Watch out for the hidden fees. Initiation fee + monthly fee + sneaky “annual fee” of $39 charged after 90 days of membership. Disappointing when businesses hit customers with these junk fees. Gym is decent, a bit on the smaller side, with new equipment.

It's a nice gym with friendly staff and owner. They keep it clean and it's never overly crowded with people when I go there. All the equipment is really close together though which makes it hard to kind of walk around the gym. But overall, it is a good place to work out.

I am not at all happy with this Crunch Fitness. If you join and aren't pleased with the services and or move out of State they will make it nearly impossible for you to cancel and avoid being charged. I joined with them and then went out of state to deal with some personal issues and I requested to cancel. When I called the black girl at the front desk was very rude and advised that I could not cancel and that even if I contacted my bank to place a stop on the payment they would continue to charge me unless I came in to cancel. I have since then been charged 2 additional times. I am not at all SATISFIED with the service I received. Most places would want to know why you wanted to cancel and what they could do to prevent you from canceling but not here. NO customer service skills what so ever!

Great staff and better equipment than most of the big box gyms. Even during peak hours they have enough equipment for everyone to use without having to wait much if at all. Definitely a must for olympic and powerlifters, they have good bars and platforms with bumper plates!

Crunch Perimeter is in a great location and is a good alternative to LA Fitness for those that don’t use the pool, basketball or racquetball courts. I like the gym because they have cardio, machine weights and tons of free weights. It’s a well rounded gym with a friendly staff and a focus on keeping the equipment clean. I see it as a great value for what you pay. For you early gym goers - it’s always open on time at 5:00 am during the week.

I joined in a preconstruction deal. Like all gyms, it has good points and bad points. For me, one of the bad points is that there are only two benches. However, two positives are Ohio Power Bars and five squat racks (with platforms) with notches from your ankles to about 7 or 8 feet high. They'll accommodate just about anyone. The gym has tons of dumbbells and some interesting machines, if that's what you're into. Personally, I'm not; pretty much free weights for me. I don't care for much of the music they blast, but I can deal with it. So, overall, it's a fairly decent gym.

The staff is friendly and welcoming every time you walk into the gym which makes you feel good that you are there. I give this gym 3 stars because the cleanliness of the locker rooms continuously is slacking. It doesn’t seem like the employees clean the bathroom very often and that is gross for a highly trafficked public place! I wish Crunch would keep the locker rooms as clean as they keep their cardio machines. I do like Crunch because the energy is always high and the music is great! Not a horrible gym for the low membership price!

Been training here since they opened. I absolutely love it. I’ve had the misfortune of joining other gyms that actually got upset with me for, of all things, jump roping (ahem YouFit). Crunch doesn’t care so long as you’re being safe. As far as equipment goes, fantastic! Prowler sleds, C2 rowers, heavy bags, proper power racks & your typical machines/free weights & kettle bells; will let you get your fitness fix whether you like bodybuilding or crossfit style training. Oh yeah, staff are pretty cool & the place is well maintained. Crunch Perimeter is worth the price of admission.

I signed up for Crunch before the location opened. I was told I could cancel at anytime. I put in to cancel my membership as the gym wasn't what it was cracked up to be. Of course they never canceled it and continued to charge my card. Read your contract carefully as what they tell you and what they actually do are two different things. Not only did they charge my card but when I blocked them via the bank, they changed the charge title and retired again. Even my bank was shocked

This place didn't even open until today, so I don't know how anyone was able to post an honest 3 MONTHS ago. That said, gym is cozy but has good lighting and new equipment. I hope the Dunwoody adjacent neighborhood means the clientele will be conscientious about not leaving sweat everywhere.

This turned out to be a truly good gym, in my case. I only got a day pass, while in town briefly on business; however, from my experience, I can say that this Crunch location is definitely alright. It was comfortably large, and clean (including the men's locker room). The equipment was diverse, and also well maintained. The employee who checked me in was friendly and competent, and he even agreed to validate my pass for a full 24 hours instead of just a calendar day, allowing me to squeeze in another workout before hitting the road. There was a sauna on the premises, too, though a lack of time kept me from giving it a whirl. In the end: no problems, and very satisfying. I'm thankful for this gym and those who operate it, for providing a good place for me to exercise when I needed it. Keep up the fine service :D

They also offer an orientation for as soon as I start to make sure that I understand everything in the gym and reach my goals. If I could give less than one star then I would. I wanted to cancel my membership so I emailed the generic crunch website with a request. I never got any response so I thought things were fine. I got charged for another month. I called into the location and they said okay, we can take care of the cancellation, no worries. I got charged again for the next month. I went into the location and asked for a cancellation. The employee working told me that I should email him with the details from my initial request and he'd make sure I was refunded in full. Great! I got charged for another month. I emailed the manager at my location with the initial request 6 times over 3 weeks before he responded. He told me he'd cancel my membership but that I didn't follow the policy (which requires you to come in to the location to cancel) and that I wasn't owed any refund. So if you're looking to join here, good luck ever canceling or getting straight answers from anyone who works there (if they even know what the correct answers are!)

Excellent multifaceted facility, friendly staff, state of the art exercise machines, something to do for all levels. I am taking yoga classes, core building classes, have awesome personal trainer, learning something new every week. I also get to watch people who find time and effort for staying in shape, it is actually very motivating. I highly recommend this gym, very affordable, great location, accessible through Sandy Springs daily traffic.

Been a member for awhile, facility is great, but I don't get there often. But simply COULD NOT BELIEVE what happened today. My wife and I (both members) took our 14 year old daughter as our guest - her first time there. I just walked around with her, making sure she knew how to raise and lower the seats on the circuit training machines, etc., and offering encouragement like "you got this!" no different than all the bros do on the free weights with their friends. After she finished the circuit we were doing some air squats off to the side, and she was having trouble keeping her balance, so I suggested we walk over to one of the benches so she could do a squat without fear of going too low and toppling over. She does a couple, I'm standing next to her, and a manager or trainer (I guess) comes over and says I'm violating gym policy by acting as a trainer(!) I explained that (a) this was daughter (who by the way is a tiny little thing); and (b) I was NOT training her, just suggesting she try a different exercise and standing near her because she'd never been there before. Like people have done for me a million times, at gyms everywhere. His response was that "no member may train another member under any circumstances," and that I was at risk of losing my membership. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Standing next to my own daughter while she sat down/up on a bench and suddenly I'm a trainer? Full disclosure, I'm a lawyer and completely understand the liability issues of having someone unqualified try to offer training services to people. But if a dad can't suggest his daughter use a bench to squat, or show her how to adjust the seat or change the weight on a machine, well then we've just gone too far. Also, to be clear, there were - as there are in EVERY GYM ON THE PLANET - various couples and friends doing the exact same thing. It's not personal training. It's called "being at the gym with a friend." Crunch, you guys have a cool thing going, but you need to calm down.

I work out every day here. The staff members are friendly, the classes are fun, and there is a great variety of exercise machines and free weights. I worked with a personal trainer, Almina, for six months to get back into shape following my surgery without hurting myself, and she's just amazing in her knowledge and skill working with people of all ages and fitness levels. Plus, the bonus are the two hydromassage chairs at Crunch. A 10 minute healthy, soothing end to my workout. Prices begin at $9.99 for monthly membership.

The worst customer service ever! I called 3 times to cancel my membership! I have been getting charged every time. I emailed multiple times! No response! I spoke to Rachel at the location, addressing me honey and sweety and automatically assuming that I was asking for a refund when all I asked for was not to be charged for the 3rd time but she informed me that she was actually being super nice to me and she doesn’t have to do any of it! And she can’t help me more! I asked to speak to the manager and she told me sorry honey I am the manager! I do not recommend this facility. Synopsis: Personal property ( headphones) were returned to staff by a member, said property was then stolen while in possession of staff. Upon reviewing video footage management indicated that there was a strong suspicion that a particular staff member had stolen the property (as supported by video footage). Management then indicated that I would be reimbursed for the product, considering that it was supported by video that staff was implicated. Management then indicated that ownership counseled him not to do so.

Positive: friendly staff, plenty of staff, great new fitness equipment, convenient location with plenty of free parking in the area. Lots of choices and great workout classes and opportunities. The hydro-massage chairs and tanning booth are nice extras. Negative: locker room is too small. Shower facility too limited. Only 4 showers available in the men's room and 2 of those were out of order for most of last week. The water drainage doesn't seem to work properly either and it takes forever for the warm water to kick in. Another negative is the music in the main gym. Most of the time it's only gangsta-rap what you hear and the only alternative seems to be some old '80s playlist. Missing some good generic modern style workout beats.
