first time and met Rian. He is a really cool dude and challenged me to try obstacles that I never would have thought I could do. I will have to let my counterparts know about this place.
Environment is super friendly, employees are willing to help out and encourage (not to mention random small talk about the show and the obstacles). Plus, the obstacles are pretty accurate.
Awsome experience, the kids loved it!
Ninja warrior style play for all ages.
Had a birthday party for my son. Had a great time. Staff was very attentive and accommodating.
We signed up for a Howard County rec class here. The class was fine, but the lovely part was that they let us stay a few minutes afterwards so my little boy could pretend to be Kacy Catanzaro.
Nice and clean with friendly staff. Quite expensive with terrible parking though.
Spent a Friday night here with my husband and two sons. We all had so much fun! The staff was great and so encouraging and there was truly something for everyone! I didn’t love having to leave my purse in an open cubby hole and would have preferred a locker even if I had to pay for it. Other than that it was a blast and we will devotedly be back again!
Seems nice
Workers made us get off one course so they could make a video they should of waited for it to close. WE PAID TO PLAY WHAT WE WANT NOT TO BE DISSATISFIED!!! Won’t be coming back
Best place in town for a true American Ninja Warrior experience. They have it all and then some! The kids have a fantastic time everytime we go and the staff is friendly. A couple of times a few of the pieces of equipment weren't available for use, but it had no impact on the fun-meter. This place definitely gets 5☆ from me!
Fun time. A good workout.
My son LOVES this place. It has plenty to do for him to burn off energy and a great space for parents to sit away from all the commotion of the play area. Nice and clean and inexpensive
My family took our son for his birthday and we had a blast! The staff was awesome and very attentive. We will definitely be back, but next time with more friends! …..can’t have this awesome experience, so much FUN and not share with others.
Not safe for younger kids. Not enough staff. Staff don't control the courses. Staff don't referee the dodgeball arena. No reasonable height restrictions. The staff doesn't coach the kids or control them. There were constantly three or four or five kids crossing sections of a "ninja warrior" course at once, without staff keeping it to one kid per section, or one kid per course. The dodge ball area is the worst idea since lawn darts. There are six trampolines per side, and one harried staff member running between two sides trying to keep kids from flooding in. The only way trampoline dodgeball can be safe is if each kid stays on their trampoline. But that's not how DODGEBALL works, and the only way to enforce that is to have a live referee with a whistle as well as a staff member keeping kids from coming in when the arena is at capacity. That did NOT happen when I was there, and my kid got a sprained ankle. There just are not enough staff to handle this. Also, if your kid goes with a group, expect to chase kids around a huge warehouse for hours. Kids have free roam of the entire place, and there are no height or age limits posted on most of the equipment. A six year old can go anywhere in there, even if the course they're going on is unsafe. This is not a pleasant experience, chasing a kid around a ninja warrior gym for hours. The main elevated ninja warrior course is just not possible for an elementary school kid, yet the course is clogged with little ones taking forever to get across. As a result, the kids crowd the course, with five kids crossing an area at once, which is not safe. There was one staff member for the whole course as far as I could see, and that was not sufficient. The rule should be one person runs the course at a time. The covered inflatable course was the only one where there was a staff member actually controlled entry. Nowhere else was safety or control visible. Now, if you have older kids, you can just drop them off and go. But be sure to tell them not to play dodgeball, because that is definitely not safe for ANY age. My kid had fun, because his friends were there and his friends are great, but he left with a sprained ankle and a doctor's appointment. By the way, what was the staff's response to a child getting injured during dodgeball? They did not stop the game. The staff member at the dodgeball game looked dumbstruck, like he wasn't trained for this possibility. He literally didn't know what to do. They did not send an EMT or even a teenager with a first aid kit over. They did not offer a quiet room. They did not have a staff member spend time with us and see what we needed. I had to climb up there and carry him to a steel bench. I had to leave him crying on the steel bench and go to the desk to ask for a cheap snap ice pack. They didn't ask WHY I needed the ice pack or offer any help. At the very least, if a kid is injured, you need to stop the dodgeball game and clear it out. The staff working dodgeball need to get a manager and assess what went wrong. But they did nothing!
Lots of fun for the kids with a lot of variety of activities! I hadn't heard about the place and ended up going with my daughters for a playdate. Ummm.... the price though... let's say sticker shock! You pay by the hour.
My kids love it here
Do not come here. Or allow your children to attend here. The staff is woefully under trained and inexperienced. My child suffered horrible injures due to their novice staff members lack of safety training and following guidelines. They haven't even changed their answering machines message that says its still January . DO NOT COME HERE!!!
My kids love the different activities, they don't get bored, and they love Miss Zoey.
I did a birthday party for my 6 yr old. The kids had fun and enjoyed themselves. But many areas need scope of improvement. The party coordinator - you are lucky if you get a good, energetic and helpful one. Else you are left on your own. It’s a big noisy place and keeping track of the kids is not easy with no security in place. The obstacles are for varied age group so if kids are not able to do something, they get frustated. A little help and guidance y coordinator can go a long way in keeping kids motivated ( after our party I saw some coordinators helping kids when it was probably less crowded closer to closing, I would have expected the same from our dedicated party coordinator). There is no one to intervene if some older kids are misbehaving and hurting others. They can run out of basic supplies for the party celebration. Overall, this place is learning based on experience of each party and will take more time to be mature and organized.
We went to NinjaBe for my son's 8th birthday (just brought him and friends, did not book a party). They all had a blast, even the adults, who got in on the action as well. Great time for all! My only suggestion is that there be a crosswalk to the parking lot across the street; crossing the street could be a little treacherous :) Thanks NinjaBe! Now all his friends want to go for their birthdays
My 5 year old son loves this place. It's good for his age and older. I wish they had a mini ninja area for toddlers too. It's a great place for a birthday, kids or adults!
Kids had a Great time at a Birthday Party. Definitely will be returning.
A real fun place of you love ninja warrior
Had my daughter's 6th birthday party here. It was a HUGE hit. The staff made everything super easy, all we had to do was show up and have fun. 6 years olds can't do everything they have, but they can do or try most things. Will be back both for my daughter to have fun here, but also my wife and I!
Upon arrival, there was no line and the receptionist took 20 mins just to ring us up. My son was injured due to exposed bolts near an obstacle, and the management attempted to victimize him for the injury. It wasn't until a floor manager stated these deficiencies were noted before and no actions were taken that they began to apologize. Great facility with limitless potential, but poorly managed and their process are highly inefficient. Amateur hour for that size of business.
I had my son’s 15th birthday party at the NinjaBe. He Loved It! Pizza and cake where great. The staff was friendly, professional, and really helpful with showing us how to do all of the obstacles. A special shout out to employees Victoria and Donte for your extra help.
Excellent place for kids to burn energy
I would never do another birthday party at Ninjabe. Way too crowded! Over priced!
Great place to let the kids burn off some energy
Great place! We didn't do the party package, so can't speak to the birthday party process. 3 things: 1) wish there were more "obstacles" for 6-7-yr olds with smaller sized equipment; 2) the Ipad/tablets you complete the waiver on are slow and not touch sensitive; 3) the bouncy house needs an age requirement-- some little kids caused a bottle neck because they couldn't climb up the walls to get to the next level.
Definitely challenging obstacle courses. It was worth it! Super welcoming and safe environment. Staff was friendly and helpful as well.
What a great idea and business model. My children loved it, and it was very physically challenging for adults, and young children. Will be going back in the future once I get myself in better shape to navigate the obstacles with more ease. Thanks for the motivation to do better!
Soo much fun at this place.owner lady’s are super friendly
My friend broke his arm and they didn’t care
I love running around on obstacle courses. NinjaBE is the place to do that as if you're in the American Ninja Warrior. There are a lot of upper body obstacles. Now that I'm older and wary of injuries, I didn't try very hard with those obstacles. They do get pretty high for a short person like me. They also have two mechanical bulls, a dodgeball area that's usually overrun with kids, and an easier swinging obstacle course. My favorite obstacle here is racing with a friend through a giant inflatable course. It's $20 for an hour. They recommend you buy their $2 socks, but nobody seems to care if you wear your own.
