They're just OK. Nothing special but decent. The place is kept clean. There are plenty of cardio machines. There's a decent selection of free weights and machines. The mirrors in front of the squat racks don't go all the way to the floor so you can't see your form. The stretching zone is really small and people usually use it for their workouts instead of stretching. You'll get kicked out of the HIIT zone if there's a class. The website/app doesn't work for this location and probably never will.

Trying to cancel a membership here is absolutely miserable. The way the staff and managers handled the cancellation is enough to make me never rejoin or tell anyone to join. You can only cancel when or if a manager is there and available. Which means, you have to work around there schedule. I have gotten zero documentation from crunch saying my membership has been cancelled even though one employee and two managers are saying they have processed it. Absolutely ridiculous that I cannot get anything via email or in writing and horrible customer service with wanting to cancel.

Joining Crunch was the right decision for me. The gym has everything i need, and the staff is awesome. In particular, Anthony stands out as someone who really takes pride in his job and helps to create a comfortable environment for the patrons.

There is no Crunch in Newport. Phone number provided is for Florence Kentucky I think it’s a trick to get you to sign up for the Planet Fitness that’s there (a trick by Planet Fitness not Crunch) (PS don’t do it, crunch is better, I’ve used both before) I edited the review to 5 stars because I really do enjoy Crunch as a business, just be sure to call in advance if you are ever uncertain if the place is open or not

Great gym overall, kept clean, and equipment is in good working order. Only issue is there is existing staff and trainers from LA fitness in Bellevue training people and working out in the Crunch gym causing issues. People like myself quit LA to get away from these individuals and they are now at Crunch. Annoying.

I canceled LA Fitness and signed up at the crunch in Newport KY. This is a very new club and when I signed up, the manager Jered sold me on the cleanliness of the club. I can say maintenance has quickly deteriorated. The bathrooms are routinely dirty and the paper towels empty or not functioning. I didn’t realize I was going to be charged a semi annual maintenance fee (on month 2 I believe) and why isn’t the gym being maintained. It’s a small club and I come during the afternoon semi peak hours when it should be cleanest and highest maintained. Mentioned bathroom cleanliness to mgr a couple weeks ago also. Can I give this place no stars? Where do I even begin in what a horrible gym and horrible experience this was for me? I regret ever even thinking about joining this gym. How about the fact that it’s not in a safe location especially after dark, defeats the purpose of a 24 hour gym. And there are no working lights directly in front of the gym or outside security cameras. My car window was busted and my purse stolen out of my car. So much for thinking my belongings were safer in the car then in the gym lockers. Then I was over charged for the month and charges on the wrong day then I was originally told I would be. Don’t bother calling to speak to a manager because they never return calls. I don’t think they even check messages to be honest with you. I had to go in person and hunt the manager down. Then he said he fixed everything and even made me do a whole new membership. My money was refunded. Then a few days later I show up to work out and same manager confronts me, puts me on the spot, very awkward and uncomfortable! Saying I owed money. Like what?! I reminded him how I was refunded. He says everything will be taken care of and that he will personally take care of it and call their financial institution. He also assured me the lights have been fixed in front of the gym which they weren’t! So a few days pass. I tried paying my water bill and my payment was declined because yet again Crunch charged me and over charged me for the same month. OMG! I had to borrow money to keep my water from being shut off. My account keeps getting overdrafts because of this and it’s preventing me from paying other bills. So I call and call and call for 4 straight days. A manager is never in or available. So I contact the district manager located out of Florence and I’m even given his personal cellphone number and called twice and never got my call returned. 4 days go by still no returned call. So I call Newport again and am told the manager isn’t there. How is there never a manager there? And most of the time the ppl who answer have attitude. So I started going off and all of a sudden the manager was on the phone. After I was told he wasn’t there. Really? So I explain everything to him and all I get is a bunch of I’m sorry. Like I’ve already heard this the 3 times YOU messed up? My water was almost disconnected because of this morons. He claims everything was fixed and this and that. We shall see because I have a feeling this is going to be a reoccurring problem. And there is no way other then email through the website to contact someone at corporate. That’s extremely impersonal and suspicious. Seriously avoid this gym and run, run away as fast as you can! I had to hunt the manager down more then once. Calls are avoided. Messages don’t get passed. The only person who seemed knowledgeable at this location was someone named Anna. And how she’s not in management is beyond me. Because the manager they currently have is literally a complete moron!!!!

Good gym. I enjoy every time I workout here. The staff is always friendly and the gym is always in clean shape. The people who workout here are friendly too, its a very nice enviorment. I really reccomend going, and the prices! you can not find a 24/hr gym with all the equipment they have for the same price, it really is a steal!

Very little improvements in this shopping center. The buildings are very old and antiquated inside. This doesn't begin to compare to the Pavilion. I guess that's what you get when big conglomerate commercial property investors come in and are too cheap to spend money to fix the place up.

Great facility, top of the line equipment, plenty of free weights to go around, very clean and maintained. I like the new color scheme and style compared to the original, and the new red light treatment is definitely worth checking out.

I love this gym! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. They are very helpful if you ask about an exercise or machine. (They don’t make me feel dumb!) They have a ton of great equipment. I am excited to start taking the HIIT classes. The tanning beds are clean and actually make you tan unlike other gyms. It does get pretty crowded so if you get nervous like I do, try to go at non peak times.

This gym was tight at first but now it’s turned into planet fitness 2.0 because they got this garbage music going 24 hours of the day and it’s equipment just isn’t that solid.

My fiance and I absolutely LOVE Crunch Fitness - Newport! The staff is so inviting and facility is always so clean. The main reason I switched to Crunch is because they offer a variety of workout classes. From Fat Burning Pilates to Zumba, Yoga, and Cardio Tai Boxing, I love that I can switch up my workout routine with something exciting. It doesn't even feel like I'm working out because I am having so much fun!

Newport Crunch Fitness is definitely my fav gym in the NKY area. It’s the most recent built gym, has the most updated machines and equipment, and it has LOTS of space so you can just do your own thing wherever you want.
