After Pure Fitness bought out World Gym Millsboro, I had to cancel my membership. It started when they removed a recycling bin as they remodeled the gym and I suggested it be brought back. It took four separate emails before I received a response. That response being a curt one sentence response asking if I, as a member, would be willing to be responsible for the recycling. This exchange quickly resulted in me being frozen out of my account and unable to use the gym because I informed them I found their response irresponsible to ask of a paying member. I cannot be surprised at their response as I have found Pure Fitness to not care about their members but seem far more interested in squeezing out as much money from their members as possible. With a gym like this it is worth it to drive a little bit further or pay a bit more money to have a gym that treat their members with even a basic level of respect.

World Gym Millsboro is a life saver. The staff and oweners of this fasilaty are always so helpful and friendly. I have taken almost ever class they have offered over the many years they've been open and I can honestly say they are toally on it. With keeping up with the newest and most up to date classes that can be offered they do keep it fresh. Also the convenience of classes offered. The gym is always so clean and well kept which is important to me. I love,love, love this place and thank God to have an outlet to go to for my health at such an affordable rate.World Gym Millsboro your #1.

This gym has changed my life. I have lost 400 lbs and counting thanks to the awesome staff, inspirational members, and state of the art equipment. I used to eat Twinkies for breakfast now I take a protein shake to the face. Owners are always available to help with any needs.

I had the most amazing experience. As I am new to the gym world I needed some help getting started. The owner Pam spent extra time and patience going through what the gym has to offer. I watched the owners build this business from the ground up ... literally. They took an empty single store slot and built an awesome gym in Millsboro. Then they took their small gym and expanded to keep up with demand. The owners have always been super responsive, friendly, and willing to do whatever needed to keep their customers happy. The facilities have always been clean and equipment in excellent working condition. Some people cannot be happy, regardless of what you do for them. For those people, complaining makes them feel superior. Do not believe the negative reviews for World Gym Millsboro! WGM deserves more than 5 stars. They are awesome!

I like this gym because it is clean and larger than others nearby . I never have to wait to use cardio equipment because there is a large selection of treadmills, bikes and ellipticals. The weight area is a good size as well and I rarely have to wait to use a machine or free weights . This gym also offers childcare which is a huge plus. I also like the private showers available.

Thanks to this GREAT gym and the AMAZING owners and staff, I am able to stand up on the SPIN bike for the first time Ever!!! Yes, my hard work got me there as well. I have serious balance issues which cause me to use a walker. When Pam suggested I take a class, I thought she was crazy! But I did. Staff is always helpful and friendly and safety is the main concern. I am there 5 times a week. So much better than sitting on my butt!!!

I had the fortunate occasion to visit this gym while visiting. I am a 61 year old triathlete and have trained in locations all over the country. As a former personal trainer I have seen gyms operated from both sides. I found World Gym Millsboro to be first of all clean. It was obvious to my experienced eye that the staff takes both pride and responsibility in keeping all equipment clean and functioning. The gym is suitable for both recreational fitness interests as well as the serious athlete. I look forward to visiting again on my next visit and have recommended it to my friends and family that live in the area.

good gym with good equipment and accessible at all times. but if you need any help or a refund forget it. i payed a year in advance 3 months late was sent away on military duty. i called a couple times a week for a couple of months asking to talk to the owner and constantly being told "they just left" or "they are in a class and will call you back" never got a call beck and i left my contact information every time. not only did i pay for p months i couldnt use but i payed for my wife as well.

Definitely gets crowded at times but that's for a reason. The gym is very well kept, all equipment is in good shape, and the staff are all friendly. Being open 24/7 is a huge plus too.
