Matthew the Assistant Manager was very helpful with my membership issue. Gilbert and Zachary are great trainers and the facility is top notch. Definitely worth paying a little more for the amenities.

I've played professional sports. And in one word that I can describe this place is —vacation. I love Lifetime. Lifetime has everything you can wish for, on any level. From Pro levels to just once a week dance class. I genuinely feel privileged to have an opportunity to work out here. And yes, the staff is super helpful most of the time; plus-minus, some front desk staff that can skew the image into a negative one. If I can suggest anything it would be—please, select front desk staff with little more attention to details, sometimes the feel like cops/bouncers and they make you feel unwelcome to the club.

I don't know what the deal is, but every time I come here it reeks. Like someone has been microwaving fish. And it spreads throughout the whole facility. I don't know if it's the café or what, but it stinks. Super nit picky but I seriously can't get over it. It smells so bad! If that wasn't happening I'd have no problem with this place. Everything else is great.

Honest review. Lifetime employees will hate me and you most likely will thank me. Nice gym, obnoxious amount of people. Even more obnoxious pricing. If you are thinking of joining, know this: to join they will tell you a sign up fee. It can cost over $200. If you tell them that's too much or if you're lucky they'll tell you there's a deal for $89. I am an independent trainer and have access to many gyms so they waved that fee completely, although it was still a bit shady. Monthly fees are $60. If you are looking for a trainer.. call me. Because these trainers spit out the same programs over and over regardless of the visable muscles imbalances many clients I noticed had. Of course there are some good trainers (looking past the steroid abused men) but it is not worth the $100 + you'll pay. Personally, me being trained under a former Mr universe and pro sports trainer, I don't charge half of that. Don't be scammed. Unless you are exceedingly lazy and will pay more for less this gym is equivalent to the overpriced whole foods chain.

8+ years and still love it.

Just signed up for a gym membership. I absolutely love this place! Mr. Cacaj signed me up and told me many perks about what Lifetime brings. Seems like there is new equipment coming in and had to wait on a specific machine to become available but hey there are many more of the similar machines in the works being installed. I asked about summer programs and many of the employees have reached out to me almost right away to explain them and what they had to offer. Many people only leave reviews when they're upset so I figured I add a great review. People do need to realize that this is a great gym with many perks especially when you have children! This is not a resort. But pretty awesome place to come to right after work.

Their business practice is so low that it is unfathomable. I went there once to check the facility out and did not sign with them. Then they fabricated and forged a contract of mine with a forged signature and then has been harassing and threatening my family for several months. Then we went to talk them four times and every time they promised to fix the issue but never did. They keep sending threat letter claiming that I own them over $1,000. Will file a consume complaint against them.

I have been a member for 15 years. I really appreciate the fact that whenever I have filled in a feedback form changes have been made to improve the gym. I appreciate the availability of this gym at all hours of the day and I am glad that they close the gym for their employees during holidays. This gym is usually very clean and if something is amiss they take care of it quickly. They really do their best to stay on top of exercise trends to keep the place stocked with useful equipment and they also keep basic machine equipment that allows for individuals recovering from surgery or injury to also get a safe workout. They also have personal trainers that won't injure clients with a history of spinal injuries and actually pay attention to your exercise and strength goals. Employees are always friendly and helpful.

Latorra Osinachi

I love this gym it's so convenient. It has many amenities you can utilize. And the fitness classes are amazing, and I also love the fact I don't have to wait for a treadmill or other equipment. And the associates are very helpful in assisting me when ever needed.

Denise Flynn

I'm part of a group that books the gym once a month and pays for it. They have double-booked the gym again and we were the ones that were in able to use it. Don't think I willwill partici in this again

basil ALMURANI

Absolutely love this place! I just moved here from Cali and I must say this gym is top notch. Definitely beats L.A Fitness and their terrible gym and not to mention you can't even use half of their machines because there always malfunctioning. Staff is amazing and its a super friendly enivironment.

maherjarbou1

This gym has been going down hill for the last 5 years all the new equipment makes no sense, its uncomfortable and has too much padding, I'm convinced the people making decisions on the equipment coming in have never worked out a day in their lives or have done no testing before purchasing them, its y most of the people that worked out here left to other gyms, only thing left now is kids. It's become a sorry a$$ gym

Paige aldrich

The staff here has been so good to me. It's so refreshing to have a positive experience with people!! They went ABOVE AND BEYOND my expectations! Thank you LTF Staff. Especially Heba! I hope that's how it's spelled

management, due to corporate direction, is deceptive and problematic. focus is on extracting sales from gullible clients and members rather than a clubike atmosphere. it is overly sales driven, looking to nickel and dime members for often ineffective products and services like ineffective heartrate moitors, supplements etc.

Justin Larsen

I don't understand how an $80 a month gym can have so many foam rollers that are squished, two set of dumbbells that haven't matched in at least 6 years (75's and 85's) a missing 60 pound. Maybe this will finally get someone to address it.... Its a good gym, but the remodel coming is a sad example of how lifetime follows "trends".

Love this location

Staff are very rude, lazy, and unhelpful, same with managers, equipment is old and frequently broken down, the building itself is very poor in cleanliness, day care workers ignore the children and let them do whatever they want whenever they want while the staff play on their phones or use the work phones for personal calls or play on the computers that are supposed to be for the kids, kids are frequently injured in the day care or get in fights or trash the place or drench themselves in water from the sinks and water fountains because the staff ignore them, the outside play area for the day care is rarely open during the summer no matter how nice it is outside, prices for massages, cafe food and drinks, hair cuts, personal training, and fitness classes are ridiculusly expensive, the cafe food is very small portion sizes but very expensive and it all tastes horrible since they've gotten rid of anything with sugar or carbs in it, membership fees are outrageous, managers do nothing when members voice concerns/complaints and do not discipline rude and lazy staff, they constantly raise membership rates and bombard you with ads to sign up for unnecessary and lame but also very expensive programs, the trainers will charge you for classes during the free trial and not tell you, the pool slides are rarely running and the life guards yell at you for everything when they're not ignoring the members in the pool, avoid at all costs!

Emily Anderson

I am really dissatisfied with the lap pool hours in the evening. It's essentially closed the entire evening : 5:15-8:45 for swim team. Used to be till 8:30, and I was very unhappy when I arrived the other night- because I wait the whole evening to go until swim team is over, when I'd much prefer to go right after work but can't because of these restrictions- and found it is now 8:45. At a minimum- at the bare, absolute minimum, your staff should be actively enforcing rules for the one lane that is left open, which I have continuously seen been given away by swim coaches or have seen people using it for water aerobics- sign says no to that. Also why are kids working out that late? Really disappointing how much the lap pool is closed for how much I pay per month.

Kai Blakesley

This place was a joke. They would not let me cancel. I moved to a different state and they said they couldn't cancel over the phone that I'd have to come in in person to sign a cancelation form. They ended up charging me an extra $150 before they finally let me cancel. Much better off going to a less fancy gym that has some integrity.

Alex Lee

I miss this place. I loved going here when I lived in Troy.

Love the club!

I have had a terrible experience with Lifetime Allen. I have been going to Lifetime for 6 years and never had an issue until recently. I understand that all buildings and facilities need constant upkeep. This location however, was not updating equipment or the facility, they did a complete remodel. The remodeling is extremely disruptive so I decided to cancel my membership. I have been trying to get into contact with the general manager, Destiny for months. I called her on May 18th and left a voicemail. I did not hear back from her. I went to the gym to talk to her but she was not there. I got her email from the gym and she finally called me. She told me to go online to cancel my membership but I was unsuccessful. After getting into contact with her again, she says that cancellation is not an option since I signed a contract for one year. I have been using lifetime on and off for 6 years and have never cancelled my contract. This time I was frustrated with the construction. If I was never able to cancel my contract, she should have never told me I am able to in the first place. The contract does not include that remodeling is going on and to pardon the mess temporarily. Had I known that, I would have never signed the contract from the beginning. I think the way they are handling the situation is completely unacceptable for a business.

The 3 star review serves correctly for this club. I was a member at Kansas Coty location and I had similar experiences as a lot of people here. Though I love the equipments and concept in principal, I promised myself not to join ever again because of strange policies that are not completely disclosed when signing-up, reservation of Pool for swim classes, reservation of equipment and areas for spin classes and personal trainers etc. Overall it is too complicated for a normal person with 2 kids a job and hectic life to use.

Samir Fazle Rabbi

24-hours fitness, locker room towels, indoor/outdoor pools, sauna, spa, adult monkey bars, renovated everything, flexible and available childcare, tons of other perks including the ability to visit any LTF facility nationally. This is the best standardized sports/health facility; there may be some boutique locations that are competitive, but they will not have multi-state locations. The price is reasonable considering all of the amenities including onsite cafe, grooming, etc. You can't pay to get results though, that's on you. We enjoy working out here. LTF is the premium brand in the sports/fitness market.

I think some of these comments on here are pretty comical, mainly the bad ones. I think it's interesting that people complained about sales staff. You do realize you only need to see them once, right? Why would you need a 'trial' membership, walk around the place, it sells itself. Signing up is a formality, this is bar none the best gym I've ever been too. I've been going to Lifetime for nearly 15 years, and I LOVE it! They have raised the fees a little over the year and that's fine with me, you get what you pay for in life. If your concerned about high fees, go to Curves, Cardinal Fitness or LA Fitness. The gym has an indoor and outdoor pool, and the best child center I've ever used in a gym. If you have small children it's hard to beat this place. My kids LOVE going to the play area, they hated the play area at LA Fitness. The people that staff the day care area are wonderful, my kids' know many of them well. We spend a lot of time at their outdoor pool and it's one of the kids' favorite things to do in the summer. The staff is wonderful, I know many of the trainers and even the GM DJ and he's great. The Café is a little expensive, but the food is healthy and I eat there often. Lifetime isn't just a gym, it's a way of life and I think they are at the top of their business.

salman azharuddin

Nice staff and nice swimming pool and nice gym and basketball count

Jonathan Tuttle

Best gym in suburbs by far! There is absolutely NO reason to look at any other gyms in the Naperville area...). Incredible value, well maintained, very friendly staff throughout, convenient cafe for a quick grab of healthy food, and they always have the top equipment and keep up with the newest fitness trends. Also, Stephen Zarate was very accommodating and provided fantastic guest service, above and beyond. That's how a well run business should be. Looking forward to the upcoming River North location!

Emily Lambillotte

I would give them zero stars if I could. I decided to cancel my membership within the first week of signing up. I was told that you could cancel within the first 14 days of your membership to receive a full refund. It has been like pulling teeth to get my money back. Two days after my 14 day trial ended I got a call from the man who sold me my membership in the first place saying my cancellation was never processed. I followed up with him later that day and he told me he had sorted out the issue and I would be receiving my money on April 1st. It is now April 2nd and not only have I not received my money back, but they have also charged me another 60 dollars in monthly fees. I called today, quite flustered and asked to get the issue resolved and they told me there was nothing they could do to return my money back to me until the man who sold me my membership was back in the office. They now owe me close to about 200 dollars and I am not even a member there anymore. SIGN UP TO ANY OTHER GYM BUT HERE PLEASE!!!

Clean, open 24hr, staff is always super helpful, lots of work out options, friendly to people of all athletic levels.

Damian Caruso

Friendly and professional staff. Facility and equipment always well kept. Great experience!

Kelsey Carter

I see a lot of negative reviews, and I don't see why. My experience has been fine. The locker rooms are very clean. They provide a lot of things that I didn't expect, like shampoo/body wash, which is actually pretty nice. I take complete advantage of that instead of hauling my own back and forth. The trainers are great. They seem to know a lot. There's a little bit of pseudo science floating around that they try to sell you on, but I just ignore it. I can always get access to the machine I want. I participate in the group "personal" training classes, which are expensive, but I'm learning so much. My class has only two people in it, which is a really good value compared to actual personal training. It's very conveniently located. I wish that the parking lot didn't have a stupid round about, but that's not really worth complaining about. The pools are really nice (there are three!) and there aren't too many kids. I hate kids at the gym. Overall, I've been very pleased with the condition and quality of the equipment and staff and will continue to go there.

Adrienne Saxton

Very nice facility & helpful staff. Lots of machines & so far I have not had to wait for a machine... however, it is often very crowded. The childcare center is big & nice looking, however, the ratio of staff to kids is poor (1:12)... so the place is kinda like a circus a lot of the time. However, it's only $6 per month per child, so I guess they have to keep the ratios like that to keep the price so low.

This club excels where most other clubs fail. Kim, the salesperson, made sure we were acquainted with everything this club has to offer, and that is not a short list by any means. Lifetime has more classes than any other gym you'll find, at any time of day. And their classes are top notch.

Christopher Grossman

Recently moved near this location from Northern Virginia. Can't believe the locations are in the same family. Equipment is dated but worse very dirty, no one had taken a towel to clean them in days. The staff was not friendly. Towels were not as clean. Steam room in men's facility didn't work. Compared to a hotel gym it is fantastic but compared to what I am used to at LifeTime this is a huge step down. Luckily there are other locations nearby here which I will try. Disappointing because my family loved the locations in NoVa.

My regular club is in Colleyville and every time I enter the building I am greeted with a smile and on leaving am told have a nice day but at this location I have yet to be greeted or at the least be looked at with a glad you're here but my main focus is the workout machines are okay kind of squeezed in tight together but they do have equipment overall it's what kind of experience do you want

Leslie Atchley

This place could be a great facility. It could be considered the best place to work out. But the problem is the Customer Service Desk is really in denial of how bad the customer service has gotten. They simply need training on how to treat paying customers. You do NOT get confrontational with polite moms and dads. You just don't. You don't just stare at customers when they have problems and real issues like pay discrepancy, purchased promotional workout offers with no follow through or information, pool rules. The guy with glasses at the Customer Service Desk is horrible...almost offensive. He simply does not know how to deal with paying customers. He treats customers like we are supposed to be kissing his ass. He's horrible. He makes the place suck more than any other employee there. Get rid of him and maybe he will get a hint! The trainers, however, work really hard and are very nice and helpful.

Keshav Reddy

I only go to this one on the week days that have packed traffic, cause the other ones that are much better would be a nightmare to drive through. Limited parking and there is only one pair of bathrooms in the locker room, somehow that hasn't been addressed all these years. Very crowded and they use the squat racks for there Alpha classes, they need more equipment.

Bao Pham

I’m a fan of the facilities but this company is a complete disaster in terms of customer loyalty and service. But somehow they always manage to increase the rates without fixing any of the problems. Even a replacement card cost 5 dollars when you are paying 100 bucks a month to workout here. I guess I will have to take home some towels to offset the price

Very disorganized staff and customer service lacking. I would not recommend this location. They act like you should be honored to have a membership there. They forget you are the customer.

angela nykholat

You would think paying 80$ a month the gym would at least be cleaned properly. Not sure what their cleaning schedule is but they need to hire some maids. Don’t feel safe dropping my child off at the daycare if the gym and shower isn’t looked after properly. Will be leaving. Went the other day and the showers still have hair all over the floor (various). The towels were piled over the counters no one to maintain the facilities properly.

O G

Cons: Club is very clouded during 5-7pm. Free classes are hard to get into during "pick hours" and Saturday morning. Showers are dirty at the end of the day. Pros: Love Pilates classes. Kids' swim classes are great. Personal training secession are great. You pay more - you get better services.

John Liu

The salesman has a lot of tricky and won't tell you a lot. They just want you join. That is it. Don't waste your money. You can find the better place with better money in others. The service is bad too.

Brenda Tovar

I've been a member for several years and never had this happened to me. I went to Zumba class and being that I have my older kids at home I kept my iPhone with me in class wrapped in a white towel not visible to others. As class begins 2 African American guys walk in dance around and leave. I, trusting that Lifetime had ID'd the guys at the front door, thought nothing of it until the end of class when I go get my phone it was gone. Those two hoodlums stole my phone and several other members phones that night. I was robbed right in front of everyone in class!!! Come to find out these two thugs were not even members!! They walked right in stole members phones and walked right out and got away with it that easy. What makes me upset is that something like this happening in a gym like this where I am paying $150+ to be a member and anybody can just walk right in and take your stuff. This should've never happened, but Lifetime Employees let this happen due to their negligence. I tried to get a refund or get some kind of assistance with getting a new phone, but they refused, saying "we are not responsible for stolen items." However they are responsible for letting those hoodlums into the club that night. So they should be responsible. They couldn't even waive ONE month in membership fees to help me out. I spoke with the manager and all she said was sorry they couldn't do anything about it and she actually had the audacity to say "We were the victims too!" How was Lifetime even a victim? They suffered no financial loss due to this incident. I wrote Customer Service and several other corporate people and never got not even one response or apology. They could care less. This made me realize how selfish and greedy this company is and I will never ever refer anyone to join Lifetime Fitness again! They rake in millions every year and they cant even waive one month's membership fee of $165 to help their longtime customer out? Pretty sad, shame on you Lifetime and lets see how long you last with this kind of work ethic. Only reason I am still there is for their classes but I wanted to spread the word of what kind of business this is. I will never see Lifetime Fitness the same again.

Meredith OBrien

I started working out at this location a few months ago. I have nothing but pleasant experiences so far. I have been working with personal trainer John Orr, who is knowledgeable, friendly and great at what he does, helping his clients become healthier.

Brad Shelton

Editing my review from 2 stars to 5 stars strictly due to the night crew (I workout around 1am-3am) they are hands down some of the friendliest and most helpful people I've encountered at any gym. All of them go above and beyond for members. My wife and I come here because they help make the gym a friendly place and it feels like home. Kudos to the night crew.

John Chatzopoulos

I usually wait some time to give real feedback. With that said, this location has been fantastic from Day 1. I made an appointment with James Shammas who handled my on-boarding. He really impressed me and so I decided to join. Hands down best decision I've ever made. This gym is super busy but you would never know it because they have so many different rooms to work out in. Locker rooms are always clean and the employees are always cleaning or folding towels. I also ventured off to swimming. Now I'm not a great swimmer but I certainly wouldn't drown in a pool. I walked up to one of the instructors/lifeguards and asked "what do I have to do to swim like some of the others here?" Now mind you he was leaving, but he stayed for quite some time and gave me great tips. Because of his tips I have substantially improved my swimming ability. I went from doing 5-7 lengths to 40-50 all because he took time out of his day to show me a few things. I want to recognize Jesse for that. He changed my gym experience. I came from LA Fitness and it was completely opposite of Lifetime. Spend the extra 20-30 bucks. Its worth it! You not only get the beautiful facility, but you get people like James and Jesse. And trust me there are plenty more James and Jesse's in that place. You could tell the staff loves being there, and that makes me want to be there. I've lost 15 pounds and I feel great. Finally! I spent an extra 30 bucks a month that I won't have to spend on medications in the future because i didn't take care of myself. Now I want too. Lifetime thank your employees for a job well done. Your gym is great but your people are BETTER!

TONY GIRTON

I was looking for a gym but when there are more 1 star ratings than 5 star it really makes you reconsider. It sounds like lifetime needs to clean up their operations at this location and deal honestly with customers - I hate that this location is only 2 blocks away.

Jordan Rey

Best gym by far.

G S

I have been a member since 2006 and the facilities and resources at this location have deteriorated though the rates have only ever increased. The hot tubs are functional only half the time and the outdoor facilities been broken all year thus far and is only ever operational 60 days at best the last two summers. The elliptical machines and tread mills within the front of the upstairs workout areas are all starting to not actually monitor heart rates, some of the electronic programs are not even lighting up, a lot of machines need to be services and oiled so everyone doesn't have to listen to others exercise. It is has been frustrating to get any of the items addressed locally as local customer service personnel other than at the front walk-in are unapproachable and rude as they also seem frustrated having been approached with the same issues over and over again. There seems to be a true absence of management and customer care to maintain a sound establishment that was once present at this location in the past.

Chris Davis

Lifetime Fitness is truly an Experience! The facility speaks for itself, but the staff make it come alive. Julia has trained a few of my female employees who can't say enough good life changing things about her. And I myself have turned a chapter in my personal fitness goals with John Orr. Thank you all for making my business, my staff and personal goals all stay on track and exceed expectations for 2016!

Love this gym! Great staff and the environment is super welcoming. Glad I switched from L.A.

James Boylan

Solid gym with good services. Between the included services as part of the membership, as well as access to the training areas and the pool, I am fully enjoying it here.

Amanda Fletcher

This facility withdrew over 1,500 dollars in unauthorized fees. No one can help you address the issue, no one will refund the money. Ultimately, after 7 months of constant phone calls and threats of police involvement, they refunded half of my money and gave me the other half in personal training hours. I reluctantly accepted the offer because it was clear they were going to keep the money regardless of what I did, so I took the hours, problem there was the trainer would cancel last minute 65% of the time (I kept record of it for proof.) My family ultimately just quit, loosing several hundred dollars to the facility, and now we are still being charged random fees months after our termination which was finalized at the gym with the manager. Beware, if you even inquire about additional services beyond your monthly dues they will just sign you up and you have no recourse whatsoever, I would highly discourage anyone from going here and if you read down the line on reviews, I am not the only person who has had identical problems. I complained to a friend who attends the gym and does not check his credit card statement at all, but during our conversation he found he has 800 dollars a month coming out of his account and he has a basic membership plan for one person... their response was "sorry you were signed up for additional programs that you were not utilizing...." He did not sign up for anything additional.

Extremely dirty place, men's showers, locker room area smells like mold and urine. Towels (that members are using) used to stop/clean the leakage issues in the shower area for the last 3 weeks!!!??? **Update . Today you guys earned a second star. Showers were cleaned and fixed. Hope to give you 5 stars some day. Captain, walk your "Ship" everyday, corporate visit ready everyday -it will be a win-win situation for you and your customers.

Matthew Philips

when your finished with a towel they always come and pick up the towels and put it in the towel return and always folds the towels perfectly and nice

Frank Taldone

I love this place and everyone I've ever interacted with here has been great. This one is large, and I've never had a problem getting a bench or rack. There's plenty of equipment and enough space in my opinion. The parking lot is massive and the worst thing that might happen is you'll have to walk a little...but aren't you there to workout anyway!?

Lilly M.

This is the best gym hands down. I had a personal training session with Ryan and he was so attentive and went beyond what was expected of him. I learnt so much in that session and will train with him again!

Marcela Sanabria

Best gym EVER. Can't go anywhere else. Allow yourself to be pampered because it's totally worth it.

Kaite Bruning

Not a bad LifeTime the layout is similar to the Plano location which is nice. It does need a bit of an update a few of the machines were broken and the lockers have seen better days but all in all I liked it. Not very busy late at night which I love. This will be the other location I'll be frequenting.

Chris Devor

Even though I've moved out of state this place refuses to cancel my membership! It is run my a group of thugs. STAY AWAY!!!

Lindsey Elizabeth

I had the BEST experience today singing up with Anthony. He went above and beyond to make myself and my daughter happy and comfortable. The only suggestion I would have is not limiting the infant room hours but that’s only because it conflicts with my daughters nap schedule, I understand why it is the way it is. I was nervous about going in today and leaving my daughter in the child care center but I could not be happier I decided to go. Definitely ask for Anthony when signing up!

Michael Ware

Mike, Adam and Ashley are so nice! I highly suggest this lifetime, it’s a great gym with a wonderful staff!

Joe Thomas

Only real complaint I have is the cleanliness of the steam room - I steam 5-6 times a week and at least 2 times per week there is dirt, hair or towels laying on the floor. Not to mention when I go in there and it's dirty it smells like a combination of the urinal troughs from Joe Louis Arena and moldy wet towels that have been sitting around for 6 months.

Matthew Davis

I am kind of baffled by the negative reviews here. I've been a Lifetime member since this Troy facility has been around. I feel like the staff is appropriately friendly, anything more would be a distraction on what I am there to do, work on me. Granted, in the past umpteen years I've been a member, I don't think I've said more than a total of 12 words to anyone there. :)

Jennifer Oliveras

My baby got Molluscom Contagiosum from the day care.....every time i went there she was crying! The day care workers were always holding their own children! A couple times I've seen children left alone...One time a little boy was crying because he couldn't get his pants off to use the bathroom the dumb day care lady was laughing NOT FUNNY! They had to call an ambulance one time because a child got hurt! Molluscum can stay on your child for months she can't go swimming or play with other kids☹ This So called child center needs to be CLOSED!

Paul Shirar

Looking for a gym. The Lifetime Fitness of Allen is only a few blocks from my house. Wasn’t impressed with my visit at all. And after reading the reviews, there’s no chance in hell I’ll be signing up. Might just need to find a good MMA gym in the area or return to Jiu Jitsu training. Those complaining about cancelation problems...small claims court works wonders, btw.

Roxane Calle

Been a member for 3 years now and although some of the facilities offered by this gym are great, I have to agree with some of the other reviews here that the bathroom facilities are not as clean as they should be an are in need of a " deep clean". Also annoying when they take up a lot of the equipment and space for their group cross fit training at peak hours. What is really annoying is the state of the gym on a Sunday morning - like a tornado has been through the weight section with weights lying all over the place. They have cameras in the building so could find out who the perpetrators are but this has been continuing for months/years with no action/improvement from gym management. This is very disrespectful to rest of the members who have to use the facilities in this state - find the guilty party and discipline them for the sake of the rest of your paying members! - not rocket science guys... Other than that it offers many different fitness facilities and is conveniently located for my needs, personally I have not found staff to be rude, maybe a little aloof.

AMGClass

This gym is very clean with great staff.

I have been a Lifetime Member for 4 years now, and with every year, this gym becomes worst. Pros: - Spacious Gym - Basketball Courts - Pool/Hot Tub/Sauna - Nice staff only at the front desk where keys are scanned Cons: - All the pros can be found at other gyms - The sales people/advisors act like teenagers in business attire. They also stare a lot, weird - Not the best crowd have been joining the gym recently. I have seen with my own eyes how they treat the facilities. Also no one cleans up after themselves - Speaking of cleaning. Sometimes no one really cleans up...at all - Staff at the cafe are as well bunch of adults that are rude and act like teenagers. There is some weird culture at Lifetime - Diamond parkings... Gimme a break I just want to say that I have went to other Lifetime gyms, and they were much better than this one, and did not have many of the cons mentioned (Novi, Canton, Commerce) Lifetime corporate needs to take a look at what management has made of this place. It is not a good image

Customer service just asked me to write a letter if I want to cancel my membership, said they don't have Fax machines or emails. They span my inbox all day with lifetime advertisement but can't accept an email or fax for cancellation. Great !

Ian Williams

Very poor experience here. My family went to the pool, hoping to have a great time at the pool on the last weekend before school started, but we were let down. We went to the indoor pool, with 8, 10 and 12 year old kids with a parent supervising. A lifeguard came up to us and said that the kids could not be in there when they could all touch very easily. So we went in the kiddy pool, where the deepest point is about 2 1/2 feet. The kids were just standing in about 3 inches of water, and the lifeguard cane up and said everybody has to be 12 and older to be in there. We tried going to the outdoor pool, but it was far too cold. They didn’t even have enough life guards to operate the water slides, even when they say they are turning the water slides on from 3-5. Very understaffed and cheap. Do not come here if you are looking to have a good time with your family.

Marlean Sitto

Horrible staff lifeguard yell at U for just standing in the pool and stare at u the whole time ur swimming smallest lifetime I've been to Rochester is 30x better and actually treat You like a member hate the one on hall road rude ass people

aeirodynamics

Well maintained, well staffed, well priced and the weight room and rock climbing are AMAZING. they also offer day care for you parents looking to workout. I basically grew up here, such a fun place for parties and exercise!

Rick Cazares

Great amenities. Very clean

This was posted in r/dallas on Reddit recently: OK, so my wife and I have been a member at LTF in Allen since 2012. Yesterday, I was working out on the squat rack, and a trainer came up to my rack and put an orange cone by me. That was it. Apparently, I was supposed to know that this was reserved for her class. Oblivious, I kept doing my sets. Then, one of the students - not the trainer - but a student came up to me and said "We pay extra for this!". My wife and I pay the equivalent of a CAR PAYMENT to go there. So I said "So do I!" Then, one of the guys in her group came over to me, and said "You're done". At this point, it was a matter of principal, so I stood fast and said, "No, I'm not done". I told the trainer "You need to go get your manager right now, because this is bullshit". The same guy yelled at me "Don't ever swear at her again! Don't test me". So, I was threatened at this point with bodily injury by one of her students. I found out later that the trainer was his wife. Either way, this whole thing had gone awry because of a lack of communication. I've been a member there for years, but I cancelled on the spot. I've read about the cancellation nightmares, so I still have to deal with that. We'll see how that goes.

Tracy Sanders

Me and my family love this place so many different amenities that keep my kids busy so I can get a good workout in. Love the heated pools and basketball courts....

Joseph Kharsa

pretty clean place nice staff

Piotr Dragan

Used to be worth the money, but with the children day school going on and dirty areas, on to a different gym.

Back To Health Chiropractic Center

I have been a member here since July 2014. This is the Disneyland of Health Clubs! It is always clean, the staff is beyond friendly, and they have events going on to keep you motivated all the time. Classes run from 5 am to 9pm making it easy to get into one with my busy schedule! Great work Lifetime

John Daniels

Great place and CLEAN!!!

anthony andrews

Best gym ever

Emily Kaiser

The team here is friendly and knowledgeable. The club is clean, and they bring in new equipment regularly. Lots of light and a pleasant place to be!

rleetx

Will never do business with this establishment again. Cancelled membership 2 months ago via certified mail and stopped payment and have received 2 additional charges since then. Ridiculous

Tyler Anderson

The absolute worst. I would never get another membership for any lifetime facilities. I quit using their services months ago, I have told people in person & over the phone, they want me to go in AGAIN or send a letter. They have increased in HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS every few days. I email them and tell them multiple times. BUT NO THE ACCOUNT STAYS ACTIVE. I have it IN WRITING OF THE GUY STATING "NO THE ACCOUNT WITH STAY ACTIVE REGARDLESS unless I go to ANOTHER branch or send them a certified letter. If I did business this way I would have ZERO clients.

Codi Hamilton

It's expensive but I feel your getting what you paid for, gym is always clean and well maintained. Plenty too do!

John Lee

Well maintained with good variety and quantity of equipment organized well enough to make it feel more open and less confined as other gyms.

Lauren Pendleton

Love the club and the resources but I am not happy with the pool and aquatics center. I was told that I will receive, at the least, a credit for the charges for swim that I could not use and Melissa Lehman was no help at all and was not transparent about the fact that I would still be charged for two additional weeks even though I was told that I was not. Just be careful about the services that you sign up for. Even thought I was told that the charges would be terminated, they did not. I know of other parents personally who said Melissa gave them refunds, and there was only one difference between me and them... Other than that... 5 star gym. great place to go with family.

Conrad

Worst lifetime location, go to another club for a better experience.

Duraid Ahad-Daman

I'm a member since 2009, I don't go often but I wanted to take my 3 year old daughter there to teach her how to swim. All 5 lanes taken for paid lessons no place to swim, when I complained I was accused of being disrespectful and disruptive to the swimming lesson. When I asked what is the policy the aquatic manager replied ( we reserve the right to take any lane at anytime !!) She also stated that if I don't don't clear the lane my 8 years membership will be reviewed !! But she also states that this is not a threat!! Paying $120 per month to be told that I can't use the pool!

Mark M

Management changes like the weather in Texas, this tells you alot about the company. They are definately not customer service driven! I have been there for over 2 years as a member and I can tell you from the upkeep of the establishment to the personnel it is very below average! Hince the 1 star. Had there be a zero star, that's what it would have gotten. All the trainers are so stuck on themselves, both friendliness, but they want you to purchase their service. It's kinda hard when you get ignored unless you want to pay them for attention! Pretty sad! Maybe someday the company will learn and change the culture of the gym! Oh and please perform a high dusting and carpet cleaning. ITS BAD!!!

Justin G

The Bad - Like to swim or play basketball? Good luck trying to find a place to do it. The swimming lanes are always taken up by their swim team so if you try and go anytime after 4:30PM on a weekday you will have to wait up to 30 minutes just to share a lane with someone. The basketball court is similar. Lifetime hosts kids camps and birthday parties on the basketball court and books the court for a majority of the day. This place is slowly becoming just a big kids camp and it doesn't really care about the members without children. The Good - Very nice amenities. Better than LA Fitness hands down. Great locker-room, sauna, hot-tubs and steam room. They also have 2 basketball courts as opposed to LA's one. Too bad it's always book for children's events.

Deanna Rogers

Everyone except for Alicia gave me such a hard time while trying to suspend my account. I couldn't come in and sign anything in person so I asked for the member service to email me and it took 5 unnecessary days to receive an email just to put my account on hold. Definitely feeling like I should just go back to LA fitness.

Saad Thomas

I toured the club with Anthony a few nights ago during my search to find a new gym. I looked all over in Troy, Bloomfield, and so on and did not find anything even close to Life Times quality! Treadmills are not even a month old, most of all the weights are also new. I joined today with my family and am very excited to use all of the amenities! If you want to join go through Anthony for a stress free and great service!

Joe Bashe

If the gym is 24/7 so should the basketball court

Chip Beitel

LOOK AT ALL THE 1 STAR REVIEWS. Unhappy with the rate and also charged me for more than the agreed amount. Unimpressed for sure. Only working out here because a friend already has a membership. Looking for a more reasonable rate elsewhere. Added 12/29/2015: I have reached out to your company after trying to cancel my membership and the explanation I received from your District Manager Andy Valderas when I asked him if it was fair to charge me for another month dues when I had not used your facility in 4 months was "As a company, we follow the general terms agreement that all members sign" Even when pressed, he would not comment if it was "Fair" or not. This speaks volumes. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU.

Deeb Dweik

Very clean.. Great equipment and not packed

tony85251

Building interior need renovation!old fitness machines need updates !too many youngster

Venkat Avasarala

Wish I had read these comments before signing up, myself. My experience with the sales team has been purely the Mattress salesmen. They have a nice place to show around they absolutely do a terrible job sweet talking you (probably over-trained). The guy who signed me up promises these bucks or whatever, not even sure what they are worth; Once we sign up - he won't return my calls/e-mails (I am sure he is busy signing up new suckers), and even the membership team doesn't seem to care about the issues. I wonder what the gym is doing for "Customer Retention" - because I don't think they know the meaning of that term.

Jake Luce

Been a member of this club for many years - it is one of the most well-run clubs in the country. The sales staff is well-trained from the very top. Lifetime should be proud to have this club as a part of their fleet.

Sasha Johnson

I love this facility! Everyone is very friendly. I love that evedything is clean and that all the equipment is always maintained, and this location is constantly being updated with new workout equipment. I feel lucky to live so close to this location!

Mike Vella

The place is decent. If it wasn't for the 24hr service and being close to home I'd probably be a member somewhere else. I mean don't get me wrong the place is great but unless you take advantage of all the options, it's not worth the 70+ a month.

Minh Truong

Inseok Dan Oh

Extremely poor customer service. Business purpose of this particular gym is to make money no matter what the customer's complaint is. They should receive zero star. Giving even one star is generous.

Dave Greenhalgh

Decent workout facility however extremely crowded in the winter to where you cannot even find a parking spot, get into a class, or find an open locker. It is not always like this but it did happen several times. Also another turn off is they require you to come in to cancel your membership. I tried to get them to accept fax, email and over the phone and they would not. Just a way to inconvenience you so you do not cancel or they get another month out of you. Too expensive for what you get.....

Carlo Gobba

Boom!

BP T

We used to love Lifetime, even though it's pricey for sure, but we thought it was worth it. However... not anymore...the child care area has gone down hill completely! I cannot trust that my children and the other children are being watched appropriately, whether it's during camps, child care hours or parent's night outs. We will not go back until the current Child Care Department Head is gone- she is rude and untrustworthy- it will never be her department's fault, it's always the parent's or child's fault, basically letting you know that she thinks you and your child are liars. I cannot leave my children in good conscience anymore. When you try to contact the GM of the facility, you are blocked and cannot speak with her, your calls will be diverted and if you go in person she is "not available"...ever. We will go back when things change...unfortunately it doesn't appear that will be anytime soon, especially when you're told they will call you back and NEVER do- in other words, sure they'll accept your money but if you have an issue, you are completely on your own, no one cares (even when it's a very serious issue).

Edward Votava

I was going to join... However, I changed my mind because of the way I was treated by Collin in sales. By far the most dishonest and utterly rude salesmen I have ever met.

kimberly garrick

If I could leave 0 or negative starts I would. By far worst customer service experience I have ever had or heard of in my entire life. My membership was to be cancelled and continued to get charger for the following 4 months. I called a bare minimum of 50x emailed without a single call or email back. Physically went into the location 5 differ t times and each time of I was lucky enough to speak with anyone they told me itd be taken care of that day, or they would tell me there is absolutely no one I could speak to and they'd leave a message for someone to call back... and they never did. Not even an apology or any compensation was given. It's been 5 months later now that I'm still dealing with this and still YET TO HEAR A DAMN THING BACK FROM ANYONE THERE. they are either grossly neglegant to the highest extream or straight up liars and thieves. I will never return to lifetime and epupd urge anyone who doesnt think they'll keep their membership for their entire life to not join . WORST. EXPERIENCE. EVER!!!!!!

Ezzyo ThaRealSuperMan

Great facility, clean safe. Staff are very professional and well mannered. Even the people working out are amazing, friendly to new people and helpful. Didnt get to use the pool but there is always lifeguards on duty being on their toes at all time. People at the front desk are very patient professional and over all have 5 out 5 star "people skills". I came to dallas for 1 day from sugar land. Now considering working or atleast getting a membership at one of their facilities.

Renata Borrego

just canceled my membership with the Warrenville location because I will no longer be close to the gym and they had made me come in to cancel my membership which was not convenient due to me having had a newborn. Also when I went in I had signed the cancel form and was NEVER EVER made aware that I would be paying for an extra 30 day closing month $80! spoke with Adam and he failed to mention this to me at the time of me signing the form. so I am paying for a month that I cannot even utilize the gym. NEVER GOING BACK!

Aaron Kennedy

Good gym facilities. If there is any fault with the gym, it is the patrons. Nothing horrible, but lots of common gym ettiquette is not known or followed. The Gym itself is VERY complete. The staff is good, compared to some other companies. Crowded at peak times, but that is why they are called peak times.

Chris Seokrai CHO

nice place, but bad service. it takes too much time to clean the swimming pool. even the workers didn't know when it will be finished. please complete to clean the swimming pool asap. swimming pool is why i joined this club with my family.

jzhou995

Be aware folks, if you want to suspend or stop your member ship, you have to sign paper work 1 billing month before. You can start any time, but not stop any time.

Jagminder Singh Bains

Some of staff interact with you in the worst possible manner. Rude, dry and unhelpful. And this comes from a gold member of 2 years - only reason i haven't cancelled my membership because its close to my apartment and easy to access during crazy Michigan winter.

Huey Huynh

Nice facility. Good selection of everything you need for your exercising needs.

M P

24/7, work out at my own pace, no waiting on machines, pool, steam room, sauna, clean locker rooms, towels, classes, etc. What's not to like?!

aj z

Unfortunately a select group of patrons at this facility knock off two stars from an otherwise great facility. There is chewed gum stuck in the cup holders of the ellipticals and treadmills, towels are left on the floor in the showers, trash is left everywhere in the locker rooms except the trash bin. The staff does a great job of staying on top of this, but they should not have to cater to absolute idiots who certainly wouldn't treat their home like they do their fitness facility. It's a shame and is making me reconsider maintaining my membership.

Back to Health Natural Solutions

Located right next door to us this gym has it all! From classes at 5 am to after 8pm, a café, full spa...who could ask for more. Staff is beyond helpful and educated. Best all around!

Allegro Con Brio

Great place

Keyon Pittman

Srirajasekhar Bobby Koritala

Love my lifetime fitness center - great yoga classes, nice locker rooms (maybe wipe the floors a bit more and softer towels would be great) - my children love the pool and especially the rock climbing wall. Speaking of the rock climbing wall - the staff at this wall are the best in the whole center - friendly, helpful and informative.

Mike Schmidt

Theres the sales rep Michael - he is trash. The guy constantly tries to one-up people thinking hes better when he really isnt. i cant stand this clown and i truly think he needs to find a new position.

Lisa Sbragia

Extremely understaffed. So the water slides are never open, stupid hours relating to kids not being able to swim. They couldn’t swim inside either. They are short on lifeguards so I guess all the members have to suffer.

Shan Bhatt

I love the equipment they have at this gym. Why the two stars it is to do with the late night crowd, one guy in particular. He is there almost every night at the gym and is very loud and uses vulgar language. Last saturday he almost started a fight with a 16 year old kid and this individual is 24 years. I overheard him telling his friends that he was going to assult the 16 year old in the parking lot so i informed the police. This was crossing the line. I sent an email to the troy gym management with a description of the individual but i have got no response. I guess they are ok with thugs ruining the atmosphere at their gym. They need to cancel his membership ASAP!!!

Arnie Rice Golf

If you play basketball this is not a the gym for you. They have 4 basketball gyms but they use any and all chances to close all but one down for any kids camp (during Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays, Whole month of March cause of Spring Break camps, pretty much all summer while kids are out of school) outside tournaments or anything else they can find. So makes all the pool that actually pay for a membership have to squeeze into 1 court and can't even play a real game, kind of hard to do when 50 people are shooting on 2 baskets. Way to be greedy Lifetime!!

Daniel Farkas

How can you not love this place? I am a Chiropractor and this gym is the best thing I have ever seen for true Health and Wellness. It has helped my family and I become so much more Wellness-minded since we all go there together. If you don't love this place, something is wrong with you.

Doug Davis

Would be nice if the ever answered the phone or even followed up with voice mails. I called 6 separate times, finally get someone to answer then I get transferred to someones voicemail and no one ever follows up or calls me back.

Richard Hunter

Unbelievable customer service. They want your money and want a LOT of it- and then put people in charge that have neither the inclination nor ability to assist customers. Half the items on the cafe menu (Cocoa Nibs, amongst others) are constantly not available. I went in and asked for the manager- I had tried to order several items in January (I know - $9 for a smoothie it’s my own fault) and they were out. Everyone make excuse after excuse WITH ATTITUDE - how hard is it to keep something you can buy literally down the street at Costco in stock that is on your menu? Anyway I said screw it- I’ll just stop getting anything there and will take my meal $$$ elsewhere. Decided to try it again this weekend. Guess what? Don’t have several items I asked about available yet. I asked for the manager- was given some guy who actually said to me “Oh, I can’t help you. It’s not my department and I don’t know anything about it” So there you go. Never again. What a waste of a beautiful - once beautiful brand.

Warrenville lifetime location has changed a lot the past few years, and it’s definitely not a place that I would recommend and I no longer find it safe to use at late hours. it’s more the crowd, clients and members that are the problem than the staff. It has become a place that needs security guards and security cameras. Just this year I had an issue with someone late at night that was intoxicated or possibly had used narcotics, the bathrooms are the worst ever. you will never find a place to sit at the pool since it’s overly crowded and I’m not sure how safe the water is. Today my shirt was stolen off the hanger. so I guess I no longer can hang my jacket in the locker room during the winter. I think lifetime corporate needs to secret check spot all their locations. I’m not exactly sure what your management at each location does but they don’t know how to manage it or don’t care, certainly never available when I need them. I spent way too much money to tolerate this.

Kevin Green

Great gym friendly staff and friendly members, I would highly recommend this gym to others.

Emily Jordan

I'm shocked on all the negative reviews on here! My husband and I go to lifetime four times a week. My husband also runs basketball camps through the Mavericks there in the summertime. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Bathroom area has always been very clean and fresh towels every time I walk in the door. This is not a low time fitness arena. You pay for what you get and I pay for good service. Good Job staff!

james lawson

The staff is always very supportive and friendly. The facilities are more than a few years old, so occasionally they will limit access to different areas for repairs and updates. I recommend learning about their policies before signing up. If something doesn't make sense then ask before getting upset. The staff is always willing to help if you ask.

L L

I love the facility, the staff, the cafe, all the classes! It is well worth it to me!

Rob Conaway

Gym is over crowded. I don't think they limit their membership. If you go at prime time in the evening, no equipment available. Went upstairs to work out, no towels!! Children left unattended on basketball courts... Trainers are rude, and keep to themselves, unless you're paying them, of course. Many non members, seem to be allowed in facility. (Friends of staff)? The main focus of their staff is new members, and current members that pay to be trained. If your looking for a new gym, there are so many better options. This place cares about one thing $. I work out at two different Lifetime locations, the one in Carrolton seems to have a more professional staff, and is run better.

Kasey Huff

wonderful place, but please offer more cooked vegan options in your life cafe. Veggies with nuts, seeds, and beans. Vegan tacos would be good or vegan chili. Besides a smoothie the vegan options are limited. Thanks!

Kamal

I joined LifeTime 6 months ago. While other Lifetime facilities are good too, I really like the Allen-McKinney facility - very friendly staff and awesome trainers! There are so many options available to keep me going with my work outs.... I went from less than 4-5 times a month before, to almost 4-5 times a week working out. I feel good and dropped my %PBF by 5 points since January. Good stuff! Tons of Cardio and Strength equipment, boat load of group exercises...cycling, barbell, TCX, pilates, yoga, etc., which are included with the membership.....as well as team work outs which I recently started, which is pay per month. They are worth the $....considering you get 12-14 trainer coordinated work out sessions per month.

Milk Majer

Most welcoming gym in the area! As soon as I walk in the door I am immediately greeted by name which immediately boosts my mood and sets the tone for my day. The staff is friendly and ready to help you with anything. Their personal trainers are educated and knowledgable. Their child center staff is clean, the staff is well trained and interactive, and they even have classes for my kids. I am a big weightlifter. They have all the equipment I need including brand equipment. As for the negative reviews, is there areas that can be improved on? Of course. No matter how amazing a place is there can always be improvements when given feedback and they strive to correct those things and make it better. I give my feedback to the front desk and it is taken care of every time. I go to a 3 gyms day and this one is my favorite. I highly recommend this club.

Anthony Cahalan

Great selection of equipment

Jackie Dunn

Love this gym. I am so spoiled here. Wouldn't go anywhere else

george mika

If I could give 0 stars I would. Most workers and mangers there are disrespectful and don’t give much care to their members. A lady at the front desk got my account terminated for falsely accusing me of harassment when I didn’t harass her at all. My account was terminated after being a member for 2 years for a situation that got way out of hand for no reason. I recommend LA Fitness where workers and managers are much more respectful.

Ronaldo Tabbilos

I would like to extend my appreciation for the Troy Lifetime Staff specifically: Ali, Nick, Shay, and Alicia for helping locate my Cell Phone and Car Keys on Oct 3, 2019. I appreciated the professionalism and tenacity in helping resolve a member issue that lasted approximately 45 minutes. Normally, most workers would have given up, and provided minimal assistance. However, these workers exhausted every avenue in helping me locate my items, and I am asking that upper management recognize these exceptional workers! Thank You Again! Ronaldo Tabbilos

Jose Vigil

Horrible customer service. Was a member for 4 years and I've been to all the lifetimes in the area and this is hands down the worst. Try bring a friend twice in the same month hoping to use my guest passes but they said no I couldn't bring the same friend more than once. Wanted them to show me where in the contract it said that but no one could show me. Still a member with lifetime but will never come back to this one.

Rockerboy2000

I THINK THIS PLACE IS PRETTY GOOD!!! IM JUST JOINING THE BAND WAGON

Aaron Grant

Lifetime is a great place for you to come for the entire family to live a healthy way of life. If you aren't sure how to do that then they will gladly give you some direction and knowledge to get you started. I reccomend checking out the 60 day program.

Brittany Pearce

I have loved Lifetime for years. You just can't find a more attentive staff with all the amenities provided by the gym. I rejoined this month for the first time in four years (away at college) and I am thrilled to be back! Immediately got training with Ryan Killough and have enjoyed every session. He is attentive and adaptive to my knee problems while pushing me to work harder. I expect in the next few months to see the results I have wanted from my health routine as well as an increase in my knees strength. Love being a lifetime member!

ABEX ADANE

I would like give a big high five for the Plano location. We are a big time fun of LIFETIME a member since 2011 today we went to the Allen tx location got kicked out by the manager Kyle Stephens and yelled at my wife and me in front of our little ones !! Never had a problem with the club policy till Mr Stphens made one up for Allen location !! Good job Budy ! Of curse he promise to pay us back all our money so we won't come back again !! I will be waiting for my $$$ to arrive soon !! Very sad ppl like him work for a great company LIFE TIME

Gheorghe Berdan

The worst experience ever had They are liars Ethan convinced me to pay 300$ for membership and the benefit are LT buks, and after 2 mon5 they disappear and Ethan is no longer working here They said i have used 100 ltbucks for a personal training what i never did Avoid this place....SCAMERS

Quinten Jackson

Love the fitness center for my workout needs. Would give 5 stars but the childcare center brings my whole rating down. Mainly the infant room. You’re advised to make reservations 24-48hrs in advance. Ok, no big deal. Until you go to make the reservations. The infant room as always booked. 24hr in advance, booked sorry. 48hr in advance, booked, sorry. So for the times they are booked is my only free time before work. Why do I have to adjust my life or work schedule for a gym I’m paying for??? Shouldn’t it be the other way around??? If you have infants, avoid this gym until they can walk.

Sohyon Warner

This fitness center customer service is pool. I can't even get a general manager's email to file a complaint. They (Jake and Nadine) were actually giggling on the back ground. What an awful place!

Irida Merpeza

It's not like it used to be...it's crowded and dirty due to the members that go there now. Although it's not a signature club it still shouldn't be the way it is for the price you pay. Now The lifetime in West Bloomfield is perfect! Not a lot of people and it's worth the price even though it's more expensive....they are also very clean ....Now that's a signature club

Sadia Qureshi

BE AWEAR! THEY CHARGE YOU MONTHLY FEES, IF EVEN THEY KNOW YOU HAVE MOVED IN HURRY AND CAN'T COME IN TO CANCLE THEIR MEMBERSHIP. LIFETIME FITNESS MANAGERS, FAIL OR DELIBERATELY NOT GIVE THEIR CUSTOMERS CORRECT INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE. ONCE YOU GO TO CANCEL THE SERVICE THEY TRY TO CONVINCE YOU TO FREEZE THE ACCOUNT INSTEAD OF CLOSING IT. MANAGERS DO NOT COUNT OVER THE PHONE CONVERSATION A 30 DAY NOTICE. WHEN A PERSON PHYSICALLY GO THERE TO CANCLE THEY THROUGH 30 DAYS NOTICE, IN THE CONTRACT, ON THEIR CUSTOMER'S FACE AND COUNT FROM THE DAY YOU WENT TO CANCLE IT IN PERSON. THEY ARE NOT WORTH SPENDING YOUR HARD WORKING MONEY. LA FITNESS IS 3 TIMES CHEAPER AND YET THEY HAVE ALL SAME FACILITIES.

Ryan Harder

This location is busy Monday - Thursday mornings, noon and night. Come after 8:30 pm before 6am if your not a fan of crowds and actually want to do a full workout without waiting for equipment. I love the brand and the amenities

B N

The music is way too loud, especially in the hallways and the women’s locker room. It is tailored for young women and is pure whiney pop. It’s a shame. While the club attempts to maintain cleanliness I have frequently gone into the showers and seen clumps of hair on the walls and the floor. Additionally, though the club has specific policies about talking during classes as well as members claiming places on exercise floors and in the pool, it is not enforced. Feels like high school....

Steven Younan

Patricia Carroll

I LOVE LIFETIME FITNESS! SO MUCH TO DO. IT IS CLEAN AND TOP-NOTCH EQUIPMENT AND PROGRAMS. IF YOU MOVE, YOU PUT YOUR ACCOUNT ON HOLD FOR A FEW BUCKS A MONTH AND A FEE UNTIL YOU COME BACK. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR CHEAP GYMS, THEY ARE OUT THERE.

Julie K

I got a HORRIFIC BACTERIAL INFECTION on my face, head and in my eyes from the steam room droplets from the ceiling that fell on my head. My doctor took cultures and verified tons of crazy bacteria growing in the dish. I have missed work and spent much time in the doctors offices trying to clear this up. I stopped by and talked to one of the managers on 9/6/18. I was promised follow up calls from managers and even the GM. NOTHING AS OF TODAY!!!! We pay over $200 a month for a family membership. Thank God is was me and not one of my children!!!!

kyle connors

Best gym I’ve been too. The gym and locker rooms are always clean and the staff is friendly.

mathew jadan

Lifetime just isn't what it used to be. They even went as far as putting "Diamond parking" in the front for the members that pay more money. It's all about who can pay the most now. The spa is GREAT but the cafe is horrible. The employees in the cafe (Besides a couple employees) are horrible. I had an incident in the cafe where I was getting accused of bringing in fake cards that are whole punched. I mean really? The girls name that was extremely rude was "Jessica." She also lied and said that I left "Fake reviews" which is also NOT true. I eat at the cafe every single day (if not this location than other locations). Also the manager Jason had called me and did not apologize on there behalf. He also said he saw me on camera writing fake reviews. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? None of this is true! Unprofessionalism screams out in my head a million times. I just can't believe I'm being treated this way by a gym that I've been a member for 10 years. I will be reaching out to corporate about this issue as well. This place has turned into a horrible environment. The trainers are friendly and the front staff are also great. However, the cafe and management really made me feel uncomfortable. Definitely unsure about keeping this membership. Many of my family members that have memberships are also considering canceling after hearing what happened. UPDATE: Just wanted to let everyone know that after a bad survey, they called me to terminate my membership. Kind of funny. Also i think everyone should know that they rate each person that comes in on a "Star scale." Meaning the more money you spend on classes, personal training, massage, etc. The more stars you have. I know this because when i started doing Chiropractic and physical therapy at the rochester location, my stars went up from 1 to 3 (See for yourself when they check you in).

I wanted to start by saying that this facility if very beautiful and has everything you need. However, I am very disappointed with their business practices. More specifically with Jay, one of their sales reps. Initially I had called the Troy Location by mistake, I thought it was the one in Commerce, which I live closest to. Jay was the one who answered the phone and introduced himself as a representative of the Troy Location. I asked that I'd be transferred to the Commerce location and he started asking why and what I was looking for. I have bad knees and wanted a pool. After I told him all of this he proceeded telling me that Troy is the only location that has pools and that they are a cheaper club. He seemed nice over the phone so I took his word for it and signed up online that night for only the Troy location. Even though it was a hassle driving the distance back and forth I really enjoyed the pools and the staff over there. Just a few days ago, I had family in town for the holidays. My cousin who now lives in Florida, used to be a member and asked if we could go swimming in Commerce location. I told him no, they do not have pools, but we can go to Troy if you want to go swimming. That is when I discovered that not only does Commerce have pools indoors, but outside as well. He took me to the Commerce location to take a look around. From what I saw it was much better and closer to me. I went to Troy right after to confront Jay for lying to me. He looked at me blankly and had nothing to say so I asked for his manager to talk about the issue. He then said his manager was vacation for a week and that he was the highest in rank I could speak with. I have since called and left voicemails with management and still haven't received a response. In the mean time I have changed my club to the Commerce location and will never go back to Troy ever again. I understand that these representatives make commission, but it is no reason to lie to somebody's face and make them drive out of their way. Also, from looking at other reviews online, I am not the first person that Jay has been dishonest with. Very disappointed that I was treated this way.

This Gym is amazing. The staff is great and they keep the place always clean and picked up

Here is an honest review of the club from a member that has been attending since 2006. The Good: The maintenance staff does a tremendous job at ensuring the machines, cardio equipment and the overall gym is clean and functioning properly. If a machine is down they are very prompt about making sure it is working again. For the most part, everything is kept clean. Lifetime also has an abundance of machines for cardio, weight lifting, spin classes and whatever else you may like to do... there is something for everybody at this gym. Lifetime also makes sure they constantly are adding new equipment keeping up with trends. The Bad: I have been coming to this gym since 2006 so I have seen much change throughout the years. Arguably the worst part about this gym is the trainers. My Husband and I usually go in the mornings a few times per week, and on multiple occasions every time we are there we see Chase (a trainer) leaving his clients to talk to his friend/girlfriend, and follow her form machine to machine. This same trainer will also text and ignore people he is training while training them. If you are coming here for a personal trainer, avoid Chase and Norm. Another downfall of this gym is there are constant price increases. The gym itself is already expensive (~$120/mo for a couples membership) with rate hikes every year or so. TL;DR - Lifetime is a clean gym with something for everybody here. Avoid the trainers, and be prepared for price increases.

I am shocked by their terrible reviews! I've been to many lifetime gyms in the area (mainly Troy, Rochester and Shelby!) All are amazing. They all have there downfalls but they'll all amazing and very clean! I've never had a major issue with staff! Pros and cons of each follow.... Troy PRO..very clean, especially when Alice is working the woman's locker room! CON :no outdoor pool! Shelby: PRO: very clean, great outdoor pool! CON. Sales people and trainees are pushy! Not that bad, but worse the Troy! Rochester: PRO: amazing child center, and outdoor pool! CON: for a tall female, showers suck! I have to squat to wash my hair! (After squats it's no fun! Haha!) Always a line I woman's locker room, which is maybe good because it means business is good! Overall I love going to troy, not as busy, can get in and out and it is very clean!!! GM Jason is awesome, very friendly!

The price is very steep and is the only thing that is keeping me from giving them a 5 star. I wish they had a program where if you weren't going to use the gym for a certain month, you could put it on hold... without paying another fee. But overall it is a fabulous place. I couldn't imagine working out anywhere else. Love that it has two different pool choices. Love that they keep the pool with lanes at a cooler temperature. I feel like I am getting a better workout in when I swim in cooler water. It's also nice that they have a wading pool though that's kept at a warmer temperature. Love that they have not only two jacuzzi's, a dry sauna, and a steam shower. No other gym that I can think of has a steam shower and most don't have a dry sauna, so I greatly appreciate that. In my opinion it is very tidy here. I've never had any issues with the cleanliness. I also love that it's open 24 hours a day. It makes it a convenient gym for a student who has 3 jobs to still be able to fit a workout into her day/week.

T Alt

They will not let me cancel. I have been trying to cancel my account for months and they are rejecting my attempts stating that I have to come into the facility in person despite living in another state. They continue to bill me despite cancelling my debit card. I had to reach out to the Illinois Attorney General office because the situation is so desperate. Please save yourself the grief and do not sign up here.

Mike M

This facility isn't what it once was. For the price you are much better off at LA Fitness. Nights at the Troy location are a bunch of kids talking on phones and not working out. Staff and facility are vapid. People come in and not even card checked, many kids that should be supervised are alone.

Oxana Pushmina

I am not happy with the pool open swim hours and so are plenty of other members who swim often after 5:00 pm. The problem is every day 5:00-8:00 pm kids swim classes take 4 out of 5 available swim lanes. We only have 1 lane to share which is not enough. We pay for the membership and want to have normal access to swim facility, but in fact kids classes occupy the most convenient time and space. I always have to wait for a long time before someone in that one lane finishes swimming and I can get in. In most cases you will have to share your lane with the others. I have sent an email via my LT account regarding this concern, but never received a response back this is why I am posting here. Also showers... Shreds and shreds of hair and left wet towels on the floor is a standard picture I see all the time. I will take pictures and post them here as a proof. I always have to wear flip flops in the shower because of the shreds of hair and those towels situation. So gross. I hope the management will pay attention to my concern as I am not the one who complains about these problems.

I aways enjoy the Life Time Fitness. Staff are great. Fun Place.

I love lifetime fitness! I am here for a conference and was ecstatic to know there was one here I could go to! It has seriously changed my life! Yes, it is a high cost membership but you get what you pay for!! I am 40 years old and my health was extremely bad! Lifetime helped me to get fit, enjoy the process, and the suppor system is amazing! Thanks to lifetime I am soon to come off most of medications (in only 6 months of being with them) and my bloodwork is what it was in my 20's! If you are looking to invest in changing your life for the better, I strongly suggest you go here! It's a resort gym and you get so much for your money! I'm saving so much money in medical bills by getting my body healthy from all this place has to offer! I have read some of the reviews and honestly, every gym has a cancellation policy so know it well ahead of time versus complaining in the end. Read your contract and know upfront what you are dealing with. This is about a life style, not a cheap deal that eventually will leave you sour from your experiences like 24 hour fitness, Gold's, and the other gyms out there!

Rheannon Hansen

This place makes me and my daughter feel like Rockstars.

Timothy P. Martin

Oversold!! Parking spaces and locker space is very time consuming and frustrating when trying to get a workout in. Then the popular classes are over-crowded and they weight and cardio equipment require a good deal of wait time to get on. Not a good value at all. I quit

Dafeng Chen

This site is always messy. Wet towels left to cause accidents in the floor, smelly restrooms, not enough lockers (even before 4pm). The worst is the pool: private classes for kids at 5pm leaving just 1 lane for 16 adults.

i first started going to Lifetime in 08. I thought this gym was so exclusive and different from the average stinky sweaty gym, needless to say the amount of money i have paid to them compensates for the lack of quality service that I receive. There was an incident when my daughter hurt herself in their daycare facility and no one called me while i was working out to inform me that she fell off a toy, may I add that she was only 16 months at the time. My daughter father had called up there and he isn't on my membership, he was seeking info about her incident and one of the daycare providers gave him info because she said she assumed he was my husband... which was never on my account to begin with. I was highly perturbed so I called corporate and they had absolutely nothing to say about it!!!! All they said was "thats against our policy to give out confidential information" but they did nothing about it but told me they were going to forward the info over to her manager and call me back, which they never called me back! They have the most unprofessional customer service I have ever dealt with and they're rude. They answer the phone like they're at home or you're annoying them.... I was highly disappointed that no one resolved the issue. Then every time I call to talk to a manager some liar acts like they are putting the manager on the phone when its only a floor associate. I think they just higher people to fill voids not caring who they are. They lack customer service, respect, and loyalty in this place! They only want your $65 a month and in this case i was paying extra $15 per month for my 2 children. This isn't the only gym in the WORLD. When your CORPORATE office doesn't care that says a lot about the company.. Another thing is they promise you 2 workouts with a skilled trainer .. how about the trainer told me if i want a real workout i would have to pay him $75 an hour.....

Amber Douglas

Well I was going to re join at this location, me moving from Houston, but after reading all these reviews not about that anymore.

Donovin Thompson

Amazing service, usually don't write reviews but today an employee went above and beyond and it was greatly appreciated. He told me he was new and named joey. Happy to see the youth being so generous.

Kimberly Quintana

This spa is amazing! They have weekend and evening hours to make it convenient. Your kids can be supervised in the childcare center while you get you hair done. And Everyone at the spa is amazing. Christine has been doing my hair. She’s a phenomenal colorist!

Tom Kehoe

Need to take better care of the racquetball courts. They let other people in there that are not playing and the scuff up the surface. They changed their website over the past year and regressed considerably. Logging in is a NIGHTNARE. Booking a Racquetball court is impossible online and getting into Racquetball league information like schedules and records is a chore. The bright spot is that the Racquetball league runs extremely well. They have an excellent Coordinator who keeps it competitive and fun. It's the SOLE REASON that I am still a member.

Rahmi Hezar

After reading all the terribble reviews, i am deciding not to go back to LTF. i used to be a member few years back and left because of the way they treat their customers. i was hoping that they changed the attitude, since they are the closest one to my new home. Looks like the same, i would rather drive a bit more than go thru the same. Good luck Lifetime

Worst Gym ever. I’ve had my membership at this location for about 5 years until I couldn’t take it anymore. Starting my workout I’d use one of the PVC pipes they had in the corner to stretch my arms out until some little trainer guy had the guts to come up to me and say “those PVC pipes are only for the training class and we don’t let people off the streets use them” I was about ready to sock him in the face until my friend stopped me. Then recently one day I decided to go in a little early and get my workout done before work until I needed to use one of the 5 squat racks and was told by one of the trainers that they are all being used for class while none of them were even occupied by anyone at the time. That’s when I went straight downstairs to cancel. I tried explaining to the lady at the desk, but it seemed like she was more than happy to cancel my membership. This gym is definitely not worth $75 a month.

Amisha Kumar

The facility is always clean and the gym upstairs is very good but a very pricey membership. Awesome pool and cafe

SkilledWacky

Customer service is great at most lifetime locations and most of the time its very clean. for some reason though the hot tubs smell weird I tend to avoid that area. Otherwise everything is up to point. as far as gym equipment goes its good.

Kristen Ayers

I love this gym it's very diverse and everyone minds their own business. I do think it could use some updates, but overall it's my favorite gym I prefer it over Shelby township. The staff at the front desk are always happy and positive and that makes it just that better.

Nicholas Somberg

This gym will not acknowledge their theft problem.

Michael A

This place really needs to step it up. The gym always has issues with one thing or another . The staff, other than a few great trainers and check in staff as well as salon are horrible. They take these jobs and lack motivation or concern with keeping the gym clean and up to health code. It is mostly the locker and cleaning attendants ,again most of them not all, just could really care less. It's too bad for what has potential to be a great gym.

RoyalBengal21

I was never wanted to be member of this LTF because it too expensive. Even it wastes only I do workout and basketball. That it. So I am currently member at Fitness Connection and satisfied for 3 years. It is $10 per month. No price change or raise so far!

I came here about a year ago for a tour of the Warrenville, IL facility. My biggest concern was the Lifetime Child center. When touring the child care area, I was surprised to know know that in the toddler section, shoes are allowed (even employees). One of the employees, was in the gated toddler section looking super bored and started to "clean up" and instead of actually picking the toys up his hands, he scooted the toys with his dirty air jordans sneakers against the gate. The other two employees where busy gossiping in the front section where kids are checked in (even though there were no kids to check in). This particular kids center, is split up in four section. When you walk in (it's a long kids center), 1. On the left there are sectioned off computer area for kids to play on. 2. To the immediate front right corner there is a very small section for 1 year olds and under that gated off with only bouncers in there and one small chair. 3. Also, on the right when you walk in, after the section for the 1 yr. olds & under, there is a gated toddler section, and aside from the lazy employee scooting toys over w/his shoes, I found a pink round plastic button on the floor. WHICH IS A MAJOR CHOCKING HAZARD for toddlers. 4. The fourth section is in the way back for older toddler/older kids. In this area there where about 3 kids and NO ONE supervising them and not necessarily in eye sight from the front of the check-in counter where the rest of the employees where. Which means if you have a young kid/toddler in the back and you have an older kid picking on you kid you wouldn't know about it. There are also NO VIDEO CAMERAS into the kids center. I go to XSportFitness and at least in there kid care area you an watch your kids on live video from any cardio equipment machine which are all equipped with TVs. After I found pink button choking hazard on the floor I asked the sales guy/"tour guide" to take it up to the director of the kid care center. The female director said they clean up all the time and vacuum. She was also too busy in her office making seasonal goody bags for kids instead of supervising her employees, (no one was really watching the kids). Even though the kid center director tried to reassure me everything is all dandy. I never went back and did not sign a membership here. My kids are my priority and this Warrenville location completely lacks care in the children here. The actions or lack of...speak for themselves, being on a tour and seeing how their lazy employees acted, lack of video cameras...one can only imagine how the employees must act when no one is watching or around. Along with many negative reviews on the internet for this location, if I ever go to this place I'll wait till my toddlers can can fully talk to tell me how they are being treated before I ever sign a gym contract here.

AmazCs

Don't trust these people with your kids. Please!

Beth Everly

The multiple sound systems going simultaneously; p.a. system's music and ads; personal trainers with boom boxes; and the cardio classes opening the doors to their studios while the music for the class is going; its all too much. I can't even hear what is trying to come through my earbuds. Plus the overtaking of the workout areas by the trainers; the constant promotions on STUFF - signs people, ads, etc. , not to mention the smell of cooking food as you enter the building ; its all too much. I leave more stressed than when I got there.

Christian Burch

Always clean and staff do a good job keeping up with the large traffic volume at this location. Staff is friendly and equipment up to date

I don’t recommend this gym. Very over priced

Raping everyone should be illegal. Over 80 a month, ever since they were sold and turned into a "private Club" they went downhill. They have new advisors every week. They treat their employees like garbage and members like a number. The GM here, Jason could care less if you bring up concerns. This location in troy has no outdoor pool, cold jacuzzis and is always dirty. But yet the rates raise 2 to 3 times a year. They really just want to white collar people at their gyms(correction, not a gym. Half the time, the courts are used for personal sessions and events). They also do not care about long time members at all! I could share photos and be much more blunt but go see for yourself. It got a 2 star because there still are not many places with all the ametities

Craig Burma

These clubs are beyond fantastic!!! They are like a spa, community, and support network all in one convenient location. They kept my sons active and fit and provide a relaxing place for me to enjoy TX summers by the pool. I have been a member of Allen location since before it opened and before that in MN Lifetime started there. Used to play b-ball with Brahm on 90th St. Bloomington. He has always believed in healthy lifestyles and customer service first.

Angelica Figueroa

The place is great ! Customer service has definitely improved from when I first joined to now after I rejoined. My trainer Ryan Killough is great and I highly recommend him. He takes the time to understand your goals tailoring your workouts while ensuring you are not getting injured by doing too much too soon or not following through with stretches afterwards or even during if your muscles are too tight to adequately preform the exercise. I had originally left lifetime due to lack of going and a wane in customer service. After being on bed rest during my pregnancy I needed help training my body back in shape. The staff has gone above and beyond to help me out and they are sincere in helping you achieve your goals. Place is kept clean and there is a lot of variety for those that want different workout options.

Pops Bakery

Holy locker room trash explosion! Trash Everywhere And piles of used towels. Good thing I’m month to month because this prolly won’t last long. Not to mention the gym is over capacity with all those classes going at once as well as general training population. As bad as I need the hot tub and sauna. Me and my fam is looking elsewhere.

Jeremiah Reagan

I love this place, management is actually very friendly as are the other sales reps. Its a clean facility with tons of amenities. I highly recommend it.

Greg Cox

My friend Chris goes here. LTF has made him a better human. I’d like to hang with Chris more, but all he wants to do is go to LTF Allen. I’d go, but I don’t think you have a nacho bar. I enjoy nachos. Chris enjoys, “LIFETIME MOTHERF’N FITNESS, bro.”

Elsa Orosco

Nice place but expensive. Too many people in the morning. Mid morning and early afternoon are the best times. So many group classes going on in the morning. Trainers are nice. But will not give suggestions or improve your techinique for free. Sign up for the 60 day challenge and did not get my LT bucks. Trainer did not input my results, twice. I guess because I did not want to do a one on one training session. Trainer is no longer there. There is a turnover on trainers. I did get a message from one of the reps. on my anniversary and asked how everything is going. On Nov. 1st, replied on some questions and have yet to get a response back. My insurance will give discounts on workout facilities. This location is not one. Anytime Fitness, 24 hour fitness, LA Fitness are 3 of several in the area.

I have been a member since 2006. This is the best gym in the area. Thank you Lifetime!

Amanda Gatto

I am a first year member of my Lifetime membership, and I could not be happier with my selection! I plan on keeping my membership through my relocation, and into the future. From the very first time I walked in, I felt at home with my Account Manager, Kim. She was very detailed in explaining amenities, different membership levels, class schedules and more. I also love that the locker rooms are always exceptionally neat and clean for the morning rush before work! Thank you Lifetime, you have a life-time member in me! (:

Kroshka MU

Not surprised seeing only 2.something stars. Long story short: bad experience. They don't inform you of policy or price change, staff is not being trained well, don't disclose all the conditions and payments, sometimes it seems they dont even know what they are selling you. I'd suggest read very carefully everything you sign. What else I "liked" about them? Well, it's always "someone else's fault", and usually a person "who's not with them any more".

Karthik Rangaraju

Worst Customer Service Experience EVER!!! I joined the Gym in Jan 2016, when they had a promotion going on with which I would get 300 LT bucks once I joined. I started using the facility and waited till 2 months and no LT bucks were ever put onto my account. So I followed up a couple of times with the representative who worked out the promotion. He said he will get towards getting them credited. Two more weeks pass, Nothing. So I asked him whats happening. This time I wanted something in written which I can track. So I got him to sign a form which they had requesting the customer Service manager there to credit the account with 300 LT Bucks. At this point in March I felt cheated so I stopped using the facility. Then in April I said I will end my membership. I followed the procedure and went to the facility, wrote a letter for terminating my membership and apparently I was charged for one extra month due to the terms. 3 weeks into this term The Customer Service Manager finally wakes up and send me an email saying she is sorry to see a membership being terminated and agrees to credit 300 LT bucks and She does it. After living through about 6 follow ups with the representatives asking for what they promised when I signed up, with their reaction which made me feel like I was making a big deal of just 300 LT bucks to something like I asked them to sign over their retirement account till finally going through the membership termination process, I felt the management there is just trying to get you to sign up with unusual promotions and hoping you would not follow up and forget. They clearly are not focused on customer Experience. If you are planning to join after reading this review I would do the following: - Get Everything in Writing right from the start if there were any promises made and by when they will be fulfilled. I did that later when I had done a few follow ups. - Read every line you are signing. We cannot just walk in and terminate a Membership. you need to go there in person and write a letter and pay an additional month's fees. Finally, I liked the facility, it was good, but I feel its a package deal, if I just needed a gym any other gym could work. When you are ready to pay a premium you expect Great Customer Service which this facility Lacks.

Q Carey

Nice gym, but horrible customer service. The poor customer service is what made me cancel my membership. I paid nearly a $100 a month for a membership and I was treated very poorly on several occasions. Right before I decided to cancel I have a friend in town and I called several times to see what Options I had to have her get access. I was hung up on several times in a row and never got an answer.

Andrea Amador

Do not sign anything, you will be stuck in contract and dues unless you have a doctor's note. I was told I was a month to month and I had no contract. But now I am getting notifications that I owe them money because they never got a written notice. Even though I paid an extra 30 days without going

Enr B

People is very kind and all the facilities are very clean

Sommer Smith

First week of summer camp was amazing! Action-packed days of activities and crafts, and LOTS of positive encouragement from counselors regarding challenging things such as swimming and rock-climbing. She was so proud that she accomplished those things every day, and told me all about the counselors that were right by her side and the encouraging things they would say. Every day when I gathered her from camp she'd talk a mile a minute about all the awesome stuff that they did and how much fun she had. All of the counselors were super nice and friendly. As for the "above and beyond" moment...on the last day of camp around 9pm, she realized she had left her craft project at camp and we were leaving out of town the following morning. She panicked! We drove back to LifeTime and the AMAZING staff went above and beyond to figure out where camp crafts would have been stored, get that room unlocked, and climb ladders and all over to look for it. They found her project and were so understanding and nice about the entire process. Really appreciate the amazing staff!

For the price Life Time Fitness (LTF) in Warrenville charges its members, the facilities, equipment and rules badly need work. Specifically, LTF has anti-family rules and hours for family activities, and its facilities are hopelessly stuck in the 90's. For just a few examples: (1) LTF does not enforce its Family Locker Room rule, allowing creepy men without children to have access to, and linger in, the Family Locker Room; (2) families are regularly kicked out of the pool because it is Adults Only swim time before 10am (an arbitrary time to begin Family Swim), even if the pool is completely empty; and (3) the facilities and equipment are rarely updated - the attached picture shows a screw from the lockers on the floor in the Family Locker Room, practically begging for an accident to happen. LTF can, and should, do better.

Liz Von Hamon

If you go to the group classes, IT'S WORTH IT!! The instructors are wonderful. I've never been this fit in my life. If you think about it, how much would a yoga class cost per month, or a weight training class, or a martial arts class. You can get all these, plus a gym membership. Take the classes and set a routine, and you're sure to see results. Also, lots and lots of equipment for personal use. Saunas (yes, that's plural) and huge pools that are almost never crowded (only had to share a lane once).

Kathryn Ballard

It seems like most of the negative reviews are from Lifetime cheating people out of their money. I was trying to plan a birthday party for my daughter but prices kept changing. The price I was asked to pay was almost $200 more than I was initially quoted. They are not refusing to issue me a refund even though I have cancelled the party. It was obvious pricing changed based on who you spoke with or what day it was, nothing is set in stone and they seem to make prices up on the fly. Extremely disappointed. Unhelpful and not accommodating. Would not recommend.

Wallaby Jones

Great facilities and I've had positive interactions with Staff. Especially the towel folders. Have to ding a star because it gets stupid busy after workdays.

Tahir Mansoor

Byron at the life cafe is very easy to talk to he will tell you what to get and what is healthy based on the muscle you worked out. He doesn’t just make all the food good but he also has very high iq on the body of everyone knowing what’s best.

Stephen King King

Smh they need too built a bigger and better gym.

Isabella Marye

I normally just go to the Plano location but considering I was in the area I decided to come to this Location. BAD IDEA!!! Everything is too clumped together you can probably touch the person behind you. I came to do back at this location and while using the resistance machine, my attachment I was using was taken TWICE by 2 separate male trainers without asking if I using it and one CLEARLY saw me using it. At least the female trainers had the courtesy to ask. I don't know why they made the TRX area as big as they did and added as many squat/deadlift racks as they did when their other machines are deteriorating, old and rusty. If you can help it go to the Plano location and save yourself the bad experience.

Alan Mansor

This location is only 15 minutes from house but I get lazy sometimes since I work from home and I just keeping working But now I have a friend of mine who I go with and we encourage each other to attend some of the classes. I love the Cardio Kick-boxing class and the Zumba class as well. The jacuzzi is a must whenever I happen to be going at the gym especially if I go there late. The price of course is a little higher than some other gyms but it s well worth it if you use your membership.

Alan Taylor

Good gym. Very clean! Never have to wait for equipment. Love this gym.

Mark B

Been here for about half a year now after being with xsport for five years. Staff is friendly. Place is maintained well. Good amount of equipment. I like that they added more squat racks. I like that they have accessories to add to your workouts that you don’t have to bring your own. Never really wait on equipment. I would definitely like to see this place add more bands that can be added to your compound lifts. Also please bring in the reverse hyper. Concept 2 rowing machines are also a staple here

Tom Jones

So I have been Rock Climbing for many years now and it is something that I am trying to pass on to my son. I loved Vertical Endeavors and all of their staff that was there before apparently Life Time took over the climbing gym. And if anyone gets a chance their place in Glendale Heights is more then amazing. But I have to say these folks that have taken over the Climbing area really do a great job. They are extremely inviting and friendly to all who walk in the door (which was not what I had come to expect from Life Time when I was a previous) and they surprisingly enough know their stuff. My son loved going to this location for the climbing area and because it is so close to my house I am really considering becoming a Life Time Member again.

I love Lifetime! You get what you pay for! Yes, it is a little $, but the place is clean and the equipment and classes are wonderful. They have a kid's club, hair salon , pool with slides, cafe! Lifetime is amazing!

Nisha Keskar

The folks there are terrible. On the last day of 2016, the called me their so called special where I could sign up over the phone for no initiation fees (i had been talking to them for a week and did fall for this gimmick). They promised, i could go do a tour after I sign and if I dont like it I have 14 days to cancel with no charges. Within the first week, i went there and decided, it was a decent place, but not for me. I called them to cancel and they told me I have to personally go in to cancel. I could sign on the phone but have to go in person to cancel...... It does not stop there. I went in on the 6th day from the day i joined and canceled. I have the paperwork for it. A month later now, I still dont have my refund and they send me emails saying my membership fees are due. I tried to call them yesterday to figure out whats going on. They gave a run around all day saying " oh such and such has to look into it and will give you a call"... that was from 11Am to 5 PM. By this time I was really pissed and unloaded on the next person I talked to. They tell me they have no record of my cancellation and unless i ind the paperwork and send them, they cant cancel.... Told them either they had a bunch of untalented employees or they are just crooks and use fraudulent methods to get members . Anyway. Did find my receipt today and have send it to them. But still no response from them on my cancellation. I bet I will have to waste time again and go in person to deal with this... JUST STAY AWAY OR CHECK EVERYTHING A MILLION TIMES BEFORE YOU SIGN

Nice clean lifetime. Not sure why people complain about staff when you really only have to talk to them once when signing up. Great workout area. Bathrooms are as clean as a public bathroom can be and has a very nice big sauna. Lifetime by far better than other gym it is pricey but you get what you pay for.

Great facilities and always clean , not a busy location at night. Worth the money.

Kim Li

Ok, this one is truly interesting. I came here for a trial. The guest services member with his stank attitude, just stands there. I just gave you the pass, what the problem. He clearly was experiencing a bad mood. He throws my towel down and the locker. And, I threw it right back at him telling him that I will not be treated like crap in a place where i wlll be paying close to $100 a month for "quality" service. I grabbed my son and we left. RUDE! Eventually, I will find a good gym, it looks like we will head back to the original gym we had before relocating here which is LA Fitness.

Joseph Miller

Amazing place to be! I feel like it is my second home. I am getting older and this place gives me some of my younger energy. I walked into Anthony’s office today to ask for an opinion on a workout for an issue I have with my back. Not only did he explain it well, he got up and stopped what he was doing and walked me upstairs and took me through it step by step and I feel great because of the new workout! I will be here for life!

John Waldman

Open 24 hours, great equipment, very quiet at 4am!

Mr Nick

My dad came for visit and i told Life fitness to add him to my account and i will pay all of his expenses. Employe told me it will be $55 for 1 month and it will be only 1 month and i wont see anything extra. Its been 3 month and they kept charging me $55 every month instead of adding my dad to my account sneaky employee created a new membership for my dad. They tell you one thing at the beginnig but when it matters they will stick to the policy and they cant give you employee name who created a membership. They have no integrity its a shame such great place run by crooks.

Kevin M

This gym used to be a lot better. As some others have stated, the membership has a lot to do with the unpleasantness. Lots of frat boy type bros that leave weights lying around, acting obnoxious or inconsiderate, and not picking up after themselves. If there is a gym that's close being an overcrowded sweaty dance club, it's Lifetime. I don't have many issues with the staff, but the business model is definitely gone pay-for-play and keeps getting worse. If the membership fees aren't already enough for a single person, Lifetime is perfectly happy to auction off areas of their facility to the highest bidder in any way. Swim classes that virtually shut down the pool, tread mills that you can't use during certain hours, closing the courts for kids events all Summer long, cramming all the machine weights into a small area so they have host cross fit classes, parking spots near the front that you can pay extra for... it's gotten to be a bit of a joke... as in, what around here will I not be able to use next? It's definitely not a dump, but this location isn't as clean or nearly as nice as it used to be. And what's up with this club not having a bathroom on the second floor? Why wouldn't any sort of renovation address this in last 15 years? Kind of ridiculous. If it weren't for pool, I'd probably leave. And even that is stretching it because I have to work around the 3 lanes they take up during peak hours. The upstairs area has plenty of machines, but with classes and music going on out in the open areas (or obnoxiously loud in the studio), it feels like you're working out at the casino... a lot of distractions here. I would probably give it 3.5 stars, but over the years, the things they've done to cut costs (lately the lights have been more or less off in the lobby.. really?) and the things they had added to increase their revenue have almost universally taken away from my experience.

GAD ACD

Service going down day by day...been member since 14 years. Staff is not adequate. Most time it is hangout place for "special groups of teenagers"..nobody is monitoring discipline inside the club. do not know what job those managers are doing..we see many moving around. planning to cancel my membership soon..not worth for the money I pay.

Jack Baker

Professional trainers, nice equipment and very friendly front desk staff.

AL Jiménez

A very nice place to workout

Chase Turner

The Sales Manager, Daniel Lanni, is a complete jack@ss. He lied to me about numerous things and finally threw a little kid hissy fit when I called him out on it. If he worked for me I would have fired him on the spot for his attitude. So much for customer service.

Adel Obeid

Nice place, not bad facility

Aaron Olson

During the day it's very nice. At night the cut down the staff and thing get messy quick.

Evan M

Just as dirty and poorly managed as the commerce location. The entire company needs to clean house and hire all new management.

Used to be a member. Tried to come back today with a seven day pass, that was promised online. The advisor was nice but tricky which has no intention of giving me the pass. All he wants was my commitment to sign up with a prorated price for $45 and nothing else. When I asked for the pass he went and get another advisor then gave me a two day pass. But the new advisor told me to pay more if I want to sign up again $45 + $39 administration fee. Is this how they treat (cheat) a former member of their club?

Mikayla Mitchell

Very unhappy with the staff. Rodney, one of the sales reps offered a deal and I signed with him. He had gotten fired a month later for making deals he wasn’t allow to promise . I signed my contract and they ended up charging me more. They told me it was invalid because he did something he wasn’t authorized to do. After dealing with that issue I had tried to cancel my membership and said I had to continue the membership for a year or pay a couple hundred dollars to cancel . I had gotten a doctors note to put my account on a medical freeze and hadn’t been charged. I had come back last month to cancel my membership and the staff was very rude and continued to intensively pressure me into staying . After they had stopped pressuring me the staff member told me she had terminated my account and I would not be charged the $59 for this up coming month . I logged onto my bank account this morning to do my budgeting and I had been charged for this upcoming month. I am very unhappy with the service of this “High end “ gym.

I have been a member at this Gym in for over 15 years. My mother had an extensive surgery and we were advised that my mother could not work out until the doctor permitted her. We came in to cancel our membership at the Troy location and we were talked out of cancelling them and placing them on “Flex” or suspend. The male member advisor I spoke to assured us that it will not be reactivated until we returned to the gym. Keep in mind this gym charges you $15 a month and I had agreed to that. I found out that they were freely re-activating my accounts whenever lifetime wanted and charged me hundreds of dollars to my credit card without my authorization. I spoke to their corporate through email and advised them that I did not authorize this and their member advisor talked me out of canceling my membership to place it on this flex time off and told myself and my parents who were physically there in his office that the only way to reactivate it would be to come back to the gym and assured that they will not charge our account regular rates unless we reactivate our accounts. They completely blew me off and argued. They treated me with disrespect and after all of these years of being members paying this much money on a gym membership while the majority of my friends are paying $10-$40 at competing nearby gyms and this is the way they treated us and my physically disabled mother. I have not stepped foot into a lifetime fitness since I had initially requested for my accounts to be placed on hold unless it was running into the gym to argue unauthorized charges they kept charging my accounts. Lifetime should train their employees to be consistent in their verbiage not to give your members wrong information and on top of it not to treat your members so awful. When my mothers health was good, we had came to lifetime so many times and built relationships there back in the days. It appears that now all you car about is charging your members without authorization so you can make a few extra dollars. I am so disappointed because I was with communication with your owner before and he is a very nice businessman. Only if he knew how awful his members are being treated. What a shame!

John Singletary

Very frustrating lack of rationale and logic when trying to discontinue membership. Require you to show up in person or write form letter when a simple mouse click by them would suffice after verification of I.D. over the phone or email. Not their policy was the only response given with no attempt to accommodate. I would not recommend them at all. They have all the indications of one of those places that try to get you on their revenue stream and then make it difficult for you to get off. After reading the LTF responses, one can tell they are merely pre-determined canned responses. What a poor way to repair a customer relationship.

Chen Kuei

I have been a member at Lifetime Fitness at Warrenville for a little over a year, yet they have already increased my membership fee by almost 10%. When I first joined, they promised me the same fee for the rest of my membership. I am extremely disappointed by the steep rise in fees. Sad to leave, but I feel mistreated.

John Gergis

I hate this place! The staff are really rude the snacks at the vending are expensive (5$ for a granola bar!!) and it’s 80$ a month like that’s expensive! Over DON’T GO TO LIFETIME!!!!!!!

kapil kolipaka

this place is all about money not customer service and not ethical too

John Oren

I didn't completely fail this b/c if you are a family, and you are looking for something to do together, I think it has value. (It is very expensive) Outside of that, it's just a waste of money. If you are looking to just exercise, I would definitely go to one of the other fitness clubs.

Luba Grassi

That is nice place, but rate is high and don't have any discount for senior, military. That is not fair. I hate to be in the pool when ladies and kids has long lose hair everywhere in pool.everyone have to use a hat

Matt Dolch

I joined Lifetime Athletic in Bloomfield and downgraded to this one because it is closer, that was a mistake. Ok first the good. The classes have good instructors and their is a good selection of cardio and weight machines. Most are in good repair. The bad, lots of things. First off starting in December this place has become a packed nightmare. The weight area is full all the time, forget it if you arrive after 4:30. Weekends are little better... Lifetime has the same model as the airlines, cater to big spenders and the rest can go to... The trainers take up most of the space, this "90 day challenge" program takes up most of the cardio equipment at 6pm some nights - great. Just when the club is at its peak capacity. Locker rooms are beyond over crowded weeknights, on multiple occasions I have had to circle around for parking because no spots were open. I plan to look for another gym. LA Fitness is no gem, but at half the price and similar levels of crowding, I cannot see the value proposition in Lifetime.

David Golden

Great place to work out. Very clean and staff are great.

Nicholas Tsouklidis

Genuinely do not know why this place does not have a higher rating. Many people may say it is an expensive gym, however, it offers the most amenities all in one place! It's also 24/7 365 open! Great environment, great friendly staff, always with a smile on their faces. There are plenty of machines and free weights for each body part you are working out. There is never a wait time to use a machine you want. There are many classes throughout the day and all upcoming classes and schedules are always posted online and kept updated. This gym has anything and everything you can imagine from pools to spas/massages to steam/dry rooms and even basketball courts and racquetball courts. Another great thing about this gym is that they are constantly conducting events for children and adults of all ages. It feels like a community. There is a month to month contract with 2 price options. One price allows you to use everything at the Warrenville Lifetime and the second price option gives you access to use ANY Lifetime Fitness nationwide. Hands down, the best gym I have ever been to.

Frank Branham

Life Time is getting old and things are falling apart and are in disrepair. The place seems dirty and unkept. The men’s locker room smells like old socks. I’m done with this overpriced dump.

This location is pure bull. I signed up for the Troy location thinking its cheaper and reasonable. Though everyone I know pays $72 for all clubs, I pay $72 for just Troy. Come to find out I was supposed to be paying $62 this whole time since I'm under the age of 26. Randomly, started getting charged 2 dollars extra for nothing? I called and said I was going to get a reimbursement and that I would be paying $62 from now on, but today is the first of the month and I paid $73.95. Cancelling my membership.

Ryan Dodd

We joined for our four children to have a place to swim n play during the week. I called three separate times before joining to confirm the outdoor pool would be open year around and that the indoor pool n slides stay open year around. All three times, they confirmed this but when I singed the contract, we were shocked to find out the outdoor pool n slides close during the winter n that the indoor slides were only open on the weekends, during the school year. We have tried to make these hours work for our schedules but are unable too. I feel like we were mislead n lied too. My husband and I are very upset at the dishonesty of this club. I called member services n corporate n the customer service you would rightfully expect as a member, is just not there. They care for the club, not in taking care of their members. I will be taking lifetime to small claims court if this doesnt get corrected. Expect the basics from this club.

My credit card number changed and this place was threatening to terminate my membership after a few hours. THIS PLACE SUCKS. SAVE YOUR MONEY. Biggest creeps ever here too if you like being sexually harassed by every single man in there go here. I had men trying to help me with my “form” at least 12 times. Not even joking. Only good thing was their yoga class (ONLY because my instructor was a SAINT) and their steam room. I hate this place with a fiery passion. Loyalty isn’t a thing to these people. And I couldn’t even bring a guest EVEN THOUGH I PAID 90 DOLLARS A MONTH. Joke of an establishment and gym. Bunch of d bags

Anwar Alkeilani

This is the worst place ever for training. I was shocked that creatures like these exist on this planet! Very unprofessional staff (particularly the indoor swimming pool life guards). Bunch of rude high school kids managing the place. No such thing called speaking etiquette exist in their manual. They hate their job and just want to give you attitude and get their summer's check. The whole place is very dirty including bathrooms, showers, steamer, SPA, sauna, and pool. Hair is everywhere on the floors. Toilets are most of the time plugged. Staff to visitors ratio is very low. They need to hire at least another well trained 20 personal. Most time the place is hangout area for teenagers...nobody is monitoring discipline inside the club properly. Indoor pools are emptied from visitors if there is thunderstorm outside! Slides are turned OFF most of the time during family time! I cannot get the kids to swim. Too much paper work has to be filled in for everything even if I want to take my three kids to rock climbing I had to write my kids names’ four times and sign total of 10 papers including sign-in sheets, liability waivers …etc.. Kids are treated as if they were slaves in prisons. Associates just give lies just to persuade you to join the stinky club making it sound like it is haven and bashing other fitness centers in the area. They even charge you more (intentionally or not) by not giving you the seasonal specials offered by the national cooperate club and when you confront them, they promise you to credit you back but they keep procrastinating. Try it yourself to confirm the mess!

George Tibbles

For the most part this is a great gym. This location has a lot of variety in regards to their offerings. Cardio, weight lifting, courts, classes, pools, and even cafe for before or after workouts. My main areas of being dissatisfied would be price and cleanliness of the facility. The pool areas and showers have been areas of concern for me in regards to cleaning. There is grime in many areas that need some more consistent deep cleaning. Also price is fairly expensive, and it would be acceptable if there were more staff available for cleaning and welcoming us as guests/customers.

Julian Samler

Front desk staff are always very friendly. However, this gym seriously needs to cap its membership. Additionally, during peak hours the personal trainers tend to dominate the free weight area which can be very frustrating considering the price of the membership. Nice equipment, lots of squat racks but severely overcrowded at peak hours.

Chris Curran

I've had it with this place. $80 a month for a gym that doesn't really offer anything more than most others (as far as stuff you'll actually use, anyway - I wonder what percentage of the members actually use the climbing wall, which is open for about 3 hours a week). And the upkeep is absolutely terrible. The men's locker room is a disaster area for about 23 hours out of the day, with dirty wet towels laying everywhere. The shower stalls are filled with abandoned wet towels, plastic bags and other garbage, band-aids, and one time I saw an apparent diarrhea explosion stay plastered on the wall for the entire 90 minutes I was there - nobody found it important enough to clean up immediately, despite the amazing smell. The hot tubs are full of large groups of teenage boys shouting at each other for no reason, most of the time... Not easy to relax. Complaints that are either brought to the attention of the staff or entered into the computer near the exit are gone completely ignored. I've never seen one aspect of this place improve in the many years I've been a member. In fact, I used to work as a salesman at the Rochester location for a few months, until I realized how poor they treat their employees and how condescendingly they view their patrons. Your kid is going away to school, or you're moving away and you need to make a change to your account - this'll take an entire month to take effect, as far as adjusting your monthly bill - In the year 2019, Lifetime Fitness is incapable of making an immediate change to your membership... OR they've arranged things to be especially inconvenient and costly for the members (hint: it's the second option; I used to work there). The managers and salespeople are all flaky and the #1 objective is for them to keep getting you to commit more money. You can see right through their fake personalities. The manager, Jason, is an uncaring, overpaid playboy who is never around and clearly doesn't care about anything. This place is an utter joke at this point. Destined for the grave, like every other bloated corporate garbage company that we're seeing die. Lifetime is a publicly-traded entity, which means that there is a group of shareholders who absolutely insist upon increasing returns... That's not atypical, but with a company like this, where it's ALL sizzle and no steak, you can only continue to provide less and less while charging more and more for so long until you hit a ceiling, and then your bubble bursts. Millenials are not going to pay for this trash. The only people dumb enough to keep paying this much for so little are OLD people who've been doing this kind of thing their whole life. Your days are numbered, Lifetime Fitness.

M K

Great place, always have their equipments functional and great vibes, not like to one in Charlotte

Heidi Simpson

I love Life Time Allen!! I have enjoyed so many different classes with great instructors to include aqua, yoga, CRT, Tabata, Life Barre, HITT, and Zumba, just to mention a few. A special shout-out to Pam Ward who works the women's locker room. She is always so personal and friendly. She genuinely embraces our needs and does a fantastic job keeping the locker room clean. She works hard and has a great attitude. Thanks Life Time!!

I went to this location on April 30th, 2019 and was treated rudely but the front desk clerk Ali. When I entered he was on a phone call so I waited directly in front of him. Once he was off the call, he proceeded to help a white man who walked up after me. He did not acknowledge me by saying hello. Another customer walked up and he began to service them. I then asked him, if he saw me standing there and he said "yes." The phone rang again and he took that call. I said are you going to help me? He then rudely said, “You saw me on the phone.” I said, you helped two people since you got off the phone and haven’t even looked at me and now are taking another call without acknowledging my presence. He then condescendingly said, “Can I help you?” I said, “not anymore” and left. I had every intention of signing up for a membership but with such rude customer service, I will be: 1. Taking my money elsewhere. I will never spend money knowing there’s a possibility of being spoken to the way I was by your “customer service” person. 2. Giving this location a one star review 3. Contacting corporate as I feel Ali was being discriminatory as I am a black woman.

Marc Ishii

Lifetimes goal is to make you pay for your entire Lifetime.

mvbogard

Great facility location with amazing staff! Everyone from front desk to trainers are there to make your visit there a good one. Not too crowded during peak hours also - I always am able to do whatever I need without waiting a second.

nyman188891

I started lifetime fitness because I was new to the area and I heard this gym is really good, also it's close to where I live. It's a really nice gym, their hours are 24/7, 2 indoor basketball courts, weight lifting room, lockers, and sauna. I tried the week trial and I wasn't impressed by their customer support. I wanted to ask the general manager if they offered a discount to members who are employees for Fiat Chrysler. I gave Jason a call, left him a voicemail and my number to call me back, and he never did. After 4 days I gave him a call on his office phone for the second time and he finally called me back. He told me that he's sorry for not getting back to me and offered to get me something from the cafe. I thought it was considerate and all, but after reading a few other customer reviews about the poor customer service I thought he really needs to step up the way he treats his clients. Also, I love to shoot basketball before I lift weights. Unfortunately this gym has only but 2 basketball courts where many members become very VERY competitive with pick up games. I'll admit that I'm not the next Labron James, but I'm decent at basketball. The couple times I went I was denied to hop into a pick up game. After playing one game (which was my warm up game), they basically told me to wait for next game. It's fine, I'm okay with letting others play and have another chance at the game, but then the next game came and again they told me I cannot play. I thought how ridiculous it was to come to this gym and be denied a pick up game after patiently waiting for 2 games. This isn't the NBA, it isn't meant to be taken seriously. This place gets very busy as well, even during the nights (around 9 pm). Honestly I wasn't felt like I was worth value to this place. I felt like the staff was there to just be there earn a check and get out of there, the manager Jason doesn't show enough respect to clients to call them back when they reach out to him. If he really valued me as a member, he could have effortlessly called me back or even tell a coworker to call me back. I felt like he didn't deserve my money, which is why I got all my money back. $70 per month is how much this place is asking. The signup fee is close to $150 as well. For as much as that, I'd expect to have the managers value their clients like their own siblings. Even if I was rich, I'd never go to this gym. This is for the managers, treat your clients with respect and value them. We provide $ in your checks which make us your boss.

I just got out the military and seeing that I am home for good now, I was looking for a new gym to call home. I've been shopping around and looking for gyms that fit me the most, and of course gyms that have good prices with a solid gym. I seen this gym online and it look really nice but it did not have prices. I did not want to drive 15 miles for a price I wouldn't have agreed with so I called the Troy location to see if I could get some help. When I called after about a minute the front desk finally picked up and I was then transferred to the "sales" line.... and then I was told "Yea, call back tomorrow bro"...... Yea, I rather not.

Bailey Martindale

I always forget how terrible this location smells until i get there. It smells like a nasty nursing home throughout the whole club. I’ve been to dozens of locations across the US & never experienced other than this location. My clothes & hair even smell like it when I leave. It’s nasty

Skippy P. Nutbutter

Best gym in the area by far. Never need to wait for equipment. Never need to wait for child care. Never need to wait for pool lanes. Tons of amenities included with membership cost. Many complaints are about cost. Yes it is expensive, but you pay more for the nice facility and access to the equipment....and the cost keeps it from being crowded. Many complaints are about customer service. Never had an issue with customer service. Sure, they don't kiss your butt just because you have money. You don't get someone to carry your bag for you and wipe your brow when you sweat. It isn't the Ritz Carlton. Unfortunately some of the members are used to that type of treatment so they get their panties in a bunch if you don't fawn all over them. I saw a complaint about child care. My 2 kids go there at least twice a week (usually more) and we have never had a problem. They have younger folks working the child care area. My experience is they have always been responsible and do a good job looking after the kids, but no they aren't child care specialists with master's degrees as some seem to expect them to be. We've never had an issue with theft or vandalism either. I'm not dumb enough to leave my stuff outside of a locked locker, but I wouldn't expect anything to come up missing if I had to. My family has had a great experience at Lifetime in Allen.

Megan Kouza

I work here before on my first WBl rotation 1 at Athens high school

C-R. Alyxander

Truly blessed & grateful to be a member of the LT Fitness familia! Everyone is absolutely phenomenal, from the team at the front desk to my membership consultant, Brady, to put the icing, sprinkles, and caramel drizzle on the top! My only area of improvement requests are that the bathroom stall areas (in the men’s, at least) have a bit more refreshing smell, along with being tad bit cleaner. Outside of that, the gym is truly phenomenal!

Eric Williamson

Life Time Fitness for me is one of a kind. I have had gym membership for over 15 years. I have tried them all from Bailey's, to 24 Hour Fitness. It's my opinion that the others are on a lower level. I work out at the Allen Location. Everyone is super nice. They make you feel welcome every time. Its clean and the machines are new and utilize the latest in technology. This location has it all, free weights, classes, yoga, steam room, sauna, inside and outside pools and free towels. You almost feel like it's a spa, vs. A gym. Life Time Fitness in Allen gets 5 stars in my book.

Laura Givens

Great gym, many classes to choose from & clean locker rooms with amenities

A Junk

The renovated gym is horrible. Machines were taken away, so there are now less machines than before = more waiting. The whole center of the gym is now a 'stretching or plyo' etc. area, or to put it differently - 40% of the gym is now the private domain of the highly arrogant & unpleasant army of personal trainers. Don't for one second think you will get space, equipment or any respect from most of these people They hog equipment, take space & won't share then decide to blast their own music from portable speakers, over & above the music that is broadcast from the in house LTV (which is the right volume & not unpleasant at all). To be fair, a couple are considerate, but the majority ride arrogance ego's like their paycheck depends upon it. Summary - go to LA fitness about 3 miles away for 1/2 the money. This place needs an attitude adjustment.

Leroy Ashley

Lol, damn, just read the comments, annnnnnd, I'm not joining. Thanks.

Traci Wolff

Yes, definitely think twice before you join. My family and I were member for years but over the last few years Lifetime has become more concerned about the $$ then the client. My family canceled the family membership a while ago but I continued on as a single member. I have not been able to be at the club for over a year. Many times I've tried to cancel the membership and each time without any help or success. I was not able to get in physically to the club and they would not permit me to electronically cancel. If my electronic signature is good enough for Uncle Sam, then it's good enough for a Lifetime Fitness. NOT ONCE in this years time did ANYONE from the club call to see how I was, find out why I wasn't coming in, or what was my plan. They DID however continue to bill me, send me letters about price increases with reminders should I not pay my bill in timely manner I would be fined and reminders to check and see if my credit card on file needed to up dated. I wasn't a valued member, I was a $$ sign to them. No one has been willing to help or compromise with me at all. DON'T sign their contract unless you know ALL their rules. I do have to say, that there were a few people on staff that were a bright spot, the Fitness Director Monica and several people on her staff were always a pleasure to work with. The pool staff, not so much nor the child care center, my kids really hated going there.

Don't try to go there at 6pm on a Monday unless you want to park on the streets adjacent the "free lot." No parking and waaaaay too full. I don't know why they need to raise their membership fees with that many people going to the gym.

Chris Fletcher

This club is run pretty well. I've been to many of the Life Time Clubs and this is one of the cleanest ones that's not a Diamond level club. Some clubs have issues with mildew or smelly drains in the lockrooms, but not this location. It's very well kept and I would recommend to friends or family.

jeff garton

They no longer care about the customer. Wanted to freeze my membership for couple of months. They require 30 days notice for this...BS! I gave them a week notice, not good enough even though I have been member here since 2006. Also, septic smell up front half of building since spring and still has not been fixed. Smells like dead fish. Corporate is too cheap to fix. I recommend looking elsewhere. This place has gone down hill every year since it has opened.

Tony Loret de Mola

Have belonged to this fitness center since it opened back in 2001. Have utilized it extensively. Love the pool and the classes, many of which are free. The Tuesday 12:00 PM yoga class with Stacie is particularly good!

thrashgirl94

I like the workout room and the amount of equipment that's there. My biggest pet peeve is that I spent almost a thousand dollars for eight weeks of personal training that wasn't worth half of that. The trainer kept adding more weight even though I told him that I have knee / wrist issues. Then when we were done with the training (I didn't have any more money to spend) it was like I never existed. I got more out of working out with a coworker who used to be a personal trainer. I did sit down with the person who signed me up to tell her that I was disappointed and her response was to throw her hands up. I've been a member for about a year and a half and I think there should be more perks like getting a free massage or facial on your membership anniversary or birthday. For the amount of money they bring in every month, this shouldn't be a big deal for Lifetime. Lastly, do not under any circumstances sign up for the personal training....it's a MAJOR RIP OFF.

Basketball court has been horrible for the 4 or 5 months I've been here. I've complained about it at least 10 times and they've done nothing about. In fact, I tried to mop the floor myself and they told me that it was against the rules. They don't care about anything besides their kids care. They have areas for kids, but they use the basketball court and make it extremely dusty. Do not go during times that school have holidays, it is a suicide mission. I recommend staying far away.

Stephanie Delao

Just moved here & we've been shopping gyms in the area. After feeling very unsatisfied with our findings, we walkin today & within the first 15 minutes we were there, we could see a very professional facility. We were warmly greeted at the front desk and then Jill from sales gave us the complete tour of the facility & answered all of our questions. They have multiple class rooms for cycle, yoga, and other classes, lots of equipment, pool, basketball, spa, & cafe. We are very excited that this gym will be our home away from home lol.

Kevin Flowers

I like this place quite a bit, the facilities are clean and useful, the staff was mostly great, but I have a big problem with the price. The monthly cost is 2-3 times many other gyms in the area, and you have to pay a few hundred bucks up front to start up a membership with them. Not sure it's worth that.

stiv clib

This place is not safe at all, they stole money from both of my uncles lockers and some of my friends lockers too. I do not recommend coming to this lifetime.

AGC LLC

Recumbent bikes need to be replaced. Missing straps, aging equipment, loose pedal gears, audio headsets don’t work with the TV’s, just to name a few of the issues. Have complained for over 2 years and nothing has ever been done. Close to cancelling my membership.

Ranislav Jandric

Nice, clean!

Randy Watkins

Turn on the damn air conditioning.

Benjamin Roberts

One of the most open and welcoming gyms in the area.Workouts are targeted to different areas of the body and rotates throughout the week.Worth the money!

DJ CRUNKALLDAY

Bought a membership for my mother but I do jot live in the area. She used it a lot for about 6 months and decided to go somewhere else that isn't so massive. Lifetime refused to cancel my membership over the phone even though I told them it would be 2-3 months before I'm in the area again. They refused to accept written or email confirmation of termination. 4 months later (today) I show up to cancel and they refuse to waive the 30 day notice even though I gave notice months ago. This place sucks.

Nav Singh

Worth every penny you spend at this gym, the facility is huge and amazing , has almost all kinds of facilities and equipment you would need in a gym.

Drew Saltarelli

Best gym in the metro Detroit area if you work out late nights like I do. Thanks to Jay S who helped me out signing up

CuocSong That

The equipments are good enough. However, all the pedals of the ellipticals are very dirty, just like some one had a muddy shoes and stepped on it but Lifetime never clean them. Common, you charge a lot of money please keep the facility classy with your price

Monty Scroggins

Fabulous place. Its pricey but they deliver a higher level than others. Their equipment is top notch and is always in perfect condition. Everything is clean as well.. They obviously hire real hard as they have a high level of professionalism. Much more than I would expect from the younger persons on the staff. Wonderful people.

Alex Fenkell

Lately I have been trying to get some basketball in but for the past month or so all its been is birthday party's. SOMEONE PLEASE FIX THIS

Shelly Niklos

Love the climbing gym, rackettball, hoops and classes. Never too busy to get on the machine you want. The cafe rocks if your wanting yummy healthy food

Cameron Andonie

Truly is a phenomenal gym. The best of the best. The member service manager Haliee is a perfect representation of the rest of the staff. Courteous, kind, and believe in what they do. Lifetime is Worth every penny.

LIFETIME IN WARRENVILLE: DO NOT CHANGE A THING TO ANYTHING THAT YOU DO. My wife and I are charter members. We bought our memberships back when the field the building is now on was nothing but a closed driving range and a mobile home where sales reps would meet with prospective customers and explain the Lifetime Fitness concept. Since then (2000?), we have had 2 sons, had a few job changes, have had many, many neighbors move in and out, but Lifetime has been a constant and very pleasant fixture in our lives. We've worked out there, had many-a-meal there, I've had my hair cut there (that is, until I had no more hair to cut :-) ), had both boys happily play for thousands of hours in the child care center there (until they outgrew it), swam together in the indoor and outdoor pool there, had a couple of fitness assessments there, and loved just about every single moment there. Oh, and here's one more unique touch that Lifetime-Warrenville has that other Lifetime Fitness facilities do not have (and I've worked out at many Lifetime facilities over the years): the folks who check your id cards at the entrance always say hello to you when you arrive, and goodbye to you as you leave! I've been a Bally club member in the distant past, and anyone who says that Bally provides a similar experience to Lifetime has absolutely no clue what the difference is between a service-driven business and a sales-driven business. Is Lifetime Fitness more expensive? Yup. Is Lifetime worth the extra money? Absolutely. I look forward to the reaching the time in my life where I am no longer able to grind out a heavy-weights workout, because Lifetime has all kinds of fitness classes for folks of all ages, including folks who are retirement-aged. My wife and I have seen it all, and done it all, at Lifetime, and almost 20 years into our membership we have not had a single conversation about changing or cancelling our membership. Not once. Thanks, Lifetime Fitness, for being a superior, comprehensive, family-friendly health club for all these years - and don't change a thing!

matthew lendraitis

Poor business practices. You can't cancel or put account on hold over the phone. You have to show up in person or mail the request by mail (not even email). It's obvious way to squeeze the customer of extra $.

Ejaz Malik

useless place to go, I used to be have membership with Lifetime time and after I canceled it they still changed me 8 months with these 8 months I went there and explained them what going on with my account but they don't help me.No refund me money back. they're just there to make a money not to help the people

Majid Kattula

I was there tonight in a sauna with other 6or7 people ,I’m usually swimming & I saw the lifeguard with her boyfriend sitting next to each other almost touching each other she wasn’t even looking at the kids or other people who were swimming that was just wrong, maybe someone should checkout what’s goin on .

Ryan

Basketball Court is TOO CROWDED. Every time we go there is 7 or 8 people on each goal

Ray Chen

Please replace basketballs with new ones they are all so old and have bumps. Other than that everything is good

Charles Armelin

Staff is rude as hell and rates are high 89 bucks for one person is crazy

A A

The fitness name should change to MONEY GUZZLERS FITNESS.

oscar figueroa

I would like a refund every time you have more than one machine out of service with 2-3 trainers using the ones that are good. Today there are 5 machines out of service, this gym decided couple years ago to remove lots of machines to add some jungle bar thing but rarely used. Lifetime, you are not cheap, fix your issues. Edited on 04/19/19 ⭐️⭐️ To ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I have to say that they did a good job upgrading the equipment. Still some things that can improve but overall good so far. I still think that monkey bar should be gone.

Emy Sukenaga

I can't speak on price changing yet, but I'm not sure why everyone is complaining about how busy it is. I have yet to have trouble working out because of overcrowding. The one thing that I can complain about is the water. The water at this particular Lifetime is very soft and tastes slimy to me. I always make sure I fill my water bottle before I get there. But other than that there are plenty of machines whenever I go, and I haven't had to wait for a shower or bathroom once. It's a great facility and I'm very pleased with lifetime!

charlie santillan

Horrible customer service! Don't talk to Colton.

Christine Pence

I gave it a one only because I cant give no stars. NEVER GET A CONTRACT or a monthly membership. They are all nice once you get a contract with them but when you bring them evidence of reason to cancel they wont. NEVER bring you children here. The place is not cleaned properly and they have no desire to do anything about it. My daughter has gotten ill the last 4 times in a row that i have taken her to the gym with me. The place is not clean and they care very little about the people that go to the gym and pay there outrageous fees.

Shawn Chen

why just why would u maintain the courts right before basketball tryouts

Connor Vordale

Should have listened to other reviews. My girlfriend and I are visiting for the week and we were looking to climb. Called ahead and we were told it would be free for our first time. We took an Uber there and upon arrival we were told that was incorrect and it would be 25 dollars for the each of us. On top of that when the front desk staff asked who we spoke with and I apologized for not remembering, the woman was visibly frustrated with me and wouldn't let it go. Complete waste of money and very disappointing.

Reyed Bakri

Great facility to work out at. Equipment is pretty well maintained, and they have a wide variety of different machines.

Nicholas Panourgias

Great place to work out!

When I had moved to the western suburbs, I began looking for a local gym. I ended up joining Lifetime in Warrenville about two years ago and am still a member today. Originally, I met with an advisor, Jane, who took me on a tour of the facility and offered me the different membership options. She was very friendly and made a great first impression of the gym. I ended up enrolling and the gym has more accomodations than I could ever image (basketball courts, rock climbing wall, multiple pools, etc). Before I left Jane's office she informed me that I was given one complimentary training session with my enrollment and that would be working with their trainer, John Orr. Two years later, I am still working with John a few times per month. Despite medical complications, regular work travel, and my natural ability to roll my eyes and sigh when he gives me a challenging workout, John always has a smile on his face and is ready to put me to work! He is a great trainer! There have been times in the gym when I need help on a machine that I am not as familiar with; if I ask John for help, he is always willing, even if it is not during our set appointments. I have also watched him help other members adjust machines if they are having problems. Jane and John are just two of the many faces that wave and say hello every time I enter or leave the building. The entire staff seems very friendly and attentive to their members. It is a great gym for athletes of all levels!

Pete Sherman

I've had a pretty positive experience at this LifeTime. Things are pretty clean, towels are there (75% of the time), and overall the building and equipment is in decent shape. Areas they likely need to address: 1. Staff - the front reception area staff are always on the phone and disengaged. They never connect at all or say "hi". They just wave you up to scan your ID card. My expectations are not country club like for the establishment, but some basic courtesy would go a long way. 2. Towels - Not always present, they need to make sure they are anticipating the rushes and are prepared. 3. When we have our children there to swim there is a family locker room. I've seen too many "none family" people use it as an exit point. That's totally unacceptable and LifeTime needs to communicate to people that area isn't an egress point for non-families.

The Watcher

When cancelling a couple of years ago, I was grilled by mulitiple people, like being arrested or buying a used car- the last thug telling me that this was “the stupidest thing I could do”. Needless to say I walked out at that point. I contacted recently about current rates (foolishly), and they have a maze of ridiculous fees, including charges to just join! I have had since multiple calls at all hours pestering me. So there seem to be no change here - very dubious business practices.

D Wilkins

I have been attending this gym for 5 years. I joined for the child care center, which was wonderful. However, they have cut back on staff and now only open the climbing area and gym area for two hours twice a week during the workweek days. This is ridiculous. The rude staff claim it is because they have babies that they need to care for. All other area locations have babies too. You have to sign up to bring one in. Monday, I heard a staff member tell a 1 or 2 year old child to "be quiet and stop crying because there is nothing to cry about". How about get the parent? I would be livid if they allowed my child to cry this long before coming to get me. The entire childcare center should be open. If you can't open it, you need more staff. They also got rid of all of their computers and replaced with ipads. So, children are left, during these times to sit on a device or play with babyish toys, unable to go to the other areas because they are gated off. The outside isn't open during the fall, even when the weather is 70 degrees. They refuse to even put a movie on so that children can have an alternative while the back is closed. My older children loved going to Lifetime. Things were so different. Now, my youngest hates it because the options are so limited. Also, the high intensity group fitness classes have become more and more infrequent. There are only yoga type classes offered mid day, as well. I will be taking my family and leaving this location if things don't change quickly. Especially, the child care center closures.

My LT Bucks account was redeemed for something I did not use and did not agree. Watch out your account carefully and frequently!

As a 15 year member I really love the Troy club, the instructors are amazing!!! Lizbeth, Becky,Theresa,Fred,Ana,Jill,Liz & Brittney....along with the yoga team. HOWEVER..... the club is dirty! Tuffs of hair that I need to remove from my spot in the studios are gross! I'm not the only one doing so either, along with the stretching area too. What prompted me to write this review was its getting worse. Today as I was leaving the main floor was dirty with debris that as not necessarily from the outside....(hairbands ect). Also I never see anyone cleaning except for in the bathrooms.... this is defiantly a problem that I see the same dirt week after week. The instructors would earn a 5 star and the cleanliness a 1.

Bhavi

Horrible service.. Being such a big name and high claims.. Their service is horrible. My kids were on swim team for a year. Without progress. They had one instructor for many many months managing 2 classes that had more then 20 kids. The accounting department is horrible.. They bounce you to 10 different people and keep charging ur account even after the membership has been terminated. LT bucks were unusable pretty much in my case.. Overall a very bad experience with this gym. Would not recommend this facility to anyone..

Osama Sala

Jill Lewis solved my problem. She is a great person

This is addendum to my previous review of August 2017, I sent a certified letter signed by my son, to cancel membership of my son on 08-15-2017, the cheater Lifetime Fitness still continues to charge my Credit Card every month as of today in November, This is a rogue company. Posted November 19, 2017. Satish Mehta MD It is ridiculous to ask to send a certified letter to cancel membership. In this computer age , you ask members to go to post office waste their time sending certified letters. Please be aware that there is lot of competition out there. Will never recommend lifetime fitness to anyone. Originally Posted August 4 2017 Satish Mehta MD

Setting relatively high membership fee aside, I tend to like to go to this place for workouts, spa and sauna, which is decent. My biggest concern is indeed locker security. I once got my cash in my wallet stolen from my locker and sometimes found my locker pin changed on me so i had to call staff to open it for me. It's really terrible annoyance. If i could have a peace of mind about the locker security, i would have given a 4 star.

Only gym I go to

One of your employees (I believe his name was Alex) was incredibly rude to us during one of our regular trips to the gym. Cancelling membership and never returning unless this is fixed!!!

Very disappointed at this location. We just relocated and decided to go as a family as we always enjoyed Lifetime in the past, but unfortunately had a very negative experience. Bathrooms weren't clean, no kids activities, pool towels did not smell like freshly clean onces we used to. I can go on and on... But basically just decided not to return to this location.

Its expensive

this gym seems to be very nice at the first glance. but as soon as you are a member... - they raise prices on you - they show their awful member services - you will realize that this place usually is way too crowded - even finding a parking spot is a challenge from time to time - you will find out that you are just a revenue bringing number bottom line: dont go there!

Bernard Carter

Extremely dirty place. Number 1 focus for them are sales, customers and cleanliness - the last. Save your money AVOID!

Jackson Luong

Good workout and facilities. A little pricey.

CARS AND BARS - Joshua Williams

Great gym! Very welcoming and friendly even to those just passing through. Big shout out to the front desk staff working Monday evening (10/21) and Tuesday evening (10/22). Also, shout-out to assistant manager Mike Zuro. Great facility guys!

I have not been in dis gym but I love the reviews keep it up lifetime gym cause I’m coming to work out

Great Gym, bad representatives. After expressing a concern with my billing, I was childishly told by Daniel that I didn't "deserve to be a customer at his gym" and that "he did not want me there." His manipulating attitude, rude demeanor and downright bad customer service and communication skills left a terrible taste. Kyle and Haliee were both very helpful in cancelling my membership. Other than this, this is a pretty cool facility.

Dan Ryno

First off they told me when I called on October 31 2016 I could cancel my membership with them over the phone. Then I see a charge from them on December 1st for 120$!!!! I immediately drove over to them to see what in the heck is going on and they said I don't know who told you you could cancel over the phone but you must come in and sign something. I said ok well since one of your employees gave me wrong information a month ago will you give me my 120$ back since today is December 1st and there is still the entire month left that I HAVEN'T USED MY MEMBERSHIP AT ALL... She said NO YOUR MEMBERSHIP ENDS ON DECEMBER 31... I was beyond angry at the fact I just wasted another months payment because their employees gave me wrong informtion. Not to mention the woman that I was working with was beyond RUDE and kept trying to get me to stay... Finally I had to say stop trying to keep me here... I would rather pay $60 at Xsport for my finance and I Not 120$ for this place where your not even alloud to bring guests past 9pm on Saturday nights... I'm sorry but if I pay 120$ to come here I should be allowed to bring a guest (OVER 21) any time I want AT A 24 HOUR GYM!!!! SHE SAYS RUDLY PSHH WE ARE MUCH CLEANER THAN XSPORT... UHH NO LADY YOUR REALLY NOT... Also the rock climbing wall is only open a few hours a day during the week WHEN EVERYONE IS AT WORK! Closed on either Sat. or Sunday.... Well that is pointless! Our daughter wanted to come there for that and the pool only... Oh and to add to the mess you cant bring in a child to the pool past 8pm... Not even during the summer because according to the rude employee that was canceling my membership "NO ONE IN THE WORLD BRINGS KIDS OUT OF THE HOUSE PAST 8PM".... Yea I will take my Money elsewhere and I am disputing that 120$ charge on my account you can deal with my bank! Next time learn how to treat customers and and stop stealing our hard earned money. You just lost $1,200.00 a year business, doesn't seem like much but according to the rest of the reviews on here doesn't look like I'm the only business your expensive gym is losing.. Il save my 1200$ and invest in my own gym equipment thank you very much!

Rajesh Ravilisetti

I have been member of Allen Lifetime for 7 months and everything is fine as long as its going and when you dont need any customer service. when i cancelled the membership, i got a mail from one of its associates and i have emailed twice but still no responses, thats bad the service is....they send mail to request us to not cancel and they dont even reply emails below is email send by me Dear Hailee, I have received your mail on monday and would like to discuss the reasons for cancellation. 1 - I took membership in December 2016 and during that time, I have paid extra amount to get around 150 LT bucks (Jill Lewis initiated) but i didnt get 150 - got only 50 in my account and right now i dont see that in my account. 2 - I have received email regarding free pilates session and after couple of emails i didnt get any response from Katlin Moon-Jones 3 - I have received a personal session as birthday gift in email and i saw Mark Adkins, as contact person and after 2 emails i didnt get any response. 4 - As i was paying around $100 and not regular to gym, all these experiences have made me thing that LT is about money 5 - when i approached an associate to cancel my service he tried to give me some options and then he said that if im going to use only Allen center it will reduce by $10 - i was surprised - this should be told at initiation by JILL but they want to get max amount from customers - so i was not told. Now Hailee if you are not regular to gym and paying $110 per month with unresponsive customer service, would you subsribe for any membership? My reviews about LT are going to be as mentioned above... ---- so be careful

Great gym overall

Joseph Tornatore

Excellent and clean facility offering a variety of ways to establish and meet your fitness goals.

Kimball Mack

Love it here. The child center is always helpful and my kids always want to go back. Everything else (pool, yoga, spin, rock climbing, racquetball, basketball personnel etc) is spot on. It's certainly a bit pricy, but absolutely worth it if you actually go.

Ashish Agrawal

Good facilities, but VERY expensive. Expensive is relative from person to person, but what has turned me off is the bureaucratic approach of the club to almost everything once you have signed up for any service, and the impoliteness of the staff who you have to talk to to get anything turned off. Example - to cancel your membership, either you have to go in in person, or send a certified letter. Really!!?? It will be nice once they start genuinely caring for their members.
