Awesome gym. Has a bit of everything. Huge amount of cardio and resistance machines and has 6 lifting platforms and huge space for free weights. Also has an area for sled pushing and much more. Also is only 10 dollars a month. Crazy value. Downside is it gets super busy with the after work crowd 5-8pm

Horrible Customer Service! Do not sign up for a membership with them. They commit fraud and are currently being investigated because of it. I have tried canceling my membership so many times but they wouldn’t allow me because of their fine details that they purposely leave out till after you’ve signed the contract forcing you to pay them. I hateeeeee this gym and will never have a membership with them again. The employees were all clueless and told me different information! I signed up for a 0.30 enrollment deal and was then charged $41 a week after. The next month I was charged $41 again for no reason and now this money they are charging me $68. I never even activated my account yet they felt that they had the right to steal my money after being told that they did not have authorization. I even changed my card numbers and somehow they charged me. They really have HORRRIBLE service. Don’t sign up with them!

Worst gym I've ever been. Cramped, staff is rude and unhelpful. I had to go 3 times to get my membership cancelled, we were charged twice per month and nobody was able to sort it out. Avoid it as the plague

As I'm finishing my second visit to this gym I realized that it is not for me. I'm not taking away stars for how over crowded it is, I understand that it has just opened and the hype of a new gym is still at full force. However, for being the only gym in a significantly large area it is pretty small for all the people that are attending and those that have yet signed up. The locker rooms are tiny, for which I'm sure there won't be enough of them during the high volume times of the day; I had to wait in line to use both, a urinal and a sink when I went during a high volume time of day. The place is LOUD. There is a designated area for what looks like some sort of Cross Fit style workout/class. Both times I went to the gym the area was being utilized, and between the noise of the floor, the noise from the treadmill class and all the yelling and grunting from this cross fit style workout it was a bit much, even with my headphones on the noise would bleed in. There are no spin bikes (or designated class) which is a big let down for me since it is the only class i go to on a regular basis. I will use it until I am able to cancel the membership, unless some things drastically change on my favor, but we'll see.

This is a new gym so lots of shiny new equipment. Environment is nice and user friendly. It’s a little warm in there when using the treadmills maybe just bad air flow. Would like to see more wipe down stations or employees cleaning off machines in between uses. Everything else seems top notch.

Since the gym recently opened, I have only been twice. So far, it has been a pleasant experience, and convenient for me as it is right on my drive home. I have the good fortune of arriving at a time where there are plenty of machines available and I leave before the crowd arrives (around 5-5:30 pm). One of the main reasons I joined was to take advantage of the group fitness classes, but, none of the times they are offered work for me. This part is disappointing. The classes are either early (while everyone is at work), or super late when I'm spending time with my kids. I wish there were more options and times. While this is a nice club with brand new equipment, I think it is too small for the amount of people living in the area. The locker rooms are small and the stretching area is small. There are a lot of treadmills and elliptical's, and that part is good, but, overall not a huge gym like LA fitness or old-school Bally's. A couple of side notes: both times I've been I've looked down at my machine and noticed a large amount of dust. I don't think they did a deep clean after receiving the equipment. This is Lake Nona...the residents have high expectations in this regard. Another thing I noticed, both times I've visited they've had cartoons on the TV (Curious George to be exact). I don't get this as this is not a kid-friendly facility. The staff, which there are A LOT of, should be more on top of these details.

What's wrong with your earplugs connect? Tried one after the other ear plugs on threadmills and other machines worked only on one side or not at all and this place is fairly new. moreover the music at the gym is so loud you can't hear the TV.

BUYER BEWARE - They have downgrade fees and you pay the annual fee in 60 days after you start. Read the contract fully. The sales team may not give you the full 411. it's a nice place to workout, just lots of hidden fees. No matter what they tell you there is a downgrade fee.

My daughter and I were discriminated against by two men named Conner and Matthew at Crunch fitness Lake Nona tonight. I've been working out several times a week and very often I see younger kids working out with their parents. I was busy earlier in the day and still wanted to get my workout done and decided to go tonight at 6:30pm. Arieana asked to go with me as she has many times before at our old Gym Gold's. I didnt think it would be a problem since I've seen kids Ariana's age on multiple occasions. We arrived at the gym and sure enough right in front of us is a father with his young daughter and son working out. Both kids were the same height and youthful appearance as Arieana. Arieana and I were told we could not enter the gym because she did not have a membership and she was too young. The other kids were Arieana's age. Want to know the only difference. Those kids were caucasian with very blond hair and my daughter who has olive skin and dark brown hair. I was able to get a picture of the girl to prove my point. We were turned away and my daughter was so upset and confused. I'm going to talk to an attorney tomorrow. I have never accused anyone of being racially biased but tonight it was clear what was happening to me and my daughter and I'm sick to my stomach over it.

The gym is immaculately clean, from the mats, to the locker rooms and showers, and all the workout rooms and equipment. The personnel is amazingly awesome!!! The front desk staff is always pleasant and helpful while knowing your name and greeting you. Trainers and class instructors give you the best workout, for your ability level, and feeling of being worked out!!!

Absolute worst customer service experience for any gym I’ve been a part of. Called Crunch Lake Nona and spoke to Jose. I wasn’t satisfied with the answer, so asked for a manager. Jose told me his manager, Lucas, wasn’t available. Then he told me to hold on for a few minutes, and then his manager said he’s too busy to speak to customers right now. Was he teaching a class, giving bench press tips? No, he was standing right next to Jose talking to him. Pick up the phone and do your job!

Had to cancel my membership due to no fault of my own. Eddie Santiago the Area Manager berated me and after way too many times asking, he agreed to cancel. On my cancellation form he wrote "cant afford .67 cents a day" as the reason for cancellation. No one should be treated like that when you want to cancel. As he says I have text messages and cancellation form to prove his handling of the situation.

I was very excited to start at Crunch bc it was super convenient and the prices seemed unbeatable, but I’m honestly disappointed. For a little background, I’m coming from an LA Fitness where I go 5 days a week and I have a set schedule where I go to work immediately after. The gym itself looks nice, but day one I walk in ready to warm up with my normal cardio and ALL the treadmills are taken except for three which were all out of order. The treadmills were taken bc they decided to have a class taking ALL the treadmills rather than having classes in their own separate rooms like LA. There are very few showers, and they don’t even offer soap in them so I have to bring more things with me to the gym. The are to get ready is one small bar with only two outlets. (Keep in mind this gym is PACKED and I can see myself having to wait/fight over a shower or outlet while trying to get ready for work.) The second day I go, I tried to convince myself it would be better, still packed, and once again they decided to take up valuable space for another class. They took the entire section with the mats and mirrors for a group of people and blocked it off. I was trying to do my core circuit and I went to the desk and asked a woman where I can get a mat and workout and she told me I could go to that very area and that’s the only place where they’re allowed. So I go back there grab a mat and start my workout away from the class and then I’m approached by the instructor that I have to leave the area bc she’s having a class there. I told her what the young woman at the desk told me and she told me I can take the mat but I have to go somewhere else. There is NOWHERE ELSE. There are machines everywhere, people everywhere, and the only bare floor was walkways between all the machines!!! I dropped my mat and left livid! It’s overpopulated, it’s too small, and the whole taking a huge part of the gym for a class makes no sense. I’m hoping they’ll change how they do the classes!!!

Nice clean gym with all the equipment I needed and more: several stair climbers, pull up bars, squat racks, battle ropes, weighted balls, kettlebells! Wish there were classes between 7 and 9am..that was the only time I could go and there were only classes that ended before 7am or started around 10am. Also the sauna doesn't get very hot and it would be nicer if towels were provided in the locker room.

Gym was great when it first opened. Unfortunately, it feels like parts of the gym are getting less attention and slipping . One major one is the men's sauna. I feel as though it's constantly out of commission. As I write this, the time-dial has been missing for about 2 weeks and usually translates to a mediocre temperature. I will say that all the workers I have encountered have been great.

I really like the facility!! Most! Of the time is crowded. My issue is really worth one of the staff named Mikel, he had been no professional especially with the seniors. First time I was the I tried to have my 360 done I asked him about it and he was speaking with someone for more than 20 minutes personal stuff, ams he was upset because I interrupted them. He explain that can't be done at that time that i should have an appointment, so I asked for the appointment, he refused to give me one because I could do it when I come back. So, I asked for the free t-shirt, ams he again said, I can have it when I come back. Instead give me the service, he prefer to keep talking with the guy that keep waiting to talk with him. I tried to have the 360 next day, ams of course I didn't have appointment, the other gentleman gave me an appointment to have it. Normally when I go there, he is there, so bo much option for me for consumer service. Then I tried to upgrade my membership and he (Mikel) told me I can't because I have tío wait 3 month for an upgrade!! Hello, upgrade no downgrade. So I wait a week until he wasn't there and I asked other person, he told me that was wrong, I can upgrade aseedy any time, so he went to upgrade me and, surprise the Mikel upgraded me and he didn't said anything, so I can start using the benefits!! By the way, he never gave me the t- shirt that I don't really care, it's just the service that this person offer is so poor and unprofessional. You can notice the difference in his face when he give service to a young person, and then to elderly!! Poor consumer service from this Mikel in Lake Nona Crunch Fitness

Very Disappointing Unethical Business Practices I joined on 2/1/18 to take advantage of the founders Peak Plus membership. I was told by Eddie Santiago the regional manager I would be eligible for ALL classes and they would offer classes 1st thing in the morning, I also have it in writing from him. Today I went to tour the gym, get my picture taken and confirm I am eligible for all classes inclusive of the small group classes. To my surprise they're only offering 6AM classes twice a week, and to be eligible for the small classes I would have to pay an extra $10 a month. Unbelievable us Founders that joined the gym blindly you would think they would honor what they said. It's only $10 more a month to be able to have a class every single morning, but it sounds as they're trying to get us to pay the full fee for a membership that was sold as a perk for joining early. I'm going back to 24 hour fitness where yes I'll pay double the fee but at least I know what I'm getting. NO LOYALTY or GOOD Business Practices from Crunch Fitness very unethical not a good way to start a business.

We joined Crunch after LA fitness due to our move to a newer area , and Crunch is way closer than LA fitness , and our experiences much better here than our experiences with LA Fitness.

Crunch Gym is awesome and a breath of fresh air to the Lake Nona Area for Fitness options. Dylan the GM of the Lake Nona Gym is very hospitable and welcomes me everytime i come in. Eddie the District Manager is Great as well. The Gym environment is amazing and breeds energy conducive to working out. They have a lot of different equipment and variations of the same machine to hit the same muscle group from different angles. This is my gym and I love it and recommend it to anyone.

Read the reviews before signing up. I was not told I couldn't cancel my membership in the first four months. I even asked when signing up, if I could CANCEL ANYTIME and was told yes. First, I tried to cancel over the phone, and they said I had to come in in person. Again, at this point, they DID NOT MENTION THE FOUR MONTH MINIMUM. Once in person, Mary Kate assured me she told me about the four month minimum, which she did NOT tell me. I remember the conversation vividly. She reminded me I signed a contract... One of those gyms huh... You are right...I totally signed a contract... Reading the reviews, I see many people weren't informed about the 4 month minimum. Don't be fooled! This gym is NOT $9.99 a month, and you can cancel at anytime. It is $69.96 for the first 4 months, and THEN you can cancel. Please don't fall for this like many others have!! My husband does go to the gym, but he doesn't like that it's always crowded. There's also people that will hog equipment they aren't even using. Worth the drive to GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Management does not care about those not interested in keeping a membership. TYPICAL GYM CONTRACT BS.

So far I've had 1 potential red flag as I ended up waiting for 5mins or more to get what should've been a simple answer for a simple question about the availability of the massage chairs. Once they have your money and you are "in contract" they dont care. Place took forever to open and I explained that I was traveling a ton the first month it opened, asked if they could push my membership back or put it on hold. Regional manager still hasn't responded to me and it's been well over a month. Was told they would forward my message on to corporate and they would at least respond. Nope. Shame on you Crunch management. Just know they are not flexible at all. What a shame and sad this is the way they operate.

Some Staff is not “great” At least in the morning... some at the front have a lot of attitude. I am greeted with some sort of attitude, no matter how courteous I am. They need to be replace by front desk associates who care more about providing guess services instead of trying to look “too cute”. Also, be ready to catch an STD at the tanning beds. I think last time they where actually cleaned was when the beds where installed. Nasty. And you better learn the beds number and if they are lay down or stand up. The staff will get mad if you ask, “what bed number”... Again, front desk not doing their job, no satirizing these beds each time they are used. Do they care? Not really.

Rude and unprofessional staff. Especially Savanah S at The Lake Nona facility. She was yelling at memebrs to leave the stretching area who were trying to wrap up their last workout sets so she can start her class. I understand the space is closed off to memebers who are not participating in the class. But it’s also a peak hour at the gym. And her approach of using the speaker and coming up on people with a nasty tone is really not necessary. She was using her title as “Coordinator” to approach people in a condescending, rude and unprofessional manner. I think her title has gone to her head because she made sure everyone heard her say her title! Lol Who acts like that?

She helped me through the process of sign up and when I realized I signed up at the wrong location I called and straight away she took care of everything for me. First know that I am a 52 yo female so that you can get a better idea of why I am about to say what I am. I have gone both in the evening and morning wanting to get in a good workout in the short time I have free to do so. The gym is always packed as to be expected with just opening. I can never finish the complete 30 minute power work out due to people who are not doing the circuit jumping in to use just one piece of equipment. The music oh dear lord the music...way too loud so loud that I can't even hear my own workout mix. At night it's like a nite club young people just milling around talking jumping around from machine to machine aimlessly not knowing what they are doing. All that's missing is a bar. The employees should spend more time out on the floor helping people and less standing around socializing at the desk. Last thing...you can only listen to one channel out of 10 TV's when doing cardio it sucks. Debating on keeping membership

The place is pure trash I can't understand why the staff is so incompetent and not only that but also they have this terrible policy that changes every few months.To be more specific my family was paying for the plan were you could take a guest and he is a minor so they make sure to ask that he was able to come but he had to bring an identification he did that for few times then out of the blue with literally no warning they changed there policy and he is now not able to get in without a parent.We didn't discovered this until they had to go spend there money on there trip to then be turn down by a clerk that wasn't even able to answer to there question about why this was happening now.

The gym itself was nice, but the staff wasn’t accommodating or friendly and that made me realize the gym wasn’t for me.. it’s ocercrowded and the customer service isn’t great for me to drive 25-30 minutes out of the way for a gym that’s not even 24 hours. I’ll give Waterford location a try when it opens, but I wouldn’t get a membership based on the unfriendly kid at the front desk at Lake Nona.

This gym is falling apart. When it was new a year ago everything was perfect, but now the most of the equipment have missing or broken parts, they moved the Jacob ladder to the back and abandoned it, its belt is broken and is impossible to use it because all the mess around it. Horrible customer service. I canceled my contract 2 days after they opened and months later they are still trying to charge me fees and an annual fee. Have spoken to all the mgrs and district mgr they all have the same response. Had to cancel my bank acct to get them off. Contacted Crunch corporate and they can't do anything about this specfic location policies. Please read the small print!

I signed up before the gym even opened and soon signed up my husband as well. We were so excited that we got the highest plan available. We'd been members of Crunch Fitness when we lived in Virginia and never had any of the problems we've had here. Before the gym opened I signed up for information and was contacted by text by the manager. Soon after I signed up. I never expected the gym would be so packed as it was. We'd taken our teenage kids with us and had to leave because of how packed it was. I called to cancel and all they told me was to come in to do so. Once there I was told there was a 3 month commitment. It didn't matter that I hadn't used the membership. I asked again later and was then told that I'd also have to pay the annual fee. I was also unable to lower my plan to the lowest one. Once 3 months had passed I tried to cancel again and was then told the first payment was a deposit!! So, I have to pay $30 for each of our memberships for 4 months plus the annual fee. I've only used the gym maybe 4 times. I'm so disappointed and feel like we've been ripped off. This didn't happen in VA and we were able to cancel before 3 months without paying any annual fee. Management you need to do better!

Managment is trash. If you try to cancel and inquire about it over the phone, Managment will refuse your phone call. That’s what I call a SCAM. No worries, I will call corporate tomorrow. In regards to your reply- That's a lie. My phone call was flat out refused but no worries I called another location who handled my cancellation with professionalism rather then your butt hurt associates. Glad I'm not a member of your gym anymore thank god. Good day !

The only game in town. Very nice with a variety of equipment and squat racks. There just aren’t enough. It gets so crowded and there is not enough open space. Locker room is a bit small. I will say, I have had some luck going late (8pm) and on weekends to avoid the crowds and the small classes. The small group classes tend to use up the only space available to sit and stretch that isn’t the dedicated classroom. That said, the small group classes also cost another $10/mo in addition to the top tier membership. No towel service. I wish they had disinfectant wipes instead of paper towels....at least it’s close by.

Told go there to get my scan. I called prior to paying two tolls & driving over half hour to this location. I was told I could go in for the scan not a problem. When I arrived the girl who greeted me said not a problem please go to the trainers desk they will scan you. When I walked up there were over 4 trainers just standing talking & one filing forms. After 5 ppl avoiding me the man with the files addressed me.He advised he would try to get my scan done he was prepping folders for his client he was currently with. Currently being the key word, a girl trainer who is blond & very young barely older than 20 was just chatting away with a group of what seems friends.They were not clients, because he asked her when he interrupted her.He specifically said are you with guest.Her response was know they were friends she was just talking. He asked her to scan me she said yes (however she seemed bothered, unwilling, making excuses &comments in between).I knew she didn’t want to do it since their comments was more so so an appointment because they will await clients later.They asked me to go to change to tighter work clothes which luckily I have extra leggings & clothes.I went and changed in less than 10 mins.So now I’m there 15-20 mins. I’m done waiting for her to acknowledge me & she walks to the front desk instead.So I walk behind her & instead of addressing me she asked the counter girl is she waiting for me?I address her and say yes I just spoke with you.She was trying to give me the run around after she just told me to change to do this scan. She continues to tell me I should do an appointment.What they don’t know is that I’m well aware how the scan works & how long it takes.They also don’t realize I’m observing their unprofessional behavior towards me.This whole time they had horrible attitudes, very flaky with their responses & clearly wanted to avoid me. They we all very lazy aside from the man with his current file. He tells her just get her started I’ll finish it.She says okay yet walks up to another man who turns it to be a manager.She doesn’t know that again in observing and she’s asking him if she can pass me up.He tells her yes & they start to smack tall. He’s telling her just tell her to make an app.This point I’m 20-25 in waiting.The scan takes 10 mins tops!The machine literally does the whole work. So she comes back & says you need to come back and come back with an appointment lmao. I asked to speak with her manager. Because at this point for almost half an hour 4 people avoided helping me for something that takes 10 mins. Manager who comes up is the dude telling her to send me away. He walks up to me & spills into a completely unnecessary, unprofessional and very rude rant.He went on to tell me, I needed an appointment, that all tho it’s takes ten min he couldn’t help me btw he was doing anything anymore he was also now free. Started to raise his tone, was giving me and attitude & just listing excuses (there was so many he literally opened his mouth & just word vomit).So I tried to stop him so I can express that hey I can understand & express my dis satisfactions with the fact that I drove over 30 mins & paid about 5 dollars in tolls to have 4 people tell me yes & have me change to then send me away. I literally said can I express my feelings on this & he cut me off again ranting saying no cause there no way I can help you, we need an app, if I scan you it’s a liability & on he went.So I try to cut him off again and attempt to express I’m human if someone was honest with me & turned me away the first time or when I called I get it but now he’s bsing me, being rude & disrespectful.On top of that now lying about so called liability.He didn’t even let me say that I could only think my responses cause if I tried to say anything he’s just snaps.His gm finally gets involved he still going on.I finally ask he walk away while I express what I did want to say to gm(Mathew), he was kind & was watching from a far.All he could do was apologize at this point all was ruined.Jonathan, is a Horrible manager. Review are correct!

ZERO STARS- IF THERE WAS AN OPTION. The managers at this branch are EXTREMELY unprofessional BEWARE. My friend’s membership was revoked by two managers who had it out for him. According to them, encouraging others to work out in a buddy system is NOT ALLOWED. Meaning if you are working out with a friend, prepare to have all the managers hawk eye you in disapproval and stare you down. Every time I worked out, I had this branch manager micro-watch my every move to see if I was paying my friend to train me. After discussing with the workers & confirming I was NOT paying my friend to work out with me, they REVOKED his membership. For a gym whose main headline is a #NOJUDGEMENTS zone, I’ve never encountered such a poorly run gym who allows managers to self-impose rules. But even worse feel they have the power to REVOKE memberships without any proof. We were told by them they had viewed the camera’s and because of that I was being professionally trained by him. Once again micro watching customers. After repeatedly discussing my experience with others in the community about Crunch, I was shocked at the amount of people who also had a conflict with these particular managers. If corporate at Crunch truly cares about their reputation, they would re-evaluate who they have up front representing their gym. My sister came back that same day to discuss with the manager the situation and was very rudely rushed away to speak to not him, but someone else. To top it off as she was leaving he mockingly raised his hands, with two thumbs up and waved goodbye. Again, re-evaluate those you have representing you gym. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I am very pleased with the new gym in Lake Nona. I live 7 miles south of the gym and I have been driving into St Cloud to go the gym. It is awesome that I can actually go to the gym after work since it’s right on my way home. I joined as soon as memberships came available... maybe January 2018, and like the last review, it was 10 dollars a month. When I went for the first time on Sunday, I was happy to learn that all of the classes, except for the small group, were included in my 10 dollar a month fee. And, to only pay 10 more a month to join the small group is a bargain! I know the other gym I went too charged A LOT more for small groups. Also, their Cross Fit set up was not near like he the one at Crunch. Another consideration is you are able to use the Cross Fit area when there is not a small group training with no extra fee. I went to some group classes after work today and I thought they were great. I also like how the classes are 30 minutes. They go fast and then you can stay for the next class if desired When I worked out Sunday, I was also impressed with all of the cardio machines and the neatness of the set up. Yayyyyy for the new Crunch in Lake Nona.

The equipment is layed out well and and there is something for everyone. Although it does get crowded at the typical times I still never find myself with no options. Great gym, However staff should be better trained on conflict resolution. On Saturday I witnessed two members get into a confrontation. The young white male member physically assaulted the older black male member. Staff came and intervened and split them up however they escorted the older black male to another part of the gym and did nothing to the younger white male member. Nothing was done after. They should have a zero tolerance for this behavior.

I’ve been quite a few times and really love it here. All the employees I’ve come into contact with have been so friendly and upbeat. There’s no shortage of equipment and I like all the variety offered. Haven’t done a class yet but looking forward to it. I did a personal training session and it was wonderful. Ryan was incredibly nice and so helpful with introducing me to new exercises so I can switch things up. He took all my injuries into account as well. The feeling of community is there, which I like. Love a gym that when you walk in they remember you and say hello. It definitely gets busy at the 5 o’clock hour, but that’s typical of any gym. Bottom line - love this gym and the people in it are great!

Overall its a good gym to lift at. No fitness shaming or judgement of any kind, people are nice and it is clean but not enough space or equipment for weight lifters. If I need to bench or use the smith machine I have to go in at 5am because they are always full when I go in at 7am leaving me having to wait a long time and some times so long that I don't get to finish my work out at all. This even happens sometimes with the squat racks too. There's simply not enough free weight space or equipment for the number of people using the gym which is basically everyone in Lake Nona since Crunch is the only gym.

They signed up too many people and it’s always packed so I never went. I tried to cancel 2 weeks after them opening and they said I couldn’t cancel within 3 months of them opening since I didn’t cancel within the first few days of grand opening which they didn’t even open on time. Now I’ll be charged for a yearly membership and 3 months of membership for a gym I never went to. Not even a day. They said it was in an agreement and I was also verbally told but I was never verbally told. I thought they would be willing to at least come to some type of settlement and at least waive the yearly fee since I obviously wouldn’t be using it at all and they told me no and maybe I should find a better time to come in where they aren’t busy because apparently my life runs on Crunchs time.

Great location. The equipment is of a different league. Great classes. I would recommend the peak plus membership. It is a candy store of work out equipment. Tanning and Aqua massage and use of Cross fit equipment is included with the peak plus. A nice refresing change from a former LA fitness member.
