It's a gym... lol. Ummmm... they hit you with sneaky fees. I had to end my membership a looonnngg time ago.

Better than having nothing. Tendency to close without much warning, for "maintenance." And, many things have not been improved or "maintained" in my years there (torn med balls, warped barbells, lose/frayed rower straps, etc.). There main focus seems to be on their college campus location, unfortunately.

I love Gold's Gym :)

GREAT HEALTHY WORKOUT GYM. Go with FRIENDS and FAMILY members. Just get it DONE . THANKS

The only thing that stands out about this gym is the guy behind the front desk that waves at you and says, "have a good workout, sir!" on your way in. If it weren't for him I'd give a 1/5 partially because the gym itself is pretty mediocre, but more so because they water down the soap in the bathroom and that pisses me off

WE HAVE HAD AN UP AND DOWN RELATIONSHIP OVER THE YEARS. I WAS A CLIENT WHEN THEY OWNED WOMENS WORLD ON THOMASVILLE ROAD. THEN AGAIN WHEN THEY HAD THEIR LOCATION ON APALACHEE PARKWAY BUT IT CLOSED AND I WAS SENT TO NORTHSIDE. OVER THE YEARS WE HAVE HAD OUR DISAGREEMENTS ABOUT FEES AND OTHER THINGS BUT TODAY THEIR FRONT DESK CALLED TO LET ME KNOW I HAD 2 TRAINING SESSIONS THAT WERE ABOUT TO EXPIRE (THANKS TO KENDALL M.) AND MY FAITH AS BEEN RESTORED! ITS NOT THE NEWEST MOST ADVANCED PLACE IN TALLY BUT IT DOES HAVE EXCELLENT PPL ! PROPS TO GOLDS

Edit: This gym has been struggling. Unclean, equipment in disrepair, and not true 24 hours. After the December Gold's equipment fee steal, they better have new equipment. STEP IT UP. Especially for New Year's, this is disappointing. --------- Their workout music choices are awful! This morning they played the following in order: All of Me - John Legend White Flag - Dido Drops of Jupiter - Train Hey Ya - Outkast This is a gym, not a Department Store.

I left FSU/Tally in 2013. Just in the past month this gym has reached out to me saying I have a $220 debt with them that is going to be sent to collections. I don't recall this charge and I am not going to pay it. Contacting me four years later feels like a scam, how can I know it isn't some made up charge? Reading the other reviews sounds like this gym has really gone downhill since I went there. Seems like from reviews they now commonly scam people so be warned.

Alex Brown

The staff is so nice we got an awesome deal!!!!

Tiffany Bailey

Needs new equipment desperately, every other treadmill makes a noise, employees are polite.

Lukas Trotter

Now I understand all of these complaints about them failing to cancel and charging all of this money months later to be sent to collections. I supposedly owe over 200 dollars when I haven't been to this gym in a year and canceled way back then. Very unprofessional and rude. I am getting many emails from whoever the manage there is right now. Don't want your time. This place is a scam and are very pretty.

Great workout

For anyone out there looking for comprehensive review of Gold's gym University location, I will try to cover all the pros and cons that may be left out by other reviews. I have been going to this Gold's location for over 2 years now, and it is a great place as long as you understand everything ahead of time. Many people complain that they were continually charged after they requested to cancel, but to anyone who read their contract it states that you must cancel your contract within 30 days of leaving, or you will incur one extra billing cycle. If you understand this then you will have no issue, you just need to cancel ahead of time. I have also heard people complain about the steps for cancellation, however I went through the simple process on the website and it processed just fine (just answer a couple of questions, no faxing or anything required). The gym has a vast number of machines, both strength and cardio for every part of your body, so you need not worry about getting a good workout. I would, however, recommend staying away from the 4-8PM rush if you do not want to risk waiting for machines, but this is typical for many gyms, and especially one located in a city like Tallahassee and right by a huge University. Personally I never have much trouble getting my workout even during rush hours. For women there is even a women's fitness area which I normally never see very crowded either, so you have a backup plan if the rest of the gym is crowded. The staff is friendly. I have never had a negative experience with any staff except once when I first began, and after a week or so he was no longer working there. The tanning beds are nice and clean and there are enough that you don't have to worry about waiting for one to become available normally. If you want to bring a guest, you are able to do so under their more expensive membership, although be aware that they do require that guest to have a Tallahassee ID. There are tons of classes offered and they offer personal training sessions as well for a price. There are also a lot of college students who work out here (no surprise) and come in many varities, so be sure to expect that as well. If you are on on of their premium memberships and need to travel, you get a certain amount of gym passes to other Gold's outside of Tallahassee (I think about 14 passes) per year. You can also visit any other Tallahassee location as many times as you want, which is nice. Just be aware that their 9.99 plan does not cover this option I don't believe. Also, once a year Gold's will charge a $50 enhancement fee to every member, but the locations do continue to enhance their gym's so this is not necessarily a scam. Personally I would recommend this gym to just about anyone. Just be sure to get all the info you can regarding your contract so you know exactly what to expect and plan ahead for, and see if there are any promotional offers to save you some money. For $10-20 a month with no commitment it is a great price for a great gym, and I do not plan on leaving anytime soon!

I’ve been going to this golds for the past 3 years since I’ve moved to Tallahassee. They have everything you need and more. The staff is friendly and helpful and do a great job of keeping it clean.

Justin Metcalfe

Customer service is absolutely terrible and the upper management staff has no clue how to handle themselves professionally. The staff could benefit from a lesson on customer service. In addition, the equipment is almost always broken and when you bring it to their attention, they put your concerns to the back-burner. Choose another gym where they actually know what customer service is and how to treat customers.

Joseph Davis

Been going here for close to year now. Great variety of machines and a lot of dumbbell stations. I rarely have to wait. Perfect hours for a student or working professional year-round.

This is your only warning - join any other gym besides Gold's Gym in Tallahassee! They act so kind and helpful when you're signing up, but once you try to cancel they will become rude, unprofessional, and down right mean. I was charged for three months after canceling my membership and when confronting a manager about it was waved off and told he "didn't have time to deal with me" and to "go on my way". Disgusted by the treatment of the staff and lack of professionalism at this location.

I’ve had a membership to golds for the past three years now and it’s been nice on the days I need a quick workout and can’t make it to the FSU gym. At home I have an LA fitness membership and there is a huge difference in the gyms. The staff has always been nice, and they recently started getting better about having paper towels to wipe down equipment, but I have had some problems. I called a couple months ago to cancel my membership, and they referred me to the website to cancel it. After thinking I cancelled it, I continued to get charged and just let it go thinking “whatever I’ll just use it when I need to”. I even got a confirmation email that it was cancelled and still continued getting charged- which seems really wrong to me because I think they were definitely trying to take advantage. Also, I really like working out in the women’s center and a couple months ago they got rid of a couple machines- before they had machines for every muscle. I asked one of the guys at the desk what had happened and he told me that it was more for “abs and butt”. LOL not the vibe I would’ve thought golds gym would’ve been enforcing. Overall, it’s a fine gym though.

Joe Caswell

Some of the dudes working the front desk are morons. Equipment looks and operates like it was before World War 2. If you have no other option you can get the workout you need in, but it’s not a good vibe

Toby Chapman

Unsure if it still open so it is unfair for me to rate

Staff is horribly ignorant and just want the free memberships. Terribly rude and unprofessional when handling any question signing up. Know little to nothing about healthy living or exercising or their gym or their machines. I joined looking for a well known brand machine, staff had no clue what I was talking about, turns out the machines are directly across from the front desk. Absolutely nothing special about this place unless you're on 'roids or want to look like such.

Tyiarra Griffin

been going here for a year and a half and i love it. the staff is nice and helpful.

I am sure that for some, this gym is great, but I would not recommend coming to THIS particular Gold’s. A roommate and I won three free months with the gym, in order to start this 3 month trial, we needed to pay the application fee. This process in itself went well, Eric was very nice and helpful. However, I did not use the membership and time was coming to cancel. My roommate cancelled and I cancelled a week later, ALL BEFORE THE THREE MONTH TRIAL ENDED. Neither of us received a confirmation email and assumed that was the end. Since then, I have been charged for TWO more months and for something referred to as gym upkeep, my roommate was not and has not been charged. I called to get this handled, was given a number for Billy that NO ONE answered at any time (mornings, evenings, week days, and weekends). I was told that I clearly never cancelled because I was supposed to get a confirmation email, but again, my roommate never received one and has not been charged, so how would I know that I should receive this email? I went to the gym and talked to someone and was told to leave my information and that I would be called. This never happened and has not happened yet. My money is already gone, but honestly, save your time, take your money elsewhere. There are better gyms with more professional and courteous staff.

Best gym in town

Don't be deceived! If you're not a student, don't even bother. I love giving reviews! But if they're bad, I typically ALWAYS keep my opinion to myself.... But I feel my review is important & should be shared. Tally may be a college town, but it's also my home town. Even more reason to share. If this gym wants to focus only on college students.... Step up, be fair- reasonable, do not mislead others. Oh, also guys...

Fernando Garcia

Visit this place almost on a daily basis. Management is great. Facilities are kept in very good shape. I wish they kept the fan in men lockers at all times.

Richy Hidalgo

It’s a great place for a good work out. Classes are led by energetic coaches. There is plenty of equipment in working order. Convenient location. Want to add fitness to your day or night? Try Gold’s!

Michael McBride

Great gym. The best deal in tallahassee.

Rachel Erb

I've trained in some outstanding gyms over the years, so my standards are pretty high. That said, I prefer meathead gyms as they are a joy to train in, but this one has some problems. I mostly lift weights and this gym has some decent equipment, but could stand to add a few more plate loaded pieces for leg and back training to reduce waiting times for frequently used equipment. The cardio area needs to be curated--there are far too many arc trainers that are hardly used during peak hours and take up valuable space. Strict rules need to be enforced in order to create an enjoyable experience, lest current members will take their business elsewhere. For example, no one should have to waste 10 minutes tracking down a set of dumbbells because someone did not put them back in their place. This is far too common and is incredibly frustrating for members. Please don't assume people know proper gym etiquette and post rules everywhere! I'll end on a positive note: the staff are great...including Eric.

The Manager of this Gym is just as careless as anyine can be. He is making this gym look bad. After 3 times I requested to cancel my membership, I still got charged AGAIN.

Only go here because its rarely ever crowded.

if I could give this 0 stars I would. they had me sign a "month to month" contract. I had to switch credit cards after 2 months and came in to talk to a manager about stopping payments on my account. he said there was no problem and they would do that right away. it's 6 months later now and I have a collection agency telling me I now owe over $300 because I never closed my account with them. no one ever contacted me from there to let me know any of this and i will now never recommend anyone to sign anything with this gym.

Smoke Bellew

Legendary gym. Equipment is not the latest, no much new things.

Best gym ever

Beyr Hans

The night manager Eric is rude and unprofessional, I have had several dealings with him just going about my workout that have soured my experience there. Previously I even tried to get a friend to sign up so we could workout together but Eric ruined everything by giving him a crappy deal, getting angry when my friend was unsatisfied with the price and telling him he could go workout somewhere else if he didn't like it and on top of that criticizing his commitment and strength for not signing up. His unprofessional attitude and arrogant and unwelcoming demeanor lost him not only my friends potential membership, but mine as well. This was months ago, I now work out at another gym and the difference in staffing is night and day. Gold's has a lot more equipment than it used to due to the Appalachee Gold's closing, but the free weights are rusty and run down. Even in Tallahassee you can do better. Find someplace that actually wants to earn and keep your business and cares about the members.

I have a great experience with gold's Gym even as a guest. I was introduced to a product by the name of Down size Black and so far it has given me great results. I also love the women's fitness room. It is not too basic but it enough to push you to where you want to be. This gym is always cleaned or being clean. It's a diverse environment and if you don't know how to do something, the staff is willing to help. Great job Gold's

Love this place! The atmosphere rocks!

Peter Rittman II

Gym is ok, but the hours for this gym sucks seriously. Should be at least 24 hrs half the week something so o can get it in any time.

Cassie Bentley

I have been a member of golds now for 2 years and am very unhappy. I have had staff hit on me while working out and make me feel very uncomfortable, and I have had on several occasions where I trip randomly through the gym because of the random cement sticking from the floor with no signs to indicate it as a hazard. I feel like I am paying double the amount of a normal gym and for what.. rusted weights. I have given Golds a chance and continue to be let down.

Shaun Jeffrey

I go here everyday and I've never had a problem with cleanliness or help from the staff. The trainers are experts and everyone is respectful of your space and your workout. I love this place and it's the best gym I've visited in the area. Many machines and benches so you can always find an area to workout in.

Shan Howard

You should definitely read these one star reviews before signing up. I didn't. I figured, "What's the worst that could happen? I don't mind a cancellation fee." As one reviewer stated, they are really cool until you try to cancel. The five-star reviews are from people who haven't canceled yet. I've been trying to cancel for about a months now, but my trainer won't do it! I signed up to learn the basics about about fitness training. I got great results by working with her for a month and a half. I put on four pounds of muscle. Awesome! And she is great with the exception of this issue, which I'm sure is just a result of the policies of this particular Gold's Gym. During our training, I also found out I was prone to fainting if I either over or under ate that day. We couldn't finished about 25 percent of our sessions because of this. Between working full-time and getting my master's, I didn't have time to meticulously watch my diet, too. So, I told her I wanted to cancel. She talked me into freezing the account instead, and I tried to keep going, but I kept nearly fainting during the sessions, like five minutes in. I figured I'd come back in August when I had time to plan out my diet more carefully, and my classes aren't so crazy. But she literally still would not cancel. "We froze your account!" was the response I just received when I asked her once again to cancel my sessions. I was going to come back, but this is pretty deterring. Besides that, the gym itself is low quality. The equipment is old, and the sound system is always malfunctioning. It sucks that there are no other gyms in the area. They are way too overpriced for what they offer.

Neil Black

I came by and had the workout I needed.

Vicki Brian

Eric the manager is awful. I used to work for a Golds’s gym (not this one) so I know what they stand for. He has a temper and is very rude. What a shame he works for an amazing name.

K Parmelee

Not a single towel container filled. People were not wiping equipment off. Staff seemed more about hitting on the customers than anything else. The music was louder than when I had my headphones on. Cable attachments spread out everywhere!

Alex Trejo

I love this place so far. I didn't go in planning on signing up right away, but the membership director Cameron was very nice and helped me out. The place is huge compared to every other place I've visited, and most important has a ton of free weights haha. If you go ask for the membership director, although the whole staff has been very helpful so far.

Michael Settinerij

I have been going to Golds Gym on Pensacola for over 10 years. Great staff and ownership who always are helpful. No frills, bright colors, or filler that makes you feel like you are in Pee Wee's Playhouse. Just give me the equipment and weights I need to have a great workout and that's what this gym provides.

lawrence gonzalez

Easy atmosphere, solid workout, and really cool gym rats. I love the place. Late nights are great since the place is freer and all the items are way more open and available.

Grant Fawaz

This is my first month at Gold's, and I love the place. It has a great, serious atmosphere, nice genuine emplpyees, and good equipment (maybe a little aged, but MUCH variety - they offer more for bodybuilders than the Leach). I see a lot of people complaining about being charged after they cancel, being charged for 3 months when they sign up, and being charged for the annual fee. However, they informed me about all that when I signed up. You must fill out a cancellation form a month ahead of time (just like at EVERY gym), you have a one time a year extra fee for improvement of the gym, and an initiation fee. BY THE WAY a $100 initiation fee is NOT BAD. My last gym charged $300 AND $35 a month instead of $25. Gold's manager even gave me a 50% discount on the fee when I signed up. So, my experience has been great so far. I really, really like it. It reminds me of back home by Eglin AFB - a lot of serious gym rats.

Only give 1 star because there is not a minus 100 stars. DO NOT join this gym. Very shady business practices & fraudulent charges on your credit card. Complaints/calls never returned. Managers 100% non-response. Go anywhere else but here!

Jason Frankenfield

Wide selection of equipment and plenty of people in there that'll help you reach your goals

Aleigha Rodriguez

Josh birch

I have been here 2 months, so far so good. 5 stars.

Sean Newton

This used to be a decent gym until recently. A gym is a place of business, you go there to work and better yourself. To the most of the faculty it's a social gathering of drama queens - get you some headphones and mind your own business or get ready to deal w attitude from the front desk - people skills are non existent at this gym. Yesterday one of the managers promised to honor their commitment of allowing guest for the rest of the month and today the other manager flip flopped and decided not to honor that commitment. #IntegretyDisability

Bruno Vasconcelos

Peter Demon Gunn

I've been going here for a few years now and I will say I've always loved the environment. The staff has always been cool with me, the equipment may not be perfect and new but they are weights who cares if they are shiny. My biggest problem is the hours being cut back especially Friday through Sunday. If the gym was open long on these days I'd give it a 5 star ask day long.

Steve Roberts

They have mostly treadmills, limited cardio equipment. Limited machines, always stupid busy. And the staff is standoffish. I drive across town to use the other ones, even though this one is less than a mile away from me.

Taylor Tegarden

Awsome staff, always clean and filled with positive people !

R Strobel

Too expensive

Joy Yang

This is the worst gym. Some of the machines miss a seat. Everything is very old. The customer services are unprofessional. I had a 3 month membership, but only went there for one or two weeks, they charged me 3 months' fee. Then half a year later, after I cancel the membership. They charged me a annual fee. The never mentioned that before.

Austin Mccarty

I’ve been lifting here for the past 3 years now and have nothing but positive things to say. The staff are are amazing, the gym is clean, and i love the old school bodybuilding vibe. This gym is open 24 hours a day and is a great place to reach your fitness goals.

Nick Burnett

Jimbo Fisher

The jungle as I like to call it. It's the last of a dying breed of real traditional gyms. Most modern gyms are too gentle, soft, and a need for silence! ?!? So if you're not to serious working out, go elsewhere please and let the animals roam in the "Jungle"!! The environment alone gets me hype! ! Real work, real gym, real results! !!

Gabriel Vasquez

Lauren Walker

Love this place Gabby is amazing! Ask for Gabby to be your personal trainer you won't regret it!

Mike DeFeudis

Great atmosphere, really a family vibe. Owner is personal and gets directly involved with the members, definitely a rarity. This university club has a unique old school feel but has a variety of areas to train depending on your style. Avoid the corporate feel of a Planet Fitness and check the place out.

Danny M

Jonathan Dean

Good environment to focus. The people are nice. You have your normal gym dbags, but I'm not there every day lol

John Karamitsanis

Really cool gym atmosphere, nice staff, and great environment to lift in. Would recommend to anyone that doesn’t have a gym membership somewhere yet.

Rachel Rosen

I really enjoy the atmosphere at Gold's. There are tons of machines and equipment readily available and the trainers and staff are all very friendly and helpful. I also like that they are open pretty late.

Kiran Shrestha

Great ambiance!

Rick Yarznbowicz

I like the extended hours. Staff is usually rude, like the Gold's Gym on Capital Circle.

Shonboo Crawford

Thrtn13 Xela

Apart from the tremendous amount of "bros", management has a lack of maintaining a clean and orderly environment. Wi-Fi doesn't work, the sales people pay close attention to the women and forgo any customer service to anyone with a membership. The rules are not enforced people come without towels drop the weights and don't rerack what they use. It isn't any wonder why golds went from three locations to one.

Alessandra Eplin

Gold's Gym is a great place to start! I never thought I would like going to the gym until I started here. There is a whole lot of different equipment. They have a nice lockers and showers. There is a Women's Fitness Center. If you are a girl it is very nice to be able to go where there aren't a bunch of meat heads everywhere. Oh, And their smoothies are to die for. Especially the Berry Apealing.

Junior Saint Louis

Aat Ess

When the owner leaves, the few staff members always play rap so loud you can’t even hear your headphones. Wasn’t a bad gym till they started hiring all these new d bags.

RL ØSYS

Older equipment and weights. Management is rude. Awesome greeters with beautiful personalities. Friendly staff and decent people who train there. There’s a roped off “CrossFit” type section, women’s only section, and tanning beds. Other than that it’s gym n showers.

TravelingSalsa Shoes

I enjoyed the facilities while in Augusta,GA and took some personal training sessions as well. I had military orders to transfer and during all the things going on forgot to give a copy to Golds before I left town. Joe was super helpful as one Golds is a franchise and the other is not, which made transfer difficult. I was able to send my orders to Lauren in Augusta who very kindly helped me cancel my contract so I could transfer to the Gold's here in Tallahassee along with the help of Joe. I am very satisfied and will continue to patronize Gold's!

Devyn McIntosh

Cassiana Spralding

Love this gym. Great people! Great environment! Thank you for inviting me to attend.

Danny Marquez

Kept charging my card for like 6 months after i tried to cancel and made me pay a fee just to cancel. Never getting another golds gym membership. Terrible business

Nothin2it

Where to begin...there are bent barbells, really loose dumbbells, very old/rusty equipment, bench press bars have the knurling worn down so much you can barely find the rings to help you place your hands, only like one squat rack, all metal weights are old/rusty, the staff won't allow you to try out a 30 day free trial(standard trial among Gold's) if the FSU leach center is closed because it forces FSU students to buy a membership (not me!), and they don't honor military discount at this gym (another Gold's Gym standard). They advertise everywhere in Tally that you only pay $10 a month for membership, but they get you by making you pay over a $100 enrollment fee(up to $199) which is not refundable if you cancel your membership...plus you have to pay the enrollment fee again if you start membership for second time. I know this because i ask a lot of questions! Avoid this gym if you can keep from it! If you must use a Gold's gym in Tally then i recommend the one on Apalachee Parkway. The gym is much nicer and i like the staff a lot better.

Sarah Jux

Extremely rude staff, overpriced, and 1/3 the size of a regular Gold's Gym. The sales person was extremely manipulative and rude, and when I wasn't ready to commit to dropping a bunch of money he aggressively shoved his papers back into his folder, got up, said "I was just trying to help you" (manipulative tactic, he was just trying to make me commit to money I did not have), and stormed off in a huff like a child. I am a responsible adult, I will not commit to money I do not have in hand today, no matter how much manipulation and aggressive sales tactics anyone uses. Now, I'm almost 40, but I can see where he would easily push someone younger around, probably makes him feel big, but I am grown enough to see through it. I love Gold's, but seriously, don't pay full price for half a gym with rude manipulative employees. There are several complaints about the employees behavior and it persists, so that tells me the owner doesn't care about how his staff treats people. It's half the size and twice the price of PF, and the staff at PF are all very nice.

Johnny Banana

I tried cancelling my month by month membership and gave them a months notice and the person verbally told me that he would cancel it. Then I called again a few weeks later to make sure and they said I wouldve needed to fill out paperwork so I was going to be charged the next month. So then I decided to have my membership frozen instead. I called and they said they froze it, I then got charged again and they said it was never frozen when I asked. Reading these reviews I should’ve know that they do this to people all the time. It’s not a good gym anyway, if it didn’t have the Golds brand name nobody would go there.

Lisa Dono

**BEWARE** My son joined while he was there for school and when he came home for summer and froze the account they SENT HIM TO COLLECTIONS. With zero notification. We called and talked to the owner directly and they forced him to pay excessive fees. **THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF STUDENTS**

kai ho

Nice setting, affordable membership, but inconvenience hours. They close early on most days.

I love this Gym!

She's Evelyn Nikkole

Pretty cool place to work out. No one makes me feel weird or awkward. Some of the staff could be more friendly, other than that I really like it.

Frank D

Place sucks balls.. don’t support a business whose staff tries to get into a fight with you over s gym bag on the damn floor. This place literally blows ball sacks.

Top 5

Golds has closed 2 locations and never NEVER never updates their times. Their ONE Location is Open 24 hours mon-thurs but not this Tuesday, Today they chose to close at 9pm, with no notice. They come up with new hours every month and FAIL to update website. In this day of Twitter, why can't anyone on GODS green earth send a message out the members who make a trip to the GYM & pay a monthly fee. I have called and asked only to find out the hours were not accurate. We get to the gym and figure it out when the lights are out. Come on guys!

C S

The only complaint is the hours of operation for the weekends. I typically don't go to the gym until the evening time, during the week it works out fine, but the weekend is when I really have the time and energy to get a good workout in. The staff is friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are clean. Equipment could use someone updating, but it works. Overall the price is good for what you get.

PeaceLove Happiness

Dude, this place rocked...the vibe was sweet, the music was pumped up and not stupid techno...very generous and courteous staff members....I was honored to be in the loop and impressed with the joint. Cool wooden Indian as you walk in...to greet everyone!

Ryan Libbert

The place is WAY too small for all the people, equipment, and classes they try to accommodate.

Alec Stavros

I had a terrible experience at golds gym today. I was going to sign up and get a membership, but one of their managers was incredibly rude to me and one of their members. We were asking about a plus one and the manger was very rude, short, and passive aggressive. This golds gym is the opposite of welcoming and made me feel very uncomfortable!
