Very Freindly and helpful employees. They have variety fun programs to fit anybody’s need for daily exercise. This is like your own private place for exercise. I had never set foot in a boxing gym before, and I was a little nervous. I was not sure what to expect, but Terry, the owner, greeted me at the door and was polite and very helpful. He explained all of the different training courses they offered and I signed up for the beginner class to see if this was for me. The beginner class is fun! No sparring (No hitting!) I loved it. I would recommend this place to anyone. It's easy to find on Platte Avenue, and the staff is fun and helpful. i am loving the results too! I sweat more than I have ever done and I am getting leaner and stronger with every class. LOVE this place...I am thinking of doing some more advanced training now.

Best boxing gym in Colorado Springs. If you are looking for a flashy gym with nice machines, many coaches, and discouragement DO NOT COME HERE. If you are looking for a family friendly, skill enhancing or skill learning environment come to the old school boxing gym. The moment you walk into this gym you know there's a fighting spirit and humility. Terry is humble, understanding, and skilled beyond measure. He will get in the ring with anyone, when ready. He will only hit you as hard as you hit him, he's not trying to hurt you, he is trying to teach you. It's a small gym, but it's the best gym I have ever come across. There is no better. You will not be disappointed.

Me and my 10 yr old son go here. Terry is awesome and everybody who fills in for him as well as coaches. Solid team. Everybody is helpful and it feels like a homely environment with everybody who goes there. Great place.

Absolutely the best boxing gym in the Springs. The owner who is my personal trainer got me to loose 62lbs in 5 month. Very encouraging and a great surrounding with such positive people. Gave me a new passion and direction for the love of boxing. Always around and a great supporter to fit any of your needs. Great atmosphere, great coaching and no contracts. Sometimes I go in to get help with boxing techniques and sometimes I just go in to get a great sweat. The coaches are willing to help all the time or leave you alone to do your own thing. If your looking for a great gym at a good rate this is the place to be. Would recommend to anyone.

I would have to say the best in town. It's not flashy but you will get your time in. Terry knows his stuff. The other coach is decent...but Terry is definitely the man. He is good with kids, elderly, and those his age range. He will go with your level. He's patient. He makes sure your form is to boxing standards. My son loves it here. The environment is family friendly. When you walk in you can't help but feel the love . This place had me at skill, but will keep us with the positive atmosphere and smiles.

Great boxing gym. Pro Boxer/Coach Terry helps everyone from beginner to advanced develop and fine tune their skills. Always a great workout and an opportunity to continually learn and level up. Good group of people, good vibe, not a lot of ego, and good music. What more could you ask for!!

The staff here are top notch. Terry is helpful, and gives valuable instruction. He is knowledgeable and motivating. He has a lot of experience and skill. Charles is also very kind, and takes the time to help me improve my form and execution. If you want a gym atmosphere that is tight knit, this is the spot for sure.

I started boxing here about 7 years ago and love it. I've been all over the country and haven't found a gym with rates or schedules even remotely close. The atmosphere at Old School is boxing: the owner isn't focused on your money. So many other gyms I've been to have been about getting you in the contract and then you'll learn to box lined up in rows following along to an instructor with no personalization. You need to go in to believe it. *Disclaimer, I am not at the gym now but in the two years I've been out of Colorado I've never found anything remotely close to Old School.

Awesome environment. Friendly, family orientated, and skill focused. Awesome for couples and entire families. Great deals for personal training, and no contract membership. Terry understands boxing on a different level. He has about 15 years of experience, that I know of. If it's busy, he will come and answer any questions you have when training, don't be shy ask. He is an amazing coach. He will give you that one on one training you need. He goes around the room and in detail tells you what to work on and why it will benefit you to do so. He works at your pace. The gym has a homey feeling. There's talent, passion, and a lot of heart at the Old School Boxing Gym. Regulars give the gym a comfortable energy I can't really describe. By far best deal and bang for your buck.

By far best gym I have ever been to. Talent comes through here non stop. You need heart to box and all the regulars here definitely have it. Terry is a good person and an excellent coach. He will even help you with meal plans. I will be bringing my daughter back, to learn some crucial skills to protect herself.

When I first went into the gym I had a bad impression, it wasn't being ran while by the other coach. I believe his name was Charles. Very negative, gloomy , and told me boxing was a fixed sport. I hadn't realized Terry was on vacation, so I didn't go back until recently. With that being said Terry runs the gym very well. He has what you need to fight as a professional or Amateur. Straight to the point, strict, professional coach. Working at your level would have to be his strength. He's great with all ages, gender, and group size. By far best boxing gym I have ever been to. There are no hidden fees or no contracts. You don't have to be committed to going, unless you actually go. Terry is NOT in it for the money, he's in it because boxing is his passion. If you have the will and the heart to do this sport, this is the gym you need to go to. Hands down best around! Giving this gym 5 stars because I know that other guy is not the owner or the actual teacher At the gym and have not seen him since. I am assuming he was substituting. Terry runs the gym exceptionally well. Only advice is ask when he's going on vacation again.... I'm assuming not any time soon...
