REVIEWS OF Axiom Fitness at The Village IN Idaho

Great club but horrible workers that ruin it all! Rude workers who work out here and think they own the whole place! They close the studios so there is no room when it’s busy to do any lunges or any band walks. Snippy front desk people who are never saying hello or goodbye (especially the chunky blonde) will be relocating, ridiculous.

Mark Davis

Do not trust management here. Very deceptive. Update: The manager that cancelled my 3 year membership is now claiming I never had an account there while telling me I wont be charged anything further (an attempt to cancel my review), but then charges my account anyway a few days later. Very dishonest company. Do not trust them.

Great place to workout with freinds family or just by yourself, the staff is very supportive and the pool and hotub are great!

Don Shimley

I just moved to the area and have been shopping around for gyms. This club looks nice but is a bit on the small side. The gentleman who toured me around (can't remember his name) was very helpful and set me up on a guest pass. After using the pass for about a week I had a few questions. This is where Axiom lost my business. The manager of this location was the only person available when I was when. The level of service provided by this young man was far below what I would expect of a member of management. For this reason I have signed up with another health club which is unfortunate because I really enjoyed the facility.

Always get my workouts tho i wish the steam rooms were cleaner

Terry Bassuney

Just left there and front desk gal is very rude. Ignores you when a good looking guy comes in. Batted her eyes when I mentioned I was first. I will stay at Fairview they are awesome.

David Munson

This place is a joke

Be very careful if you sign up for a PT, they are very sneaky when it comes to the contracts. We paid the gym a lot of money for a membership, child care, and for four months of personal training. We were told conflicting information by the staff, and ended up paying a lot of money we didn’t agree to. When I contacted the manager to cancel the membership he didn’t return my call. And after a week I finally heard back after emailing him. They wouldn’t refund the money even though multiple people there gave us incorrect information on the cancellation process. Even after talking directly to him the month prior about wanting to cancel he didn’t do anything about it. Do not sign up for this gym.

Axiom at the Village is a great gym IF you can get the equipment you want to use at the time you want to use it. I agree with the other reviews regarding the quality of the facility. However, these are some of the downsides: 1) The TRX class often takes up most of the power lifting rack so you can't do landmines, pull ups or heavy weightlifting . Personal training and Axfit classes also use that area and it gets way too crowded at peak times. They have an "Axflix" theatre room with cardio equipment that hardly ever gets used. It would be better to turn that room into a personal training and TRX room so that other people can use the equipment in the free weight area. 2) It's only December and even as early as 4pm it was hard to find parking and the gym free weight area was so crowded it was hard to get on the equipment, use the wall ball area or use the body balls. This does not bode well for January, February and March! 3) The pool is nice, but again, even at 8am on Sunday morning I have to share the lane. I am afraid that Axiom has totally oversold the membership and it will only get worse from here. What good is a cheap membership if you can never use the equipment you want anyway? I really hope that management considers making better use of the Axflix space to alleviate some of the congestion in the free weight area. I've also noticed a lot of the equipment getting torn or broken and hairdryers have started disappearing in the dressing rooms. That is the price you pay for cheap, oversold gyms. I hope management changes things before it gets too out of control.

Amazing staff very clean facility well organized. They work very hard to keep equipment in exquisite shape. The customers are the number one concern to them and get all your shopping done very nearby.

Kendall Smiley

Great gym. I have worked out there for the past 4 years. Village is making some great improvements. I can't wait to see how positive the changes will be for Axiom. The staff is awesome and will go out of your way to help you. They offer a great kids club as well. I highly recommend joining!

Axiom at The Village is my favorite of the Axiom Fitness centers in the Treasure Valley region. Not only is the gym itself great (awesome classes, instructors, friendly staff, great variety of equipment), but the location is AWESOME!

Autumn Dyer

Busy but they've got really nice equipment.

Emily Lawrence

I worked here for almost a year, so I knew the staff and environment well. The staff is so friendly, helpful and professional. The gym itself has options for everyone, I saw and talked to so many people who had different fitness goals. After moving away and not being able to continue going to axiom for workouts, truly no other gym has compared!

Heather See

Alex at Axiom village was wonderful!!! Ive been calling the overland axiom for weeks and no one has ever answered!! Very frustrating Alex made my experience so much better signing me up as a member in just a couple minutes!!! Thank you for helping, you Rock!!!

Amber Havron

Everyone is so friendly. I love all the girls in the kids club! They do exceptionally well and you can tell they enjoy what they do!

DONT DO THE BODY ASSESSMENT UNLESS YOU WANT TO DO A FULL WORKOUT AND GIVE THE BEST EXPLANATION AS TO WHY YOU DONT WANT A PERSONAL TRAINER. Nutrishop will tell you your body fat and create a meal and workout plan if you buy supplements from them. It's simple. This will work for anyone who has the need for supplements. The gym itself is nice. The people working are nice, but are obviously paid to be. When you sign up you get to do a Body Success Assessment w/certified personal trainer. Did my assessment last night.... From the beginning I told her that I had just finished my workout and all I cared about was my body fat percentage. She then tried to make go through a whole workout. I did some planks, but when we got to burpees I told her "not going to happen". Then she gave me a more detailed tour of the gym and helped me with some equipment I was curious about. Now about this time I am feeling light headed and weird because 1. I literally only got 4 hours of sleep the night before, and 2. I had done my workout and I did not have my protein and I NEEDED food. She told me I would meet with a trainer about nutrition and products they offer and i said "do I have to I really need to get home and eat" to which she said "yes". Ok fine.. I meet with the other guy and I tell him "I really just wanted to know my body fat. I need to get home and eat and get my protein". We talked about my goals and how he has helped ladies get in shape. I told him I did not want to pay for a personal trainer because there are other things I want more. he said "well you just have to decide what is more important: your health or THINGS".... ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?!?! I was floored from this point on. It was difficult not to yell that the things more important than having a personal trainer was being able to afford all the sports I put my kids in. I eventually flat out told him "I am not going to pay for a personal trainer. Now I have to get home and eat" by this point I literally feel like I could fall over and pass out, and my eyes now lacked the ability to smile because I hadn't eaten much since lunch and it was now 6:30.

Their spinning class will really bring out the best in you. Whether you are an advanced gym goer or just a newbie, you will enjoy it.

Addyson Roberts

Asome love all the peploe also my sis lex works there

Idahome Smile Organic Teeth Whitening

Great gym. Great staff. Clean and friendly environment.

It's taken me a while to write this review because my experience at this axiom was so upsetting for me. I was looking for an additional gym membership as my primary gym doesn't have all the free weights that I prefer. I called and scheduled to do a free day pass. When scheduling I made it clear that I didn't want to meet with anyone and the woman assured me it would only be for five minutes or less. When I got there I met with a guy who I found very demeaning. People like him are exactly the reason that so many people are afraid to even start a fitness regimen. We need to encourage people to be their best not tear them apart. He bullied me about my body and then tried to bully me into purchasing my membership that day. I very clearly stated that I wanted to use my free day pass first and I did not want to continue talking with him. I firmly kept restating my needs and expectations for the day and he continued to argue with me and demean me. He told me I must just want to pay more money. I said if that's what it takes to not feel pressured and try the membership first then yes I'm okay with paying more money. I finally ended up sneaking out of the gym and not even trying it because I was so uncomfortable. The way that he used himself to intimidate me was wrong and I would never be able to even go into that gym again it was so traumatic. I'm giving it two stars rather than one because the facility was beautiful and if the staff had been better I'm sure I could have had a much better experience and I would have purchased a membership.

I thoroughly enjoy the W.E.T. with Whitney swim class. Though today's session had been canceled without notice posted on the door to the pool. It had apparently been on the Axiom app. Several of us showed up for the class and chose to swim laps. It's generally well-run clean facility with a variety of classes and gym equipment available. I also like the Silver Sneakers circuit class. The circuit class includes aerobic work. Both of these classes are quite easy on my joints and are offered at the various Axiom gyms.

Sam Whipple

Have been going here for a few years now and love it. The staff is very friendly and helpful and all the facilities are always super clean. Plenty of equipment and a great layout. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new gym.

Adam Tardiff

The place to workout!

Jennifer B

I love this gym! The staff is very friendly and the gym itself and the equipment is kept very clean and maintained. Also the child care facility is great!

Carolyn Schultz

I've been working out at Axiom at the Village for about 14 months. I agree with other reviewers that it has become too crowded at "peak" hours. I'm fortunate enough to have very flexible hours so I can go during the non-peak hours and enjoy a great workout. But if you have to go from the hours of 4pm-7pm Monday - Friday. . . .yikes!!! It's just not worth it. Not only is the gym too crowded to use the machines and weights you want. . . .but TRAFFIC on EAGLE is a NIGHTMARE !!! The intersection of EAGLE/ FAIRVIEW can take 15 minutes of waiting for a green signal if you don't make it through on the first time the light changes. So the solution to "beat the crowd" is to not go during peak hours. That said, it would be nice if the gym was open later on Sat. & Sun. Perhaps until midnight (like Friday)

Jana Lindsay

Love this gym. Very friendly, clean, and we'll priced. Wide variety of options for your workout.

Ashley Spence

I am just beyond disappointed in the way this gym is run. I have had an issue for awhile now and in the beginning they let me know they could fix it and now they have gone back on that and have charged me even more money. I have been trying to get ahold of upper management for awhile now and when finally I did they didn't even want to work with me. Very upset. You are better off going to a more personal, smaller gym. Take caution when signing up!

Joshy Goicoechea

This axiom is great as far as the weight lifting area and cardio area are concerned. The workers all seem to be very nice. The facility is overall very clean and well kept. The reason I have given this location a 3 star rating, though, is because the pool was closed in March of 2019 for unknown reasons and is still closed (I write this review in late July). I come to this axiom about 5 times per week and have not seen the pool being worked on once. There is no sign of the pool opening any time soon either unfortunately. If you are going to this place strictly to lift, run, and maybe hit a class, it is a 5 star facility. If you have any plans of swimming, even if it is seldom, just go to the YMCA..

Thomas Baker

Love the cleanliness and friendly atmosphere. Great place to work out!

Kris Westergard

I like the layout of gym and modern feel with newer equipment. Salt water pool and hot tub are great! Staff are friendly.

Brian Gillenwater

Clean, new machines, crowded during peak hours, but what gym isn't.

Oscar Reyes

Definitely the most central location in town, very popular with locals.

chance barton

nice gym but way too crowded; can never get the equipment i want. The staff doesn't make you feel at home and are very unfriendly not to mention they are always on there phones. Policies are also unclear they say that the gym is no contract yet charge you 100$ if you cancel in the first six months. Not worth the money.

Steve B

I am from out of town so I paid for a 24 hr access pass. The equipment was great and in good condition. My only complaint is I went to swim laps after lifting and the aerobics class kicked me out of the 3rd lane. Not sure why they did not just use the other 2/3 of the pool like most gyms do. There was only like 6 people in the class. If u want to lift and don’t care about swimming the gym is supper nice and I would recommend it. If you want to swim just make sure you don’t go between 9:30 and 10:30am. Not sure if all their locations are the same I went to the one in The Village.

Letisia Tapia

I love Axiim but compared to the other locations I think this one has a little too much crossfit for me. To each there own, gym rat here, but it just doesn't go with me. Location is absolutely amazing, beautiful view and of course shopping literary just around the corner!

Teresa Hughes

I have been very happy with Axiom most of the time. They are generally good about keeping the equipment in working order. For a gym, it is pretty clean. I also like that all shapes, sizes and ages work out there.

David A. Jones

From the first call this gym did a great job of making me feel welcome to the area. I called another gym and the phone kept ringing. Hung up called Axiom at the Village. The girl that answered the phone Kristen was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. She passed me on to Schyler in sales. My experience with gyms is that they can be pushy and horrible at listening. Schyler was the exact opposite he let me buy what I wanted instead of being sold! I will refer all my family and friends to the gym. If you are in the market for a gym pass no where beats Axiom in at The Village.

Troy Brown

Great place to work out. Always clean and the staff is friendly.

David Buch

I have been working with Jake Gold (a trainer at Axiom @ The Village) for a little over a year. I have been happy with with my results and I think the staff at The Village is exceptional. And I do agree with one of the other reviews that said it gets crowed there sometimes, but the other members are so nice it ends up being an excuse to make a friend. And my review may seem a little over the top but my doctor just told me that I will not need to take blood pressure meds because my exercise and diet reduced the need. Axiom is great!

Mirko Ivancic

Clean and nicely organized Gym, but I have seen better run lemonade stands that were run by 5 year olds. After an injury I called in and requested to cancel my membership I was told that I need to send something physical or an email asking for my membership to be terminated. I was told to do it though the website's contact form and did so instantly. Five plus months later I am still getting charged regularly and contact them again though the website. 3 weeks after contacting for the 2nd time I am told that my Memebrship will get canceled (conveniently waited 3 weeks to make sure another month's payment can get taken out) and was told that the front desk person that received my email was on Vacation for weeks and just now saw my email. Apparently when main contact people are gone no one checks on mailboxes. I wonder what happens when one person is on Vacation and has the key if the whole place shuts down for months. This is the 2nd time the same scenario has happened. Last time was about 2-3 years ago when I was overseas and canceled my membership. I was given an email address and sent multiple emails to it to pause my membership and no one got back to me. When I returned to the country I was told the person I had emailed was fired the emails didn't get forwarded to anyone and I was sending emails to a mailbox no one was checking. Would be a great place if it wasn't run by scammers.

Scott Smith

A quality gym. A bit overpriced, at least the plan I'm on is.

Tina Buda

Top of the line equipment and a huge gym. Love this place is definitely recommend

Steve Furchak

Pool was closed for cleaning so I could not use it. Good service though.

Kimberly P

Friendly staff, clean, modern facility, great equipment, and great views of the outside! This is the best Axiom I have visited. I love the low Chlorine pool and spacious locker room. The membership fee is also pretty affordable but, I don't like that you have to sign a yr contract.

Zach Springer

Best place in town. Highly recommend this gym. Well worth the money.

Tawna H

Group exercises rooom is locked up all the time now and there’s no area designated for women only like in the other axiom gyms.

Mike Olsen

After tiring of the slow pace at which Crunch is remodeling it's Eagle gym I decided to try Axiom at The Village as an alternative gym close to my home. They had a free 7 day trial pass online so I decided to sign-up for this and consider changing gyms. When the sales associate called I informed him that I used to be a member at Gold's gym in 2009 before this gym was built, before I moved and before the chain of gyms changed their name to Axiom. This prompted the sales associate to inform me that they do not offer the 7 day trial pass to prior members and that they consider members of the prior Gold's gym to be prior members of Axiom. I told him that as a business owner myself, I certainly understand some businesses try to win back customers and some do not, clearly this was a case of the latter. He informed me he could sell me a membership without the trial pass. I told him he is very poor at sales and he hung up on me. Clearly the changes over the last 8 years have been bad for customers and likely bad for business. I used to enjoy going to Gold's gym last decade as the equipment and the staff were top notch, now I will not find out whether the equipment is still top notch but I certainly know the staff has gone downhill.

Nick Bradley

This place is a joke. Waited for 20 minutes in the lobby to speak with someone about a trial/membership. Finally just paid $10 to get a guest pass. The incompetence of the staff is aggravating. When I finally did buy a guest pass, the lady hands me a receipt and says thank you? I guess I'll navigate around myself. Off to a different gym.

Tracie Hill

Newly remodeled with way more space now.

Meredith Bowles

Axiom Village is a great place too workout ! Elisha is an amazing trainer ! She works really hard to accommodate her clients ! Jake was a sweetheart and helped me with some questions I had

Meryl Rickey

This gym has loads of workout options, a positive competent staff and plenty of equipment. It's the best gym experience I've had.

Julie Gunvalson

I joined Axiom due to all the group classes that they offer. I've been very happy with the quality of instructors that Axiom hires as well as the times classes are offered. They also have great hours and excellent customer service. I've referred several co-workers to this gym and they all love the group classes as well!

Heather Kopecky

I went into Axiom a few weeks ago with a friend, to try the facility out. When I got there, I was greeted by a girl working the front desk. When I gave her my info etc, I was then helped by a very kind and funny guy named Rob. He answered all my questions without making me feel pressured to sign up THAT second. He was sure to ask about my goals at the gym, what I was looking for, and how Axiom could help me get to those goals. I enjoyed my visit at that location and hope to come back soon! Thanks again Rob for being so AWESOME!

Christine Taylor

Nice facility...We have been there for a year. However there are things that took place and are disappointed. We needed to change our automated payment due date from the 29th of the month to the 1st of the month, If she was unable to do that, we would keep our two teens on the membership but remove ourselves due "long story" Im assuming we got a girl from the front desk. She let us know that this would require 60 days notice to remove my husband and I. Well in that case we would remove the entire family. If indeed we need 60 days notice then we were misled. Maybe we did not read the fine print. Live and learn. During the tour of Axiom at the village, we were told, "The great thing is it is month to month" He told us this after we made it clear we would not join a membership where we are under contract.......... She assured us that her manager would need to handle this as she did not have authorization. She also told us to just let it run through the bank and they would have just denied it. UUH! We had money that needed to go to food, gas, and bills. We had to prioritize! We explained If you had no money, you would receive a overcharge. We waited and waited hrs. & never heard a thing. When we toured the facility last year we didn't have that problem. In fact as annoying as it was, we were frequently called. Im sure had we been a new customer..our concerns would have been met and would have received a return call. ( Days prior CENTURY LINK deducted payment after making a payment agreement. I had even removed automated payment with them as a safety precaution because they have been incompetent in the past.I needed to cover myself.) I was not going to take this chance with AXIOM. Poor Customer Service: All Axiom had to do was return a call and work w us. We should of never been left guessing. In the meantime I had to cancel my debit. Need to go to a bank and have a new debit issued. I will have to change out other automated payments etc. What a pain! What seems to be so easy for some companies is not so easy for others. I really hate have automatic withdrawal anymore. We spent too much time on this and I wont forget. We would have been back to Axiom, mainly because they are really close, but i doubt it:( My only other complaint is on multiple occasions for days at a time. The sauna was down. i quit going months ago. My kids will be bummed as they do use it frequently, There are others! A Deane 05-25, 2016

The gym (Village) is almost always packed unless you go at ridiculous hours (11pm - 6am). Different staff at the front desk every day so no feeling of rapport or welcome.

Dominique Dicino

I've done personal training at this location and the staff is awesome. Clean equipment and it always fixed right away if it breaks. It truly feels like home to me.

Ed Johnson

I had a knee replacement in November 2017 at age 78. I joined Axiom in May 2018 and worked on range of motion with a fitness trainer for 11 sessions. He did a great job of evaluating the exercises I needed and set me up with a series of sessions that i alternate 4 times a week. I then had a hip replacement in August but was back to my routine in a few weeks. As an Army vet, former runner and skier I have always tried to stay in good physical condition. I am continually impressed with the very helpful, professional staff and cleanliness of the facilities and the pool, hot tub, rest rooms and showers. My wife has also become a member.

Kacey Gambill

It's very clean and nicely organized. For the amount of people that frequent this gym I think the equipment is adequate; however I really do wish they would upgrade their equipment

Hailey Reed

My husband and I have been going to Axiom for over a year and have had nothing but good experiences at the Overland location. I don’t go to the Village much but liked the convenient location, however after being there twice I forgot my water bottle (hydro flask brand) at the counter after getting a shake. I called back and the staff stated that it was in lost and found and I could get it whenever. I came the next day to grab it and noticed my water was dumped out and a few sentimental stickers from our honeymoon were taken off completely and the outline is still visible where they were. I couldn’t believe that after leaving my property right at the counter it was defaced and I’m assuming the person probably planned on taking it until I called. This is no way to treat property left ON the front desk counter, I’ve been in retail and customer service and have never came across a business where something is left for less than 2 days and not kept safe for a guest or member. I will never feel comfortable leaving any of my personal property anywhere at this gym, it makes me wonder what could’ve happened if it were a wallet or a purse. We will be looking for another gym in the future. Edit: I appreciate the response from owner, we spoke with Alex who was respectful and acknowledged they have had issues with their staff which shows in their recent reviews. I also appreciate them emptying the water to prevent mold and whatnot, however I do know that both stickers were not peeling and even so, the one was cut down specifically so that I could keep it on there since it was from my honeymoon (I had a sticker collection from places we have travelled together and planned on adding to it) and one was not even close to peeling so the employee had no right to alter anyone else’s property and I do not believe that to be a valid reason. Thank you for your response.

Carrid Gerny

The price is retarded for all gym membership I personally feel they should keep kids club open on sundays for the amount of money I spend on their membership

Kelly OCallaghan

Great place to work out Jason the manager is extremely helpful and friendly

Adam Wiley

I used to love this gym. But since Golds Gym closed and Axiom bought their membership base, this place is constantly WAY OVERCROWDED. And I am not just talking during peak hours. I am talking NON STOP. And they have limited equipment to support it. 3 bench presses. Limited benches for dumbbell work. Limited squat racks. I feel like I am at an amusment park now waiting to use a machine. This place is like people soup. Bummer.

Taylor Scharer

I very much enjoy this axiom not only because of the quality of machines and the layout, but mostly because of the friendly and helpful staff. One employee, Alex I believe was him name, made me feel very welcome and accommodated and made sure I was 100% taken care of and comfortable. Thank you Alex!

Madison Reynolds

Always had great customer service! The facility is clean and tidy, sometimes a little crowded but the staff is really good at knowing when the busy times are so they can be avoided!

Matthew McCoy

Good gym, but it's getting overcrowded.

Britton Valle

Can't utilize the yoga room I had been utilizing for months then they posted a new sign stating u can't use

Nick Martin

Good variety of machines, equipment and classes. Smaller space but does not feel crammed. Pretty clean for a gym.

Brian Rausch

The facilities are great, staff is friendly and helpful.

Happy TwoBe

Wide range of equipment. Great little lap pool. Just a little crowded occasionally.

Roland Serb

So far I like it here! Customer service is great! And Brent was an amazing person to deal within signing my family on a membership plan!

Leo Hayakawa

Superlative service staff and experience.

Denise Tate

I have been a member of this gym at the village for over a year and love it here. I have always had great experiences here, the employees are always very helpful and very friendly, until today. I came in and decided to stop and pick up some reward items I had redeemed through the app on my phone. Evelynn (not sure if that is how it is spelled, she wasn’t wearing a name tag) was working behind the desk. From the moment I walked up she was very rude and snotty she wasn’t helpful and she seemed annoyed that I was even there. I told her what I needed and she said, “I don’t have anything back here it’s probably been so long they put it back.” She then said “if you don’t pick it up they put your stuff back and give it to people who want it.” I just decide not to deal with her and went on with my workout. As I was leaving I was planning on getting a recovery shake, but she was at the other end of the counter sitting up on the counter laying back with her feet up and just looked at me standing there. I decided the shake wasn’t worth it........

Katie KyLynn

I absolutely love this gym, the equipment, everything about it. Except he employees are always very snobby. I’m not one to normally complain on a review unless I’ve had multiple bad experiences, and every time I’ve gotten a shake after my workout, every employee acts put out and snobby. I’m paying $40 a month to be a VIP, I wish the employees would treat me like my money that I spend there is paying them.

Brittany S

I absolutely love this gym! The staff are of the highest quality, and always available to help. The gym is clean, well organized (as far as layout of the equipment). Even when it’s busy I don’t feel like everybody is on top of each other and I can do my workout without interruptions. They also have daycare for my daughter which is nice and convenient! Overall, I love the Axiom at the village and I’m sure all of their other locations are up to par as well!

S8 elevate

Apart from being the worst equipped gym on top of that they closed off their studio room now I have to drive to the one in meridian or off of park center since this one doesn’t have the area designated for women only! Will be canceling my gym membership!

Judith Chang

I started searching for gyms in the area and my husband and I decided to visit this gym and ask for prices. We liked it from the beginning, staff is welcoming and nice, prices are good, equipment is up to date, and personal trainers are very helpful and motivating. We love all the services that we can access with our membership. Highly recommended!

Chick-fil-A Marketing

Love working with their team and partnering with them for events!

Matt Campbell

Just moved back to the Treasure Valley and a friend recommended the Village Axiom and try a “free membership”. I went there and was immediately given every sales pitch in the book. The high pressure sales tactics DO NOT work!! So after a while I asked for a day pass, which I paid for. Then was given a tour as if I had never been in a gym before. Finally I was able to get started on my workout. Then... right in the middle of my set, the manager of training started trying to sell me personal training and give me his opinion on my routine! This kid looked like he was 15 years old and obviously tanned way too much. I grabbed my stuff and left.

A Casey

I love the location of this place, close to work, convenient, etc. However, the staff here is very rude especially those who are at the front desk. I pay each month for my VIP membership and I still can’t believe how poorly they treat me- it’s unbelievable. But I’m not the only one complaining, clearly I can see recent comments here complaining about the staff as well , and I have over heard other gym members complain about the same thing. Axiom itself is great, the classes are amazing and the teachers are so nice but with a staff like that it makes me question if it’s worth my money. If you’re looking for an amazing staff go to the Meridian Axiom, they are truly amazing and friendly and will always be there to help with an amazing smile, I hope the staff at the village can learn from them.

Carol Preston

We have the best silver sneakers coach there ever was we thank the Lord for her

Scott Ryan Miller

Needs a sauna please!

I've been going to this Axiom location for over 2 years now. The atmosphere in the facility is bright, clean, and very friendly. I'm not sure where the staff complaints come from, everyone is always polite and welcoming. I've only seen a couple machines down for repair and it doesn't take the gym very long to fix or replace the equipment when it's needed. This gym attracts a wide group of diverse individuals, all of whom get along great. It's not strange to see people waving and talking with each other that might never do that outside the Village Axiom. If you are a beginner have no reservations about starting here...there is no better place in the valley. Lots of trainers and more advanced lifters who are more than happy to give you pointers when it's needed. Ladies, a meat market this is not. If that's what you're looking for go to another gym... but if you want some place to go and be left alone while you workout then look no further. I started bringing my son with me when he was an infant and the day care staff is incredible. They treat your child like they were their own. The per visit rates are great but if you're planning on making the day care a habit for sure go with the monthly rate. I haven't done it in awhile but they used to even offer a drop off service where you can drop your little ones off for a couple hours while you shopped in the Village. I couldn't recommend this place any more highly! Keep up the great work!

Kenyon Butler

Open gym with spa like feel. Tons of great equipment. Pool, dedicated yoga room, and kids room are nice additions. Good mix of clientele. Fit individuals and others getting there. Well maintained, highly recommended.

Van

I've had over 500 SIGNINS at Axiom throughout all of the facilities, and here is my brutally honest review The facilities are actually quite nice and so it the staff (for the most part, but I don't appreciate "trainers" that are totally juiced up) I gave it a 3 star because of the energy that is in there. There's a ton of guys in there who are on steroids which can be intimidating/unmotivating if you're dedicated to natural bodybuilding like myself. SO MUCH douche vibes in there and a lot of creepy old guys Don't get a membership here if you plan on going during the busy times or if you don't like even the look of guys on roids

Ed Boehlke

Best gyms in town by far! The quality and variety of equipment is the best I have found. I would recommend Axiom to anyone serious about fitness!

Omid Afzal

Great facility and amazing service with the front desk folks. I believe the standard is set by Chris the general manager, and is employees. And if you ever have a question on something the trainers don’t hesitate to assist with the answers. I love it!!!

Jackelyn Sucher

Nothing but bad customer service!!! I had an issue with my payment card being canceled by my bank and was charged a fee. I’ve been trying to get a refund for a few days now and the staff has been nothing but rude!!! Taking my business else where as well as my husbands! I also work in networking so I won’t hesitate to tell people about this experience. I work in customer service and when someone says on a voicemail “ I am not happy” they’re usually my first call back. But maybe that’s just me, onto a better gym. Screw you axiom.

Lois Mccampbell

Great place.

Jason Smith

Best gym in the valley. Reasonable monthly prices. Wish they were open 24 hours on weekend though.

Brendy McConnaughey

Axiom and I got off to a bumpy start when I encountered an incredibly rude and unwelcoming salesman. I am happy to say that my initially terrible experience with Axiom has been overwritten by the wonderful service that followed. After lodging a complaint, they were super quick to respond. They truly took action and made me feel very welcomed. Brandon, one of the trainers, was encouraging from the start and through his actions alone, was integral in my decision to officially join Axiom as a VIP member. Alex and Jason were both very helpful and I am excited to start my new fitness journey. As the working mom of a toddler, I find that where going to the gym was once a chore, now it's a treat. This gym has a ton of wonderful amenities to offer and I look forward to logging many hours in several Axiom locations. Thanks again, Axiom staff for turning a poor beginning into a great one.

Buffy Jones

Great sauna

Ryan Weed

This is a great gym. Friendly staff, bright, clean, great views of the surrounding area and doesn’t have the typical gym smell. :)

Todd Hall

Probably one of the best gyms I've ever worked at and worked out at!

Josua Ortiz

The gym has great equipment love going to it. The only cons I have is that I wish it was 24/7 all week long or at least opened on Sunday at 12 am instead of 5 am on Monday and also you guys need to clean the hot tub because I saw that it was dirty looking brown don’t even want to sit down because it needs to be scrubbed seems like you guys are not cleaning it good or not cleaning it at all.

Cecilia Imberti

The pool is for the most part warm and clean. They have equipment to use in the water as well as a hot tub. Varied equipment for exercising as well as weights. They offer a room for little ones, classes included on the membership. Overall a clean and nice club to maintain or start a healthier routine for exercise.

B2

I used to love this gym but as I got more experience I realize the equipment was not quite there. While I was at the gym I use some straps and an employee named Tyler came up to me and said. "Those straps are not allowed to be used for deadlifting. These straps are too expensive you should buy your own they are cheap." I go to a gym to use there eqipment! They're are hanging on the dead lifting rack. SMH Not very happy!

Amer Karabegovic

Great facility! I love getting my cardio in at this gym. All of the equipment is up to date and the track area with kettlebells, battle rope and weight sled allows you to add a little extra to you workout.

Robert Aston

I went to this location for the pool. There are three lanes but only two have lane markings. If you get stuck in the lane with no stripe it is a pain to swim laps. The lighting is also not helpful. The cieling illumination is very poor. The pool is surrounded by nearly full height windows. If you swim in the mornings or late afternoons the sun is shining right through and reflecting on the top of the pool. This makes it difficult to see the lane ropes or edges of the pool while swimming. I imagine it works better in the middle of the day. I moved here from AZ and used to go LA Fitness. Most have 3 lane but a few had 4. They all had lane stripes and massive skylights in the cieling with substantial lighting for when it was dark. It made swimming much easier.

Mike Kusnier

Best gym. Friendly and caring staff. Great atmosphere and wide varity of machines to use. I would recommend this gym to everyone.

FrostyFeet

Almost always busy and ridiculously expensive. The movie room is nice.

Amanda J.

The gym smells, the equipment is constantly down, the showers and lockers are run down, and if you’re a girl, be prepared to put up with constant harassment from the guys.

Jason Coombs

Want to give a shout out to Dave the trainer for changing my life. Since his training I completed an Ironman 70.3! Also to Elijah for taking the facility appearance to the next level. He’s the real deal.

Sarah Miller

Group exercise room is always locked and the gym is way too busy and all the equipment is always being used..don’t bother buying membership here

Brandon Titmus

Great and clean facility! I have been a member for many years and this place has always been top notch! Along with the outstanding amenities it has a very knowledgeable staff and excellent leadership!

Jackson

Terrible gym. Looks nice but they are snakes here Read through your contract!!!!

Nicole Armstrong

I absolutely despise Axiom’s billing. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve had to go in and get reimbursed for monthly payments that were taken out of my account after canceling my membership. They don’t ever seem to know what is going on and do not keep records. At least for me. I’ll never get a membership there again just for this reason.

sam preece

Asked the staff if they could make me and my friend a protein shake and the girl simply said “I don’t really have anything set up..” How hard is it to throw some ingredients in a blender and make a shake? I actually used to work at this same axiom and I would never turn anyone down because I didn’t have anything set up. I was very disappointed but axiom called me personally and fixed the issue in a professional manner. I appreciate that they take care of their members, and fix wrong doings. Thanks axiom!

Janice Johansen

Silver sneakers class is the best!

BIll k

Just tried to get a workout in at 5:45 on a Tuesday night...along with half of the Treasure Valley. I would have a had a better chance of phoning Graceland and getting Elvis on the phone than being able to use a bench, squat rack or any other piece of equipment. You guys need to expand or build another but the bottom line is I will never return to this gym to catch a evening workout ever again. Miserable experience navigating the gym floor much less working out!

Todd Ashworth

Village location is awesome...good people

Alyssa Godina

Rude employees at the front desk. They looked at me and talked to me like I was stupid when asking about a promo that was going on at a different axiom location as if I’m expected just to know that they don’t all have the same promotions. When I asked if they knew any other axioms doing the promo she said “I don’t know ask Parkcenter” least favorite of all locations. Drive a little farther and go to Parkcenter or meridian where they’ll actually help you with questions you have.

Anthony Milleant

It’s super clean, they have everything you need or want for a good work out, and their staff is friendly.

Emily B

Alex with member services really helped me out last week. I had an experience that ended up being a misunderstanding but he took the time to listen to me and my concerns. He really allowed me to feel like axiom cares about their members and wants them to feel safe. Very impressed!

Christine Spence

First time to this facility. Great equipment and facilty. Love the mountain views from the ellipitical machine.

Jon Pridgen

This is my favorite location of the Axiom gyms in town. I believe it is the nicest gym in town; new state of the art construction, high end equipment and the best fitness instructors. I really enjoy the cycling and core strengthening classes The layout of the gym is fantastic; I love the view that the huge tinted glass windows offer. They spared no expenses here; building a swimming pool on a second story location couldn't have been cheap. All the equipment is new and super high end. The gym can get a little busy at times which pushes me to try different equipment or classes that I wouldn't normally do. This ends up being a good thing adding variation into my workouts. I have been a member here since 2007 and wouldn't consider a different gym. I like to mix it up between their different locations as they all deliver a little different workout experience. Their Fairview location has the best selection of free weights and resistance training equipment. Parkcenter probably has the most cardio equipment.

Pat Davis

Never will I ever pay for another personal trainer here. Sincerely, an unsatisfied client!

Ryan Jardine

I have been going to the Axiom at the village for a little over two years now and the facility is great. As far as the environment goes I think it is one of the best, the people (or the regulars) that work out there are for the most part friendly and courteous. 60% of us take care and wipe all the equipment down after we use it. We smile and are friendly with each other knowing that we are there and not home on our couch, all just trying to better ourselves. There are 1 or 2 trainers that are super friendly and helpful, allowing other gym goers to ask questions during their own personal workout which I think is amazing and if I ever was to get a trainer it would be one of them as the others are not that friendly and act like the gym is theirs, which it is not I pay to be there.......they get paid to be. The GM and the sales staff is great, friendly fun and you can see that people really enjoy them as they joke around and laugh with the people working out to make the environment fun and a positive place, as well as if I ever have any billing questions, membership questions they are super helpful and try to help or accommodate in any way. I have worked out at park center, Fairview and village is the nicest, most well-staffed and taken care of facility by far. I tell anyone I can about it.

Virjon Brahimllari

I like Axiom and the membership cost is reasonable , the reason I dont give it 5 stars is because they take to long to fix the defective equipments and pool has been closed for repairs for almost a year now.

Ashley Voss

I've been going to the axiom at the village for over a year now. I've had there unlimited mystic tan membership for about 6 months now. They switched out every front desk person and the service is AWFUL. The past two months I've waited on the staff almost 30-45 minutes to spray tan while they take care of other customers. Sometimes having to ask multiple times if I'm going to be helped. It's very clear in their tone and delivery they are not welcoming nor do they want to help you. The mystic spray tan room is absolutely FILTHY. No bin for dirty towels so they are scattered amongst the room. Used hair nets on the cabinet shelves. No new clean towels, no lotion, no hair nets, or footies to ensure my spray tans will look good. they have been out of the dark spray the past three times I have gone. I have called and made MULTIPLE complaints and nothing has been taken care of. Axiom, take care of your customers!!

Guisela Crespo

Classes are fantastic, great trainers, specially for body combat. The equipment is nice and clean. Is a very neat gym.

Keith Shauger

Nicer facility than Fairview.

Yelena Frolova

This club is absolutely the best in a whole town. Spacious, new equipment, a lot of different classes, friendly stuff. ...... and great location.

Melchor Herrera

Great facility and location. Busy place even on holidays

Kathy McCulloch

Big scam, they get you by offering a month free of personal training. Before you know if they charge you $500.00 for an additional month of training. Even after being told by two personal trainers that the automatic withdrawal would stop after the agreed term. They won't refund the money back to you, they are also very sneaky with the contract. I would not recommend this place, the trainers are nice but the training manager is not willing to help you out or make things right when employees provide misleading information that cost you lots of money.

Sunny Blamba

Best gym by far, just moved here from Florida and was looking for a place to work out. Axiom is not only the Biggest gym around and has the newest equipment but it is located in the best part of Boise/Eagle/Meridian area which is at the Village. Staff is great , gym is clean I give it a 10 out of 10

Dyneil Moriarty

Super impressed! Club24 needs to step up their game in the fitness world like Axiom!! Great prices, so many options. My sister has a membership here and it’s very cost effective. $29/month and she can bring ANY guest. $20/month otherwise. TVs on all their equipment!

Livier Olivares

I love joining this location. I have had a good experience during classes and with the personal trainers.

David Taylor

This place is great! Usually I go to Fairview, but this Axiom is very good too.

Maddison Meistrell

BEST Gym in the area by FAR. Clean, affordable, incredible employees, kind and clean childcare, the best of everything as far as equipment, top notch personal training that WILL get you results, friendly and personal management, quick to fix repairs and great class options for experts or first timers! I would recommend this gym to everyone!

Boyce Fish

Clean gym with lots of options. Free weights can get busy but I have never had a problem getting my workout in. Weight machines with good options. Lots of cardio equipment, rarely have issues finding the cardio I want unavailable. Staff is friendly enough, though I rarely recognize the front desk people. I feel like the pool leaves a bit to be desired. It is warm and cloudy, the lane lines are poorly fit to stop waves. It is generally crowded or classes are running or it is being cleaned. Update: they took the spin bikes away. Last spring during the remodel they put the two bikes with computers in the spin room. Spoke with management multiple times, they say no dice. They gave me the general managers email and she never replied. They will not let us in spin room, because the equipment will “be vandalized”. They won’t do a signup to get in either. You can’t do your own workout during spin class because they are somehow responsible??? I tried to get a long zone 2 ride in during a class and was verbally accosted by the instructor. Update 2 on pool. It is closed. We now drive to park center to get our workouts in. No idea if or when it opens. In summary, don’t go to this gym. They do not care about you after they take your money. Their precious spin bikes are locked up most of the time and use is restricted during the time they are unlocked. The pool may never open, management of course has nothing to say about either of these except “have you tried the other locations. Yup. We drive all the way across town 4 times a week to get our pool time in.

Derek Nelson

This axiom gym is very clean and has a good selection of equipment. There have 4 flat bench presses, and plenty of adjustable benches by the dumbbells(which go up to 130lbs I believe). They have all of the standard machines. The cardio area is nice and each cardio machine has a cool screen that you can use to watch TV, navigate the web, etc. The only complaint that I have is that there is only 1 power rack. There is a big structure with four spots that you can use to squat but it doesn't have safety bars

Anthony F

I come here weekly for PT with my special-needs client who is in a wheelchair, and the staff is rude and has never opened a door for us ever. The most attention they've ever paid us is staring.

Mary Jones

Great gym Body pump is my favorite class Equipment is clean and up to date.

Mikayla Johnson

I have been trying to cancel my account here for over TWO MONTHS and they are STILL charging me. Their pool is constantly broken, and the front desk members are never able to focus on one client at a time. Do yourself a favor and avoid this scam.

Brandon Wood

Alexandra’s personal training for my wife and I has motivated us to get back in shape and focus on core strength more. She is knowledgeable and well trained. Even with my numerous past injuries/ health history I’ve been able to gain strength and endurance with her training programs. In terms of the gym we’ve been going to this gym for a few months now and have come at different times of the day. Other than the normal 430-7pm crowd it’s not that busy.

I went to Axiom about 2 years from now, today I was so disappointed about front desk service how they treated my mom. I got VIP membership, usually my mom go to the gym with me with no problem. Today she came there by herself with my card membership, the girl who worked there didn't let her come in. My mom called me to explain for her because she didn't speaking English well, the girl explained for me that my name on the card membership, so my mom can come to excercise if I go with her. After that I came over the gym and tell them " I am here and she can come in to excercise? The girl said " no" because I won't excercise. I have come to excercise with her. i got mad, why they don't let my mom come in excercise even I was there. I said I have class, so I just come and sign the membership xard for my mom can come excercise. They don't know how to solve the problem. I cancelled my membership today because I thought they didn't understandable. This is not only one time, many time the front desk service so rule special with Asian people

Heather Frazier

I'm here every day while I'm in town to distress. Fun staff and clean facilities!
