I felt cheated and that costs were not fully explained to me. When I signed up they said it would be $19.99 per month plus tax. Then, after a few payments auto-debited of $21.99, then it suddenly started debiting $39.99 per month. DOUBLE what they said it would be. When I tried to get out of it they said I had to pay a $99 to get out of the contract. When that payment debited it was $120 not $99. The facility is nice, but do NOT sign up without understanding they AREN'T HONEST about pricing. It will be $40 for that $19.99 membership, and they never said that was "introductory". And its a TWO YEAR contract, that you have to pay to get out of and its $120 not $99 to get out of it. PLUS you still have to pay one more month of membership fees by the way. So to get out of the contract I had to pay $160 total. NONE of which was explained to me when I signed up. NOT WORTH IT. Just work out at home.

Love this place. The only complaint at all is not about the gym itself but the ladies gym. Girls are messy, lol. The women leave it a mess, weights everywhere.

Fitness CF is an affordable and well maintained gym. Lots of variety for any levels of fitness. The cardio theater and woman’s only sections gives it an extra special touch.

Work out 7 days a week at night after 7. Not too busy. Clean place. Staff turn over pretty high. It is nice to see the same people.

I have been a member here for 6 months and after spending a week in Orlando, going to an Orlando gym I have this to say: CF gym in mount Dora is the best. This place is massive and has everything you can dream of. The staff is so nice, considerate and helpful. The other gym members are never rude. There’s no intimidation here, everyone is just working out and having a good time. Build more please.

Outstanding equipment, friendly staff, fairly clean locker rooms. However, I have seen more free weights and loose equipment lying around the gym recently. The current music is absolutely terrible, geared towards teenagers. The management says it changes the tunes every month, but we've been listening to the same rap garbage for three months. As I look around, there is a largely diverse age structure, and all the guys I talk to hate the music, including the younger ones. Many of them said they've placed complaints in the suggestion box. After six years, I am seriously considering cancelling my membership at this point.

Great gym, I love that it's usually not crowded because every one hates a crowded gym. I knocked off one star for two reasons. 1 because it is missing one of the best workouts and one of the things I miss the most about some other gyms: a pool. Especially for physical therapy and building strength/cardio. The other is something that is a little harder for them to control, but the use of camera phones. While I think it's awesome for ladies to reach their fitness goals and it's great to share and encourage others too, the gym is not the place. Some of us aren't comfortable or ready to do so and to unwillingly be posting us all over public social media isn't right and makes me uncomfortable and I don't pay to go to a place where I feel uncomfortable. I have seen the gym post signs that are blatantly ignored, I wish there was a little more enforcement of this rule. Otherwise, great gym!!

Facility is fine good location but employees are simply trying to get the money from you! not bad price monthly but if you cancel plan to cancel 2 months in advance as they will LIE and CHEAT to do all they can to scrounge another $21 out of you... NO WORKING WITH THEM, they just hang up (bad service bad staff makes it not worth it... BUT they are correct it is a place to exercise and their equipment is good)

I find it old and run down. They clean in the afternoon even though they say they are 24 hrs. Night time should be best but they only have 1 person cleaning. I had to cancel due to a move and they never provided me a fax to send documentation even though I spoke with the manager. I do not recommend this Fitness CF

I love this gym. I've been a member for three years now and not only is it a clean space but the staff is so helpful....a question on a particular machine, any of the trainers will give you a tip on how to use it. No lines, ever.....friendly environment and I love Chris and Ed. I'm hoping that they will add a NIA class to their line. CHRIS.....please, a NIA class. I'm in NC until the Fall but looking forward to seeing my buddies at CF soon.

This gym facility is far superior to any LA Fitness or Bally's that I've been to in the past. I recently moved to the Sorrento/Eustis/Mt. Dora area, and one of my biggest concerns were not having any LA Fitness clubs out here. I've been a member of LA Fitness since 2001, so it's pretty hard to begin using any other facility. Well this Fitness CF surprised the heck out of me! One would think that any gym facility on the outskirts of a metropolitan city like Orlando would be more on the run-down, podunk side of things. And was I wrong! This facility has far more quality strength training equipment, far more free weight equipment, far more higher-end cardio equipment than any LA Fitness. Just the fact that they have two (2) large areas entirely dedicated to more advanced free weight training tells you how they value peoples time. Any LA Fitness that you go to on a weekday afternoon to work out free weights, or advanced training machines... and you might as well go home. At this place you WILL have access to enough quality equipment, get your work done and go home. The fact that you guys also have a VERY LARGE area dedicated to cross fit (Alloy room) is also a big plus! Most Cross Fit gyms that one tends to find in warehouses pale in comparison to what you will find here. All in all I'd say I'm very impressed!

I have been a member for about 8 years and loved it. I have noticed a change recently though. Not as clean as it used to be. And a lot of the staff seems like they are not as friendly as they use to be. I still will be going but please keep it cleaner

The gym is very nice and the crew as well, only thing I would like to be reviewed is the gym hours. I go the gym after work and some times I can’t cause they close early. So I hate that I can’t go to the gym or I got to look at what time it is and see if I can make it. :-(

I would easily give this gym 5 stars if they would just change the music. Massive selection, friendly staff, and clean (with bottles and towels everywhere for those working out to clean after themselves. I workout from 7-9am time-frame and am in my mid 50s (probably on the young-side of those there at the time. For two weeks it has been the worst sounds/lyrics coming from the speakers I have ever heard. I say "sounds" instead of music, because it is screaming, shouting, and nothing short of what sounds like someone being sacrificed to Satan. Amazingly you can hear some of the lyrics and the other day one included, "...hey, b*itch, you make me want to do you all night long." The front staff say they are not allowed to change the music. I've left at least a dozen messages with my email and phone number in the suggestion box (which says you will be contacted) and have not been contacted. I left early the other day because I couldn't take the "sounds" any more. I know there must be someone who likes this, but how about 80s, 70s, Classic Rock, Country... anything else? FitnessCF is advertised as a "family friendly" gym. I am going to give it two more weeks, then cancel my membership for my family and demand I be let out of my contract for a "hostile" environment and breach of contract for not being family friendly.

It’s compassionate for fitness, you will find no other place in the county. The attentiveness of the staff in the gym is impressive.The manager has an eye for details, clean from top 2 bottom. I'm still new to the gym. But there is allot of equipment. So your never waiting to do any exercise. There is a cardio theater and a woman's only facility as well. Great place!

I've gone only twice, love the gym for all of it's facilities. Wi-Fi is not good though. So if you don't plan to watch or listen to something they have going on, your data plans better be unlimited and even then, it's a spotty connection depending on your provider.
