Let me start off by saying I love this place and it’s truly great all around, the staff (specially Teresa) are all super friendly, the gym equipment is clean and there’s various different kinds of machines for all parts of your body, they also have a snack/Juice area here, bathrooms are great and parking is spacious, I went to the gym across the road and was the total opposite which made me realize this gym is even better! The price of a day pass is good I don’t see it too high compared to other gyms.

Best gym in Kona by far!...and somehow still one of the least expensive. They just renovated a massive building and have the largest training space with the newest, best equipment. They really cater to the athlete. There is a separate cardio and group fitness facility across the street with private shower rooms and boxing equipment. I cannot speak highly enough about what Chris and Ellen have built.

I was in Kailua-Kona recently for four weeks. I worked out at this gym regularly and enjoyed the staff, other customers, the new equipment and the overall atmosphere. Next time I'm in Kona, I'll be back to Fitness Forever Hawaii. Thanks for the great experience!

The owner kicked me out for using chalk while deadlifting and also accused me of "slamming weights". I travel constantly for work and visit allot of gyms; this is the first time I have ever been kicked out of one. I had no issues when I worked out at Pacific Fitness earlier in my stay in Kona. I keep to myself and I always put my weights away. He also made comments belittling me about how much weight I was lifting. EDIT: Replying to the owner's response here: I didn't leave any weights scattered around, nice try. Nor did I slam weights - impossible to even do when deadlifting on a platform. The only one there who seemed to have any problem with me at all was you; nobody complained, you just picked a fight with me for no apparent reason. It was clearly a powertrip and even your own staff apologized and were embarrased by you. Instead of writing lies about me, try reflecting on why you felt the need to pick a fight with me and apologise.

Trainer *Chris Green* is - by far - the best trainer I have ever worked with. Special shout-out to Donovan and the rest of the smiling staff at the front desk.

Clean, spacious gym with everything I needed for my workout. However, the prices for a week/day are just absurd (still a bit cheaper than the gym next doors though). The day pass was exactly as much as I am used to pay back in Germany for a whole month. Crazy. But what really kind of ruined my workout was the weird off-taste from the water fountain. It was similar to getting a mouthful of the pool water back at the hotel. The staff on the other hand was very friendly and welcoming, so in the end I left the gym with mixed feelings.

Chris Green has worked with me through personal training for my specific body type, and guided me through proper nutritional protocol tailored to my specific goals. Ellen Hiromasa leads our group fitness trainings, which are fun, challenging, and have helped me achieve the maximum results possible.
