Busy, but has nice equipment

First time here after trying to find a new gym (I’m new to Boise). Machines and locker rooms (including showers) were dirty. The water from the fountain was also warm and tasted rusty. The machines also seem old and run-down. I’ll be trying another location, and then if that doesn’t work, I’ll have to cancel. :(

Trevor is a great trainer!!! He pushes you to your limits and keeps encourages you. He educates you on all aspects of fitness!! Everyone at Axiom is helpful. Love the women's area.

Great facility for all types of fitness goals. Caring and approachable staff. Huge upstairs cardio assortment. Massive weight room floor with new and well kept equipment. Fair personal training rates and excellent trainers. Kieren is my trainer and is always the epitome of knowledge and professionalism. Real results following his guidance, went from 22.5% body fat to 17% in a few short months. Highly recommend Kieren as a trainer and Axiom as a gym.

Always a busy place, but plenty of machines and weight racks to accommodate everyone. Affordable memberships and fun classes. Overall the favorite of any of the gyms I've used over the years.

Awesome location. Loved the variety of the machines and free weights, and the large area for free exercise/yoga is perfect. Only downside was I prefer the treadmills at the eagle location, that have a few more options. However the ones at meridian are always working, so that is never an issue

Only been here once and so can't make too comprehensive of a review. A large facility with many machines. Was there from 4:30 to 5:30 and I would say it was busy but not slammed. Was able to get to everything I needed fairly quickly.

Aside from offering a wide array of machines and equipment for individual workouts, including a separate women’s fitness room, the Meridian Axiom offers a good variety of group classes. All the instructors whose classes I’ve had the pleasure of attending have been welcoming, personable, and encouraging, while still challenging each person to get the most out of their workout. The personal trainers are fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable. They provide guidance on nutrition in addition to tailoring their sessions to each individual’s specific fitness goals. The staff have always been friendly and are quick to answer any questions that may come up. I’ve looked for gyms closer to home that compare to Axiom and have not been able to find one that provides all that Axiom provides for even close to the same price. To anyone searching for a gym to join for the first time or looking to switch gyms, I highly recommend the Meridian Axiom.

The gym equipment is great! Other than that though two things that i hate are, 1) The wifi cuts in and out because they don't have enough extenders for the area. 2) The place smells like rotting onions. It would be nice to put out an air freshener for the stinky customers. Or the people of Meridian learned to shower either one would be great.

As a very active person in this valley I have had the chance to check out many clubs around the valley. Some of them are The Star Gym, Crunch, Golds, Idaho Fitness Factory, and of course Axiom. All have had their pros and cons just as any gym should, but what really stood out to me personally is Axioms dedication to results. To some it may seem as too much when they ask you your exact goals and how you want to get there, I see it as them going the extra mile to ensure their members have the best experience and get the most success out of every minute they spend in the club. Hands down a great environment to be in, and the quality of the equipment is a great bonus too.

Been here a year now. It's not the best gym experience I've had, but certainly not the worst. For the price I'd say the equipment is worth it. The bball court is done with its remodel at the meridian location as well and I've been making trips over there to play. Nice to be able to enjoy the pool at one location and the court at the other.

Cons: Almost 50% of the treadmills I've tried slip and old AF. The leg press machine is a little dangerous. You can't reach the hand grips to keep yourself firmly seated and not ergonomic. Life Fitness machines are cheap and not ergonomic. Aerobic machine are so tightly packed it's amazing no one has tripped trying to get to an elliptical. No oblique machine. The machines are in serious need of an upgrade. Fix your safety issues! Pros: People and staff are helpful and friendly. Lots of space and rooms. Amenities are fantastic.

I initially really liked this gym. My boyfriend and I joined this gym over Golds, Anytime Fitness, etc because of the basketball court. We had a month or two of using the court when Axiom very quietly started renovations on it. There was no communication about the real extent of changes and privileges being made to the court, or about the new "partner." We are now only allowed very limited time on the court, much of which is during regular work hours during the week, and then a small window of time on weekends. And just now we got kicked off of the court because the owner was watching on cameras. The court was completely empty-nobody was there. It was around 9pm when no HSB basketball practices or games are scheduled, so I'm confused as to why members can't use the court. I understand business decisions need to be made in favor of the gym's profit, however Axiom did not confront and address changes fully with their existing paying members. Very "sweep it under the rug" feel. Super disappointed.

This is by far the best gym I've ever been to. It's always clean, the staff is always nice. I've had a personal trainer for a month, his name is Cody, and he has been the best personal trainer I've ever had. He legit cares about his clients, he pushes me hard but he makes the entire process really fun and engaging. Without his help I'm not sure I'd have improved my health so well in just a month. I highly recommend this gym and I highly recommend Cody if you are lucky enough to get him as your trainer.

I have been attending this gym on and off for the last couple of years, my wife has been a member for at least 2 years. I finally got a membership and started going regularly 3 months ago, and they have to say the staff is fantastic. it's a gym, so yes sometimes there are smells and sometimes it's loud, but most of the time neither of these things are true. I read every single 1 star rating for this place and you can go ahead and ignore them all, they're just posted by people who have nothing better to do than get angry over nothing. Axiom meridian is excellent, staff are very knowledgeable and friendly, and the facilities are up-to-date. If you're in the market for a gym, do yourself a favor and check these guys out. If you really want results, they have excellent personal trainers.

So I have been to every location in the valley and the people that work at this location are by far my favorite! They have redone a lot of this facility, including the women's training room and it has definitely boosted the vibe. Axiom's classes are THE BEST I have attended. They are perfect for all levels. When I was resigning up- I asked specifically about personal training and they never once made me feel pressured to do it. My sister and I actually asked to talk alone and they were more than happy to give us our space to do so. They also worked with us to make sure we set a payment plan that worked with our payment schedule and that the trainer was the right one for me and my sister... which Hailey is perfect for us! I am so happy to be back with Axiom.

I LOVE Axiom gyms! They are very clean. The equipment is always clean and organized and there is always something available to use. At the Meridian location there is a separate room for women to workout and I love that! The staff is super friendly, helpful and always positive and always has a smile :) The classes are amazing and so are the teachers!! I only wish they had more classes on the schedule, and a little bit more of a variety of the types of classes they have to choose from, but the ones they have again are amazing! My daughter loves the child watch! So many options of toys to play with and she loves all the other kids to play with! The staff are very good with the kids! Axiom is the most affordable in town and you get the most bang for your buck! We got stuck in a rut financially so I had to cancel and I was so sad because we loved it so much! But hopefully one day I can get back to going to Axiom! You will LOVE Axiom!
