This gym has a lot of equipment and an indoor track. There are many activities in this gym. You can swim, rock climb, and even sit in the sauna to detox/ relax your body.

Awesome gym with everything I personally could ask for. Pool, basketball courts, raquetball courts, indoor track, tons of weights and machines, yoga room, sauna, etc etc. New 24hr program was just implemented. Be sure to ask the front desk on how to sign up.

The equipment is up to date. The outdoor and indoor tracks are excellent. Sometimes smells like old sweat clothes but is not the gym's fault.

Best gym in Alaska. The facilities are uncontested by private brands outside the base. Everything for exercise you would ever want is offered here. More classes would be nice such as aquatic aerobatics or more spin classes would be an improvement.

Overall decent quality gym. I'd advise anyone with a membership (CAC) to get the new twenty four- hour access card because the staffed hours are limited. You can get a brochure on the display when you first walk in and it will guide you through the required steps to accomplish that. Aside from that it's a solid, clean gym with a diverse amo uh not of equipment at your disposal. Get the gains!

Plenty to do here. during busy hours you'll still find a machine to use, they have a nice variety of machines. They offer many classes to sign up for-workout, dance, spin, swimming, etc. Saunas are nice...when they're working. Over all very nice place to blow off some steam, also switched to 24 hours which is super helpful

One of the largest fitness facilities in the air force that I've seen. It still gets crowded in the morning until around 9 because of all the units doing PT but I still manage to get my lifting and cardiovascular in. As good as it is, the richardson gym is even better

Plenty of machines to choose from but the squat and deadlift racks are limited. If you like to lift heavy I would recommend the army side gym but this gym still has plenty to offer.

Seems like the pool is always closed during normal business hours, try closing the pool after hours for maintenance. Additionally, the gym is not 24hrs which limits other shifts gym options severely.

Every time I come here I feel completely fine. By that I mean that I don't feel any judgement with being overweight or feel anyone staring at me. There is excellent equipment, excellent people, and a general politeness with all patrons that is refreshing. My husband says he's been to many gyms and that this is by far the nicest one he's ever worked out in. The pool is also great!

Solid gym after the upgraded. All the machines were moved, and the main floor now includes like 12 2-person power racks. As a powerlifter, I couldn't be more pleased.

Clean facility with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and get their workout on. I am retired Army and enjoy going to the gym right after the active duty Soldiers are preparing to leave to work in the morning it's a little quieter and in the evening after 9 pm is another good time slot to avoid high traffic. Even if I do go during high time it's so roomy there that it isn't a bother and still a great atmosphere people are respectful of one another and the staff is friendly and helpful.
