I have been working out at the crunch Schaumburg for a year now and have been very happy with this gym. The staff is very friendly and I couldn’t be happier with the cleanliness of the facility. I was so impressed with the gym I wanted to have my wife and 3 children get signed up. John made the process easy and really made us feel comfortable with signing up. I’ve been to gyms where they try pressuring you to sign up, but John didn’t give that impression. He let us know there was no pressure in signing up. I’ve never been so proud to be a member of a gym.

Staff is great; facility and equipment is good too. They have a new trainer - Oksana, she’s amazing! All of her classes are fun, intense, different every time, and best of all - I could see results after only a month or so! Definitely recommend.

Only reason why I’m giving two stars is because this gym is VERY clean and the equipment is great as well. The customer service is awful. Someone needs to re evaluate who is able to be a manager. I signed up for a membership where I would pay monthly, because I was moving. I moved, & have called THREE separate times to cancel and to ask them to stop charging my card, after all, I explained to the guy manager (assuming John based on the other bad reviews geared towards him), that I didn’t live anywhere near a crunch fitness any longer. (Btw 6 months later, 4 phone calls later, still not cancelled.) This man had the nerve to ask me if I even knew what a contract was, told me I signed for a year even though I know for a fact I didn’t (also have a witness) & then proceeded to tell me to stop talking. The professionalism is non existent. I hate to tell you, but you won’t last long in your management position as long as power is what you’re after. DONT EVEN BOTHER, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AND SAVE YOURSELF FROM THE AGGRAVATION, LIES AND SAVE YOUR MONEY. There are other facilities around the area that don’t scam you out of your money. I’m now in the process with my credit card company disputing every charge. You guys suck.

Great gym during slow times. It can be difficult to get a rack or a bench during busy times. They have most of the typical machines and equipment and plenty of equipment for cardio. One down side is that there are no towels available for members or paper towels in the locker room but the showers and lockers are clean.

Great place to work out. I would give a 5 star but, it don't have a few machines like HackSquad and Hyperextensions. But for that price it's a great gym all together. And the staff here are very responsive and friendly

Peak membership holder for one month. Group fitness has been my ultimate go-to: Medium group sizes make it easy to follow the teacher's routine. One class out of three where teacher's microphone did not work. Lots of options for group fitness- lunch break or evening class throughout the week!

Staff always helpful, but cleanliness is less than it used to be. Everyone needs to be reminded to thoroughly wipe down equipment when done, that is one of the reasons I use Clorox wipes when finished.

Just started this month, there was no pressure to upgrade to a more expensive planplan, the person who helped me was Brett. I really only ever do cardio and use the machines so the basic one is fine for me. Plan was explained well and the costs. I asked for a copy of the contract and it was emailed to me. People are pretty friendly but leave you alone if you just seem like you want to get in and out. I preciously only went to the YMCA so to me there's plenty of machines and it wasn't to crowded later in the week. A good experience so far, I will update if my feelings change.

No wonder this John kid has horrible reviews- and they’re all true! Who made him manager? In his self proclaimed “corporate world”. Buddy. You’re a gym manager. If you’re going to work with people learn how to talk to them instead of steady scamming them for ridiculous fees without any remorse for someone’s situation. And apparently you can’t be given someone else to talk to because “he’s speaking from a corporate standpoint” & there’s “no one else above him.” Hope that $50 gets you a nice lunch! Just like everyone else states, stay away unless you wanna overpay! I will say I did speak with Jake a couple times and he was very pleasant! You guys should promote him and rid the other one! Ps. Nice “corporate” email you got there !

The gym has only been open for 5 days, but I am already impressed. The staff have been really friendly, encouraging, & helpful. I have taken seven classes so far and they all have been challenging (but not overwhelming) & fun. So far, this gym is a great value for the cost of the membership.

Everyone at Crunch Fitness in Schaumburg is kind and easy to work with. They set me up with a personal trainer and he rocks! The hours they are open are perfect for me and the facility has a ton of options with classes.

I've transferred to Crunch fitness from XSport. I was skeptical to change since export offers so much at their Schaumburg location. Though the Crunch Fitness is a bit smaller, it offers everything I could ever need, plus equipment is brand new. It will take a while to get used to a new routine in the morning but I am satisfied with everything so far.

He made me feel super comfortable and asked me what were my fitness goals. I was extremely reassured with how knowledgeable he is and how he has started my journey into fitness. I used to feel super anxious about going to the gym and now this place feels like a second home. I am extremely happy with my progress and I can't wait to see how much I will be able to grow and flourish here with these outstanding people

Visited this gym while on travel for work. Staff was quick to respond to emails for how to sign up. Gym was clean and had all the equipment I needed to get my normal proagramming in. There was Two Olympic squat racks, bumper plates, even some speciality bars. And all the normal stuff - big cardio deck, dumbbells with multiple sets of lighter weights, and a large cable system.

Willing to work with you, if you run into any problems. The locker rooms are 5 star clean every time I come in and that is a huge plus in my book. It isn't necessarily crowded or super busy but... They could use more area for benches, to use with the free weights. They have plenty of free weights located all throughout the gym but they don't go very high in weights. (dumbbells, I think 85 max?) Definitely would say check it out.

Great gym in schaumburg with two floors, cardio upstairs (elevator is available) and weights in the first floor, moreover, group workout classes offered regularly throughout the week. Also, tanning and a hydro-massage bed are included in the Peak membership. This place works well for me because of the location and reasonable price. Facility is kept clean and equipment is well maintained only left out of order briefly at times. Staff is attentive and always available to help.

I've been working out at Crunch Fitness since April and I can only say positive things about this gym. It's never crowded, the equipment is always clean and well maintained and the staff is always friendly. I'm working with their personal trainer Georgi for a couple months now and I have to say he is the best. He is very knowledgeable about nutrition and the human body. Georgi definitely knows what he is talking about and I've learned so much from him about how my body works. I'm always looking forward to my sessions with him. It's always fun but effective and Georgi always encourages me that I can do the things I think I can't do. I've become much stronger and really got to know that I'm capable of doing so many things I didn't know I could do. I highly recommend Georgi and Crunch Fitness.

By far the best gym for the money. This is no planet fitness and they actually let you lift heavy if you want. Super friendly staff and knowledgeable. Have tanning, supplement drinks and bars as well as hydro massage.

If you ever take a membership at this place or any crunch fitness check the policy even if you cancel without using their services you are charged $50 cancellation fee and when you call they say you are signed with that as first thing since you are in contract and to me its a rip off as I never even stepped to the gym except to cancel the membership after 30 days passed so technically I just thought of living with having to pay for the gym for the second month but saying 50$ cancellation fee sounds like a rip off. I usually check and I understand there is cancellation fee and when I signed up the member said no cancellation fee if I cancelled it within 60 days (yes its usually 30 days but they had some promo running) and I don't had any documentation with me and its frustrating when you go cancel the reception people don't even have basic sense to inform you that the cancellation fee is there and I am surprised to see the charges after 30 days of cancellation so beware of this CRUNCH FITNESS SCAM !!!!

Old, uncomfortable machines. The first floor with all the weight lifting gear is overcrowded. No wifi. Feels too hot even in the winter. Closes at 7pm on the weekends.

Crunch Schaumburg is great. They have all of the equipment that you could possibly need, and also have great amenities. The place is always clean and kept up nicely. The only negative is the water filter seems to be "red/bad" quite often, but I would assume that's from so much use. It would be amazing if there was another drinking fountain on the upper level. Love it here!

Great gym. Workers were really nice and felt comfortable working out here. Everyone seemed to just be there to get a workout in and do their business. Their equipment was newer with ones that I've never seen before. Definitely will be returning.

I havebeen a member of this gym for over 2 years now. I loved this place as it motivated me to work harder but these days it's not as good as it used. The reason I'm giving it a 3 stars is because there have been multiple times when I have seen extra charges on my account. My PT sessions were marked as used although I never went for a session and when I got frustrated from this every month drama and wanted to stop those sessions then I was directed to several different people to cancel them yet still was charged for those classes every month! So my advise would be just sign up for the most basic membership and workout by yourself otherwise you will repent giving your account information!

They are a bunch of thieves!! They overcharged us and are now not refunding the amount! We have stopped by several times only to be told that the refund is in process and the money will be credited back to our account. This has been going on for over 2 months now. I have been a member of Crunch Fitness in Schaumburg for several months now. I love the variety and quality of equipment that they have, the friendly staff and the convenient location. The one on one personal training they provide and group classes are definitely one of the best out there! I had my first session with Alex where he got to know me personally and also asked about my goals and needs. He also gave me a few tips to improve my workouts! He was very professional and I could tell he has a great passion for helping people. If you are looking for a local gym with many options definitely give Crunch Fitness a try!

Worst gym ever. Don't fall into the trap there is no way to cancel your gym membership without loosing some money. even if you ask a fitness instructor a thousand times about the charges for cancelling they would say no charges. They will screw you when you try to cancel the gym membership. The worst part is no matter when you go to the gym you will never get to use most of the machines other then cardio machines ever!!

I signed up through my Insurance company thetefore, my insurance company taken payments from my account and paid the fitness center...well I found out that Crunch fitness was not only being paid from my account through my insurance but they were taking funds from my personal account... Had a terrible experience at the Schaumburg location! Enrolled my sons with Georgie for personal training. It was a total scam, the trainer, inspite of multiple reminders, did not create or provide a workout schedule to the boys who were going to the gym everyday. Our goal was weight loss and his focus was muscle building, we ended up achieving nothing after spending $1100 +. Total waste of time and money and at the end they overcharged us for an extra month of personal training!!

The so called manager JOHN GOMEZ is very DISRESPECTFUL and UNPROFESSIONAL. He told me I was a BAD PERSON for asking for his manager to help me. I was DISCRIMINATED against at this Schaumburg Crunch!!! I asked to cancel my membership and receive a refund for the yearly $50 and monthly$20 fee that was charged January 2019, considering I moved over the summer and have NOT been there since May 2018. JOHN GOMEZ said, no he can not help me and that he will NOT give me his manager name and contact info to see if that manager can help me with my cancellation and refund. RUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNN!!!! I have not been at this gym for over 6 months, and still have been getting charged $19.99/monthly. Today I was charged $50 for their so call yearly fee. I have not been there since May 2018 and today 01/11/2019, I'm getting charged annually monthly and yearly fees,called to speak with a manager, and got disrespected by JOHN GOMEZ... This SCHAUMBURG CRUNCH NEEDS MORE TRAINING ON HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS.
