Had a month to month membership set up on EFT at Club USA and I cancelled the membership, but they kept drafting my bank account so I had the bank stop the draft... Now over 3 years later I am contacted by apollo collection agency saying I owe club usa 326.00 what planed are these theives from.... Ps the equipment is old and dirty try 24hr fitness you can get a 2 year membership from costco for only 299.00

Great for families because childcare is fantastic. Group classes are super, have enjoyed challenging workouts in Barre, Pilates, pure muscle pump, and cycle mania. I haven't tried other classes but those are phenomenal with all fitness levels gladly welcomed. There are lots of other amenities, but these are why I like Club USA.

If you’re looking for a gym that has everything, Club USA is definitely the one to join. Huge variety of equipment, weights, classes, etc. for an unbeatable price. The kids area is amazing. This is the first gym my children enjoy going to. The entire staff is friendly and always happy, which says a lot about a business. I recommend this gym to everyone I know.

Pros: lots of equipment that is somewhat maintained; pool allows kids; locker rooms decent; staff helpful; prices EXCELLENT if you have a kid/kids ($6/mo Club USA vs $26.99/mo 24 hr fitness); less d-bags that work out here; great weekday hours; awesome guest rates (10/vist Club USA vs $20/visit 24 hour fitness); super nice and helpful staff, especially in the kids center; AWESOME classes!!! Cons: SH*TTY weekend hours (only open until 8pm??? the weekend is the best time for most of us to work out!!!); even SH*TTIER kid center hours (Sat open till 2pm and Sunday open till 1pm) - think I already mentioned that the weekend is the BEST TIME for most of us to work out; crappy membership contracts (fine print will always kill you and your bank account if you don't read it); equipment could be just a tad better looked after; some of their trainers are less than cordial and in fact a few have been downright rude to me just in passing (guess what? I would have paid you to train me if you weren't a total D, but instead I found someone outside the Club due to bad experience). OVERALL: I give this gym a 4 overall for meeting my needs during weekdays...but a 2 for cheating me on weekend hours. I would rather the gym have 2 shorter weekdays than shorter weekends. I value the limited time I have with my family each working night and having to struggle to balance that with the gym is frustrating when so many of us have Mon-Fri jobs. I would like if the kid center were open later on weekends, so I could spend a morning with my kiddo and do an afternoon workout. But, that being said, I wouldn't trade this gym for anything. I knew the contract I was signing, I knew what I was getting as far as equipment, and I knew that I would be making some sacrifices to put my membership to good use. It's more of a family friendly place than a hipster d-bag gym. I love the feeling when I walk in there. The hours are my only major complaint and that I can deal with for what they have and what I pay - plus, you can't beat the child center staff for how well they interact with the little ones!

I am warning people not to sign any paper or do business with these thieves, They will try to get money from you , even though you tell them , explain to them , give something in writing. I was month to month . I canceled and still they want $109 for nothing . For 4 years (2 different contracts) went there like 25 times do to my health. Please take your business somewhere else. They just want your money even after you canceled your contract..

Great gym with an amazing kids area, with two separated sides for kids of different ages. The kids area is by far the best around. You get 3 hours each day in the kids area. No appointment is needed which is great! Very family friendly. Lots of great equipment to workout with too. It has two levels so lots to choose from. The front desk staff is very friendly. Over 100 different classes to do. Great dance program for kids of all ages. This gym has something for everyone.

The staff people are nice and there are lots of machines and a good walking track. I'm a swimmer and the pool was not designed for serious swimmers. It doesn't overflow and the water is too warm. To be fair, none of the nearby health clubs have swimmer's pools either. The hot tubs are not as warm as I would prefer. Overall, it is a good operation.

Friendly staff, Never have had a problem with the staff at this location always productive and friendly however the majority of the people who go to this gym give off a very cocky and “better than” vibe, and ive encountered many rude people who feel entitled to use the equipment that is clearly ocupied. I cant stand the negative vibe here, it honestly makes me not want to work out. You would think the buff guys would be the nicest and most humble but those are the guys who stare and make you feel like youre stupid and dont know what youre doing. The people here(Not the staff) the PEOPLE who work out here are major buzz kills and have staring problems and bad vibes. I will be switching gyms, thank you for your services Club USA.

I really like it here at Club USA. Myself and both of my sons and both of my daughters have been here for about six years now and we really love coming here. The sales staff was great, and we have become lifelong friends with Chris in particular. she has always taken care of everything that we've needed, and I've gotten to know the owners as friends during this time. To be honest, one simple thing brought me to the gym, and that was the rumor that they had 150 lb dumbbells! Try to find that at 24 hour fitness or one of the other Foo Foo Jim's. you will find bodybuilders here, you will find a few powerlifters, but one thing is for sure and that's the fact that you will find friends here. Hot tubs, dry sauna, wet sauna, lap pool and play area, as well as someone to watch the kids while you are working out. There's nothing else that I need in a gym and this is my place!

I have been coming to club USA for about 20 years on and off, every time I go to another fitness club it doesn't compare to club USA. love the two front desk girl so welcoming everytime I come in, they have been there for years. Also love Jackie she is so cute love her smile and laugh very nice. But one thing I can't stand is the girl trainers very rude to people I have seen them be very rude to the older people.I miss the older trainer that where there years ago they where very nice and always so personable and always willing to help you out even if they had clients.

My mom and I have been memebers here for about 8 years now and I don't have very many complaints at all! My daughter adores Lidnsey in the nursery, she is so sweet and I know I can trust her! The front desk people are so friendly as well, they always make me smile when I see them. DO NOT USE CLUB USA!!!! We joined the club while living in Littleton, CO and were faithful users for a year and a half. My husband's job unfortunately came to an end and we were forced to move out of state due to housing prices and the need for a new job. Club USA will not let us out of our contract unless we pay them $150 dollars!!! It is not our fault that they do not have locations 2000 miles away in our new hometown in Florida. We would happily still pay and use the facilities if they did, but they do not. That is on them, not us. Every gym imaginable allows cancellation of memberships free of charge when it is NOT the members fault that there are no locations of the gym in their new living area. BEWARE AND RUN FAR unless you can GUARANTEE you won't be moving during your contract.... FYI life has no guarantees Club USA. Yep, it's in the fine print of the membership that you can cancel for a hefty sum. NOT in the main contract, hidden in the 4th page, that's a different color and barely glossed over by the rep who doesn't tell you it costs to cancel, just that you CAN if you move x number of miles away. The rep who doesn't give you time to read and points to sections and tells you what it "basically" says. Nice job on those ethics Club USA. I'll be telling everyone about your practices and to go far from you. Go to Chuze people. They have childcare, nicer facilities, AND are WAY cheaper. Club USA is not ethical and should treat their loyal members better. NOTE: To owner's response below. There are FIVE pages and I have all of them in front of me. 2 pages (a front and back) are on a yellow sheet of paper. 3 pages (clearly labeled at the bottom as 1 of 3, 2 of 3, 3 of 3) are white. The point is your club is unethical. No company does this to people who move outside their radius let alone 2000 MILES away. Also, your sales people are deceptive and do NOT clearly explain this and do NOT allow time to read it as they rush you thru quickly where to sign. This will not be the end of this unless my contract is voided as paid in full and I receive a copy. I will tell everyone I know to never use your company and I know a LOT of people through the health and wellness company i'm part of right there in Littleton, CO not to mention the moms groups and schools, etc.

The temperature in the gym during summers is pernicious for health. The air conditioner is set on 76 degrees while the recommended temperature for the gyms in cardio and weight-training areas is 65-68 degrees on average. Apparently, the owner is trying to save money on electricity bills at the expense of customers' cardiovascular systems since he keeps raising it every few weeks. The control box is locked, so the staff don't have access to the AC.

My wife bought me a membership, started going. Not everyone that shows up is there to work out, hard to do weight circuit when someone lays down their personal items on a weight machine to play with their phone, then heads up stairs to do the very same thing!!

A great place to workout; nice for adults as well as families. And for those with younger kids, the Kids Club and Action Fitness are wonderful benefits of membership. I love the Red Zone add-on especially, but there are tons of great options for other classes and training opportunities. A pool, yoga, running track - all available here. I highly recommend this warm, friendly club to anyone in the SW Denver area.

My husband got me a membership as a gift. It is overpriced for what is offered. I only get a half day membership for more cost than what other gyms are offering for the full day. The gym is also a bit outdated. The Red Zone is an extra fee on top of that. I felt nickel and dimed and so cancelled my membership to move somewhere else. The child care workers were awesome though, from what I experienced.

The best hidden secret in Littleton CO! If you're looking for a fitness center in Littleton, look no further! This place is the perfect balance between "Family workout facility" and "Still has parking spaces". I love this clean, well-maintanted facility! They have a great pool, sauna/ steam room and twin whirlpools. I can tan FOR FREE and they have a half-dozen brand new hydro-massage beds (what a way to start my day!). This place has been around since the 90's and its not going anywhere!

I have been going to CLUB USA for 4 years. The kids love to go to the kids center and alway have fun. I love that it’s a family friendly pool with a hot tub the kids can use. It has a very friendly atmosphere and staff. They have lots of equipment and you can alway find something to do during your workout. Tanning and massage chairs are a wonderful little plus to the gym. The towel service is awesome to have so I don’t have to remember a towel. Offers a Lot of classes for everyone.

We joined Club USA in 2002 when my daughter was 2 1/2 and my son was 14 months. They have literally grown up there!!! (in fact, my son took his very first steps there) The minute we walked in the door, it felt like home!! I was very nervous leaving my kids for the first time in the Kids club, and all the employees made the kids and I feel welcome. The kids eventually moved into Kids Action Fitness side, which is BY FAR the BEST addition a gym could ever do for their members. My kids were one of the first to go in once it opened, and I had to drag them out of there when I was done with my workout! :-) The coaches were amazing, always challenging the kids with various workouts, but also making it fun at the same time. Fast forward several years and my son turned 12 and wanted to start working out with me. I started teaching him about lifting weights and we would do various cardio activities. Eventually HE was creating the workouts for us! :-) He is now 15 1/2 and an expert lifter, and works out almost every day. He has transformed his body and boosted his self confidence in a way I have never seen with my own eyes. HE is training ME now!! :-) I will always credit Club USA for helping so much in his transformation!! I also workout every day, it's an addiction, one that I will never give up!! Club USA's staff and members are also like family to me!! I love everybody at the gym, great group of caring people!! I honestly don't know how I would have got through some of the "downs" in life without Club USA. ♥ THANK YOU to ALL the staff and members for being SO wonderful to us over the years and treating us like family. We are blessed to be members of the BEST GYM EVER!!!!! :-)

Horrible customer service. Treated as a number and all they want is your money. Cari in accounting is the worst! Just a crappy person. You would think they would use all the money they are making off these people to but some new gym equipment instead of just piling up more and more junk equipment making it more and more crammed for space. The pool and hit tubs stink like from never cleaning them. Worst gym ever. Mostly because of the customer service though.

We have been going to CLUB USA for years now and we really like it. It has a very friendly atmosphere and staff. They have lots of equipment, You can usually get a machine without any problem. I utilize the sauna almost every time I go and it is so nice. The locker rooms are always clean with plenty of space. I would, and have, recommended this gym to a number of my friends!

Updated Review: Updated review, when a business can’t work with you in situations that life brings you....aka moving....and provides horrible customer service, well they’ve just lost a customer and now have gained one that will tell anyone I know not to come here. MEMBER BEWARE. So let me first start off this review by we used to frequent here and enjoyed the gym for the most part. It’s outdated, gets pretty muggy in the summer as they won’t update their A/C, but besides that is a great gym with lots of equipment that gets fixed quickly if broken. I’m a massive fan of service, which is why this place gets a 1 Star. We signed a 2 year contract with Club USA and only had 5 months left in our contract. My wife gave birth to our newborn son, and we moved to the Lonetree area in a house instead of renting. We called to see if we could cancel our membership since we had moved so far away from their ONLY location, and they said “the contract states you can only cancel if it’s over 25 miles”. We are at about 15 miles. I let the Membership office now that I understand the miles, however my wife and I go to the gym after work as this is the only time we can make it work with our jobs and childcare. It takes us 45 minutes to nearly an hour depending on traffic just to make the drive over there. There is no way we can take nearly two hours out of our day just to make a drive in Denver traffic to the gym. I let them know this issue and there was no effort whatsoever to try to make it right. We paid the majority of our membership down and there was no middle ground? No customer service...wait...I mean MEMBER service? Nope. They told us we could find someone to take over our membership but that’s it. Horrible service overshadows anything good in a business in my perspective. So try this place if you’re ready to get locked into a membership you can’t get out of, even for normal life circumstances. I’d try the Chuze, Vasa or 24 Hour Fitness only a block away and save yourself the headache.

I have belonged to four other gyms in the past, and none of them even came close to offering the excellent workout classes or high quality equipment that this gym provides. Also, the staff is extremely kind and friendly besides being very knowledgeable. I would give it six stars if that were possible. Club USA is definitely the best gym in Denver!

I’ve been going to Club USA for years. I’m writing this review from an angry place because I always go to the gym LATE and drove all the way out there (hour round trip), just to find it closes at 8pm on SATURDAY now!! (Swearing removed) The front desk and the late night cleaning staff offer great customer service, but I’ve always received terrible service from everyone else. It makes me want to change gyms, even though their cost is fair, and I love their hot tub and pool. To say something nice, I like their mix of equipment and the hydro massage chairs are a fun benefit. I drive past like a thousand gyms to get here, so maybe it’s time for a change.

I used to love going to the gym 3-5 days a week at other clubs, but now I fear going to the gym because my kids get sick every single time I bring them here. Both the manager and the kid’s club manager seem to think the cleaning schedule is satisfactory, but it is far below the standards of the 3 other clubs I have been a member of. When I discussed my concerns with the manager, his reply was, “I don’t take a loss.” He wasn’t willing to help me out with my situation at all. Just a fair warning to other parents out there, this is not a clean place to bring your children.

As with most gyms, you're going to have a membership agreement, and there's going to be occasions where the equipment / facilities are being worked on - so don't let the negative reviews fool you. My wife and I and our son have been members here for 5+ years and we absolutely love it. The amenities and staff in both the nursery and kids action fitness are top notch and the rest of the facility is great too. I see a lot of people posting negative feedback about the contract but guess what, every gym has one and dont complain about it after you've signed on the dotted line. I love coming into my sanctuary and working out and talking with acquaintances I've made here, they make it that much better. To be honest, I checked out VASA a few weeks ago just to see what they offered, and the prices and amenities at Club USA far outweigh their competition. Keep up the good work guys.

When I signed up I signed a 12 month contract as I signed a 12 month Lease near the gym. They gave me 3 months free... GREAT! They even prorated the first month out of contract so I paid $10 vs $30... Cool. Now im moving and want to end my contract but im being told my contract goes for another 4 months because of the 3 free months, so they are not free at all. Also its $150 to break the contract and they want proof that im moving more than 25 miles. Also this place is VERY DIRTY. I have worked retail and at gyms and understand it is not easy to keep clean, but its their job. There is a VERY strong smell of MILDEW in the mens locker room that is so strong I don't even want to pee in there and it says a lot when there are many outhouses that smell better. Machines are rarely cleaned. I watch the cleaning people walk in circles around the place and pretend to wipe stuff (they only clean the seats and handles) so you can be any machine will have a thick layer of dust everywhere else. I would consider this place dangerous with all the attachments that are stored by leaving them on the floor. As a 21 year old even I am worried about falling there. The staff is not especially friendly, I normally great the front desk people. I had a awkward moment when I forgot my head phones and the trainers had an elaborate conversation about the "Titty bar" they went to last night. Overall is a dirty lower class establishment that has little to non existent management. I would not mind going here if I didn't have to play the same price as 24 Hour Fitness (witch is right around the corner) Note: they do have alot of heavy weights such as dumbbells for those who like to lift heavy things, however I am not one of those people.

Im not impressed at all. Upstairs is very messy and there are benches all over like a tornado went off. The floors are slanted in the abb/stretching areas and rubber is bubbling/coming up all over upstairs. The worst part is what follows...The older adults are nice but the younger hot shots come in and the whole environment becomes uncomfortable because of their clicky groups bashing others and clearly talking about others in a demeaning way. Expected a better environment from a family gym but was proved wrong. Most likely changing gyms after my membership is up because of the uncomfortable environment that these guys/ladies make. This is not the environment you want to be in if these low lifes decide to bully you like high school kids. UPDATE: 4/10/18 Membership cancellation is just now processing....WOW!!! have literally paid probably around $700 for a membership I haven't used in the past 1.5 years.

I love this gym! As someone that has trained as a bodybuilder & a power lifter, it can be hard to find a gym that offers what I need (for example, Chuze fitness didn’t have any loadable barbells, etc). I have seen some people say that they don’t like the younger crowd in the weight area, but it is very reassuring for me to see other people lifting heavy. The only downfalls for me are that a) people don’t re-rack their weights & when they do, they do it wrong, and b) there are only 3 squat racks. Please get more!

Awful customer service!! I was trying to join and trying my pass on day 1 of the 3 day trial and was not greeted and the young man by the name of DOMINIC at the counter was extremely rude and patronizing. Customers first experience is THE FRONT Desk and if you can't put a smile on and be friendly especially to POTENTIAL CLIENTS then this company is not someplace I want to support. 24 here I come!

I joined because of the day care. Great Idea. But the place smelled like urine and the pools and hot tubs were nasty. After not using the account for 3 months. They call me to tell me that they will not cancel my 6 month member ship until I write a letter to them Canceling the membership. I would not recommend. I think any ymca would be better and not smell like urine.

I absolutely love this gym. I've been a member for about 3 years now. The staff is INCREDIBLY friendly and helpful. The equipment is clean, updated and there's an abundance of it! Anytime something does breaks they get it repaired fast (but it's not a frequent occurrence that something breaks). They have a pool, steam room, sauna, hot tub and showers! This place has everything but the membership fee is so reasonable! The only reason I would cancel this membership would be if I moved out of state.

There are so many great class options and great teachers that have also been with Club USA for quite a while. When our kids were younger, we appreciated the quality childcare as well. The Red Zone staff are what make this the best gym in town. Extremely knowledgeable and they truly care about your progress. Every workout is custom built around functional training, you never get bored with the same routine. Having had multiple injuries and major surgeries, I am amazed at how my body has recovered and how my strength and endurance have drastically improved. The facilities are also top-notch, they are constantly reinvesting in new equipment. For the price you can't beat it, best value you will find!

I feel like it's a good sign when you walk in and 95% of the people working out not only look like they're in great shape, but they know what they're doing and they are serious about it. Facility is average at best (old equipment and uncomfortable crowd) and when I canceled, they didn't actually cancel my membership and left me a bill for $150 for time I hadn't even been using it. Been a member here for 15+ years. The place has a lot of square footage and is close to my house. It is an older facility and it shows. They do not do a good job of keeping it clean and upgrading it appropriately. It feels as though they are not willing to reinvest enough money to keep it fresh and maintain it appropriately when compared to other gyms their size. The place seems tired which is a shame in that I prefer the locally owned gym vs the national chain players.

I have been a member since April of 2017. However, I signed up specifically for a personal trainer as I wanted to get more toned and definition. Jackie was great and recommended Kim. I called Kim and was able to meet with her just a couple days later. After our first meeting, I knew she was going to push me. She seemed tough (in a good way) but that is what I needed to get myself into shape. It has been almost 3 months of training with Kim, and I have been consistently seeing her 3x a week. Last week we decided to up it to 4x a week. Now let me tell you. I have had trainers before, but never in my life have I looked forward to training at the gym. That all ended when I met Kim. I now consider her a dear friend. She pushes me, motivates me, and is honestly one of the best assets at your gym. She is friendly to everyone around her, helps people when they need it, answers questions, her knowledge of the equipment is extensive, she texts me motivations, makes me laugh, and I can go on and on. I also am very motivated because of how Kim presents herself. She is legit and I think everyone, including myself, wants our body to look like hers. ;-) She is professional and honestly I just wanted to write this email because I will be a long time customer of yours because of Kim. I really like your gym too by the way. Everyone else I have met is so nice too.

This is a great gym. I have no issue with the quality of it. It has many amenities. However I would warn anyone to go find another gym. You are signed into a two year contract, without the ability to cancel. I thought I was able to cancel it (like most other ethical gym memberships do). I've been a member a little over six months, and I was told this morning that I can't cancel it unless I'm disabled or moved away. I've had a surgery, and I've had some medical issues, I realized I'm not going to be able to use this membership for awhile but I have no choice but to keep it. How messed up! Response to owner: I believe you when you say I am locked into this service agreement. I'm saying it's not right. People should be able to end service agreements. What you are doing is antiquated business practice. Why join this gym when you have the flexibility and freedom to start and end the service agreement with several other equally good gyms in the area? I will warn people on every available feedback website.

Cari C in the business office who handles the accounts is very unprofessional and think twice about their contract and make sure you copy everything they give because they will say they don’t have the cancellation form and continue to charge you. I was a member for 8 years off and on and always thought good things of the staff but she is very unprofessional and I was talked to horribly never felt so let down by a business before.

This gym is money hungry .. they set the charge to be on the 25th of the month and won’t process the cancellation of the membership until the 30th to allow themselves to take another charge. I submitted the cancellation request on the 3rd and they won’t process it until the 30th so that they charge me on the 25th. Their staff members are so rude and have no respect. All they say is Contract! And they clearly make money from inactive members. My contract was for a year and I only been there for about 5 times. And when I requested to cancel, they made me so upset and had no respect at all. If I could give them 0 star, then I would.

Facilities are ok. Unfortunately, I'm locked in the ubiquitously mentioned contract myself. I wish I would've taken more time to decide on joining, but I'm locked into their antiquated contract. The gym isn't the newest or cleanest, which is ok. I'm perfectly happy to clean equipment that I use. Don't count on working wifi which is important to some. When calling with a billing concern, I was met with zero empathy for my not understanding an additional charge and was just told that my son signed for a charged class. I get that billing questions get old, but it'd be nice if the office offered at least a compassionate explanation to a brand new member. My first impression with the business office was the first (not last) time I have questioned my choice in signing the lengthy contract I did. I highly recommend being extremely thorough in touring and meeting the staff before signing up. There are a lot of great facilities popping up with more current contract styles, I would encourage doing your research. All of this said, I cannot say enough about the kindness of the front desk staff! They keep me coming back, for sure!

I enjoy the gym and the equipment. The different work out areas within two levels distribute people when it gets busy. Having a daycare is great for us as a family. The child care area for older kids is really awesome, with an interactive light up dance floor, workout equipment and activities. Even though they advertise activities for the younger kids, I haven't seen any of that, although they have plenty of toys to play with. The TV is always on playing movies. The daycare hours are okay- its too bad the gym closes at 8 on Saturdays and Sundays. That is the best time work a working family to go. What I LOVE about the gym is the Smoothie Bar with Behrooz. The smoothies are incredible! I go to the gym just to get them when I can't work out. They taste amazing, with hardly any sugar and over 20 fruits and vegetables. Behrooz is the sweetest, most generous man, who even treats our son to a free smoothie. I can't say enough how much we adore seeing Behrooz and how great it makes our work out experience! The only issue I've had with the gym is that on a Saturday night, the crew actually shut the lights off on all the people swimming. Not a great thing when you are swimming with a 2 year old. None of us heard that the gym was closing, so that was a little strange.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! My wife and I greatly regret doing business here... First of all, the social scene in the gym is uncomfortable. The main crew that works out there are a huge clique that make life seem like high school all over again. There is plenty of judgment and criticism permeating the entire gym. Second, the equipment is old--most likely a couple decades old. I made this observation before I became a member, of course, but I decided to sign up since the location was pretty close to where I lived. There are far better deals in town for gym memberships. Last (and with that being said), I called to cancel our membership. I signed up for the standard one year agreement in Aug. 2015. Unfortunately, I had moved to a different apartment several months later and lost my original contract in the process. I explained exactly what had happened (that I lost our copy of the agreement/contract) over the phone, and I was told that because I signed up under a promotional "deal" where I had been a member for "free" for three months, the contract would continue AFTER Aug. 2016 until Nov. 2016. That was surprising since I wasn't aware of this fact, AND it was never explained when I first started our membership. However, I did not have our contract on hand, and I was honestly somewhat okay to accept that I was being forced to complete 15 paid months of being a member instead of just 12. Next, I was then told that my membership would expire in Nov. 2016. This is where everyone MUST pay attention to not only THIS review but also the other people that have left reviews regarding this clandestine and deceptive business. There was indeed NO explanation that I had to HAND-write and turn in a specific request to terminate the gym membership. Knowing that I did not have a copy of the contract anymore, wouldn't it be wise to inform a customer that they have a contractual agreement to present a handwritten form explaining they want to cancel their membership? My wife and I did make it explicitly clear on two separate phone calls that we wished to cancel the membership, after all! I asked them twice very clearly what I need to do to effectively terminate the contract, and all a representative told me was that I had to wait until Nov. 2016 and that in the meantime I could transfer the membership to two other people (in place of me and my wife) if I didn't want to continue the contract. With that being said, I have been charged for two months AFTER Nov. 2016. If I hadn't marched into the business office (I had to take a day off to do so because their hours are not good for me), they would have kept charging me until the day I die, and then maybe some more--this is precisely what has happened to other people. Guys, come on, go do business elsewhere. My wife and I hadn't stepped foot inside the gym for the very last four months, and I kindly requested a refund for the two months that they charged me past the contract expiration; they disrespectfully REFUSED. This gym may have started with good intentions, but it looks like the number of clients has gone to their heads. Either that or they are struggling financially and feel the need to screw people. Speaking of numbers, I questioned the business office as to why they don't send out reminders about cancellation policy via email, text, or snail mail when clients are about to reach the end of the contract, and the lady in the business office simply said that there are over 1000 members, and it would be just too much work to send reminders. Again, this is extremely poor customer service because they misrepresent the truth and try to squeeze every last drop out of you. There is no grace here, folks. They don't even give you a millisecond to explain your situation or circumstances, and they treat you like a dollar sign. GO ELSEWHERE! The other bad reviews I have read on Google and Yelp are ABSOLUTELY true.

It's honestly not a bad gym at all, and I still have a 24hr Fitness membership. I keep the 24hr Fitness membership just because honestly, I am only here for 2 years MAX maybe less. It's just closer to one of several rental properties my wife and I have where we are currently using this one while putting together construction loans and plans for a house build out on our ranch not in the surrounding area. I don't have to drive if I don't want to, it's literally maybe a 2 minute walk for me, but sometimes I drive just because I am weird like that hahaha. I like that you can go in through the back. I've been a member of 24hr Fitness for 15 years now, and a member here for less than 1 at the time of this posting. Personally, I like the whole change of atmosphere though, the equipment is a mix of newer/older, but, I like that to cause it's just different and works out different things for a good change up (just keep up with them lubed and working), the hydro chairs are pretty sweet and I enjoy that here and there, don't personally use the tanning booths myself but I figure it's a nice amenity for those that do, pool, hot tubs, steam rooms....it works for me and I haven't had any issues with them (just keep it going and keep them clean). Don't really do the classes either, but I never have even at 24hr and for those that like them, I don't know. Overall, I like the place and my decision to have another contract at a gym that is working for my convenience. I am not worried about breaking my contract if need be either because I can pay the fee which is my responsibility for breaking a contract anyhow. That just seems pretty basic. Yes, it's a little older facility because they have been there for some time (certain 24hr Fitnesses across the country look the same depending on how long they've been there to), so I don't get caught up in aesthetics. So if I had cons even though I am probably around 95% happy here, it would be, yes, it does get a little hot (there are fans but....whatev, doesn't bother me yet I wouldn't argue with cooler either), and then my other con would be...."the guests/customers" themselves. Don't get me wrong now, I think most of them (probably 90%) are great, but, like any gym, you got the arrogant meatheads to, younger and older. When it comes to them I'm just like, no I don't care about your muscles, your looks, or any of that bs. I don't give a fk who you are either or whoever you think you are, but when someone puts their stuff on equipment they are using.....you don't ever touch it. It doesn't matter if you think they are taking too long (at the water fountain/wherever else), learn patience, or if you want to work in, simply ASK, and be polite about it to. If you have a problem being polite about it, that is where management or other entities can, will, and do step in to help you learn it. Of course they have their lame cliques to and if they feel threatened somehow by someone else (usually financially better off) it's like they have to let their presence be known, be a dk, or work out by you and slam weights and grunt loud. The only problem is I can be a dk to once it gets brought my way and have no problem laying out realities. Not to mention, if you don't have stuff on the equipment when you leave, somebody else that starts working in more than likely didn't notice you were working out CAUSE YOU DIDN'T LEAVE ANYTHING. I would just say ownership, management, and employees should encourage no slamming weights, and the being polite route of not touching other people's stuff and interrupting their workout. Most gyms I've been to, including 24hr have the same thing, but they do watch it closely and will intervene. I've only had a couple issues here, but again, on the whole it's been great. So, sorry about the long review. I may workout quite a bit when I can, and be pretty well off to yet I like my weed also hahaha. Overall it's a great place though and the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is I never believe in 100% perfection of anything. See y'all next week.

I've been attending this gym for a few months now and have been reading through some of the other reviews. Most of the complaints other people have could have been avoided if they had read the contract. When I signed up last August or September, everything was explained to me clearly and was mentioned in the contract. Yes, there's a cancellation fee; yes, you sign a contract for a certain amount of time and have to pay the fee if you want to close out early; yes they still charge you even if you only go once and never cancel again. It's all the same stuff Planet Fitness does and these guys only charge about $5 more a month and have much more equipment. Remember, you signed a contract. Read it before you sign it. Now, to get to the gym itself, I'm the type of person that goes in, keeps to myself, and primarily only uses free weights and cardio machines. I don't often do classes so I can't comment on those. The only thing I've noticed is that a lot of their equipment is older but the gym staff keep it in good condition. I also don't think it's necessary to have the most up-to-date equipment to get in a good workout. When something breaks, they fix it in about a week. They also have enough equipment that I've rarely had a hard time getting my workout in.

I have been going to this gym for literally over 26 years. The draw at the time was not only their multiple fitness classes, but the kids club they had. Instead of a small cubby with nothing to do that was offered at the large chain fitness clubs at the time they had games and activities for the kids and now they even have the kids fitness club which is for the older kids and has fitness game areas, computers, and more. This club has met my need in every way over the years.
