I am a member of this planet fitness. They people are very nice and helpful. Their tanning beds are always sanitized with good bulbs. I enjoy tanning there and using their massage tables. I like the layout of the gym and their locker rooms are clean.

Gym and all equipment is fine and in good shape. They don’t accept cash of any kind which I find to be astonishing. If you don’t mind swiping a card for 1$ bottle of water then it’s no big deal but I can’t bring myself to do it. Businesses should want cash, really boggles my mind.

Bathroom was clean. Gym space was nice. But their water fountains either didn't work or were really short. At my local one (in Farmington hills, MI) I can fit a tall water bottle under the fountain. Not here.

Bought my membership here despite the bad rep many friends gave me . Has turned out for the better for me as it's a excellent gym to work out, lose weight, and not fret over getting judged by the macho body builders. Managed to drop 25lbs and bulk some muscle in just over 2 months using their smith machines.

Place has no concern for their customers, bought membership for my daughter, over the phone. She is now working 13 hours a day and lives about 1 hour away. They will not let me cancel over the phone or on line. they require a certified letter costing me more money and time. If I can sign up over the phone, I should be able to cancel over the phone. I've belonged to many clubs first one I have ever heard of that tries to make it difficult to leave.

I have to say that I am very very impressed with the changes at this Planet Fitness in the recent months. The new manager at this location is amazing. He takes the time to know his customers, remember them, and to assist them in order to make their workout experience the best it can be. Planet Fitness made a great decision when they decided to put this guy in charge. With the staffing changes he has made this gym is back on it's feet! I applaud the company on this positive change to make me feel that I am truly valued again at this Planet Fitness.

Typically has been a good gym except the wifi like other people have mentioned. If you have the better membership you can bring a guest for free. Really annoying that depending on when you go they have "new policies they enforce" today my roomate and I went at 4:30am and this new policy they have is to see the ID of your guest and so he turned us away and I live fairly far from this location. Couldn't even give us a one time hey next time you need your ID. Yet, the guy said they "started the policy a week ago" so annoying.

I went in today to sign up for a member ship. They lacked customer service the muscle milk guy had a jacked up attitude and so did the girls. When she handed me my id she had her back faced towards me and my id in between her fingers like a cigarette as she carried on with her conversation. Didnt even say here's your id . i only noticed it beacuse i looked up.

DO NOT give this business your money. They are crooks. My husband and I were told we were signing a 1-year contract backing in February. At the end of the year, a few months before the contract was to end, I called to make sure it would expire automatically and there was nothing I needed to do to stop being charged past that year. The kid I spoke to made it clear he had no idea what he was talking about and all he could tell me was that it should. So, stupidly, I trusted him. Fast forward to February, a year later, and we wake up to the same monthly charge we've already paid for a year. Upon calling them to ask why in the world our contract was continuing, we were told the only way to cancel is to go in and end it and that there was nothing to do to get our money back for the month. Completely different news than what the first guy I spoke to said. I fully regret ever doing business with them and I hope much bad-luck comes their way for taking advantage of poor college students. They're greedy, lying thieves, and deserve to be known as such.

I put in 4 applications at this location. Had to call to get an interview a week later. Spoke to Eric and he told me to come in on Sunday @ 10. Went in on Sunday and no Eric. The workers didn't even know why he wasn't there. Finally another guy gave me an interview. And it seemed to go well. I was qualified for it. At the end they said they'll be in touch with me. So on Tuesday I called to see if Eric received my application I had to fill out before the interview. (Even tho I sent in my resume and filled them out online) A front desk worker said Eric would get back to me. So by 6pm I still haven't heard from Eric. I called and asked for him. Finally got to talk to him and all he had to say was "they went another route". And that they were only hiring for 1 position. Then why was there multiple positions on their site? Also after I got off the phone I went back on their site and there is over 5 positions they're hiring for!!! I'm sorry but ERIC is very unorganized and unprofessional!! He never once said sorry or anything! It's not cool when your playing around with a job that someone really needs!!!

The worker named "Cal" never gave me her real name and was using recial slurs towards African Americans. I brought this to another managers attention a few months ago and she still has a job. She is very unprofessional and does not need her job there. Very unpleasant experience every time I visit that particular location. Tall white lady usually wears gray jacket

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GYM. This is the nastiest gym I’ve been to it’s hot and stuffy in there the equipment feels nasty and sticky even after you sanitize it. They have employees walking around the gym just eating junk foods kind of ironic considering this is supposed to be a fitness place. Not to mention the drug deals between members in the abs and stretching room. The bathrooms looked like they hadn’t been attended to in months. They don’t have a very good variety of equipment. It was a complete waste of my Monday night

I normally use the PF on Lowery Lane which is outstanding in every way. However at this one (Bryan Station)... I could not find a working TV on the treadmills. (I tried six) also the remotes do not work for the TVs that are on. Could not find a clean locker, loose dirt and small bits of trash inside. Hopefully after this review the neglected areas will improve. Everything else is great with the place!

I travel all the time for work and am very serious about fitness. I am a member of PF because it allows me to travel and still exercise. This is definitely one of the nicer gyms in the PF line. I found the people accommodating and the gym clean. Word of warning though, google maps will take you into a neighborhood behind the gym.

Everything is great except the wifi. It flat out sucks, it can't even load a simple web page. I'm here an hour every day and I can't listen to the TV so sometimes it'd be nice to be able to watch something on my phone without tearing through my data. The wifi will kick you off every few min without warning so I have to constantly check it and when I'm on it, it's so slow and choppy. It makes for a mediocre experience. (I had to get off their wifi just to post this)

Great place to go for $20 a month. The equipment is nice, but as they need more than one stand up bed and more than one instant bed. Also they need to bring back the sign up sheets for tanning. It makes it easier.

I come every day. I like you can always spray down equipment if it feels like some one forgot to on accident. A tree fell on power lines once so their was no power for 3 days. They had a back up generator to keep the place up and running for us (I couldnt see or hear it). I am impressed by how clean the night shift is. Ladies are always welcomed to join us for a good late night work out. Best gum I've ever been to. I am satisfied. Thanks guys. Take our money!

Started my membership at the Bryan Station Road location in Lexington.. I tanned three times and on the forth visit a staff memeber said oh you need eyewear so had to buy them. Funny the couple before me didnt need them and I wasn't asked before. They told me all I had to do when I joined was pay the monthly membership. I made sure of this .On my second month 39.99$ was taken from my account plus my monthly.I was told it was the yearly membership fee. No one told me about this amd I am not fond of money taken from my account meet without knowing about it first. My account could have overdrawn. I canceled my membership.!! The staff needs to be on the same page.

Love the gym and the atmosphere, went in the shower on a Thursday and there was a wash clothe in the corner, didn't think much about it but that someone may have forgotten to take it when they left. Went back Friday and the wash clothe was still there. Honestly the only problem I've had out of the gym, but with so many people going in and not knowing how many use the showers I believe they should be cleaned daily. Maybe even twice a day.

This place is falling apart! From ceilings leaking, to tanning bed bulb's being burnt out for weeks now. This morning I pull in and all the lights was off. They looked like they were closed. But there was cars out in their parking lot. I go in and it was so dark in the workout area, I almost said screw it. I walked back to the locker room/shower area and it was too dark for showering or changing clothes. I was totally caught off guard and very mad. Hey coperate I have an idea! How about managing these clubs by coming out from behind your desks and go out and do checks on your stores unannounced! Also why not contract local 24 hour businesses in Lexington to get lighting, plumbing/tanning, water- fountains, and other issues fixed. This past mid summer I parked on the side of PF! I found a spot where I could get my car in away from broken tree limbs hanging low, trash, and a untrimmed hedges growing into the parking spots. The hedge looked like it had not been trimmed or deweeded in years. I'm the kind of guy that puts my money where my mouth is. So I went home and got some of my equipment and cleaned it all up myself. I did point it out to management about not being able to get into parking slots. Their excuse was they didn't own the lot, therefore it was the owner's responsibility to take care of the outside. It's probably the leasing owner's job to repair water fountains, pick up trash in the locker rooms at 10:00am, fix frayed cable pulleys, burnt out tanning bulbs, roofs leaks, and the lighting going out! Hmmm. Hey I got an idea! Why not have one of the minimum 3 workers behind the counter, that's either on their cell phones, or out front smoking, pickup parking lot trash. Oh!!! Did I mention one water fountain hasn't been working for weeks now. The same one that's gets repaired and works for about 2 weeks and goes down again. The other one has always had low water pressure. Don't worry about it! Water is over rated in these gyms. Note:After I made this post, one of the water fountains wasn't working! Today it's on but the picture I put up on here is the water pressure it's putting out. As you can see it's very little. And the beat go on and on!!!

I just wish there were more locations around town and closer to me because I hate the drive but I love the gym. I hope their corporate hq brings more PFs to Lexington!

Nice new machinery, but they have outrageous prices and need way too much info about your financial securities. They want banking routing numbers and account numbers. Credit cards, social securities. They care more about price gauging new customers than really helping with your physical fitness.

Not a bad gym if your looking for a cheap membership. If your a heavy lifter tho you may want to look into another gym. I only go here because it's a 5 minute drive. Cancelling my membership soon and joining a gym with more free weights, bench, squat rack etc. They are really strict about the dress code here too so that gets annoying.
