Sad about the sales tactic. No credit card fee was mentioned at the tour of the facility by my family, yet, upon signing, there was an additional 11.3% credit card fee of the membership fee implemented in the contract. Not even a chance, say within a couple of hours of signing, to bring the bank account information for bank draft and correct. But no, the fee has been charged already. 11.3%!!

I have a newborn baby and they have been nothing but great with him. Every staff member has been very kindkand helpful. They are well trained and knowledgeable in dealing with the body and different muscles. I love their Team Training, and it's a plus that they offer massages and tanning. This is one of the best gyms I've experienced so far.

Great gym but as a designer, the amount of people they try to get into this place during some hours of the day is INSANE. It makes working out uncomfortable and it's so congested. To all VASA Fitness developers, more square footage = happy customers (near the 3 people asking to use the machine I'm on).

This place is awesome!! Worked out one day while visiting CO Springs. There’s really something for everybody at this gym. I used free weights some of the hammer strength machines and one of the ellipticals. Staff is friendly and helpful, the space is clean and fresh like in the pictures. Really can’t say enough. I wish I had more time to hit the sled and other equipment. VASA please come to NM next.

My whole family loves this gym. The entire facility is clean with a great atmosphere. We love all of the space. Even during the busiest times of the day there is always space and equipment for everyone, my husband and I have had a difficult time finding an affordable gym with that perk. Our children love the kids club and there is always friendly and caring staff to greet them. I also personally love that they plan daily activities for the kiddos.

I absolutely love my gym! They have great pricing and all the bells and whistles. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. My only complaint is that in the stand up tanning booths, the floors are always sticky and in the women's locker room, the showers don't have any pressure at all, but otherwise the amenities are top notch. I love using the hot tub, the swimming pool, the massage beds, and all the gym equipment is new and shiny and complete working order. I highly suggest this gym to anyone!

Overly crowded, I regret getting my membership here, been here the last 3 times and each time had to leave because everything was taken. This last time I figured I would go for a swim and surely by the time I was done the crowd would clear but once I got back out I realized it was even more crowded.. how’s that even possible smh

Watch your accounts those of you that chose to go to this facility!!!! You stop your membership...and they send you to collections for an outstanding balance 6 months later!!!!! No contract??? This place is a joke...they will rob you of every dime you have and send you to collections. They wont get a penny from me...never set foot in this facility but somehow want to send me to collections?

I’ve only been a member here for a few weeks, but being a previous member and Operations Supervisor at Lifetime Fitness, this gym is great. It’s the best bang for buck, stays clean, and has a great atmosphere. You get a little bit of everything and the employees are inviting each time you walk in! It can for sure get busy but if you check the live busy graph, you can hit it when there’s no one there. I hope they open a location on the east side.

I'm a new member that's 60 years young with really bad sciatica and muscle cramp pain down my hamstrings. The introduction of the facility by Arthur Gonzales was so genuine and understanding of what it could provide me was so professional. He knew what I was dealing with after learning my sciatica injury happened in March of 2016 and didn't pressure me at any time to purchase a membership or start a workout routine. What he recommended for me was to start with the hydro massage chairs that have been absolutely amazing! I'm telling all my friends to check our VASA for a very unique place to fulfill your fitness needs!

If you are here to workout then please enjoy and do your workout but do not sit and play on your phones people do not have time to wait on you to conversate. They are on a schedule to do their workout. So please do all your phones and conversations before you get here or after you leave. Be courteous to others.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the gym layout makes it easy to find the areas you want, great atmosphere, and they off so many amenities. I love the way the trainers have their own area to train in as well, as a former trainer, I appreciate the way Vasa puts their clients first by making sure no matter how busy the gym is PT clients get full attention of the trainer and don’t have to scope out equipment. Glad my daughter and son in law recommended them to me.

It's a great gym.. a lot of equipment, very friendly staff! My only issue is the cleanliness of the hott tub... when I was there the other day it was filthy and I felt really gross being in it. Not sure how often it gets cleaned, but it looked like it hadn't been done in a while.

Been going there almost 1 year. Many great changes, but the wet area and womens locker room are something else. The pool is more often than not, dirty, the water is cloudy and funk in the corners and stuff floating in the bottom. Today was a prime example, couldn't even see the bottom of the pool it was so cloudy and the hot tub was down AGAIN. When I call before I get there to make sure the pool is open and hot tub is working I've been told more than one time yes it is or they are waiting on the maintenance guy to get there, and one or both would be down I always bring my workout clothes just in case and then i watch from the floor to see if the maintenance guy fixes anything and during the 2-1/2 hours I'm there, i have never seen him. I am usually at the gym between 8/9 am. You really need to work on this. The locker room is usually a mess. The tops of the lockers have probably never been dusted, and the rest of the area is usually dirty. I have been tanning, and I have watched it be CLEANED, not so much, there is always something on the floors and the bottom of the tanning booth is ALWAYS sticky. There's got to be a more sanitary way to clean, EVERYTHING.

I started in March and its been going great but lately every time I walk in the ceiling is leaking water in multiple places. There is buckets of water and water and towles on the ground. I still love the place but they should probably close for a couple days to work out and fix whats going on.

Me and my wife have been going to this gym about 2 months now and we love it. The customer service is great, the equipment has really helped me to start losing weight, and the environment is not intimidating at all. Its not far from home and the hours are perfect for scheduling around our lifestyle. I Will definitely be staying with this gym for a very long time. Its good to have a place that you can actually enjoy going to workout in, and thats just an added bonus to keeping me motivated. Only thing I cant wait for is for the basketball court to be fully open. It seems no matter when I go, theres no chance of playing or just shooting around, because theres 5 or so members who have their buddies tag along on guest passes. Thats my only complaint I have. Outside of that its been great.

Never had a problem here. Staff is always friendly and assisting when you need help. Equipment is kept clean by everyone and there are typically enough machines to workout on where you aren’t waiting forever unless you go during a peak hour. They have everything you could need here as well from cardio to weights and the pool room and tanning/massages.

Vasa really needs more squat racks. 3 is not enough for even a non-busy time of day. I’m always waiting 15 minutes or more, asking people when their workout ends, and having to wait around to snag one before someone else swoops in and takes it and then I wait another 10-15 minutes. If it weren’t for their generally great facilities and excellent staff, the lack of squat racks would make this a three star facility for me. I absolutely love the massage chairs, too!

Cancellation policy is ridiculous, gym is so small/cheap its very over crowded. There are only TWO drinking fountains in the whole facility. Its suposed to be a "new" gym yet eveytime it rains the ceiling leaks water and there are buckets all around the gym to catch it. Employees rarely refill the sanatary wipes & always give attitude when they have to manually check you in.

I like how modernized this gym is. I have never been to a gym that has a cardio theater where you can run on the treadmill or ride a bike while watching a movie. A little bit odd at first if you have never experienced it but it’s kind of cool. I like the spacious locker room, different size lockers, and the little lounge with the TV and sofa inside the locker room. I also like that this gym has not only a pool but a hot tub, sauna, tanning room, and a massage room. This gym really needs to figure out its parking lot situation. If you are one of the hundreds of people that go in the afternoon, good luck finding anywhere to park because you have people making their own parking spaces due to the overflowing amount of people going to the gym. I just started going to the gym around opening time and have zero issues. However, the one thing that still bothers me is the scanning-in method. I have to stand there for five minutes while the person behind the desk waves the scanner around trying to lock the laser onto the barcode on my key tag. There has to be a more efficient method than this. I’ve been going here for about two and a half months now and just the other day was my first time going on a Sunday. I don’t know if the employee showed up late because they missed their alarm or what the case was but they showed up an hour after the gym was supposed to be open and there was a small mob of people standing outside waiting. This gym has a lot of potential to be a really good gym, it’s just a little rough around the edges.

My kids and I love VASA kid care. The girls that work there are awesome and very professional. Not only do they take great care of the kids but they interact with them as well. Arts and crafts, theme days, dance parties, parachute fun! My kids have no problem with me leaving them there and actually ask to go there from time to time. I would highly recommend this gym not only for the facility but for the amazing day care program they have!

So I've been going to this gym for the better part of a year. I recently had issues and was looking to cancel my membership here, at sign up I was told that after six months if I no longer wished to carry the membership that I could cancel for free. Unfortunately I stopped in yesterday to inquire about how to cancel my membership and was given information that lead me to a site where it expected me to pay for another month for a gym I havent attended in about 3 months due to overcrowding aswell as the lack of parking during the time I'm eligible to attend. I've never encountered such a blatant and dishonest marketing scheme with any of the other gyms I've had memberships at I'm under no contract while they allowed me to cancel it did not help that they still charged me for a month in addition to the yearly rate lock-in fee upon this cancellation. Save your money, as nice as this gym is you will avoid any sort unfair conduct at any other gym in the springs if you feel you no longer need a membership this is quite unacceptable.

I signed up recently and it's already seeming like a great investment for myself. Author gave me a tour of the facility and answered all of my questions. He was exceptionally polite and always made sure I was following along with his explanations of the various plans and what suited me best to reach my goals. He set me up with a great trainer named Allyson. I've had 1 training session and 1 team class session with her so far. She's extremely motivating and I'm thankful I get to work with her! I'd reccomend her to anyone wanting to look into personnel training. She makes sure her clients leave a session with a sense of accomplishment. On top of all the great customer service, the facility is really clean and has an awesome cinema room to enjoy your cardio workouts in.

The gym is an affordable gym but some people will use facility items that they’re not supposed to which makes the people that do pay the right price incredibly uncomfortable. Most of the people that don’t pay the right price you will see them in places like the sauna with their shoes on or the hot tub. You’ll see them jump in the pool after using the sauna with sweat on their body. Then please are a great customer service although I would choose more knowledgeable personal trainers and an upper scale gym like this. I hope they do eventually put more signs up and there are more regulations with people that don’t pay the right gym membership price and still use other facility items in that case they should just make the gym membership one price because of selfish broke ppl. Anyways good gym Glad I switched

Always over packed with people. Locker Room, shower, Sauna, steam Room, swimming pool all have 50/50 chance of being clean. The building is way too small to host this large amount of people on a daily basis. The rest: customer service, classes, times, price, parking are all just average.

NOT MILITARY FRIENDLY!! I joined then we got ordered to move to Georgia they told me I could get my $50 bucks back since I only got to go one time... well that was a fat lie. Plus their childcare sucks , they lost my nephew and tried to give my sister a completely different baby (turns out nephew was sleeping under the table) but still how do you just hand babies out? It’s a really nice facility with lots of machines, free weights and everything you need. I wouldn’t plan to workout during the week after 5pm though. There were more people there than at a concert. Every piece of equipment was taken. There was barely any room to stretch. I’d love this place if I was actually able to workout there.

My dad and I work with Eugene and he is one of the best trainers at the gym we go to. He makes sure to change up the workouts so you are not doing the same thing and also modifies them to make them harder or easier depending on the person. Always have had a great workout with him

THEY LOST MY SON IN THE DAYCARE!!! My first and LAST visit ever! I only went for 45 minutes to test it out I dropped my son off at the child care place and when i went to pick him up they couldn't find him and tried to give me a different kid saying “ are you sure this ones not yours?” After 10mins of panicking they found him asleep in the back corner they couldn't see him because one of the ladies covered him completely with the blanket. I left immediately and canceled my membership. They didnt even seem to care! Will never go back.

Mostly wonderful gym, pretty clean except for one thing. Patrons are required to shower and take off their shoes before going into the sauna and not a single person other than my newly signed up guest and I did that going in there yesterday. I brought it up to the front desk and the blonde guy with arm sleeve tattoos gave me a lot of lip and attitude about it. I specifically pay for this gym to get away from the nasty military saunas on base where not a single person showers before using them. If there wasn’t a fee for reducing my service here, I would definitely pay less. My trainer, Kali, deserves 5 stars though because she’s great. She’s the reason I drive almost half hour for the gym in the first place because she makes my day better. She’s a great trainer and I highly recommend her.

Eugene has been my trainer and I have nothing but good things to say! He pushes me to work a little harder every session and the results have been phenomenal. When I am struggling with an exercise he makes the adjustments needed so that I am able to complete it and helps me work toward eliminating the adjustment as I get stronger. I adore this gym, and my daughter (who’s usually shy and a bit clingy) now begs to go to the child care center! The girls there are amazing! The gym is a drive from my house, but I don’t care. It’s totally worth it! If I had any minor complaint at all, it would be that there isn’t enough classes offered. Some days they’re all day, but then 2 or 3 days will go by with one class at 5am and that’s it. If there were more classes and class times offered, this would be the best gym I’ve ever joined! Edit::: still a fantastic gym, but I’m learning a few things that are a downfall and want to make sure other people get a heads up...1) there’s zero childcare between 12 and 4pm. Seems a bit long for a lunch break. Stay-at-home moms like working out in the afternoon before the after work crowd, but that’s not an option here. 2) they will text and call you mercilessly about signing up for your free training session. I’m about to have a baby and have told them twice now that I’m not interested, but might be after the baby is born. Nope, still getting numerous calls and texts.

Great facility with great coaches. When I signed up I started training with Eugene. He really pushed me to train my hardest during every session. I left every training session better, faster, and stronger. Training with Eugene has helped me lift with better form and put up heavier weight. Eugene listened to what I wanted to get out of training and pushed me towards success, helping me smash my physical agility firefighter test.

I just had my first personal training session- it was also my first visit to this location. The facility is impressive. It has state-of-the-art equipment, a detailed InBody scanner which tells you where your body is really at and what your goals should be, and a friendly staff. The training session as a whole was good and my trainer asked good questions so he was careful not to over-exert me in areas that I had previously sustained injuries. My only complaint is that he was laughing and joking with another trainer while I was doing my reps so I didn’t feel like he was paying full attention to how I was doing to give proper feedback (this session was set specifically to analyze my fitness level and mobility, so paying attention seemed important). However, he was kind, encouraging, and direct and I appreciated it. I just hoped for more engagement as this was my first time really working out since my injury and I was anxious. Overall, I am pleased and excited for future trainings!

Mixed feelings about this place. I personally enjoyed the gym. It's lacking in some areas (deadlift platforms and squat racks) but overall it was nice. I asked about the guest add on for $15. I told them I needed it for one month and they processed the payment. Behold, after being told it will only run as one month, I kept getting charges. If you plan on going to the gym, just be aware that there are no one time payments and that they will charge you up to 30 days out.

Eugene really helped me understand the exercises he had me execute. He also mentors me on how I excersise on my own and I see a huge deference with his guidance. I’ve been in the gym since high school and Eugene really knows what he’s talking about I strongly recommend him to anyone of any level. He will help you stronger and healthier. Also he’s a nice guy never judges.

**UPDATE: It's been 1 week since this all happened and I still have not had an actual person reach out to me to resolve my issue and I'm still being told I have to pay for service I've never received from them. I have emailed all week to their support email and called and I keep getting the same insincere email back with the link to cancel but no actual help from someone otherwise. Not even sure it was a real person who responded to me here in the first place or just a generic answer for all their negative reviews, but they clearly don't care of their customers. This is an absolutely bogus establishment and should be ashamed that they call themselves a business at all when they don't even care about their customers. I will never be stepping foot into this gym again. I've been lied to on 2 occasions now where gym reps, for some reason, can't be honest and transparent about pricing and fees. I signed up to do my monthly membership + personal training where I was told one price that would actually work for me to only find out that it was all a lie and I was charged DOUBLE what we had originally talked about. After calling almost 3 times trying to get this resolved, cancel my membership, and get my money back, I was told that I would have to pay $310 to cancel! Why would I continue to pay for something that I haven't even used yet? I haven't even had an official training session with them and they're already screwing me over. The rep in the gym didn't even give me a copy of my contract when I left, I just received that last Friday when I called to try to cancel. I was told someone would be reaching out to me and have yet to receive anything from anyone at this business trying to get this resolved. This place is absolute BS and I can't believe the level of dishonesty they're okay with advertising and spreading to customers who are just trying to better themselves! I will be cancelling and never even set foot into the overcrowded parking lot at this place ever again. My mistake thinking I could trust them. You're better off going to a place where they can actually be honest about their membership prices as opposed to being feeling robbed when looking at your bank account like I was. If I could give negative stars, I absolutely would.

People at the gym in Colorado Springs consistently don’t wipe down the weight machines, so disrespectful to all clients!! After complaining several times to the staff, nothing is ever done. No signs, no reminder emails about proper gym procedures, no nothing. This just tells me that Vasa management is arrogant and uncaring- all about the money.

Poorly trained staff. I've been a member for over a year. When I signed up, I upgraded for "guest pass" so I could bring an additional person. After A YEAR of bringing guests, I was informed that I have to pay an additional $16/month for this. Every time I go to the gym, it's another problem. Pretentious staff, inconsiderate gym members. In addition, getting a spot in kids club during peak hours is nearly impossible. OVERRATED gym.

I love this gym. It is very busy, especially during peak hours. There are rumors of new ones opening soon in the area though. I have to give a special shout out to the kid care; my kids love going, the staff know them by name, and are always excited to see them. Some people on here give bad ratings because how busy it is but it's busy because how great it is. I have not ever been this impressed by a gym so reasonably priced before!

They have a cinema and I go to walk and when the movie is over I all ready walked 5 miles with out even realizing and the staff is super nice and very helpful. And there is a big staff so you are never just sitting there waiting to ask a question or trying to check in! And you can bring 2 guest with you. They even have a swimming pool and a room to get a massage witch is very nice to relax after a long work out! 100% recommended not one bad thing about this place

Love this gym! All the equipment is new, the staff are super friendly, there is a ton of thing to do and a great variety of fitness classes. The gym is kept very clean and for the price of $20 a month you get everything except the personal trainers or the FIT classes which cost extra. Oh, and something I found out recently is that if you take a guest that’s an extra $10 a month. I thought it was included in the $20 plan but it is not.

Amazing gym i love that they have so much equipment even if they are packed you can still get your work out in. I love that they have childcare my daughter hasn’t ever been away from me and she ran into it and played. They offer so many things tanning , massage chair classes , you can even use up to 90 mins in the daycare twice a day. 100% worth it !

First I’ll start by saying Hillary is such an awesome human. She’s super upfront with costs and answered my all my questions. I do love the gym and I already feel comfortable here, like I’ve been going for years rather than days. The equipment is well spaced out so even when it is busy I don’t feel crowded. I've been to this gym twice with free passes and it has been one of the better gyms I've visited. What ever you are looking for in a workout you can find here. Staff is polite and accommodating. Only thing I can see is new members getting intimidated by layout and other members. I can see this being a step up from a starter facility. Prices are reasonable with three options depending on needs. Will visit again in the future.

My girlfriend just got three $80 charges taken out of her account because somehow she was signed up three times this needed to be put back into her account especially after a rough holiday season! They would not refund it and said it was her fault we recommended friends to go here we will not anymore! We will be writing more reviews forget you VASA!!! Used to love this gym, went on a regular basis and now it's not worth fighting the parking. Unless you are able to go at 11pm or 4am it's next to impossible to find parking. Have not even been able to go because I am sleeping the only hours they have available parking.

I'm extremely frustrated with the gym and customer service both in the facility and over the phone.... In person no one is willing to help or listen to your concerns. Right away you'll get dismissed by a team member and they'll send you directly to the customer care service over the phone or you have to email your inquiry. Good luck trying to speak to someone about a incorrect charges on your account!!! You'll get the run around! Parking there is absolutely terrible and the gym is overly packed. They have been working on the roof and you can tell that none of the equipment had been wiped down since the repairs started. The bases of all the equipment is dusty and disgusting.. You get what you pay for! Cheap membership=cheap costumer care for your clients. I honestly can't wait to get back into my old gym. Bar code #831340V Update... I've left my bar code information, never received a call back. After spending hours on hold with costumer service, I was hung up on and absolutely nothing had been resolved! Thank you VASA for your extreme unprofessionalism. I would love a call back from a manager who understand the rewards/point system!!!

Would be nice if there were a few more basic amenities, like tissues, shampoo, q-tips, etc. I would also like if there was a class or two at noon or later on Saturday and Sunday, instead of just early and mid-morning. Also, there some be some rowing machines on the cardio deck instead of just in StudioRed. I like that the spa is hot and have also enjoyed the classes. Using the my zone band has really enhanced my group workouts.

I've tried to cancel my gym membership twice now, both times I've been told itll be at least 25$ to cancel. When I signed up no one told me about the 6 month lock in, and now that I'm out of the six months i was still told it will be 25$ to cancel. Fully understand that it's a new gym, but there is never a lull in business, so there is hardly any equipment available when I want to go. Not worth the hype and low prices. You're better off at 24 or somewhere else.

Clean new equipment, nice cardio cinema, basketball, great area for deadlifts/squats and love the massage chairs! On the down side the sauna is never hot! There's no shower for washing off before getting in the pool/hot tub so that's gross, and I know they are giving tours but please stop opening the door to the steam room/sauna to show inside. Outside these small fixable things it'd be a 5 star.

Absolutely love this gym! I usually do the classes and love them. Everyone is friendly from the time I walk in until the time I walk out. I’ve never waited more the 10 minutes for the massage beds or tanning beds. I tried the cinema room once but there was no movie playing that day due to a power outage I guess. I’ll definitely try it again though. Super clean too. Love it. I would highly recommend.

EDIT: I did get a call from the corporate office. VASA is planning on opening up a second location on the northern part of the springs sometime this summer. The situation is what it is for now but I do appreciate the response and am hopeful that the parking/crowding situation will improve. I switched from Golds to VASA because it is so near my house, but I'm unsure if I want to continue my membership here. It is nearly impossible to work out on a weeknight. The parking lot (and probably the gym itself) is packed beyond legal capacity. People drive and park like they are in Manhattan rush hour. I feel like I've been sold a gym experience that I don't actually have access to. What's more disappointing is that they are still actively trying to attract new membership through "bring a buddy!" deals and marketing. This gym has beautiful facilitates, it has a great staff, but it needs to cap membership and prioritize its currently paying members.

its a nice, clean gym, and has worked so far in my weight loss journey. The staff is usually super nice, haven't had any issues so far. Recently however, they have been changing WAY too much, used to be easier to bring someone with me. I pay an extra $10 a month to bring someone with me, and its annoying having to have someone sign in immediately. Can't you guys just add like sub accounts or something to make it faster and less annoying.

Facility looks nice, but the pricing is a lie. To get the $9.99 a month, you pay $100 up front and another $50 in two months. That brings it to $269.88 per year, or $22.49 per month. Why can't they just be honest? I don't know what a 'bar code' is. I declined to enroll because of the dishonest way the pricing was presented.

I gave more than 1 star because it is a nice gym but as far as how the business is ran I would only give 1. Be aware when you try to cancel your membership they will be persistent to just put it on hold for 6 months. We finally gave in & said okay. There was NO alert that the 6 months was up (my mistake for not keeping track apparently) & were charged $70. We turned around & closed the account like we wanted to in the first place. After several phone calls I was thankfully able to get some of that refunded, but of course not all because how else do you think they make money? If they expect a 30 day notice from members to cancel then they should be held to the same accountability.

Not giving it a low rating because I hate the gym, I honestly love this gym. When it actually open. I work late and can never make it to the gym before they close. Midnight on weekdays is a little early in my opinion but not terrible. But ten and six o’clock on weekends is horrible. I’ve been paying to go to this gym for over a year now in hopes that eventually the hours would get better, but still no change. I’m honestly at the point of wanting to go to a different gym so I can actually work out. Like I said though I love this gym and I wish I could actually go because it’s a really nice place to work out, just awful hours.

Buyer beware! They charge fees for everything! A rate lock fee, an early cancel fee, bringing a friend fee. I have never been treated in such an unprofessional manner at a gym. The facility is nice, don't get me wrong it's a good place to work out if you are willing to be underwhelmed by the staff. If you bring a friend they are required to leave their drivers license on the counter. When I told them I was uncomfortable with leaving her personal information on the counter they actually laughed at me. Why am I required to trust that no one will take the dl number and use it for something bad? The staff informed me it was for " their insurance". So their insurance company is more important than my identity? The staffs answer continued to be that leaving the i.d. was secure because there were cameras pointed at the desk. Last I checked cameras aren't effective at stopping identity theft. Every single time with out exception that I went in the staff at the front were too busy talking to each other to be bothered to do anything other than hold up the scanner for me to check in while they continued to talk. The parking lot is a nightmare! Good luck finding a space at peak times plan on parking on the street and walking a block to the gym. I cancelled my membership the website said $0 owed then I get charged $56.98 with no notice so that was a new suprised. I've been a member at 3 gyms in my life and this is by far the worst. Don't waste your money or time! Don't become a member here! You deserve better! We all deserve better! Highway robbery, horrible customer service, and an overpriced fee money pit. No good very bad company!
