Horrible customer service, does not train employees on proper protocol for cancelling daycare portion and NOT membership. Does not return calls , blames customers for believing that THEIR employee tells me proper information. Please always speak to a manager and document names, times, and conversation in person to hopefully get correct information. I only signed up for north for child care which was never used, always worked out at the south gym. Will never take my business back to the north gym after our break for my son's procedure. Please be more understanding of your customers situations and that they are telling the truth. Instead of blaming the customer for what they could of done. Figure out where it went wrong, how to fix it, and how to prevent it in the future. You don't pass blame. I will never recommend this gym to anyone.

The floors are dirty the hot tub and the pool need some serious scrubbing, there's what appears to be red fungus in the showers near the hot tub. I overheard some people talking about how they have complained and nothing has been done about it. I've taken quite a few classes and most of the instructors look like they just walked in off the street and after they could teach a class. I be surprised to know they had any sort of certification. The same goes for the personal trainers that I've seen working with clients. One particular client was doing squats leaning forward and the personal trainer was busy running their mouth not even looking at the form of their client. For a gym that wants as much money as they do, they should be able to pay someone to clean, and get qualified instructors/personal trainers.

Good price for membership. This gym can get too packed to enjoy around 5-6pm. Going in the morning is a way better option. My only problem is that weights and equipment get left around the gym and it’s hard to guess whether they’re being used. Additionally, the paper towels and sanitary wipes run out from the dispensers all the time, so that just sorta bothers my OCD haha.

The pool heater was always off and pool chemical seemed off, terrible customer service I was told the membership was cancelled and they are still charging me, disappointed with this gym did not keep the equipment up very well. Also gyms like this never seem to get results in less you pay for personal training,go to Orange Theory!

Good gym overall. Staff is awesome and there's a lot of space especially up stairs. Lower rating because I wasn't notified of fees involved with child care until after I'd already been there for a while. Part of it was due to the transition from Tru fit to Crunch. Hopefully they've got all of that sorted now though.

First, their hours are incorrectly listed on Google. They close at 7 on Sunday not 8. I found out that one by showing up at 7:04. The equipment is pretty busted and mix and matched, they say they're getting their better official crunch equipment sometime in January? We will have to wait and see

Good gym! Prices are good and the equipment is good. The music is frequently terrible and too loud, and clips/dumbells can be a bit scarce sometimes. Gets a bit crowded too.

Staff is rude. Cages are 6 inches smaller than a normal cage. They don't warn you, which has caused multiple injuries to people I know who lift there. The equipment is often broken, and the classes get cancelled a ton. Save yourself the hassle and go to 24 hour fitness for the same price.

Terrible management and shady business practices. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH A BANK ACCOUNT. These shady managers will do everything they can to get to you to stay, and when you cancel will make it very difficult to leave. Only sign up with a credit card so they can dispute all the shady and fraudulent charges. It's no wonder this place cycles through managers as quick as they do. Shoddy and shady gym. Stay away!

Equipment is old, it squeaks a lot of the time. They close unreasonably early. (Some of us work ALL day and only time we can go is at night). The ceiling near the step climbers equipment is terrible because you breathe in nothing but the material the ceiling is made of; and the vent is in your face so you get that in your lungs, too. Overall, this place sucks lol.

I'm editing my last review because I have yet another bad experience with this place! Woke up this morning at 4:45, got there at 5:05 and the place was closed. Waited until 5:25 and no one got there to open the doors. There were many other angry members waiting outside. This place is ridiculous! Went in today for the 9am class. Was told child care over ratio. Have been waiting for 1.5 hrs to be called so I can come in!!! Super pissed off!!! Not the first time it happens. We haven't been able to come in and work out MANY times b/c child care isn't running the way it should. Always understaffed, sick kids, staff on their phones and not paying attention. Joined because of the price but I'd much rather pay more and be ok leaving my kids in child care. Not only that but we pay for our kids and it just feels like we are throwing money away. Managers seem to not care about this either. I joined when it was trufit, they told me there was no contract and when I wanted to leave (b/c of these reasons) they said I'm stuck until november, with a contract!!! I wish I could just get out of this place. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Would give 0 stars if it was a possibility.

They allow persons to drop weights and not be asked to place the weights down. So when the weights crack good luck on getting them replaced. Crunch doesnt want to hurt anyone's feelings so they allow this to happen. Also they only play 1 kind of music old white music. They forget 90 percent of us are much younger and of color. I'm not an avid gym goer and am very self conscious. The staff at this gym are very friendly and helpful. The facility is usually pretty clean. This gym has tons of machines, classes, and even a pool and hot tub! Highly reccommend Crunch!

Absolute crooks and thieves. If you get a membership here expecting to cancel it, don't even bother. These jack wipes won't cancel it for you, send it to a collections agency and before long you'll owe hundreds of dollars because of the negligence of some minimum wage imbecile. I opened an account in October 2018, went once, didn't like it and called to cancel. I was told it was cancelled. I figured problem solved, no need to worry. I received a call today saying I have a week to pay my balance from November 2018 to March 2019.

don’t ever go here!!! the General Manager will charge you for a $600 training plan without your permission so she can receive the commission. Please explain to me how this happens? i went in to set up training but backed out after i found out it was over $600. she “cancelled” it and then my mom went in to purchase a couple 30 minute training sessions for a cheaper price. one month later i was in the negative by $300 because Alicia or whatever her name is charged my account for a training plan. she sent me a bunch of emails claiming it was a system malfunction when it wasn’t. one of the male employees told me that she does that because she receives commission and that it wasn’t the first time. that’s embezzlement. when all of this happened Alicia gave me the district managers email so i can email her about what happened. come to find out they’re best friends so i guess that doesn’t help my case at all. They’re a bunch of greedy crooks.

When I was looking for a gym to join, I was told to check Crunch out. For $10 a month, the quality of the gym is expected. If you want to get into serious power lifting and body building, don't come here. This establishment is suited for casual citizens looking for some daily exercise. When I attempted to commence power lifting, I found the equipment inadequate. The platform for cleans and dead lifts is somewhat mediocre, and in order to put any weight on the bar, you would have to take from other racks. On most of the racks with free weights, there are some missing and some empty. During busy times, it is hard to do the exercises you want. Only sign up if it is your first time going to a gym.

I went in for a tour because I’ll be moving close by and I was beyond impressed! The assistant general manager gave us a tour and I couldn’t believe how nice the gym is! First of all it is huge!!! There is also plenty of equipment and all of it is in great shape! At the end of the tour she asked if I wanted a pass to come work out and we said yes and not only did she give me a free pass it is good for a month!! Great gym with great customer service! I will be joining the day I move!!

Weird vibe from trainers and no customer service. A couple of their female junior personal trainers were following me and my friend around as we worked out. One of the trainers accused me of training my friend for money. Not sure where she came to that conclusion. I think it's because I am a powerlifting coach at Flex. I go to Crunch to relax, work out and use the jaccuzzi. I do not train people at Crunch. When I went to complain to Dion the manager, he said he was on the phone. I waited 15 minutes, and was ignored by the entire staff. So I emailed their customer service. No response after two days. Too bad. I recommended 4 people to join the gym and they did. No more. Women's bathroom has ants sometimes and the stalls smell sour, but everything else is pretty good.

Almost 3 years at this gym. For the price of membership, they have quality equipment, numerous multi-purpose rooms to use (when available, I’ve never not been able to find at least one open), and friendly staff willing to point you in the right direction. I wish they were open later on the weekends, but that’s my only “complaint.” They run a great operation.

Forget about all the other mainstream gyms out there. This place is awesome ! Everyone minds their own business, their cardio section is located in the first floor separate from everything else so it is never crowded. Most of the people that come to this place are just trying to have a healthy life style so you get a judgment free zone. The only thing I could complain about, something that doesn't apply to most, is that the people working here are not really on the business of building connections. I've gone to other small gyms where the staff liked to get involved, they would make monthly contests so they get to know the most active members.

When I went in for a tour and sign up it was easy and I was greeted by the warm and knowledgeable staff. When I have worked out everyone is kind and it isn't overally crowded. The daycare is also kind and fun. I have enjoyed it so far.

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT JOIN! Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Be prepared to still have your card charged every month even after you have your account cancelled. But wait it gets better .If you call them about your card still being charged they play it off really well and are "shocked" as to why you are being charged still since your account says "cancelled". They then pass you to 3 different managers all who say they will call you back but do not. You send them numerous emails with your statements from your bank account indicating the charges and they still don't give you any time of their day. After all of that they tell you that someone else has your card number and you should consider closing your entire bank account and start a new one. And not to mention if you are the primary account holder and want to cancel your entire family only yours might be cancelled everyone including your two year old has to speak and cancel for themselves because you all are not actually under one membership but each has their own membership charged only on the same card. If you want to donate your hard earned money to a place you haven't been for the past year this would be the place for you.

Do not give these guys your credit card I have called and cancelled my membership at least 5 times and they still continue to charge me I had to cancel credit card. I signed up here as I was temporarily located in CS and paid for my two months in advance and told them to cancel membership at end of October had approval from manager for this and every month since then they charge me put on a $99 yearly fee and keep telling me they put a stop on it and would refund me. 5 times!!! Nope they are still trying to charge me and haven't been refunded over $300 in unauthorized charges.

Love, love love this place! I was a member of Accolade for over a year, and was generally pleased with it (see my Accolade Fitness review). Fortunately I am WAY more than generally happy at Crunch. Great staff, always clean. There a sincere 'Hello!' when you walk in. One small thing that made a huge impact for me was often times a staff member might ask "What are you working out today?" It's something so small but it really put you in the frame of mind to focus and get the job done. All around, I couldn't be happier, except for the yellow kettle ball that is still missing upstairs (where the heck is it? lol). P.S. The cost of membership is straight-up OUTSTANDING!!

She answered every question we had throughout the tour and trust me there were many. The professionalism of Julie C, when she’s the only staff member working is top knotch! Tasked with multiple missions to do and accomplish, yet not to busy to greet every single member as they walk through the door definitely puts a smile on my face and will keep me coming back to this gym for many many years to come! Business are modeled, succeed and live and die around their dedicated employees like Julie. They definitely have a winner in their grasp!!

I'm locked into my contract until September from when they were Trufit, was already upset with Trufit because the PTs won't leave you alone when you're doing powerlifting/strongman training, but the gym itself isn't bad when you consider you're paying about half of what a decent gym membership would run you. Pool is either heavily chlorinated or has bugs in it depending on when they last added chemicals. Will update as time goes on, but I'm already getting a bad vibe from the gym staff now that they're "Crunch Fitness." They don't act very professional from my limited interactions with them, and I get the impression they'll be the kind to bug me in the middle of a 350lb deadlift because I'm "making too much noise" with the weights. Probably perfect for casual gym-goers, but anyone doing an actual respectable weights routine should be cautious. Minus half a star because no trap bar.

Facility and equipment is awesome. The people who work there are all super nice. The only thing that’s a slight bummer is we have a 3 month old baby whose not old enough to go to the daycare. My old gym would let us stroll her around in the stroller. Crunch told us she couldn’t be on the second floor but that we could work out on the first floor in a room across from the locker rooms. No problem, makes sense wouldn’t want her around the weights. So we did that a few times and then randomly they told us we couldn’t do that anymore... how are we supposed to work out if the day care won’t take her and we can’t bring her and supervise her on our own? We don’t have the extra money to pay for a babysitter for 2 hours 5 to 6 days out of the week. But I honestly do really like the gym and once the baby is 6 months it will be a lot easier to work out there.

FRAUD WARNING- DO NOT USE THIS GYM, THEY WILL USE YOUR MONEY TO PAY FOR OTHER PEOPLE'S ACCOUNTS. The 'manager'; Julie is completely incompetent. The lost my paperwork from when I first signed up in 2017. All my personal and account info is STILL floating around somewhere. Then they signed me up for the wrong plan when I tried to get it fixed (after 3 months of going there and friendly hellos with staff, one day they approach me mid-workout to tell me I'm not allowed to be there because I am 'not a member'). MY CHECKING AND CARD IS BEING USED TO PAY FOR 2 STRANGERS' MEMBERSHIPS AND MY MEMBERSHIP HAS BEEN CHARGING ME DOUBLE SINCE DECEMBER 20187. Julie kept saying it was fixed. I went through this every month. She refused to let me speak to someone in corporate who can fix this and she did NOTHING. I canceled my membership 3 weeks ago and I JUST HAD A WITHDRAWAL FOR 2 ACCOUNTS THAT AREN'T MINE. She now says the general manager is Dion, and I need to speak to him. In the 8 months of trying to get this fixed, she never once mentioned a general manager. I don't even know if he is a real person. He doesn't have a phone number. I can only call her at the gym number. I asked why she didn't cancel all the card and checking info when I first notified her. She refused to answer the question. This is fraud. Which makes the fact that half the time equipment doesn't work and the fact that the air conditioning was broken in the lower front level (where the treadmills/ellipticals are) making it 90' in winter, seem like minor issues, when this alone would be a reason not to join this club.

The gym was very clean, it had all the latest equipment and we were not pressured to join. Chris helped us make the right membership and personal training decisions. This is my new gym. It used to be a Bally’s. The price is very reasonable. They have the usual workout equipment that is always clean. But, they also have a little-used pool and deep hot tub. That’s the part I like. And, no kids allowed! The water is clear, clean, and no one splashes me. I didn’t give it a five because the floor beside the pool has been dirty.

We've enjoyed this Crunch for quite a while, but recent management change is very negative. I usually sign in as the guest, our account is under my husband's name. They know us immediately when we walk in the door, and until recently had always acknowledged us as known clients. Now, every time I go to sign in they (and particularly the new manager) interrogate as to whether I have a real account and make me wait in the lobby for my husband to arrive. Terrible customer service, new manager comes across as accusatory and abrasive. Entire staff has changed demeanor since she took over, no longer relaxed and enjoying themselves.

Started working out by myself but felt lost, but then I received a complimentary consultation with a personal trainer Ben. He was knowledgeable, realistic, and very professional. I booked him immediately for sessions and could not be happier. Great group classes, never crowded and wait for specific machines is minimal.

I have only done classes here and have loved all of them and even the instructors. They keep you motivated and I have never felt judged by anyone. I also use they daycare which I also love. Only down fall to the daycare is they only have one person working and only allowed 10 kids. Well babies are considered 3 kids and most everyone that comes has babies. So one time I did drive all the way there and was turned away because it's full. In the long run I feel this may have them lose out on money because one if the reasons I joined is because of daycare. But over all I love the facility!

There an okay gym, but price is good. Only thing is they have bad communication. I've submitted things online and they will never receive it. Or when I transferred to a different crunch they took 5 days to do it. Really if they fixed that this would be 5 stars.

Clean facility. Staff are very friendly and approachable. Equipment is very nice and well kept. Prices are cheap. Has everything you could need, sometimes you just have to use your imagination for lifts.

For as new as this gym is the facility itself is a little rough looking (No frills, straight forward, reminded me somewhat of a Cross Fit box). However, aside from the lack of "pretty" I had a really great experience there. They have some awesome equipment that I've only seen at higher priced gyms, I saw a lot people having sessions with personal trainers, and the "Chisel" class I took was really good (just wish it could have been longer than just a half hour). I was visiting from out of town and I definitely felt like I got my money's worth out of their $5 day pass. If I was a local I'd probably join but their are no Crunch Gyms in my area.

I love this gym, but it's too predictictable that the trainers are going to reserve every damn free weight on the rack for some ridiculous obstacle course that NOBODY uses for HOURS sometimes... Then stare off into space as if they cannot hear you when you ask to grab a barbell.

like a Country club, kinda private w/ different rooms & alcoves.Personal trainers work there, kinda Classy place. the Hot tub was semi Dark & peaceful, great music, nice guests!, clean aquatics!, Clean Gym, disinfectant, towels, on 2 floors so you dont feel like an assembly line work out! feels comfortable.SERVICE DOGS are allowed!!
