Definitely the place to be in town for working out, swimming, fitness classes and starting a healthy lifestyle! Love the atmosphere for sure. Ya its not the cheapest and have looked at other "GYMS" but in terms of health and fitness, cleanliness, array of things to do and open 24hrs to fit my schedule its completely worth it. Sandy was amazing in helping me and my family get passes to test out the facility for free for a few days. She gave us a walk through and we were instantly hooked. This family owned business is so incredibly friendly and customer focussed. This 24 hour athletic facility is absolutely amazing. Plenty of workout equipment to focus on your personal needs in addition to programs, trainers, pools, splash pad, gender saunas, steam rooms, and hot tubs. There are also massage and red light therapy booths for use. Have children? They have child care services and different payment options depending on frequency of use as well. If you forgot your towel, you can rent one for a minimal fee (50¢ currently). Lockers are available for free. Family locker rooms are available also. There is a small concessions area that you can pick up snacks, and purchase pre-workout and protein by the scoop. Post workout shakes are also available. You can also pick up some Apple Athletics swag for your workouts. I really wish there were more locations available where we live! I would highly recommend this place to anyone!!!

The facility is top notch... if you can't get a good workout here there is no hope for you. My only gripe is the $15.00 daily pass fee. I travel alot and have to use daily passes --- this is really expensive. You would think a better business model would be lower pass rates... oh well.

The place is great and the equipment is awesome BUT...the employees are not friendly! I needed a simple monthly receipt emailed to me. I was told by the manager of Accountting that she "couldn't do it because if she did she'll have to do it to all 5000 members" couldn't even take care of a simple request ONE of her so 5000 members needed. Very disappointed in their customer service!!! I will not renew my contract with them again, I don't like unfriendly people that will not make the effort to put a smile on others! Hope this helps on your decision!

Full service gym from independent workouts, group training and individual training! Women’s only area, gymnasium, coffee and juice bar with available food is a nice option and the seating area with the fireplace is cozy! Tanning, sauna, steam shower, hot tubs indoor and out, shower area are all wonderful perks! The indoor and outdoor pool, splash pad and fire pit with quality outdoor seating is a huge reason I love the gym for more than just workouts! I love the loungers in the water too! Sandy Neiwirth is the best if you need navigation help!! Aaron, PT, has helped me get into amazing shape!

Apple Athletic Club is amazing!!! We’ve been members for more than two years and still workout at least four times a week. I’ve lost 80 pounds with the help of trainers and classes. All of the trainers and instructors are amazing! My favorite so far for classes is Elizabeth in cycling class. She is hard and fun at the same time. She is super amazing!!! We are going to be lifers at Apple!!!

The Apple Athletic Club is the best gym in the Idaho Falls/Ammon area. The equipment is great, layout of the gym is awesome and faculty is the best around. I especially love training with Kathy Kalougata, she's really helped me get into shape and achieve my fitness goals! The first personal trainer I've worked with that's actually listened to me and helped me get the lean muscle definition I want instead of bulking up!

If you are going to join the Apple, Talk to Frank. He is clear and upfront about all the details of your membership which is important when signing a one year contract. My favorite part of the Apple are the classes and trainers. They really push you to become the best you can be physically. It is an investment in your health and happiness. Remember to talk to Frank at least 2 months before your membership expires to make sure you are still happy with everything. My only frustration with the club is they did not renew their contract for the ISU student vouchers and neglected to notify me. With Frank's help I was able to come to an agreement about this change. Thanks Frank for looking out for me!

Wonderful service while in a contract. We just tried to end our contract we missed the deadline by 10 days and they were unwilling to even give us a cancellation fee, which we asked for. "nope you cancel automatically in another year " was thier response. They even asked us to prove that we were gone during the time that we could have ended it, which we did they just gave us the runaround acting like everything was okay It was really ridiculous and the way they acted on the phone like nothing was wrong and we would be okay with moving out 13 months with them when we wanted to stop. Don't use Apple club if your the type of person who wants to have quality service and care for you. All they care about is extending your payments to them.

This is an awesome club. The staff is amazing and offer exceptional customer service. I’m always greeted with smiling faces and a positive attitude. The facility is always clean and well maintained. The equipment is in good condition always. The atmosphere is positive out on the floor. Most of the people seem high class and have a good weight room ethic. It makes working out there much easier. The trainers are all very good at what they do. They give great nutrition advice to go along with specialized workouts. Most important for me is that it’s a family friendly place. Great for kids as well. We love being members of the club and will be for a long time.

After working out at Apple Athletic Club for over 7 years off and on when I was in town for family. I decided to listen to one of the gals and sign up for a membership instead of spending more on my monthly dues and not have a contract as I travel for long periods of time for work. This was the worste mistake I could have made. The sales lady told me that they would just suspend billing when I wasn't in town, and that all I needed to do was call in. So I did just that, the week before I was leaving town I called in and left a msg to suspend billing. Which of course didn't happen and my card was charged...... this continued for month after month of me trying to discuss why my agreement was not being kept and my card charged. Finally I had to inform my bank that they were not allowed to accept any more charges from Apple Athletic. After months of trying to get the issue resolved while paying for monthly passes I decided they had lost my trust and I had no more energy to fight with them. Today I was called by a collector and the club had added hundreds of dollars in fees to my bill. Its obvious to me that this company has no idea of what's going on with its faithful members or what some of the team members are doing to effectively destroy their name. It's sad really!! I really loved this place and am so shocked at how our relationship ended. If you read any of my reviews you will see that they are 99% positive. And the only reason I'm writing this is so that others aren't duped like me into making the same mistake. I didn't even use names as I don't believe this about every team member. Only a few bad Apples to beware of!!! So my only advice with Apple Athletic Club would be to never get a membership. If you have to go, pay month to month.... And remember.....if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is

I give 5 Stars to the instructors, and 1 Star to the management. We received free 3 day passes for two guests to come with us to the gym while they were in town. The management treated them so poorly and got mad at them because they are not locals. We pay so much money to go to this gym and they couldn't give some respect to our guests who they said could join us for 3 days? This is not the first time that management has been rude in situations that require some common courtesy.

We missed the cancellation date by less than 10 days. They auto-renewed us for a year + 1 month. When we requested leniency due to vacation, they responded that we could have cancelled before we left. We offered to pay 1 month to cancel, that wasn't good enough. We will now be sent to collections because we are unwilling to pay for an additional year. BEWARE their contract, and uncaring management.

My experience here has been nothing short of wonderful! I joined to work out for a goal with a deadline, after a friend shared a guest pass with me. Sandy helped me sign up with the right contract for my needs, and got me set up with the right trainers to meet my specific goals. Apple has honestly changed my life. The facilities are fantastic, the sauna, steam room, swimming pool, women's gym IN the locker room, not to mention the endless available classes throughout the day. I'm already thinner and stronger than when I joined less than a month ago, and I have barely scratched the surface of what Apple has to offer. I had no idea what I had been missing out on! Definitely try the FitWall! **edit: just wanted to add that I gave notice according to terms of my contract and it was seamless. I was also reminded by staff several times to ensure my cancellation was made timely. I wish I had known more about Apple sooner, but was scared off by fear of negative reviews about contract issues. Just be sure to understand the contract you sign up for, the staff is thorough and clearly explains what to expect, and they have many different arrangements, so don't be shy about asking!

Swindled into getting a membership. The employee who signed us up lied about what was actually included. Very, very expensive. We are paying almost 2 months worth of paychecks just for the year contract. You can't get out if it until the year (13 months) is up. The pools are filthy, often there is mucus floating around. I asked an employee about it and she said just because it's cloudy doesn't mean it's not clean, but that the filters aren't working. Be cautious when taking children, there have been several times when adults were straddling and making out in the pool. For longer than a few minutes. I'm saying 20 to 30 plus minutes. Be aware. I wish I had been warned.

The Apple athletic club has a lot of potential, it has many people that are highly trained and helpful. There does seem to be a distinct billing issue in their company, as I’ve never worked in a place that had that many people in collections. I worked the front desk and honestly I felt sorry for most the people who called as I was unable to help them with what we were limited in fixing. Be forewarned, don’t ever let your credit card expire, and don’t ever trust the billing. Get it all in writing and keep every record you can. Don’t be willing to start a gym “contract” unless you are willing to finish it. Because it is even harder to cancel your membership or sell it to someone else, the manager who handles this part of the company is seldom at her post; Even if you schedule an appointment. Other than that it can be a great place. Like I said, it has great potential, but some major oversights would definitely prevent me from signing anything without a witness and lawyer. Kind of sad that such a great place has a dark side, then again, things that seem too good to be true usually are.

The fitness center is awesome but, when I tripped and fell behind my treadmill while stepping off. Two guests walked by without a "are you okay ". The employees weren't aware at the moment so I had to crawl to the nearest railing to get off the floor. Oh well, still go, still think it's an awesome place to go.

I am so happy I started going to Apple Athletic Club! They give you 2 free sessions with a trainer, which was great for me since I had never worked out at a gym before. I started working with Kathy K. and have lost a lot of weight and am getting noticeably stronger. The facility is nice and clean and I have enjoyed every workout with Kathy, she's the best!!

I just wanted to share my daughter's experience. She was a member of Apple Athletic Club. She made the mistake of not submitting in writing her desire to stop membership. She just called on the phone to cancel and thought she was done. WRONG. They actually require in writing in their contract that you submit within 60 days of your renewal date to cancel membership. She's now facing over $3,500 in fees, legal fees because of this. And the sneaky thing is that your renewal date changes every year. Please consider this very, very carefully if you ever think about joining the Apple Athletic Club.

They give you free sessions with a personal trainer and a Pilates instructor and when it came to the end of the sessions with the personal trainer, they were very polite and understanding with my financial situation and worked to find me solutions that would fit my budget. My bad experience was with the Pilates instructor. When I asked her how much the sessions would be after the free sessions were done her response was “you can’t afford it.” I had to ask her a few more times before she would even tell me the prices. That made me feel like garbage. I just wanted to know how much the sessions were. Besides, that’s my decision if I can afford it or not. I never felt more judged in my entire life. I initially started going to the gym to have a better life, but now every time I go there I feel angry and sad and disgusted with myself and my finances and I’m not even doing that bad with my finances!

Completely unethical. I signed my son up for $1500 worth of personal training. The contract I signed clearly stated they would pull $754 now and the remaining $754 the following month well ahead of my son's last training session. I used my debit card and of course.... wait for it.... yes, of course, they didn't pull the agreed to $754, rather they took the entire $1508.00 putting my account overdrawn. This type of billing has to be the easiest possible, extremely straight forward as nowhere on the contract was the $1508.00 listed. Instead, it listed the 2 payments and the pull dates. This was not an innocent mistake. The person that billed my card did the math, ignored the contract and charged the entire amount up front. My son hasn't even had his first training session. Where I would have considered a family membership if my son enjoys the training, I am now in the 'never never never do business with these people' category.

I’ve never witnessed such terrible customer service in MY LIFE. The staff doesn’t even attempt to sympathize with you or even pretend to care about their customers. I’m a college student and I was tricked into a contract. I had no idea that it was a year, they didn’t mention it once. Now, I’m at home for the summer, not using my membership, and I’m having to pay monthly. Except, since I’m a college student, I have low funds. In the contract it said payments go through the 1st and the 15th. I was billed on the 24th and I wasn’t ready for that and they charged me a 15$ late fee. I called to explain the situation and they said too bad. Seriously appalled. Please don’t go to this gym.

Fantastic club! We have been members for over three years. Our kids have learned to swim there, and I train there three to four days a week. My wife and I trained with Lisa Morton to get ready for a trek to Everest Base Camp, and she did a great job! They are constantly adding new equipment and upgrading our experience.

I'm going to tell you exactly why I literally hate this place and it is because when I signed up for the person told me that me and my wife would get it for $100 a month which we could barely afford but he talked us into it and after the first month we started getting charged $200 a month and the guy said we could cancel it anytime well guess what they said nope can't cancel and sew a couple years down the road guess what I am getting sued by them for over $2,000 when I literally went there two times and that is not an exaggeration!!!!!

Not the way I’d do business. Don’t get me wrong it’s a great athletic club. Beautiful facilities. But when it comes to the sales side and contracts. It is a scam. We finished a full year contract in feb of 19 and were hesitant to renew because we knew there was a chance we would be moving... we were assured that they have a clause in the contract that allows for early termination in case of a documented move. Well here we are 4/23 with a documented move and their moving clause in the contract still requires 60% of the remaining 12 month contract (which was renews less than 90 days ago) to be paid. I don’t understand the business model and can’t support it. The model of “well they’re leaving so we don’t care if they hate us”. Sure we should have read the terms and conditions, but I can’t and don’t agree with this way of running a business that relies so heavily on referrals and recommendations. I feel we were intentionally misled when renewing our contract.

I go here to get my body fat percentage checked. Julie and Ben are absolutely essential for the overall operation here. Julie and Ben are probably the most health-educated people you could ever want working at a gym. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that most members actually lose more weight and build more muscle when Julie and Ben are simply in the building. Be sure to say "hi" to them when you see them - one day, Julie and Ben might just become the owners of this gym. Who knows?

Always crowded. Only two rowing machines that are either broken or occupied. Many times wasting my time going. Rather buy my own rowing machine. Edit: thank you for your response. I don't think a sit down is necessary. Please just repair the screen on the machine on the right. Then maybe instead of having 40 spinner bikes - add maybe two more rowing machines, so there is four in total. Thanks again!

If I could leave negative stars I would. I don’t even live in Idaho. I was being turned to collections on an account one of the salesman’s forged in my name. Turns out this is common practice with this company. It was extremely hard to get ahold of management. Steve and Ray are crooks and liars. I was able to see my forged contract but was not able to get a copy of it without a warrant. After multiple attempts I finally was able speak to Ray. He assured me it was being taken care of. HR was reviewing it and it was out of his hands. He called me a few days later to let me know they had fired the employee forging contracts, which I learned he had done to at least 20. Only to find out he still works there in the same position. I have gotten no where on this issue. I strongly urge anyone sign up for a free trial to call and make sure you weren’t signed up without your knowledge. If anyone else has experienced this please let me know!! I am going through the legal system in hopes Steve and Ray can’t cover that up. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THE APPLE AS YOU CAN!! Tell everyone you know to call and make sure they don’t have an unknown membership.

I would doubt that any 5 star review on here is authentic. I've never heard anyone ever say anything good about this organization. I was skeptical going in and I regret it. Wish I never did. The facility is nice but the company is as slimey as it gets. They do not care about you or your well being they care about your money that's it. The staff is rude and unhelpful. You wont get the price you're quoted and they will milk you for every dime. If you want out of the contract forget about it. They will do nothing to help you in any way under any circumstance.

However I must say that the lady who is in the accounting office I believe helped me more than the actual lady in charge of the memberships. BEWARE! Read the fine print of your contract. When you call the front desk to cancel a membership and the clerk says "ok we'll take care of it." It is NOT taken care of. You must submit in writing or you will continue to be charged. While the club is ok, not fabulous, but ok, these underhanded business practices make it a place I don't want to deal with.

If you are looking for a nice gym, check out the Apple. They are fully staffed with lots of extras even a women's only area. Lots of fun sport leagues and different classes. Wonderful personal trainers. I personally love Kathy, very up beat, high energy, and motivates you through the entire session. Only down side and the reason I have it 4 stars is that it is on the more expensive side, but that is expected for the many wonderful amenities that they offer.

This is a really nice facility with good equipment, nice pools, and fun classes. The staff is always courteous. You definitely need to read the fine print when you sign your contract. There are some snares in the contract that have specific requirements for cancelling a membership. They're open 24 hours during the week which is great. I rarely have trouble getting the equipment and weights I need. The price is a little high compared to other clubs in town, but they are the nicest and usually offer a discount if you ask.

I’m giving this place two stars only because the members themselves were so friendly. But do NOT come here if you are out of town. We came to the front desk of the Apple athletic club bright eyed and excited. Our goal was to find a place to play pickleball while visiting my mom. We asked if we could get a free guest pass (because it said online that we could). The people at the front desk said yes, then asked if we were residents. We said no, were from San Diego. They said then you’ll have to pay a daily rate of $15 each. That’s very expensive, especially since they only play a short period of time, and we don’t even know what level of play (if any) to expect. I have never experienced prices this high for pickleball EVER, and San Diego is more expensive than Idaho! The guy at the counter said he couldn’t help us anyway, that we had to talk to a sales rep. He called her over and in walked “Katie” the worst sales rep ever. She told us we had to pay $15ea for a day or $35ea for a week. Although I was quite certain she might be able to do something more reasonable for us, it was clear she wouldn’t. We didn’t want to pay $30+tax a day for one day (15x2) and then $70+tax later (35x2) if we liked it, because then we’d pay a total of $100+tax just to play pickleball 2 hr a day for 4 days! What if we play and we don’t like it, could we get a refund if it’s not what we’re looking for? No, unfortunately we don’t offer refunds. Can we at least go in and see it, to see if we’d like it? To see if anyone’s even playing? No, we actually can’t let you into the facility without paying. But there is someone who works here who is a high level player who would know more. Can we talk to him? No, he’s not here. Can you at least call him for us, or give us his number? Sorry I can’t give out his private information. Is there anyone else we can talk to, to address our concerns regarding level of play: how many (if any) players, if there is anywhere cheaper? No, sorry we can’t let you talk to anyone without paying. Is there a website we can look at? A Facebook page, maybe? No, sorry. Okay... so we drive all this way to be told we have to pay all this money or leave. From the way she explained it, I didn’t expect Idaho falls to have anywhere else to play pickleball, which, if you know the sport, is very addictive. So, resisting the urge to just leave, I cave and pay $75 (with tax) to play. Upon entering, I’m glad to see about 20 or so players here. The people are friendly and very surprised to hear about our bad experience. After talking to a few of them, it turns out there is another place to play (more our level of play) that’s FREE! A couple of these lovely members grabbed our contact info so they could get us more connected during our visit (which would have saved us a LOT of headache if we could have done so sooner). A few even went to the staff to see if they could maybe make amends, but, not to our surprise, the staff did nothing. (That same brunette sales rep even walked through the courts later without batting an eye at us). I feel like Apple athletic club took advantage of us because we are out of town. If you are lucky enough, avoid the guy at front with beard and tattoos, and some sales rep lady named “Katie”. Or even better, go somewhere else (although, I do hate to say this because the members themselves are friendly). Albeit to say, whatever reason you are looking to visit Apple Athletic Club, they just want your money.

I love to be outside, but because I cant always escape to places to enjoy XC skiing or hiking, I noticed when I would go do these things- I would be completely sore. Now that I am a member, and have a fitness routine that is super close to my home, I really gained muscle strength to make it further and enjoy hiking/XC skiing that much more. With all the group X classes, Trying them is so fun and they have really helped me with my fitness routine! The Sauna, Steam room and hot tubs are especially nice after that intense work out and always worth it at the end.The Awesome staff, who is always eager to help when I have a question, The amazing equipment and the plethora of fitness classes. I always can find a new class to try because they are all so different. I couldn't suggest a better place.

Great club. They have everything you would want/need. We were just visiting from out of state and our hotel allowed us to workout there. Very nice, clean and very nice staff. They have a section for youth to workout and my son loved it. Very nice basketball and racquetball courts as well.

Excellent faculty and staff. Lynette for spinning and group fitness is the best. She is motivated and really enjoys helping others. Brandon Reed as a trainer is excellent. He is very patient and focused on helping people improve their fitness. Front Desk staff of Sean, Jackie and Nelson and Cayhow (weekends) are very good employees. AAC is lucky to have these individuals on the staff. Best facility in eastern Idaho.

We were previously part of a large gym near Denver, so when we moved back to Idaho Falls I wasn’t sure what to expect from Apple Athletic. What we have found is that our Pilates trainer, Lisa Morton, is every bit as good as anyone we’ve worked with. In fact she works harder on our behalf than the trainers we previously worked with out of state. Lisa is a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader. She has a very solid work ethic, and professionally she pushes her boundaries with continued training. My wife and I have a few physical issues and Lisa is helping us overcome those realistically. Lisa researches ways we can recover from certain injuries and helps us do everything correctly to avoid further self injury. As a coach, she is top notch. She is also doing weight loss coaching with us, and honestly this is the first time we’ve been able to make it work long term. We have also done personal training with her. I enthusiastically recommend Lisa Morton for any of those three areas: Pilates, weight loss and personal training. She is a joy to work with; you know you are working with a leader.

Really enjoy working out at the Apple. I have attended one of Kathleen Kalougata's classes and it was amazing! Super good workout and "Kathy" did a great job with tons of energy and enthusiasm. I really enjoy the "after workout time" in the spa, sauna and pools. A big shout out to the guys who keep the executive locker so clean and stocked with supplies! Thanks Apple for giving me a great reason to workout on a regular basis!

Bad experiance here!! Gym membership plan, gym contract, or a finacial death contract???? I get it you sign a contract ya gotta pay, hehe but even the feds give ya a one time out without a contract!!:) or do they?? Geese I guess ya never know what financial circumstances or bills could hurt ya next the way businesses treat a member, acustomer or even employee.. these days. It would be cool if I could get reduced payments or freeze my account until I sell it. Your just a number to a business sometimes Ironclad contract or not. Gold's Gym is the winner for my situation where they were totally cool about working out a freeze on my contract I ended up with contracts at both gyms. Just wanted to get healthy again. I'll get my account sold ax a wise businessman told me once life gets tough and then ya die!!! Life can't always be an elite perfection of having the best experiances with everything all we can do is try to do better!!

The Apple is a fantastic facility, not just a gym. Its aesthetics are pleasing and the various classes they offer seem endless. League sports, pools, hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, tanning and massage, plus an athletic bar, what more could you ask for?

I was charged a 15 dollar late fee for Apple because my card barely expired. After taking multiple steps to rectify the situation including paying the remaining balance of my account, they wouldn't waive the 15 dollar fee. After paying off my membership and saying I can bring in whatever info from the bank I needed to fix the 15 dollar fee, I wanted them to delete my card so they wouldn't charge for anything else but was told "there is a 20 dollar fee to take the card information out." They continued to say , "card declines happen all the time, but we aren't the department that changes the policies." I then asked for an email confirmation of which payments were authorized during the phone call, and was told "no, it is ridiculous that you would even ask me that." I then said that due to the my friends bad experience with apple I would like some sort of confirmation. They then said, "well we aren't talking about your friends, we are talking about you." I honestly can't believe that they would care so much about money and so little about people. Keep in mind, I had a clean record of payments until the card expired and I called 1 day late. Do not join apple, unless you want screwed over.

I attend spin class at 6AM twice a week with Lynette Kunz. Her class is amazing. Great music and an instructor that pushes you is very motivating. I always get a great workout! Highly recommended.

Excellent opportunities for workouts, great and caring trainers, I'm so impressed with the class for Parkinson's people that Sandy Gordon teaches. Friendly warm staff... My 93 year young mom takes the aquatic exercise and loves it. If there was a 6 star rating I'd give Apple 6 stars!
