My daughter loves this place. She enjoys all the coaches. We go on tuesdays and Thursday's at 4:15. It is right around the corner from my office. The only issues I have are the testing schedules. With the main test being in Springdale, we opt to do the make up test in Bentonville. I wish they would wait and do the belt ceremonies after the Makeup test. That way everyone she can go. I love the life lesson speeches after class as well. :)

Almost 4 years ago my family was introduced to Inferno Fitness & Martial Arts. My oldest kid has grown in both the MMA disciplines as well as his self-confidence. My middle kid has become more aware of his behavior in public and his willingness to help others has increased. Nine months ago, my youngest started in the youngest group - Dragons. When she first started, she was disappointed that she only trained twice a week. Our kids (daughter 8, and son 5) have been going to Inferno for 3 years. They both love it. My daughter is new and was apprehensive at first but enjoys every lesson. The staff in friendly and genuinely interested in helping kids learn not just keeping them busy. The waiting area for parents is clean, comfortable and quiet enough to get some work done while your kids are in class. Most of all, I appreciate the little details - a post and from the coach welcoming my daughter was a great surprise and goes far with an 8 year old.

When I first signed up my 5yo daughter I wasn’t sure this was something we’d stay with for long. She quickly grew into loving this sport and challenged herself to do better each class. The coaches treated her like family and constantly updated me on her skill level. After nearly two years , she’d repeatedly asked to compete I caved. We spent time preparing and at 8yo she brought home double gold on first competition. What actually stood out the most to me was the relationship she built with her coaches and the support the put behind her. She wasn’t excited to show me her win, but was for her coaches. These coaches are in their corner on and off the mats, driving them to be better all around. Inferno has help teach my daughter how to be focused, driven, thoughtful, adapitable, responsible, and most of all dedicated. She’s eager to help teach other students and I can’t wait to see where her black belt training will take her.

The people at Inferno have become like a second family to us. We put my son in the MMA classes when he was 6 (he is now 8) to help give him tools to better manage his ADHD. Since then he has made great friends, my 5 year old is now in classes and my 18 month old is already itching to get onto the mats. My husband and I have started in Adult classes and now I work there. Once you go there, you just get sucked in because the people are so great.

I think that life is all about how you feel. That is probably why we spend so much money on food, clothes and other stuff that makes us feel better, even if it is just for a little while. Sadly the 'feel good mood' does not last, and we have to repeat, the classic dependency cycle. I found that physical activity, running, biking and workout in general was a great way to capture that elusive happiness. Unfortunately working out by yourself gets old pretty quick, and soon you start finding excuses not to do it anymore, and often quit altogether. Thanks to a good friend, I was introduced to Brazilian Jujitsu at Inferno Fitness and MMA. There is nothing like it! You get cardio, flexibility and strength training all at once. You are never alone! BJJ requires another body to train, and training is live! You actually wrestle and roll with someone else, competing at all times against your opponent and mostly yourself. It is hard, but incredibly rewarding. I am so happy that I started doing BJJ (and later kickboxing) at Inferno. I lost weight, gained muscle, confidence and even competed at tournaments. The coaches and staff at Inferno is excellent, just like the facility. You are never pressured, intimidated or treated like a customer - they make you feel welcome, appreciated and part of the Inferno family. Classes are intense and challenging, you get your moneys worth for sure - but always fun and educational. Sounds like I am addicted? Definitely! But addicted to feeling great! So if you are tired of being tired, and want to change your body and mind come to Inferno and sign up for life! You'll thank me later.

For those of you not familiar with martial arts, just know that if you train at Inferno 2-3 times a week you'll get in great shape and be amazed at the results. Come join the fun!

I've never felt more at home. I was moved to Arkansas from California for work about a year and a half ago. After six months of filling my face with insane amounts of food and drinks, I found myself bored and in the worst shape of my life. As an adult there are very few sports you can actively compete in, outside of coed softball leagues and curling. I was a competitive athlete from the age of five, but after high school I found myself with a void in my life. I tried running marathons (emphasis on "tried"), soccer leagues, dodgeball, you name it. I tried out a few MMA gyms back home, and as the new guy I was just used as a rag doll for the tough guys to try out their sweet new moves. I never stayed for more than a week or two. I walked into the Inferno to see about possibly using their treadmill, and after a conversation with Kaleb, I signed up for some jiu jitsu classes. I was instantly hooked. No egos, no tough guys, nothing like I imagined. I train there 6 or 7 days a week now religiously. I've never met a better group of humans. They've helped make me a better person, and I can't imagine my life without them in it.

Both my wife and myself have been very impressed with Inferno. We currently have one child in the Little Ninjas, another in the Teens group, and myself in the Adult Kickboxing. They don’t just teach the kids defensive skills and discipline, but also how to use their heads when faced with a dangerous situation. “I will use common sense before self defense” is part of their creed. The workouts are intense but not overwhelming. The coaches push you to do your best, but know when to stop. They are highly encouraging and promote a sense of community.

I practice a different combative form but joined Inferno to make use of the weight lifting facility at off peak times. It's small but clean and well equipped with everything you need and most of what you could want. The staff and patrons are cordial. It's the best environment I've found to lift in for several years.

My family have been involved in the black belt training for a month now and I am amazed. When we first came in, we wanted to find a fun and productive way to keep our daughters busy through the summer. After the first meeting, we knew this was the right place for us. My oldest daughter has ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder, and anxiety disorder and this is the first sport she has been interested in. Already she is showing improved focus, respect, coordination, and determination. My youngest daughter is hyper and has far too much strength and energy for her own good. MMA is helping her focus her energy in a productive and positive way. My husband and I are amazed at the patience and expertise shown by the instructors. Not one of them has lost their temper with a child, and they go above and beyond to ensure that each receives proper training and attention. The atmosphere is one of respect and discipline. At the same time, I never feel uncomfortable or out of place at Inferno. Every member here is a part of a large family, and we are blessed to be a part of that.

I took a chance on Inferno as a stressed out single mom with a very active 3 year old that was having trouble focusing in daycare/preschool. "He's just being a boy; he'll grow out of it" are the things that everyone often told me. Throwing things, fighting, hitting, but yet, above average on academics were the things I was up against. Doctors and professionals ruled out autism, so what's next? Finding Inferno and being able to sign him up at the age of 3 were prayers answered. He became excited about something, and something challenged him. The instructors are patient and persistent. My son will be 6 in January and though, he still has his opportunities at school, I, as well as teachers, have seen a huge change.

There's a core group of members and instructors at this gym that are some of the most positive, inspiring people that I've met. When I started I had no idea what I was doing and was very out shape. Now I'm a blue belt in BJJ, have participated in multiple grappling tournaments, and even traveled to Brazil with my teammates to train at multiple world-renown gyms! Weapons instruction is also available as well for the kiddos. Inferno has helped to teach discipline, honor, sportsmanship and perseverance to my boys. I have been training at Inferno for about a year and a half now. Before I met anyone there, I kind of expected to meet a bunch of macho, egotistical type guys, but I was very surprised by how friendly and easy going the coaches and most of the members are. Of course, initially, when I found out the price to train and I signed the contract it made me cringe some, but I can honestly say that I do not regret my decision to train there. Learning kickboxing and jiu jitsu has been one of the toughest and most rewarding experiences I've ever had. There are also tons of other classes available to take from cycling classes to yoga. The staff is great and they make classes interesting and fun. I would recommend Inferno to anyone who wants to learn martial arts, get into shape, make new friends, or just try something new and fun to do it.

Simply fantastic. My kids started training here a couple years ago and they have loved it. The wife and I have since stayed training there. She's been doing basic fitness, yoga, and kickboxing. I've been doing kickboxing, a basic fitness class called "Bootcamp", and two types of Jiu-jitsu (Gi and no-gi), and (schedule willing) will start working on Kali. All the coaches have been great. In just the short time I've been going to Inferno my endurance and physical strength have really improved, and continue to do so at an incredible pace. Let's face it though. It isn't the cheapest place to do any of the aforementioned activites on their own. But, the amazing breadth of classes offered and the (often) smaller class sizes make the price of entry worth it. So to get the most of your investment make sure to cross train Kickboxing/Yoga, Jiu-jitsu/Kali, or any other combination. But if you keep at it you WILL notice a difference you won't get at Globo Gym

This is the best MMA place in NWA. There are 4 locations, great instructors, and there aren't just Martial Arts classes! There is also a full range of fitness classes as well. There are different times to choose from during the week for all of the classes for Adults. The kids classes are Monday through Thursday and they start the kiddos out as young as 3 years old!

My son and I started taking classes at Inferno MMA a year ago after he decided he didnt want to play soccer anymore. Im so glad we made the switch!! I always had to make him practice soccer and had to bribe him to go to practice, now hes always practicing even when he should be sleeping instead and gets upset if we cant make it to his class!! He has social communication disorder, OCD, and sensory processing disorder which has made it hard in the past for him to engage with others, but at Inferno the staff is so great and interactive and caring that he hasnt had any problems at all!! They really take the time to make sure each child understands the concepts and invest themselves into each child so they will suceed not just in martial arts but in everyday life as well! Even in the adult classes they make everyone feel as though they can do it with good instruction and encouragement no matter their skill level.

I went for one free class. The instructor pretty much ignored me for the entire class and before I knew it the class was over. Short classes with D- instructors. Then to top it all off they wanted $99 per month, $90 equipment fee and $90 membership fee for a total of $300 to start classes there. Go somewhere else where there are quality instructors at a reasonable price.

Life is pretty competitive these days, especially if you are a child. Parents post their perfect children on Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, etc. I am not one of those parents, my child is far from perfect but she is mine and I think she is amazing! We have tried several activities that she has shown interest in but often find her mind wondering and not paying attention to the coach. For the first time, she pays attention!!! The coaches have made her feel like she is the best in the room by complimenting her when she has done a good job and I've noticed they regularly do the same for other children as well. She hangs up her gi every night with out being asked (I can barely get her to make her bed). She LOVES BBT And that is because of the way all of the coaches at Inferno treat her, you know, like a person! My hats off to what Inferno has built and I recommend every parent to get their children involved in what they are teaching. Positive attitudes, respect for self and others and of course an understanding that she has to work hard to be the best that she can be. Great job Inferno!!!
