I received my black belt from Renzo Gracie himself. I have been training for 20 years and I can tell you that Avi is one of the most technical black belts I have had the pleasure of training with. I own an academy in Florida and he has taught many of my classes. He is an excellent professor and honestly Colorado Springs is lucky to have him and the Renzo Gracie team in another section of the great state of Colorado.

The instructor welcomed us and was very polite. My daughter was able to learn some new techniques and have a different point of view in this sport. This school is on its way to the top for sure. Having trained all over the country, I say with certainty that you can't find a better place to learn BJJ or perfect your game that Renzo Gracie CO. Professor Avi takes extra time with each student to ensure they're grasping the material as he imparts his seemingly infinite expertise on them. It is also a fantastic family environment where adults can challenge themselves in a respectful manner and kids can develop into martial artists without undue fear of injury. Professor Avi's school strongly earns my highest recommendation and I can't say enough about it! Give it a try, you only have a lot to gain.

Absolutely best training you can get in the area. Professor Avi is a great guy and truly cares about all of his students. Plus, he gives a good military discount and takes extra pride in training 10th SFG guys who actually use his material. The only people who don't return just couldn't handle it, the rest just become better warriors. Avi makes you work, but you learn a lot while he pushes you and there's no better way to build discipline while also improving PT. Strongly recommend.
