So I was sitting in the hot tub at home .. letting the bubbles eat away my sore muscles and was catching up on social media “stuff”. And I realized that it had been 5 years ago I did a review for this gym . Giving it 5 stars but not really saying much as it probably was the first week. It was awesomely set up and amazing people owned it. It has now been years 261.71 weeks (Thanx Siri)...the longest I have ever committed to anything remotely healthy aside from my relationship and our business. I can say LoUdLy ...It is not just a gym. It is an environment in which you can change whatever you want about you. It is a place for you to not only grow or tone without judgment, but also work on the spiritual aspect of being healthy. The growing staff of trainers and instructor instructors are there they have food coaches, yoga instructors, nutritional class nights and more. All in an amazing facility that has easy access off the hi-way and western ave. If you have a hard time staying motivated, this is the place for you. I used to worked at a place that had an awesome facility that was free for me to use ...AND I tried .I really did......BUT It’s been 5 years and I know what the reason is ..... this place right here ❤ Community Driven Healthy Choices.

I cannot recommend this facility enough...it's not just a "gym," but a life transforming experience. The energy is incredibly positive and uplifting. It feels like a big family. The trainers are the most knowledgeable I've ever seen, too! You WILL get amazing results here. Love it so much!

I have know Gina at GEvolution Fitness. for 10+ years and I only wish her gym was closer so i could train with her everyday. She has lived fitness her whole life,and knows the world of nutrition better then anyone i know. I have seen her train to be one of the elite women in the Track & Field world, and seen her transform her body due to the weight gain after giving birth to her son, i have seen hef inspiration in the client she has worked with since opening GEvolution. If you are willing to follow her lead, you can't follow anyone better to lead you to achieve your fitness goals. If you want to climb Mt Everest, or bike across America, lose 20lbs, or just be able to run your first 5k your in good hands training with Gina and Rick.

Committing to myself and joining GEvolution is one of the best decisions that I've ever made! I've had the privilege of being part of this culture for just over a year now. I'm currently attending small group sessions and a weekly semi-private session. Everyone here is extremely supportive. Due to surgery & recovery, I've required some level of modification during my time working with Gina but it has never been an issue...she is very supportive, knowledgeable and flexible. Had I NOT walked in the door to meet her in April 2014, I can't image where I'd be right now (oh wait..I know!...I'd be on the couch!). Please do yourself a huge favor and check this place out!

GEvolution is a terrific EXPERIENCE, not just a gym, as many of the other reviewers have mentioned. Not only are Rick & Gina incredibly high-energy, inventive, and fun in designing their workouts, but they've done an amazing job of creating a real community at GEvolution. I was blown away my first time there by how friendly everyone was and that great energy has continued as we've participated as a group in 5Ks, parades and community service projects! If you're looking for challenging, fun workouts that you won't find anywhere else in Central Maine, AND to make some new friends while doing so, definitely join the GEvolution Team!

After a single visit I was hooked and it's been over 2 years and I hate missing even 1 day. I primarily attend the strength and conditioning classes and every workout is different. If you feel nervous at all about working out this is the place to be. The coaching staff provide the guidance and support you need to be confident in every class. The team around you is welcoming and energizing. We have so much fun together and I can't imagine not being a part of GEvolution. There are exercises and classes for all levels and so many fun opportunities to try new classes or new types of training. You can also add nutrition, yoga, TRX, strongman just to name a few. Truly amazing owners who are dedicated to giving you the best experience. You won't be disappointed.
