This place is amazing. Big swimming pool, salt baths, Saunas, basketball and racquetball courts. Many different excersise classes. Nautalis room, free weight room. Spin classes, treadmills, ellipticals. Non-profit. Community friendly. Clean environment and provides towels.

Getting better with new management. Used to be borderline health hazard. Now they keep it pretty clean.They need to upgrade locker rooms and sauna asap. Could be a good hub for health with the right team.

I really love that they have taken over the diamond athletic club. They have done a lot to update, but still have some things to do to being it back to its glory. I am looking forward to many years of staying healthy here. The folks at the front desk have always been very helpful.

The previous owners ran this place down pretty badly. YMCA recently purchased it and has already made some improvements, replaced some flooring, and etc. YMCA is a non-profit, so they are repairing things as funds allow, but the place already looks much better than under previous owners. Thanks YMCA for what you've done to improve this place and for your mission!

I signed up with them and within a week there hours changed where they close at 3pm on Sundays and 5pm on saturdays. This didn't work with my schedule and they wouldn't refund me. I understand that they would keep the sign up fee cost but they also kept my monthly which was unfair in my opinion.

Awesome for after school/work relaxing time. Kids enjoy the crystal clear pools. Locker rooms are clean. Friendly staff

Some of the staff is very rude and have bad attitudes that made me not want to come back. Specifically, Carolynn Cliff the swim instructor. Very snappy , staring at me the entire time I was in the pool like I was doing something wrong. This woman also waited for us to get out the pool and rushed over to grab the pool noodles and lock them away when we had barely gotten out of the pool. She hated us being there. I’m not pleased with my experience and may not come back.

This review is for the lady who just answered the phone , she was very helpful and at least with me , she delivered amazing costumer service plus she’s very nice . While the other one at Lake Otis pretty much hanged the phone on me .

Been going to DAC since 1992. Started there because it's the only club in town with a decent pool besides the old Teamsters club on Tudor. But this is less expensive, always clean, not crowded, and even though it is now over 35 years old and takes constant maintenance, Migel keeps everything running. The staff changes but Mo and Angelia always greet with smiles and Jim keeps clean warm towels coming. PLUS you meet the neatest people there, young and old of many races.

I've been going to this place since I was a little girl. My dad had a law office upstairs in the mall and I'd come down and swim all the time. I didn't think anything of it then but now as an adult I really really hate going to this place. Although it's kept very clean, some off the staff members have an aweful attitude. I had a few altercations with one of the younger front desk girl there who couldn't tell me about much about the membership and didn't seem to really understand a whole lot about what they offered. She was not very professional and really made it difficult for me to come there. It ranged from not knowing any information to telling me she couldnt read my cursive signature on signing a safety wavier (even though she HAD my i.d) .. I had to sign in print so she could read it and just being very rude. My boyfriend has been going there for years, even before he met me and he is super bummed that I now refuse to go there. He started to not like the place either and couldnt understand why everytime we went there it was a hassle for anything. It's funny how one person can ruien a company image - especially when they are first point in contact ALL the time. I ended up taking my buisness to AK Fitness. Signed up for 2 people and paid the same amount I pay for ONE person at this place. AK Fitness have REASONABLE prices and they are open 24 hours, not just until 8:30-9. Their staff is knowledgeable of ALL things and actually many of them are past clients of DAC, they just ended up leaaving too. Lots of improvement needed in customer service. I don't remember this place being so terrible.

Could use more upkeep on equipment and need better selection. No kid care as promised for summer 2019...still waiting. Planet fitness is better deal for $10-$20/month if dont care for a pool

Good options for the price. A visitor pass for my 2 kids was only $20, which includes access to the pool.
