I go to Axiom to swim and I am unable to climb stairs. I really love the pool and the area is kept warm enough for a disabled person to be able to use. But since I am unable to climb down the stairs from the women's locker room, I have to take the elevator and walk through the public area with my swimsuit and towel then reverse the trip once I get out. Seems like they wouldn't want that water all over the floor. Either way I think it would be great if the elevator opened into the pool area.

Marley Antone

Super friendly staff, great vibe, state of the art equipment, pool, sauna, hot tubs, classes, everything you could want. Only $31 for a VIP membership!

Mac Mac

Very clean gym with a friendly and helpful staff. I worked with JV and he helped me out. Will be coming back again and again. If your looking for a gym with a good crew that's open when its convenient for you to workout with an open and friendly vibe. I'm a big guy and looking for a good gym is a nightmare and with my work schedule I never know when my gym time will be so a gym that's open 24hrs has just about everything you need from free weights to cardio galore yeah I'm sold. Thanks guys.

John Smith

This location is super busy and the ladies locker room is upstairs for some reason. The location has a racquet ball court and a pool the other locations aren't as busy but they have less stuff

June M

This gym has a pool, hot tub, hydro message chair, and tons of beautiful people go to this place. I reccomend joining you will not be sorry.⚘ There is also a milkshake bar in there for your post workout protein needs.

Alexander Seniw

This motivated me to do better things with my time and now I jog for 15 min a day because I love the fresh air!

Boise208

Went in a little after 10:30pm wanting to just buy a day pass to workout since Axiom is the only gym open late. But apparently they can only sell a day pass before 10pm. What a joke.

Elijah Odonnell

Very nice gym lots of equipment to choose from. The staff here are very friendly. Great place to work out.

Eddy Svidgal

Large enough so you don't have to wait for your equipment and feels like you're in your own space even when it's supposedly crowded

This gym is probably the best gym facility around but Axiom does not care about it's members. Their only goal is to recruit as many people as possible then proceed to get as much money out of you as they possibly can. Always read the fine print and always clarify contracts. Also because of their recruiting efforts the gym is pretty much always completely packed. You have to go at like 4am or after 10pm to be able to work out without being shoulder to shoulder with everyone. If I could afford to go back to Anytime Fitness I would. Also they took out a bunch of the free weight equipment. When I joined we had 5 squat racks and now there is only 2 or 3. Good luck getting on one of those.

The gym is fine, but some of the personal trainers are hilariously rude to anyone not paying the extra fee to get personal training. Theres this one woman that stands our in particular. She's probably in her late 50's, short with dyed black hair. Several times when I was finishing a set on a machine she'd ask me to get off. Not ask when I'm done, but literally tell me to get off because her client needed it. Or I'd be putting my protein in my shaker on one of the tables and she'd tell me to clear out because she needed to sit down with her client. I'm more than ok sharing machines to finish a set or whatever, but just hella rude. That plus how insanely busy it is at peak time will probably steer me to a different gym once my membership runs out.

Love all of the Axiom Fitness centers I have been to in the Treasure Valley. Always super clean & well staffed. They offer a awesome variety of classes taught by GREAT instructors. They also have a excellent variety of weight training & cardio machines so you never get stuck waiting around for one to open up.

Brent Johnatakis

Bright open floor plan, and a polite culture

Gabby Lang

I've traveled around the U.S. and have been to numerous gyms. Axiom on Parkcenter not only has employees cleaning every time I'm there, John, their maintenance specialist, keeps the gym's equipment in top shape. The front desk and management has gotten to know me and greets me with a smile every visit.

Jose Tapia

Machines cleaned daily good vibe, always full but never feels crowded

Barbara Lam

I'm an older , fat woman, and I am treated with dignity and respect. Fabulous!

Dallas Lewallen

By far my favorite gym in the Boise area! Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, gym has a lot of space. I love that the facility is always clean! If ever you have a question go ask the front desk they will help!

Jennifer Boyett

Staff is very friendly and Tristan is an awesome trainer!

Will Bounsana

Nice gym, good equipment, but they've forgotten about the customers. Been a customer for 3+ years, rarely complain when they mess up my billing, friends in town for a wedding, asked for a week pass and they wanted to charge $25. No if, and, or buts. Came to Johnnys fitclub to see how they'd react. Will call back on Monday, talk to a manager, and cancel. Good work building loyalty Axiom.

melissa s

The 9:30 Monday aqua aerobics is my favorite. It's a little crowded, but that's only because it's so popular.

Misty V

Very friendly and always accommodating when I am in town visiting!

Diego Rojas

Great gym and equipment. Very spacious. It has a partnership with Holiday inn, so if you’re staying there, you get to work out for free.

Bailey Breedlove

I love the variety of machines it has, however. The ladies bathroom is always soaking wet with puddles and the paper towels are constantly out or over flowing in the trash. The employees are very friendly and nice though!

Betuel Monje

Axiom is a great gym to work out at. I had the pleasure of being able to attend while visiting a friend. Awesome, clean, spacious facility with a variety of equipment. There really is something for everyone from free weights to very nice cardio machines. They even have a really nice indoor pool. The staff is extremely friendly without being over bearing and the atmosphere is really great. All the members were super friendly and helpful. Overall a great embodiment of the people of Boise. Would definitely recommend this location to anyone considering a new gym.

That "axiom" is synonymous with "truth" is ironic. Maybe it's a weird inside joke. I joined Axiom in Meridian last summer, largely in part to the indoor basketball court that was offered to members. I said as much to the person signing me up. It's funny how they forgot to tell me it was temporary. Two months later, the basketball court was closed for six weeks of renovations. It was going to be bigger, better, they told me. Some organization that teaches kids basketball was coming in, but don't worry, there will still be "lots of time" for members to use it. More than two months later, the paper was taken off the windows to reveal a nice, shiny floor surface with more backboards and twice as much room as before. But the door remains locked, even when the court is completely empty. Members are now allowed access between midnight and 5:00 a.m and then 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.(yes, really!) So we are allowed access when most of us are in bed or at work. Now they say that there *might* be more access during summer months when kids are out of school. And they say this with a straight face like they actually mean it! At first, I thought HSB screwed Axiom in this deal, but I'm sure Axiom is getting paid. They've decided to bend their members over instead. DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING ANY AXIOM REP TELLS YOU. THEY'RE PAID TO LIE.

Matthew Locher

Great service! Always come here to work out legs/Bis/Tris. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, especially Courtney!!!

Kirsten DeHart

Excellent customer service, especially Rob H, good energy and a wide variety of gym equipment.

Jonathan Harris

Sydney komlenic is literally the best part of axiom parkcenter ! I come every morning and she’s always there smiling and making sure every guest has a great experience !

Misti Cassels

Great, clean facility with a ton of workout options. Price was awesome as well.

Kristel Gazzola

I only gave Park Center 4 stars instead of 5 due to the fact that all websites say Monday is 24 hrs when it NEVER is. The door doesn't unlock till 4:30ish in the morning. Other than that I love everything about this gym.

Ashley Spence

I am just beyond disappointed in the way this gym is run. I have had an issue for awhile now and in the beginning they let me know they could fix it and now they have gone back on that and have charged me even more money. I have been trying to get ahold of upper management for awhile now and when finally I did they didn't even want to work with me. Very upset. You are better off going to a more personal , smaller gym. Take caution when signing up!

I've been to a lot of gyms and prefer this axiom over most gyms in Idaho. Most of the low reviews I have seen on here are just generally unhappy people that feel the need to complain about everything in life. It's a great facility, but I was pretty disappointed when they removed all the squat racks. Can completely change some people's workouts. The dumbbells are also the most uncomfortable things to hold as well. They are some weird octagon shape with edges that dig into your hand if it isn't the perfect size. After about 30 minutes of using them, my finger joints are sore to the touch. I've never seen these dumbbells at 10+ gyms I've been too and don't understand who thought they were a good idea. Despite this, it's a great gym, things are kept clean, and the staff is helpful and friendly. Definitely hope it doesn't keep moving towards a machine based gym though.

circeowaggles

Very helpful and encouraging staff. Excellent trainers.

Oscar Reyes

Parkcenter's pool just the best.

Jennifer Kite-Powell

If you want a trainer to make fun of you while you are working out with your trainer, who you pay for, then go to Axiom Parkcenter. If you swim, it's great for that and the Manger (Brett) is the nicest human you will ever meet, but if you're serious about training with professionals who care about your workout and don't make fun of you while you're doing a move as you train, DON'T bother. I didn't name names on the trainer, but they know who he is.

ivey tallant

I love the space in this gym! Too many people though! Frustrating!

Tracey Huddleston

I will only be in Boise for the next 2 months and Rob was awesome and helped me organize a temporary membership for me! He gave me a full tour of the gym and I really appreciated him explaining everything to me regarding the membership and the gym! After a couple of workout sessions I appreciated how clean and organized all of the workout spaces were. I also appreciated the being able to use the group fitness room (when unoccupied of course) and the women's only workout space as well. Being 5'2 the machines really helped! Overall I was impressed with the gym space and the equipment provided! Thanks Rob for hooking it up!

sandeep reddy

They have good equipment here ..

OVERALL: Nice gym facility, but not trustworthy (in my opinion) PROS: clean gym, nice amenities like sauna and steam room. Spacious locker room (women) and the nicest gym showers I've seen. Nice assortment of workout spaces and classes. NEG: Pool gets very crowded so if you want to use it come at an off hour. Also low rating for trustworthiness. When I left my shaker bottle in the cardio area I called and they put my name and phone number on it for me to pick up the next day. INSTEAD they donated/threw it out that night with my personal information on it. The next day they were rather rude in telling me it wasn't their problem. I emailed management and received the same. Sketchy...

Jeremiah Roach

My favorite gym lately. Good weight section. Good cardio/warm up areas. Pool dry sauna and steam bath are smallish at Park Center loc. Great spin class.

Josh Maggard

Axiom at Parkcenter is an excellent spot to train. Jose V was very helpful in setting me up with a temporary membership while I was in town short term. The facility is on point and the staff is super accommodating.

Trang Nguyen

My son had a non-contract membership last year and after he went to the front desk to cancel it, yet they ended up still charging us for the last 5 months. He hasn’t been there for more than 6 months, but they still continue to charge us. I demand an explaination of what’s going on.

Linda O'Dowd

My favorite gym! So many classes and amenities to make exercising an enjoyable experience.

Johny Ayala

Great gym and friendly staff

Shannon V

I've been going to this location off and on since it was a Golds Gym. There is a lot of equipment to choose from, however since SE Boise has grown so much it has gotten way too crowded. I have stopped my workout early and left just because I got tired of waiting for a open spot to work out. They should really consider opening a second location to accommodate with how many people are in the area.

Steve Furchak

Have found them extremely helpful, joined club as a result of their service.

Talea Little

Big gym with a good variety or equipment. The bathrooms could use some updating and the aux inputs on a lot of the machines don't really work

Amanda Wimpee

Great set up. Nice vibe walking in. Locker rooms w/ showers, stretch area, pool, group classes, hot or moist sauna, weights, cardio, etc. They even have a room for "women's weights" for gals that want a more private weight lifting experience.

John Ryan

I like Axiom but gave it an "average" rating... Why? I'd like it to be cleaner by providing more towel and sprayer stations, changing the towels at the stations much more often (they're usually pretty wet and gross, so it's no surprise members rarely use) , having signs encouraging members to use them, and staff filling for cleaning as needed. Open to changing review if this improves, but it's been this way for years.

Joe R

This gym is fine and the price is very reasonable. Facility is new and clean. They just did a major renovation with a lot of new equipment and some upgrades to the bathroom. Staff is friendly and responsive.

Cleon Pilon

I don't have much patience with organizations using deceptive selling practices. When I signed up for a membership I added what I thought was a $164 package for 4 -1 hour group training sessions, which was detailed in lines 1 to 4 of the contract, indicating "purchased today". Lines 6 and 7 (additional items) were blank. I questioned the rep on the unspecified balance due on an un-numbered line where another $164 and grand total of $328 was indicated and was told they kept that open but could be canceled. The payment due date was March 2. When I went to cancel that payment on February 22, 7 daysdbefore the was told I needed to cancel that payment 30 days before it was due, a detail neglected in the 1st conversation. Given the 2 pt font of the terms and the 10th paragraph position of this notice, it is obvious that this is a deceptive ploy it seems obvious that this is a deliberate ploy. The lesson for me, and I hope for you, is "don't trust them". The gym is well equipped with good trainers. I would give it 3 stars, but the purpose of this review is to help those curious enough to see where the traps lie.

Rob did an excellent job of describing each section of the facility as well as clarifying any questions I had come to mind. Additionally, the set-up of this location is simple and easy to navigate around!

Ally Webb

Awesome place! Nice equipment, very clean, and great customer service! Environment is motivating and makes you want to get in shape!

Ryan Haney

What a horrible place. We canceled our membership in December and they are still charging us 10 months later

DEAN FULLER

Great gym , well run

Charity Thomas

Great people. Nice and clean. Equipment in great condition. The staff is very knowledgeable.

Yeajoon Cho

great facilities, great staff, great experience

Shelby

Good equipment. Love the pool. Not super fond of the customer service

Ray McKee

Fantastic fitness center, busy busy busy all open hours. I am so fortunate to have an exceptionally knowledgeable trainer working with me, a guy that spent my life beating my body up outside and in (breathing to much work fumes).

Cody Matthew

Technically a member at this point, only been using the gym about a week on a guest pass. Rob was awesome. Super nice, high energy dude. The rest of the staff has been super friendly as well. It's got everything I need and more.. the only reason I knock a star off is because even at 5:30am is fairly crowded and I've had to alter a workout to wait for something I wanted to use.. I missed this morning, so I'll be venturing in after work during peak hours. Little worried I literally won't be able to get a real workout in, but we'll see. Equipment is nice, staff is friendly and has gone out of their way to help with anything I needed (even "loaned" me a pair of headphones when I forgot mine.. couldn't pay because my wallet was in the car... so they gave me the headphones and trusted me to come back and pay for them after my workout, which of course I did). I'll stick around a bit. Probably will only use in early morning though. 7:00am on Sunday was pretty empty though!

Christina Evans

Great amount of equipment, they just reconfigured their layout so it flows better. Still gets really crowded especially this early in the year.. Wish they were able to have a better stocked women's room and a cleaner locker room.

Cynthia Harris

As of January 2018, I hardly use this particular location because for one, it is overly crowded, with too many egoistic souls and wannabe "beauty queens" with NO RESPECT for anybody else. I was falsely accused of something I clearly didn't do, at this gym. Nowadays I utilize the Fairview Axiom, as it is much more personable and offers other fitness options that are better compatible. God Bless.

Lisa Similar

I was a member of Axiom since 2009 (it was Gold's Gym back then). I ended my membership today. I've kept the membership for so long because I only paid $20 per month. Over the past 1-2 years my attendance declined due to the environment being so uncomfortable. Yes, it's a fancy gym, but the macho male testosterone pit was smothering. All the t.v. stations are set to programs that stroke the male ego - themes of aggressive sports, violence, or dumbed-down programming. The televisions that showed gym etiquette were very sexist. The examples of "No cell phones on the gym floor" always showed some chatty woman - when in reality, the ones who yap on their phones while working out are always men. It also shows a "No standing around chit-chatting" rule, and it portrays women. Also in reality, men at the gym do this. The advertisements for personal training show weak, small women who need big strong men to correct their form, and ads for personal training for men show big, strong good looking men who just need a spotter. The ads giving general info about fitness say things like, men benefit from working out because it increases strength, endurance, stamina, etc., while the info for why women should work out states that it reduces the risk of injury and prevents osteoporosis, like women are so prone to deterioration. Besides an environment that caters to men, members in general don't wipe down machines, the towels provided are gross and not switched out very often, the steam room smells like mildew (and has for years) and group exercise classes are always overcrowded. Yoga sessions that have so many people in them that you can't stretch without smacking into the person next to you are the antithesis of peaceful mindfulness. In addition to all these irritations, when I went to cancel my membership, the staff person informed me that because I did not cancel more than 15 days before the next auto withdrawal, I would be charged for April, and then my membership would officially be over in May. This is when the General Manager got involved. He explained that the 15-day rule is policy. I expressed to him that a policy that requires I pay another month is not a good customer service policy , but rather, a greedy one that is designed to charge people another month based on a technicality so the company can milk the customer. Overall, I gave a 3-star rating because it is a large facility, it does have a lot of qualities that other people probably really like, and the General Manager, Brett, was very understanding of my frustrated expressions when I talked to him today. He assured me that the management takes action when male aggression at the gym becomes unsafe, they try to be neutral with the t.v. shows (although, I think they need a reality check on what "neutral" means), and he was very polite when listening to my complaints. Even though my interest in the gym was too long gone to be salvaged, I hope my complaints make for a nicer gym experience for current and future members.

harrison sawyer

Overall, I’d have to say that I am not impressed with the axiom at parkcenter. IMHO, there are just too many members and users at this locations. Frequently, I have left due to the amount of people at this location. It’s nearly impossible to find a piece of equipment open during a 5 pm weekday workout. I understand the goal of achieving high membership #s, but I challenge axiom parkcenter to find that happy medium and to think about the members that have been there for years.

Scott Lawrence

Great gym! Clean, plenty of room, lots of cardio machines. Friendly staff!

Taylor Scharer

I would recommend Axiom to ANYONE! This gym has everything you need AND MORE. The staff is AMAZING and their main goal is to set you up for success and satisfaction! kudos!

Kat Judge

My trainer, Jake fairbanks, is incredible. I was very clear that I didn't want to focus on or discuss my weight at all, I only wanted to focus on building strength. I've had trainers in the past who push the weight issue and it's ruined the whole experience but Jake never ever brought it up after that. When we did my InBody scanning he blacked out my weight and body fat percentage and it really meant a lot to me to have him do that and know he took me seriously on the boundaries I'd set for my body. His training was very methodical and I only wish I could have afforded to do more sessions but because of a recurring back injury (unrelated) I had to cancel my trainings. Which brings me to me the other Jake who handled my cancelation of my training payments. As most places do, axiom has a 30 cancelation policy for reoccurring payments. When I reinjured my back I emailed Jake to cancel and was completely floored when he said that due to my injury they would make my next payment my last instead of having to pay again because of the 30 day policy. Axiom staff very clearly cares about their clients and their customer service skills are top notch. I'm looking forward to my back healing and being back in the gym with them!

robert w

Axiom Park Center has been a great place to work out. Always helpful staff and a great facility. Keep up the good work and a nice clean facility.

Christine Brown

Attend the classes. All of the instructors are great!! Gym is clean and nice equipment.

Alyssa Molis

They have lots of equipment, I just wish they had a smith machine.

Hannah Emanuel

Been a member for 4 years and they wont offer a free day pass for family member/guest. Axium, like most other gyms, should give its members at limited number of free guest passes a year.

Jesse Fleming

By far the best gym in boise!

Paco's TCG Vlog

Good place to workout, super attractive people here you’re going to want to workout here!

Bryan Wewers

The location and business hours are great. They have a relatively good selection of equipment. However, cleanliness is an issue. The bathrooms rarely get cleaned. There is always a puddle around the urinals and I'm not sure if there is a leak around the urinals or poor marksmanship. The smell can get pretty bad at times as well. At one time they had a pretty good selection of upright bicycles, but as they break they just remove them and don't replace them. They're down to 5 uprights and they are always in use. You'd think they would replace and update them considering the fact they are always in use. Many of the machines have personal televisions, but most of them have issues with reception. I have passed on my concerns to the front desk but rarely see an improvement. If they were concerned about customer satisfaction they would provide an opportunity to give suggestions or even have a "contact us" on their web site. Maybe a couple fewer trainers and someone to clean the bathrooms.........

Anne Comstock

J V, in membership, is wonderful! Very helpful when our daughter was visiting from college and walked through process of getting her started at Axiom, even if for a short time! Many thanks!!

James Bonstrom

Standard large gym experience. Fairly modern equipment with sufficient duplicates of popular machines. Peak hours are still very busy and difficult to find places to work out in. Bathrooms stay clean and equipment is usually fairly organized.

reza akhavan

Super nice people

Guy Bracali Gambino

Axiom gym is a great gym lots of great workout equipment and knowledgeable staff

Judy Wilkinson

Basic gym. Fairly good price per month. They really push expensive personal training. Recently remodeled and much of the equipment was unavailable for a week.

Stephanie Grover

I joined this gym with my partner a few months ago, and have been happy with the service we have gotten. Signing up we spoke to a few people about the contract/deals/contract and also signed up for personal training to kick start our workouts. The contract I had to refer to a few times because I forgot the terms and charges, but everything is very plainly laid out - there are just a lot. We have worked with two trainers, and have enjoyed working with them both. Doing the partner training we worried about our individual goals being mushed into one, but our trainer has done a great job at balancing our goals and abilities to challenge us both. Whenever I go to the gym, I get a warm welcome from the front staff as well as a salutation when I leave. I have found the staff at each location friendly and helpful when I have a question. I also love the classes that are offered- I wish more were available on the weekends and before work, but I know employees need time off too. I also think the price of my membership is a great deal- as many other places are $50+ monthly.

Scott Ryan Miller

One of the best gyms in the country!

Mark Smith

So many people it is a little gross

ROSEMARY KIRKLAND

Axiom Fitness on Parkway is the friendliest gym. It is bigger than any gym I have used with every imaginable piece of equipment and classes offered. They even have a room full of equipment just for women. Rob H. is so helpful and knowledgeable. I am from California and when I visit Boise I go to the gym with my 95 year Dad who works out 5 days a week at Axiom. I appreciate how the staff treats my Dad like royalty. Often times the girls at the front desk will open the door when he is leaving. The swimming pool is large and clean and has at least 5 lanes. Rob runs a very clean, well operated gym. I highly recommend joining Axiom.

KC P

This is a large facility but the equipment is well maintained, enough of it and the staff is great!

John

Overall ok, but a couple issues. Firstt off, beware of any fees that may pop up or be applied. My CC expired as they all do and I was sent a text about my account so a couple days later when I headed into the gym I brought my new card. Well in that few days I was told I had to pay an extra $20. Um no, not happening. The gym also has been very crowded. I have been there roughly a year and it has gotten so packed that I often wait for things. Not my cup of tea and keep in mind I am paying over $30 a month for this. The men's dry sauna is super small too and people often put water and oils and who knows what else which is super annoying. A clear sign needs to be put on the door. Overall a decent gym to work out at.

Isaac W

Awesome gym, just gets a bit crowded sometimes during peak hours. Also would be great if they got rid of the weird hexagon grips on the dumbbells.

Joseph Endicott

I’m a 31 year old high school teacher. I have been working with Tony for a few months now and I’m super happy with the results. I keep getting stronger every month, and I just put on almost 4 lbs of muscle in 6 weeks. I get a custom workout schedule based on my goals, and he explains how to do each movement and why. Tony definitely knows his stuff and he’s passionate about helping people out.

Jessica Smith

Love this gym. It's 24 hours most days and there is a women center if you prefer to workout without the company of men, it's my personal favorite spot. The equipment is always working and clean. Everyone seems to have a general respect for eachother there, definitely one of the better gyms I have been to

Savannah Capolungo

When I first signed up, my membership was just to the Fairview location. Since moving to a new job in SE Boise, I've been going to the Parkcenter location. I haven't had much interaction with staff, but when I do, they're usually friendly, outgoing, and responsive. It can get a little crowded early in the week, but otherwise no complaints here.

Fanny Wilson

Plenty of space and equipment. Showers need a little update. Hint the 4 star rating.

Hannah G

Clean and friendly staff! Love coming here

Natalya Besoushko

Huge gym with lots of different machines and options for anyone's workout! Also, there are a lot of great different classes to choose from which are fun and taught well!

John Cameron

In boise for 4 days and these guys gave me a free pass. Thanx

Clay Larson

Pretty expensive, but most gyms are. The weights and cardio machines are good as well as pretty new. If something breaks they are very quick at replacing or repairing the broken item. They don't have bumper plates or proper lifting platforms but they allow you to do exercises such as dead-lift with the regular plates and in the squat racks. I have not tacked to a personal trainer there but they seem pretty knowledgeable from what I have overheard.

Katie Hillman

Offer a large layout of different equipment and exercise classes. Staff is friendly and they keep it clean.

Brandon Insco

It's a good gym. Large. Not too busy. Signing up in April, when the signing up fee was half off was 104. Kinda steep, but only $19 a month after this. Not too expensive month to month. Anyhow. Good facility. Relatively inexpensive. No locked in contract (in my plan)

Nikolay Mirin

Good gym and trainers! But be very careful about deadlines and change/cancellation policies when you sign up for anything.

Robert Spence

Great gym, open with a lot of light, a lot of equipment and a lot of fitness classes you can take. Great lap pool, racquet ball courts and locker rooms. Pricing is also reasonable

Mark McGimpsey

I have been going to Axiom Fitness Parkcenter for several years. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The equipment is high quality and well maintained. The gym is laid out thoughtfully with plenty of space; there are separate areas for weights, cardio, stretching, and group training classes. I highly recommend this fitness centre.

B2

Always a cool atmosphere.

Hannibal Miksis

Axiom Fitness Parkcenter is the best gym in Boise. They have an excellent assortment of machines ranging from free weights, machines targeting different muscle groups, and cardio machines. The staff is extremely helpful with any inquiries someone may have. They have a ton of personal trainers and fitness classes that anyone who may want to attend can enjoy. Overall, if you are looking to join a great gym for a low price in Boise, consider Axiom as your top choice.

Mark McGill

Fantastic gym has pool and all forms of workouts plus spray tans next door. Great price as well

Stephen Kuther

It’s a pretty decent gym. There are just a few little things that could be improved. The right sink next the the urinals in the men’s locker room has been plugged for a couple weeks. The urinal screens haven’t been changed in a while and they are beginning to smell. There is an awful lot of equipment, but only one pec deck. Most of the members don’t cleanup after themselves. The staff is very friendly though. This review may change if conditions improve.

Nate Barrett

Very complete gym! Weights, cardio, pool and classes. Very accommodating to travelers. Had a great workout.

Audrey Affleck

Organized and clean. I like the redesign of the showers which lets more ventilation get in and out, and I've noticed it got rid of the moldy smell. The workout equipment in the Women's area is very obviously leftover equipment which is not as good as the main gym. Overall a good experience. It seems to be crowded around 5pm.

Largest gym in Idaho, and arguably one of the best, personal trainers are the best I've ever had out of all gyms I've been to.

Emily Haney

I have been a member of Gold's/Axiom since 2008 and absolutely love it. Yes, it's a bit spendy and they really really push the personal training, but it's worth it. Since moving from Gold's to Axiom I believe they don't require a contract anymore. If you do decide to work with a trainer, overall they are great at teach you a variety of workouts, not the same tired stuff. When I had my child (via c-section) and needed to suspend my account they did so, it was effortless and they gave me no hassle. I primarily workout at the Meridian gym. All of the Axiom's are nice and well equipped, however the Parkcenter and Fairview gyms tend to be over crowded, especially at peak times like after work. However, the classes are great. Meridian's yoga teacher (Jenny) is amazing and any of Cheray's classes will work you out like you never knew. Kids Club is also great. It gets crowded in the summers or when school is out, but they are always well staffed and the staff genuinely cares for the kids! I have looked into other gyms that would be a more convenient drive from my Eagle home, but none of them offer what Axiom does.

I've been practicing yoga for over 10 years and I must say that the yoga instructors at Axiom Parkcenter are exceptional! Though the gym can be busy at times I view this environment as energetic, motivational and inspiring. A busy gym is like a restaurant, why would I want to go in if there is no one there? If there is a long line and its bustling, this is an indication of it being worth the wait.

Axiom is a clean open atmosphere with a plethora of different machines to help you achieve your health and fitness goals. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and informative. Two individuals that stand out, and I believe they deserve recognition for their stellar performance, are Courtney and Sydney. Each time I walk into the gym I am greeted with enthusiasm and a vigor for life that brightens my day. Some days I need a boost of energy, as I'm sure many of us do, and they provide that for the myself and other members. I was speaking to Courtney and I asked her why she seems to be so positive and hard working all the time, and Courtney replied with, "I don't have to work, I get to." That attitude seems to be shared between both Sydney and Courtney and it seems to be contagious with the people around them, both staff and members respectively.

Jake was amazing! I was only in town for a week and he set me up with a way to use the facilities. Great customer service! All other gyms should take notice :)

Joon Cho

great gym

Cindy Peterson is an amazing trainer at Axiom Parkcenter. She is very knowledgable, kind, very professional and has helped me achieve my fitness goals. Through a series of incidents, and cancer, I was not able to do very many things. Cindy has helped me greatly improve my fitness level, and helped me to reach my summer goal of being fit enough to climb the Grand Teton! I recommend Cindy to anyone seeking to improve their health and fitness.

Ryan Augusta

The staff is incredibly helpful and their service is great. The entire facility is clean and well designed. I love the pool and tub. I'd offer up five stars if only it had a suit dryer.

Sohaib Aljarih

I like it there, they are big and they have a lot of machines and it's clean with a good swimming pool area

Jonathan Hamilton

Has almost everything I could want in a gym. Only way it could be better is if it had an indoor track or a rock wall

Daniel Walker

If you like hot blondes.. go here

James G. Rumsey

Great staff Brett the GM has been in the Industry for along time and is a seasoned manager.. The Facility has gone through some positive updates building and ownership

Sarah

Great place just sucks you have to give 30 days notice prior to canceling

Urban Crew

Absolutely Love this place!!! Big enough I have much equipment to chose from, and enough space to do my free weight workouts when needed. My kids love the daycare center. Everyone there is very friendly and make sure they always give you a smile, say hello, or tell you to have a great day after your workout. I recommend Axiom to anyone who is looking for a great gym or an amazing personal trainer.

Been a member here for nearly five years. Previously used one of their facilities at Cole and Fairview. Overall the gym is adequate, but they do need to pay more attention to maintenance and cleanliness. Very often there is equipment that is broken, and doesn't get repaired for days or weeks. Same thing applies to their steam room and hot tub. When they are closed because of a problem, they are often down for a week or more at a time. The showers are pretty nasty, and the lockers are dirty. While the facilities need improving, along with the maintenance, the staff is unfailingly polite and helpful. My membership expires in a few days, and I'm having second and third thought about renewing it. There are a lot of other gyms in Boise, and it may be time to look for another.

Had a great time working out at Axiom! Did a body pump class, the teacher was terrific, Alyssa, she was helpful with all the positions and was attentive to keep us from injury, , the atmosphere seems clean and positive. My mother did the silver sneakers classes here for years and I’m quite certain she is healthier due to this! Thanks for having this gym here in Boise!

Joshua Kujawa

Excellent gym.

Kelly Victorine

Too busy all the time.

Zander Hicks

I have heard a lot of mixed reviews about Axiom, but now I'm wondering what people were complaining about. Rob helped me with everything I needed and made the gym accessible. I appreciate him working with me. The facility is great Tom of machines great free weight section. If you need it, they have it. The gym does get packed around certain times, but I would go around 7-11 at night and the was not many people. Thanks Rob and Axiom for a job well done

Steve Kraemer

Great staff, clean environment and great equipment.

Jim Honiotes

Nice facilities, great instructors, good class selection. Clean and well kept.

Michael Sila

Great open gym. Plenty of equipment. Great hours and price. Hot tub is a joke, showers are gnarly.

Macaile Hutt

I have been a member here for years. I have been so appreciative of Rob and the fitness management staff in helping out when I bring guests or introduce people to the gym for the first time looking to get a membership. Rob gives such a warm and friendly first impression and goes the extra mile to make sure people are happy and feel comfortable at the gym. I have been going to the gym for years, so I sometimes forget how scary it can be when you first start out. I have also seen a large improvement and effort being made by the front desk staff. They really make an effort to say hello and goodbye as you arrive and exit, and a gesture as small as that can make a huge difference in the big scheme of things.

Jake Gold

Great place to workout with any and all equipment you could need. The best trainers in the treasure valley!

Seth Millington

The equipment is very high quality and things are always very clean. The staff has always been nice to me and it's overall an extremely friendly environment for everyone working out from the elderly to the meat heads. The locker rooms are also very clean, and the dry and wet saunas are a nice touch. The architectural design is perfect in that it is very open and spacious. Love working out here everyday!

Shaun Collignon

I have had a membership at every gym in the valley, it seems. I always come back to Axiom. This place has it figured out.

Aaron Blue

The price is great, equipment is reasonably well maintained. Large facility but very popular. Good hours. Pool and racquetball at no additional charge.

Tia Crabtree

My 2nd home. Always clean and staff is awesome!

This gym is way to crowded. For those of you considering joining this gym, here is what to expect. The vast majority of the equipment will be in use the majority of the time you are there. If you have a particular exercise in mind, plan on circling back to the same machine 2-3 maybe even 4-5 times during peek hours before you get the chance to actually use it. You can also kiss your personal space goodbye because if you are someone who likes to stretch before or after you workout, you’re going to have to get really cozy with the other 10 people also interested in using the turf area. For anyone wanting to use the turf area for exercises other than stretching that require a little more space (such as walking lunges, sprints, slay, battle rope, etc.) good luck. Expect the dumbbells you need to ALWAYS BE TAKEN. Oh, and while all the members are fighting amongst themselves for equipment and space, expect to see an axiom employee giving a tour to a new potential member. The thing to note here is that Axiom never stops recruiting new members no matter how crowded it gets and that is a problem that rearranging the equipment is going to fix. I have been a member here for over a year now and it is like this no matter what time of year it is.

Really really bad peoples if u go over they is one mexican guy there he will do anything to get in contract and he will tell you if u wanna cancel can be any time no fees but u try to cancel they will charge u $100

Nickolas Gonzales

Great gym. Love how much room and equipment there is. Staff is friendly. Bathroom/showers definitely need updated. And sometimes they don't get cleaned that often. Hand dryers in bathroom are very ineffective and or don't work at all.

C Cole

They need a bigger pool and Jacuzzi !!!

Kenslee Moy

Clean facility, however when trying to cancel services, the replies are EXTREMELY slow and people are hard to contact or get in touch with as many are always "out of the office". I have been trying to cancel for about 5 days now and I have emailed and called and only received 1 email within the time period. Please work on your contract team as this is extremely frustrating.

My Husband and I took a tour of this gym. It is incredibly large. There are a ton of different areas to do different types of workouts. There's a salt water pool, a spinning room (class) a women's room for those shy to work out in front of others. A yoga room. Tons of cardio machines as well as other targeted muscle machines. A large area for weight lifting. They offer various training packages. This is the largest gym I have ever been in or to. It is expensive but you pay for what you get. They also have some amazing hydro beds to help with soreness after a workout. The staff is super friendly. The gym is attached to a palm beach tan. I would recommend going to this gym.

Gerri Baker

Great place for your work outs, has everthing you need to get or keep fit. It is clean also.

YouTube viewer

Great Gym, very big and popular.

Danielle Christine

My favorite gym in Boise, between the amenities and location. Home to wide variety of weights and just about everything else you might need, though some of their equipment could definitely use an update. Love that there is both a wet and dry sauna for post-workout, and days that you just don’t want to work-out (though those days are few and far between). This four star review has the potential to hop up to a five if bathroom cleanliness and improvement of current broken machines continues to improve—I know it is costly to do this on such a large scale and I have seen an effort made to improve, but there is still work that needs to be done.

Roxie Suchicital

I've been going to location for a long time. Amanda is absolutely an amazing personal trainer at this location. The gym staff is friendly and helpful

bsoo

Amazing gym! Staff are very friendly, and the environment is great. Their SGT-6 is an amazing experience!

Kaley Addison

Really nice staff that helped me figure out a way to workout for the two weeks I’ll be in town. Stellar gym with a ton of equipment. Rob and Bret are awesome.

Terry Peoples

Bill Dorsey

Brooklyn

So impressed with the parkcenter location and Axiom in general! I've never been a gym person but I joined last week because I feel that I am getting to a concerning weight for myself. The manager was super helpful, helped me sign up for a membership and get set up with the app. I enrolled in their SGT classes for an extra 49$ a month and was worried about spending that much but I went today and I loved it!! It was my first workout like that in a long time and I started to feel sick. The second I brought it up to the instructor Tristan Stillings he made me feel completely comfortable and normal about it. He said there was no shame and to take a break if I needed. I did and when I came back in to get back into it he made sure to keep checking up on me to see how I was feeling and encouraging me. It was a super welcoming experience, and he helped me learn some breathing techniques to help with the sickness, and let me know that it happens for a little while with these classes and that if I get through another week or so I should feel better. If you are thinking about doing SGT, or haven't heard of it, look into it for sure! I'm sad as it appears Tristan only works weekends but I'll continue to do his Sunday morning class!!
