The locker room is a bath house. The manager seemed to encourage impromptu hook-ups. He was 6'6" tall and every-time I showered he would always be there staring at me. He is mean and nasty to his staff. I cancelled before the trial period because he is gross and makes the whole gym gross. 1/2 mile down the road is another gym.... and another...

Before joining Crunch, make sure you understand all of the terms because it can be misleading. I personally wanted to join so I could take the classes. The only ones I could attend would be possibly 630pm and I was intrigued because they advertised as being able to reserve your spot online. I signed up online but called to ask questions before doing so. The plan is advertised as month to month which is wrong. I'll get to that in a second. So I joined and had my online access and tried to signed up for the 630 class but it says this class is not eligible!! Also you have to be there 10-15 minutes ahead to sign in. The whole point of signing up is to reserve your spot and I work til 6 so getting there 15 minutes early isn't an option. Since I didn't plan on using the gym equipment month and the membership was advertised as month to month, I asked to cancel. If you cancel before 3 months, you are charged a fee which was never disclosed when I called originally. They let me transfer to my husband's name but he didn't make time to go so we still wanted to cancel. They said you can contact us after March 18th to cancel and there will be no fee. We call on March 22nd, they tell us to email, husband had to call back to confirm it was being cancelled since no one replied. They said yes. I checked my bank last week and found 2 additional month of charges and one of them had an extra $40+ on it!!!!. I called them and they said it had not been cancelled and that I would have had to cancel before 3/18. They also said the extra fee is the annual fee that you have to pay no matter what. So basically it's misleading because it is not month to month and you have to pay the annual fee even if you cancel. They would only refund one month of the extra charge and refused to refund anything else. The manger Christian or the other guy (can't remember name) was supposed to call me, never did. Since they were not pleasant to deal with, I want to inform others of this so you can be informed before signing up.

The manager is one of the most un respectful individuals I have met. When told him I was upset he basically smiled and cared less for any issues I could have. Ended my contract and he kept this ridiculous smile across his face with out even asking why I was upset. They bring you in with a “deal” then if you try to change it.... all the charges start adding up. Terrible service. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPIRIENCE.

First Crunch is awesome...BUT there is a trainer/boxing instructor that literally looks like a whale on the floor! A trainer is to motivate encourage push and teach and a whole lot more! Nothing about “trainer” SARAH WEYL remotely comes close to portraying a trainer! If a trainer doesn’t respect their own craft enough to get themselves into shape how can the client honestly look at you and be motivated to pay you to get them in shape! Seems to me Sarah Weyl of Johns Creek Crunch needs to invest into a trainer instead of stealing from clients who actually desire to be in shape!

STAY AWAY!!!! TERRIBLE !!!! My daughter joined under some program for students. It required her to be a member for a 60 day minimum. After 60 days, we called and canceled the membership and were told "No Problem - We will take care of it". After a couple months of her continuing to get charged on her card, I called AGAIN and was told "No Problem - We will take care of it". Again a few months go by and she is still getting charged, I CALL AGAIN. This time I tell them I am recording the call (which I was) and that I want the account closed and a credit back to when it was originally supposed to be taken care of. Of course, since I recorded the call, we immediately get the cancellation email, and are told they will "escalate" the issue of returning the 6 plus months of charges. NO CALL BACK. NO FOLLOW UP. She has not been to the gym since last APRIL, which I confirmed with "Aaron" who works at the front desk. This gym, its tactics, and its management are all a complete joke. They take advantage of students as I have heard this same story from other parents. STAY AWAY!

I have enjoyed going to the crunch fitness in johns creek. It is extremely clean and there is a lot of equipment so you never have to spend too much time waiting for something to become available. I appreciate all their cardio equipment as well and it all appears to be brand new. The main issue with this gym is the hours. They do not open until 5:00AM and there is usually a crowd of about 10+ of us that wait outside for the gym to open. I think crunch would benefit from opening at 4 or 4:30. Also they close very early on the weekends. Their hours are why i would cancel my membership and go to another gym. They are very active on Instagram and respond to everything until i message asking about having better hours. They just ignore.

Asked for cancellation.. but they put me on hold and started charging credit card with out any notice. please read any document before signing for them.. they will talk fast and made you to be in hurry while signing and started charging your card without your notice.. very much disappointed on this gym.. please think before joining with them..worst customer care..

Management is mediocre in a nut shell. Equipment if ok and always full. Even at lunch time. In my situation, I have to escort my wife to the door so she can sign in as a guest " and I pay the premium rates" so she can work out. So in a nut shell I have to bring my new born and my wife escort her to the door. What is the difference if she uses my card to just go an work out. Anyhow Management You Can Do Better. You just lost me as a member and 6 of my workout partners. Congrats!!!

I was trying decide if I should get a membership here but after the one experience I had with the manager, Vince.... I’m never stepping foot in there again. I was going to sign up with 3 other people! His attitude turned me away for good. I told them I was interested and just because I didn’t want to sign a contract right then and there he got upset and sent me on my way. Didn’t even get to try out the equipment. I was planning on going back to sign a contract by the end of the week but not anymore. Not with that managers attitude.

Great gym! The gym was completely renovated after they acquired it from the previous owners and all the equipment is brand new except for the Hammer Strength machines which are top quality. The staff is super friendly and the membership is much cheaper compared to other gyms. I generally don't like change from my daily routines and was not very thrilled when I first heard that Crunch had purchased the gym from the previous owners but all the changes that have been have been very positive and the place looks so much better now.

I’m so glad I found Crunch a few weeks ago. I’ve been a member of several gyms in the past and Crunch surpasses them all. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and always in a good mood. I get a warm greeting EACH TIME I walk through the door and as I leave. That makes ME feel good and look forward to working out and being around positive people. The staff genuinely seems to love what they do and care about their clients. The equipment is clean and newer. I don’t have one negative thing to say! I can’t believe I’m paying so little for such a great experience!

Absolutely the best gym I have been too, top notch customer service and they have everything you need ... from powerlifting equipment,treadmills to the beginners just starting out!!! Unfortunately, they decided to cancel the daycare starting Aug. 1... so I will have to cancel and find another gym. Wish them the best!! Canceled today and it was easy and painless, even got an email confirmation before I left !! Sad to go, but I understand the business aspect!! Best of luck to the crunch employees!!

They used to have 3 working water fountains, One water fountain was removed and the other 2 don’t have enough pressure for both to work at the same time. There used to be 3 rows of TV’s above the exercise machines but now there is only one row of machines. The music is usually playing so loud it covers/masks the music on your own head phones. Lately the “music” is not playing so loud you can actually hear what’s going on.

This is literally the best gym around! Not only for the price but the atmosphere as well. The staff was so friendly and helpful when I went in. I struggle with social anxiety so even walking in the door was hard for me. They made me feel welcome and didn't pressure me into buying. They helped me make an informed decision on which membership to get based on what I like to do. I even got a free session with a trainer to help me get started! (Which was great since I had never really worked out before) I highly recommend going and checking it out if you're looking for a gym! You will NOT be disappointed!

Evidently this location is under new management , some guy name Vince who doesn’t know how to treat his customers. This location has really gone down hill since it opened . Worst exit experience. They convince you to freeze your account instead of cancelling. And if you still want to cancel you'll be charged for entire month after freeze period as you can not cancel within 10 days. Beware to record all your conversations that you have with all staff members as they seems to forget what they said. Had a bad experience even though you were a Plus account holder.

I've been going for a few months now and I can say I've never been to a gym like this - incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff, a mind-blowing amount of equipment (including punching bags!), long hours of operation, and great classes and programs to get into if that's your type of workout. Plus, at only $10 for a basic membership, it was a no-brainer for me. I've invested in the $30 Peak Pass which offers a useful wealth of extra perks I recommend looking into. Overall, a gym so far unmatched in my book.

I have not seen a worse gym until I came back here earlier this year. At first, this gym was a place I would love to come workout but recently there must have been a change in management in which has led to the poor state of the facility. My recent visit, there has been NO TOILET PAPER, PAPER TOWELS TO WIPE MACHINES DOWN, AND OVERALL CLEANINESS OF THE FACILITY. I hate to do this but I'll be cancelling my membership and going to an L.A Fitness location.

The manager Vince is the rudest person I know. They don’t get to know their members!! I have been a member over 10 years and Vince threatened to cancel my membership bc I did not have my card which is a norm bc I am so busy trying not to be late for training. I spend lots of money training and he doesn’t care that I could go somewhere else but I am loyal. They treat their customers terrible. I have never been greeted with a smile when I walk into the gym and the front desk employees change weekly !!!

Probably the most worthy gym around this area. Only $9.99 a month for basic active member(includes all the lifting area and treadmills). And it is cost free after frozen the account, not like Lifetime fitness. For equipment, they have everything, literally everything you need for a gym. If you are only looking for lifting and treadmills. Then here is the most pricewise place you find. I strongly recommend Crunch fitness and their friendly staff to you!

I recently joined because I work near by and it’s very convenient. The gym is perfect for the types of work out I do, and they have great equipment from free weights and machines to cardio equipment. And you can’t beat their membership prices. My only complaint would be the locker rooms. I shower and go to work straight from there, and ever since I joined about 3-4 weeks ago one out of only four showers has been broken since with big yellow caution tape across it. Lastly would be cleanliness in the locker rooms. There’s always clumps of hair on the floor of the shower and strung on the walls, and there was even a day when there was a DEAD ROACH in the shower. May have been alive, but I didn’t want to find out so I switched showers. Other than the cleanliness of the locker rooms, this gym is great and convenient for the price.

Every day I come into Crunch and I use their equipment, which is super good for the price! They also have classes and you can go to all of the crunches in the state! Seth G is the best employee here, he smiles all the time and he helps me by suggesting more rigorous workouts! He is very personable and I recommend you coming in and saying hi to him! The only qualm I have is that the assisted pull up machine is one where you stand instead of having a plush cushion to kneel and do pull ups.

Can't get the annual fee back even when I'm cancelling only 8 days into the "year." Vince, the manager, was absolutely rude and in responding to my comment about him not needing to be rude to my question, he said I was getting the attitude because I didn't trust the front desk manager and he had to be pulled from doing his morning report to talk to me. I told him that's no way to treat his clients under any circumstances. No manager should start a sentence with "You are getting my attitude because..." What a great customer service!

Huge benefits over the nearby dead and dull Life Time. You lose towel service but gain triple the equipment and a much better atmosphere. Though, I was told there was towel service for some members. Life Time is more a child care facility and overpriced cafe with a gym on top. There is nothing significant about Life Time's equipment; it's actually just sad considering the monthly dues. Crunch has an endless number of machines and many, many, many power cages. This is more a serious lifter's gym versus a lollygagger's gym.

Today I had my crunch membership canceled @ my Johns Creek location. I was bringing in a a new friend how is completely new to crunch to try out the gym in hopes he would join the gym with me to start working out together alone with some other friends. In the past when I first join and when I brought my wife to try out the club, everyone at the front desk was very professional and helpful. Today unfortunately for both parties, my friend and I encountered someone name VINCE who was to say the least extreme unprofessional, he denied my friends request for a 1 day pass for first time customers and said the only way he could get in was to either sign up for a membership right on the spot or to pay $15 for a 1 day pass. I told vince that no one has ever said this to me or any of my other friends who are currently members of the gym. Vince did not tell us that we could go to the website and fill out a form to get a one day pass on the spot or anything. It seem like he did not want to attract new customers. Just wanted to let you guys know about the inconvenience we had with this particular individual which by the way he said he started working there last Friday June 1, 2018 and when asked to speak with a manager He said he was the manager. If he really is the manager I think that is something to pay close attention at because his way of handling situation and his attitude sure are not welcoming at all and are not suitable for a business with a slogan that tries to embody positivity and inclusivity. From potentially gaining a new customer to losing 2. that's not good math right there. So if you are someone new and thinking to try out this gym and you have the bad luck to run into VINCE..... RUN just RUN away as fast as you can .

AVOID this location at all cost . I tried numerous times to cancel my membership in person and they kept referring me to their online corporate website. No one was willing to help me cancel my membership. In May 2018, I received an email from the gym stating that I owe them some money, I spoke to the manager and he told me he was gonna take care of it . I haven’t heard from him since then . I can’t tell how surprised was I when I found out They sent me to collections, claiming I owe them over $250 of unpaid balance . When I came in the gym last week to speak to the manager and try to solve this issue , he was extremely rude and literally laughed at my face. They are scammers, and highly unprofessional.

Cancellation is horrible. I have with witnessed with a customer first hand. They are very unprofessional and it is a rip off. I recommend you not to go to this place. The service is horrible and the workers named Crystal and Kyle made a so called error and took money out of the account after they cancelled. This place does not know how to conduct business. DO NOT JOIN!! And everyone who is rating 5 stars, you will understand soon enough when it comes to the time to cancel. Enjoy your experience because I sure as hell didn’t.

Exercise facility is decent. I would rate it a solid B-. Locker rooms are terrible and hot water has not been working with any regularity for months. Can't wait for LA Fitness to open in Peachtree Corners. That will be the end of Crunch for me.

To be fair this place deserves more stars but with that one particular incident really made me think twice. As a college student we can freeze our accounts up to 6 months free with no monthly charge. However, I froze my account since it’s time to head back to school. Crunch did the paperwork for me and said I won’t get charged for the month of August ( the month I freeze my account) until I come back. Guess what, they not only charged me this month but also never called me back or emailed me back when I tried to contact them multiple times. Ask yourself this, would you like to join a gym that is dishonest and pay for things that you don’t even use? That is just not right!

It's a decent place. A decent selection of equipment, no pool. Cleanliness is okay. Sometimes you may smell heavily clorax. Staff is okay as well. It's one of the cheapest subscriptions so you get what you pay for.

I never expected to love a gym, but I love Crunch. They have a slew of machines to choose from and good hours. Their guest policy is fantastic! My fitness journey has inspired my fiance to come in with me and the guest policy hasn't limited his journey in anyway. They also have really fun classes, like Pound with the high energy instructor, Renee. Also want to take this opportunity to give a shout out to Javonne Cann. He is a personal trainer who is clearly passionate about helping people reach their goals and genuinely cares about the long-term health of his trainees. He is always super encouraging, supportive, knowledgeable, and definitely holds accountability close, without being a Drill Sargent. I've only been training with him for a month and have seen great results! It is motivating to come in and have a trainer who is a coach and cheerleader. I could keep going about how awesome he is, but I think it would better to find out for yourself!

Yes, they have good prices. But 9¢ down payment is not true and they don’t explain that. They just want you to sign the contract and after 5 days they charge you the real down payment , which is not bad, is only 25 dollars but again THEY DONT EXPLAIN YOU THAT. I paid 9¢ and supposedly that covers 5 days so you can Decide if you like it or not. I did not . My boyfriend and I called to cancel it, they told us we just had to go and sign the cancelation letter. We went and because the manager wasn’t there we couldn’t do it. They made us write a letter explaining why we wanted to cancel it , and the guy said that should be fine. Next day they call us saying that’s not enough. They said “you have to print the whole contract and write a letter “. We printed the contract which is really long and we rewrote the letter . My boyfriend calls asking if it is okay for him to just drop off my letter and contract because I was busy and they said yes. He went and when he got there the manager told him I had to Be there to sign something else . ALSO, they told my bf they sent us the agreement NOT THE CONTRACT, and that we didn’t received the correct email , so i wasted my time and money printing something that was not correct. Very unprofessional, unorganized and a waste of your time . I give them two starts just for the prices

Poor mgmt. don’t think they really care about members. The only benefit of this gym over similar ones was the sauna and the redesign has left it worse instead of better so this is no longer a retaining factor. It’s incredibly crowded all the time, so make sure you time your workout or you’ll be waiting for every machine you need unless it’s a treadmill. If you want childcare you’ll have to pay quite a bit extra even if your spouse is already paying for childcare on their membership, so basically you’ll be paying for double the kids.

I finished my workout and wanted to use the hydro bed. The manager makes me wait as he keeps talking to prospective members, and guys wanting guest passes. All he has to do is to activate the machine which takes 2 seconds ...all he dies is he keeps helping people as they come in. How rude can you be to a person who is already a member since day 1!!!

Really wanted to rate 5 stars but I was put off by the new rule banning the use of benches on the upgraded power rack platforms. The old power racks allowed me to safely do bench presses without needing a spotter. I notified the gym of my concern through a survey I thought was anonymous but the gym owner replied to me by name and merely said "Thanks for the feedback...I have marked this for review in our system..." I will now be switching to a gym that allows me to use a bench in the power rack. If you don't care about bench pressing in a power rack, this gym is for you. You can't beat the price and quality of equipment.

We just joined today. It's a good deal if you consider access to Aquatic Center. Looks like there is plenty equipment. Music a bit too loud, but staff is friendly and not pushy, which helped us to seal the deal. I like that you get access to multiple locations. I think there's potential, they will be delivering new equipment. And they have end of month parties. My 12 year old loved it and that means a lot to me :)

Finally, a gym with more than 2 squat racks. I like the variety of machines and equipment especially for how cheap the membership is. The staff is polite and not pushy like I've had with other gyms. The sauna does not seem to work.

If you are looking for a gym that has friendly service, a welcoming atmosphere and has everything you could possibly need in a gym, this is the place to be! The brand new equipment, the awesome staff and diverse selection of groups fitness classes is amazing! Not to mention the price is so affordable, and that is just an added bonus. I can't imagine finding a better place to workout, see friendly faces and feel comfortable asking for advice. Definitely worth a visit to check it out for yourself!

An ok gym that gets the job done for most, however not all. Bench racks only have two settings for rack height which aren't the best, would highly recommend getting benches with adjustable rack heights. Squat racks seem to be limited to bumper plates, so weight only goes up to roughly 500lbs. For powerlifting, wouldn't be my top choice for training location.

I love going to this place and I live around 20 minutes away. I've been going to crunch fitness for about a year now. I cancelled my membership but came back because I missed it. They have multiple squat racks and a station specifically for deadlifting at this specific one. They have multiple machines for cardio and their bathrooms (at least the men's since I can't go to the women's) are kept tidy and clean. They also have saunas if you need them. My favorite part is the turf and the unlined monkey bars that come in all their gyms I'm pretty sure. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for the more all around athletic gym or just to lift weights.

I recently joined this gym after being fed up with the rude people and filthy equipment at my former gym. I love Crunch! The staff is so so friendly every time I go there, and I love all of their more unique equipment that my old gym either didn't have or made people have personal training to even use. This gym is clean and well managed. There is plenty of each machine or free weight which was also a huge problem at the gym I used to go to. I just wish I had switched sooner.

The facility has such an amazing variety of equipment, the classes are super motivating! They are really proactive when you suggest a way to improve. The classes are amazing. I love a Sherrie and Joanna!! Literally my favorite classes, we use weights and cardio. Perfect workout! Only down side is they don't encourage people to wipe down equipment or mats when they are done using it. Some people will sweat all over a fitness mat and then re hang it, without even wiping it down

This used to be a good place with good customer service, but lately with the recent management, it has gotten worse with new rules and regulations to weightlifting/powerlifting. It's as if they are specifically targeting certain groups of people just to piss them off. If a business like the EAV barbell club were to drive out military vets (not speaking on a political matter) because they didn't like them, this would be a similar case. Crunch should welcome all forms of lifting and should not discriminate because they didn't like so and so.

This Place is Great! In all my years of working out and playing college football, this place has everything, and I can't believe its only $10/month! I personally have the $24 dollar one which gets me pretty much everything. I can bring a guest everyday, Tan, Hydro Massage and classes which I don't use but my wife does!! I have the peak plus membership and it is worth it by all means. I go with a guest at no charge. I always use the bumper plates and perform olympic weightlifting moves. There is always plenty of space for us to train early in the morning. We also go to the yoga classes and frequently use the dry sauna. You can't beat that for $25 a month. The staff is very nice.

I need to start my review off by saying this is a great facility, and it was highly recommended by friends who have been in the fitness industry or apart of the fitness community for a good porion of their lives. Having visited the gym on several occasions as guest I decided to purchase a membership with this club recently. I have been extremely happy with my purchase. Today though, I had one of the strangest encounters I've ever had with a gym employee. To give some context, I've been a member of several different gyms over the past decade and had great relationships with staff at said gyms. This leads me to my next point, I maintain what I like to think of as good gym etiquette because I primarily re-rack my weights and clean up after myself on any equipment I use, but as with all things sometime you slip up and forget rack your weights, etc. But never have I had an employee approach me, calling me "Bro" on several occasions during the conversation, and then go on to state the employees there do not get paid to re-rack the weights, and advised me to rack my weights. I did so without any complaints. I probably would have not felt so strongly about it, but it was the manner in which the employee approached me and communicated his request today. It has me asking several questions, who is responsible for maintaining the facility? Is it the customers responsibility to maintain said facility? Please advise when you have an opportunity because I believe without a shadow of a doubt this is not what the gym represents.
