I dont leave reviews often, let alone a bad one, but my experience today really moved me to leave one. I've been going to Anytime for 8 years or so and I have loved the environment and have told anyone who was considering join a gym to joined Anytime because of the cost and the convenience of 24 hours a day. Today my 15 year old brother, who is going out for track at DCG this year, wanted to start working out to get a little bigger. The club manager approached me (after we had already been there for an hour and she'd seen us working out) and said "We dont allow kids on the carpet." First of all, he wasn't unsupervised or screwing around as I was with him the entire time, not to mention he is not a kid. She didnt ask his age, just assumed and he wanted to leave after that because he felt like he was too small to be there and would never get any bigger. There wasn't even an apology, just a sarcastic "Okay" as if I just making this up. I'm passionate about fitness and a firm believer that everyone has to start somewhere and shouldn't feel like that they cant go to the gym because they dont belong. I will be canceling my membership, as there's a thousand gyms to go to, and will no longer refer anyone here. Being a small business owner, I hate to speak poorly of other businesses, as we all work together to make a better community, but this was just rude and unnecessary.
