I joined the 16 week fitness challenge. I was very over weight and no desire to exercise. After joining the challenge and meeting my trainer all that changed. Cornelius is a very awesome trainer. He is honest and truthful. He never miss a class and is always on time. He worked me very hard. When things began to get easy he would up the level. He always change the exercise and had us doing different things. I began to really like boxing. I thought that I could not run but he has taught me that I'm not to old to run. I lost 10 pounds and had kept it off. I'm going to continue my program and I would suggest that you come and join us for a great challenging workout.

Simple gym with equipment for a full body workout. Nothing fancy, no frills - just to the point. Though some of the equipments do need replacements or fresh stickers.

From extremely thin to hot body in less than a year. I came in May depressed, after loosing God knows how many pounds. But he turned it in to a good thing. Hey, we don t have to loose fat before we ll build muscles. Eat, girl!! Eat. More than you can think of! Thats the key for you. In July I informed him that Im starting diving and need strong back. Not a problem. I bet my diving teacher can confirm that Im strong as a horse now. He will encourage, train and be patient with you. This is three equivalents I needed to build my body. Beware! Not clean and stuff is always broken. And when you try and cancel its a headache. They try and get you for more money. Dont join!

I have been a member for over 2 years. I don't mind so much that the facility is not professionally cleaned. I wanted a local gym with some cardio equipment and basic weights. I even referred a couple friends with the warning that the facility is not well kept. Unfortunately, over the last couple of years, things have gotten worse - many machines are broken and never fixed even though the gym collects a yearly maintenance fee. I finally decided to leave the gym and it was then that I realized they had raised my monthly rate by $5, which I had missed due to credit card auto-billing. I read the entire membership agreement - there is no section that allows them to raise your monthly rate but they did anyway. When I pointed this out and requested a refund, the management refused and said "NO REFUNDS". I requested a complete membership cancellation and politely tried to resolve the issue and recover the $79 maintenance fee that was billed without 60 days’ notice as stated in the agreement, plus $40 in unauthorized monthly fees. Management was rude, refused to explain why they had violated the member agreement, and said that if I tried to dispute charges with my card issuer they would send me to collections. I decided it was not worth the fight but wanted to let my fellow community members know about this business' poor customer service and tendency to blatantly violate agreement terms, charge "maintenance fees" and not fix anything, then threaten collections actions even though they have not honored the terms of their own agreement. Please find another gym in the area that will treat you with respect, as a reputable business should!

Terrible , I pay $93 for a month try out , after that it was going to be $39 a month in a month to month . They are now saying it was a 6 month commitment , absolutely not true . When i was offered they only had yearly membership or month to month , as they wanted my to sign for a year ,then they will wave the initation fee . This gym is extremly limited , i just though it will be ok as im attending a class next to it , but as im trying it i realized the only shower does not work and the bathroom always smell bad . Im goint to 24 hr fitness for $179 3 months , sauna , steam room , pool , basketball court and as this gym has about 40 machines , most of them do not work well , the treadmill are out of aligment it is dangerous try to actually jog in those , well 24 hours fitness has like 400 , I did make a mistake , but i wont let them rip me off , i got pictures and videos , so if they pursue trying to fine me $150 for an early cancelation , i will take them to small claims I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL unless u wanna get injured

Cheap but run down. Only one barbell that is peeling chrome; I've actually got splinters from it. Does get the job done.

Can't get membership here. Tried for weeks calling and showing up, and nobody is ever there and the phone is never checked. Seems like very shady business practice especially after reading all these complaints about overcharges. They even went as far as scraping the "Open business hours" off the window because there clearly aren't any. Very bad Yelp reviews for a reason.

Cornelius is a Great trainer. Very educated in Health and the Body and how it works. . I mean, he breaks this workout thing down to the Science! Lol.. I know many Trainers, have spoken with more Trainers and not One has communicated with me, in the way he has. He definitely knows his stuff! Nice gym. Nice staff. Absolutely recommended!

NOW DUBLIC FITNESS, NEW MANAGEMENT. Excellent gym. Has everything needed to lose weight, build muscle and get/keep fitness levels high. Why go to a larger commerical gym with more paperwork and expensive contracts? Cornelius is a knowledgeable and very friendly manager / owner. Great customer service.

HORRIBLE business. Lots of broken equipment and flat out filthy. Billing is a catastrophe and you will constantly be double billed or just flat out charged more with no notice of increasing rates, if you want to cancel your membership then goodluck that you will have to pay dearly or they will threaten to send you to collections. I was a member here since it was anytime fitness and it has changed management multiple times and it has only gotten worse each time. If your on a budget your better off running around your block and doing situps at home cause the only weight you will loose here is from your wallet and you will gain a headache.
