Ok gym, cheap and you definitely get what you pay for. No pool, basketball court, or racquetball. This gym is basic with old weights and some pretty territorial people, but it's better than the 24 hour fitness down the road. Closes early AF on the weekends, so you can only workout in the evenings 4 days a week.

Great gym. I read some reviews about them charging even though the member didn't go - it's in the contract. It's not a "pay per use" gym and they go over everything when you sign up. If you can't get there, it's YOUR responsibility to let them know! This gym contract is extremely easy to get out of. Most other gyms, including 24, you have a longer contract that you'd have to pay off entirely. Stop blaming the gym because you can't communicate. It's a good gym and has great equipment

Gym is great I'm active duty and stay in the barracks and would rather make the drive to the gym rather then staying on post. It's less packed you can move around and get your workout in.

I have been using this gym for the past year and I have got to say this is the most laid back relaxing atmosphere. Very little crowd in the morning! The early morning staff are great, extremely helpful and funny.

Very clean gym with sanitizer and wipes always stocked. Sauna at this location. Large variety of exercise equipment. Ample but not excess amount of cardio equipment. Well balanced.

After reading the one star rating i just want to say that they are wrong ive never experienced any of what was said. Staff has always been friendly and i have always been greeted as i came in and when i leave. Never have ive seen anyone drop weights or be loud and obnoxious....just saying. If you want a gym where you can work out and not be bothered this is your gym

Clean! How often can you say that about a gym!? I love that they provide towels and spray to clean stations before/after you use them. Nice changing area. Dry sauna needed help at my last visit but still works well.

Called and asked how much a 1 month membership is. Gentleman on phone said $30 for one month guest pass. I asked how much if I want to do another month after that and he said $30. 2 hours later I show up and some how the price changed to $35 a month but with a $50 to $75 initiation fee. None of which brought up on the phone when I asked "oh, $30, that is all?" His defense was he only works one day a week (meaning he doesn't need to pay attention?) In response to owner: If owner heard the exchange then they would have heard the employee say "sorry, the $30 was last week but it has now changed to $35 and I forgot." However even the owner is still baiting in with $30 and then sneaking in the enrollment fee later. When customer asks "is $30 all I would pay for 1 month to use facility" and the staff says "yes" then it is a bait and switch when it is turned into $69. On a side note, I have not been around gyms because of number manipulation and overall pushy feel from quick talking staffs.

I love this gym! Ive been to many others and this place feels right for me. Its always clean. Free rtx circuit and yoga classes. New machines! They have a Ninja warrior training equipment! Its not loud and a serene environment. Did i say they have a private dry sauna? I did now!

Originally left a bad review, but the owner was cool enough to talk with me about my concerns and I feel like that’s not something you’ll get at other gyms. They’ve made huge improvements with the equipment and the membership is very affordable. No gym is perfect, but having an owner who actually cares goes a long way.

Dear Duane Johnston, I DID love Accolades fitness until I recently ran into some trouble. after starting up my membership with my husband several months ago, I went in to cancel and to my surprise Accolades charged me an additional $25. I called and spoke with Arron who said that not only was he the one that canceled my membership but he refused to refund my $25 charge due to his mistake. I asked him who the manager was, he I formed me it was him. I asked him several times who the owners were and he refused to give me that information. After I told him that I would look online to find out who the owners were, only then did he tell me your name. I then asked him for your contact info and he refused to give it to me or leave a message for you to return my call. I called the south location and left a message there. Three days later I called again and because she knew my name she told me she was instructed from Arron that she could not give you my information to call me back nor would she give me any of your contact information. I am deeply disappointed at the level of disgruntled service I have received from Arron and the rest of the employees. I only ask that you look into the $25 mistake charge so you can see if there is a training opportunity. Thank you

I am no longer a member of Accolade Gym because I moved. I really loved this gym. It had everything I needed and the price was very reasonable. The equipment is clean and well-maintained. Aaron White is an excellent trainer. I wish I could still go there but it is too far away from my home now.

I like the location, but it doesn't always feel clean. The treadmills safety cords are grimey and the controls could be cleaner. There could be someone available to answer questions about the machines, not a coach, but make sure people are clear on positioning. The front desk people are congenial a d as helpful as possible without leaving their post.

Sent our letter to cancel twice. Have the documents and everything. Could never get them to stop running our card. Had to get a new card. Very poor customer service.

Owner and manager are liars. We sent a certified letter and went in person to cancel our membership in June and Sept. We moved out of state and we have spoken to Ben and Travis who are very rude. I have verification of the receipt of the certified letter. Today they asked me to send another letter and after we told them we would be writing reviews online they called back and agreed to cancel but no refunds on the past due fees we are owed. They accuse people of lying when they are in fact the liars. Extremely unethical company. Don’t do business with them.

I go to accolade fitness for many reason. First this is the cleanest gym I have ever been to. Secondly it is organized and people put things back. The staff is great. I bring a friend every day and he plans to join once his membership is up at another low level gym. I LOVE this gym! Go try it out, you will love it too!

Staff was rude to me on a couple occasions and my wife had an emergency surgery and I ripped a muscle and we didn't cancel our membership and had no money in the bank and they made me pay for 3 months I never set foot in the gym before I could come back which I did then I went to cancel my member ship today and they made me pay for another month even though I'm not going there any more and they was like you can still come for another month and a half so I paid for 4 months I never set foot in the gym I have been to a lot better gyms in the springs glad to put this place behind me. never felt so screwed by a gym in my life and I've been to a lot of different gyms in the springs

So far I am very satisfied with my membership. This is an awesome gym and has many amenities such as tanning unfortunately they do not have a pool. Friendly judgment free environment With a huge selection of machines free weights and cardio equipment, The also have some specialty equipment for crossfit training And more. Personal trainers are available and the price for membership is definitely worth what you get with it.

The best local gym on the Westside! This location is much better than the one on Garden of the Gods... Its cleaner, better organized, and the weight room has enough squat racks for everyone. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and equipment gets fixed in a timely manner. The only downside is that they only have one deadlift platform.

I really like supporting the small chains, but in this case, their policies and procedures are just too outdated. My credit card was stolen and I had to replace it. All my other billers automatically updated to the new account. I wasn’t notified for 3 months from Accolade that my card was being declined and I was accumulating late fees, as I had been out of town. Whatever, I paid them and cancelled my membership. But in order to do that, I had to pay another 5 1/2 weeks of membership that I didn’t want. All I had was their word that they called the first month and had the wrong number the second month. In this day and age, there are many other ways to get in touch with a person that provides verification the person was actually notified....mail, email, etc. $100 lesson learned. In the future, I’ll stick to the companies who at least know how to send an email.

I'm a member of Accolade Fitness on Arrowswest Drive, but love the fact that I can also use this location at no additional charge. Just like the other location it is clean and friendly. They have a little different equipment at this location which makes it nice when I want to change up my workout. Lots of cardio, free weights and machine weights. Like the other gym it has no day care. That's about the only shortcoming I can find.
