Squad is a great place to work out. I just finished the 6-week challenge and dropped 23lbs! Attending this gym is the best decision I have made in a long time. I am very pleased with my results. I can run longer distances and my upper body strength has improved. They close at 7:30am but they offer about 7+ classes a day and 3 on Saturday so it is a flexible fitness center. Brock is a terrific trainer. He really encouraged me throughout the challenge. All of the trainers are very responsive and friendly. They want YOUR to push it to your limit! You will not regret attending their classes.

For a couple of years I kept telling myself I was going to join a gym and get my weight down. Last year I joined a gym paid every month but never attended. This year I herd from a co worker about the The Camp Challenge and I accepted the Challenge. The first week I rediscovered muscles I forgot about while I was inactive however I lost 9 lbs. As the weeks continued I began to see my body transforming and workouts where becoming a critical part of day. However the workouts were so challenging that just when I thought my body was accustom to my new way of life I'd be sore all over again. Eating clean by making healthy food choices was the biggest adjustment but one thing I know is true.. YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT! This experience was a new start to a more healthy, active and fit life style. I'm so excited about my transformation ! I encourage everyone that want results to join the Challenge at Squad Fitness you won't be disappointed!

Wow... where do I start? I joined the Camp Challenge in Gardendale on 6/6/16 with the intent of dropping 20 lbs. I've been traveling for work for 4 years, living out of hotels and eating unhealthy for too long. I decided it was now or never to begin my weightloss and healthy lifestyle journey. The first workout was intense and I could barely keep up but as I looked around the gym, I realized everyone was on a different level of fitness and some looked just like me. I kept pushing, working hard, and at one point almost gave up. Thank God for the fantastic trainers and my new workout buddies. After 6 Weeks I'm 12 LBS lighter and inches slimmer. I'm happier, healthier, and more energized. Join the squad. You won't regret it!

I'm just wrapping up my 6 week challenge. The trainers are excellent and have gone above and beyond to keep the motivation going. When I started, if I ran 15 feet I would have been flat on my face gasping for air. The trainers helped to start me at a fitness level that I could do, with modifications to the more difficult exercises. Now I have more energy and endurance and feel better than I have in years...and actually have fun working out.

Fast forward 6weeks later I lost 20lbs and I could not have asked for a better way to do it. I started going to Squad Fitness because of the Birmingham Camp Challenge 20lbs in 6 weeks. I lost my first 20lbs in the first 4 weeks. I've never had a better work out. I've never been pushed to accomplish goals the way they push you. You train hard to get great results. The people who go are awesome and are great motivators as well. After the challenge is over I'll get a membership and I hope to lose another 80lbs. Before Squad Fitness, a goal of 100lbs sounds so out of reach. Now it seems very possible with the guidance of all the trainers and coaches. I thank every single person who made this place possible and every person who keeps in going. 5 STARS!

If you’re looking for a weight loss challenge, or specifically a fun, yet goal-driven workout... I would HIGHLY recommend Squad Fitness. This has been such a fun 6 weeks that it has absolutely flown by! Although I didn’t hit my 20 pound weight-loss goal, I still lost pounds and inches and my real goal was accomplished! I’ve been back in the gym 4-5 days a week, started a healthier lifestyle change that I’ve been encouraged to continue, have more energy, stamina, and an overall better attitude about myself! I’ve met so many encouraging people, I’ve gained a new Squad family. This gym and these trainers are exactly what I need!

This gym and program is awesome! Don't hesitate just do it. The trainers are great and push you to do your best and they make sure you are doing everything the correct way. I love this gym. They will teach you proper nutrition and exercises. I feel better and stronger having done this challenge and I now have the willpower to keep the weight off. You can do this and change your life for you and your loved ones. The exercises are challenging and will push you out of your comfort zone but stay with it and keep pushing your self.

As a busy woman with work/kids/husband/life, I had really not taken the time to focus on my own health. This program has been the perfect challenge and motivation for me. The AM/PM workouts are flexible for busy schedules. However, I've found getting up and knocking them out first thing in the morning really starts my day off right and leaves me feeling accomplished & energized. Plus, there are very few distractions (other than the snooze button on your alarm) that will keep you from being able to work out before 7 am. I am NOT a morning person. Instead, I've always been a multiple snoozer. Now, I am excited to get up and get going because I feel stronger every day! The workouts are challenging but the coaches do an amazing job breaking them up into small segments so you can push yourself and achieve your goal. Muscles you didn't even know you had will be sore! The good news is that they push/challenge you so much more than you would on your own. The coaches and the challengers around you offer great accountability. This accountability and support wasn't something I anticipated but has been an extra bonus! The other challengers are another pleasant surprise. They aren't muscle bound fanatics. They are real people, working to improve their own health. The team and coaches make it a wonderful, non-intimidating atmosphere. The food plan gives you simple guidelines to follow. At first I thought it was going to be 6 weeks of awful, boring chicken. After talking with some fellow challengers, we started sharing some great recipe ideas. Our family meals ended up being healthier and tasty-and all within the rules! Take the challenge to improve your health! Thank you Rock Brown, Ben Angle and Cali Littlejohn for all of your encouragement and pushing us to our healthier selves!

The challenge was amazing! The trainers listen to your fitness needs and push you accordingly. I loved the comradery built in this group setting and I can't image working out in a normal circuit gym again. The results were great - I am stronger, have more energy, and am overall happier! It was hard but if you get through it it really pays off. I've gone down a few dress sizes and I'm a lot more energetic. It was fun some days and the trainers will reply to any snark you have with some of their own. The trainers are also extremely nice and they help anytime someone needs them. If you can't do a certain exercise or need some help they will let you do a modified version of it. Overall it was a fun experience and I did it with my mom and it's lightened her mood up to where she's more wanting to do things .

I participated in the Drop 20 challenge at the Homewood location. I want to thank Brock and Brandon for helping to push me to my limits during my 6 week challenge. I gained muscle and strength and lost fat and pounds. Although I didn't lose the 20 pounds, I was very pleased with the results. I will continue with Squad to help maintain my loss and muscle tone. I made a lot of great friends that were so good at helping push me through the difficult days. Hopefully, I will continue to work out with these new friends in the coming weeks and months. I encourage you to try the challenge - it's not easy - but it's worth the hard work and certainly helps with the accountability associated with diet and weight loss!

What can I say, this has truly been a LIFE changer for me! Squad Fitness is TRULY what it has represented a SQUAD. Going into this challenge has made me realize that I could not give up another thing in life. I have completed a stepping stone in my LIFE, and guess what ? I lost weight in the process. There were many days that I didn't want to get out of the bed for the 5:15 workout, but you what, I did! If I reach my goal of losing the 20lbs, I want to paved the way for another person to do the same. I have been thinking about blessing someone else to pay their way into the challenge, you know like PAYING IT FORWARD! What do you think? I will pray about it! The workouts were excellent, hard and trying. I DID NOT GIVE UP!!!!!! I thank all of my new friends that I completed this challenge with, without you all I would have not made it!!! THANK YOU! As I sit and look back on this challenge, all of the SWEATY CLOTHES, protein shakes, and motivation. IT WAS ALL WORTH IT! For years I had been trying to find the motivation to get back into shape, but it was just too hard! I used to be a group fitness instructor and personal trainer myself, but after three children and years out of the gym, I just didn't have the energy to get back. I could see my overall health declining. Little things like my balance had declined so significantly that I was starting to feel much older than I am. The Drop 20 Challenge was exactly the motivation and accountability I needed. After just 6 weeks, I can see huge changes in my appearance, strength, endurance, balance and state of mind. The trainers are fabulous, and the workouts are never boring. I would recommend the program to anyone who is having trouble finding the motivation to get into a gym!

The drop 20 challenge was just what I needed. I got comfortable with myself at the end of 2017 and the beginning of this year. I turned 27 this year so one of my goals were to lose 27 pounds for the year. With the Drop 20 challenge, I lost 17 pounds total. The challenge is totally worth the results in the end. The workouts and meal plan challenge to you achieve you goals plus more. The accountability and the workout partners you gain will keep you motivated to keep going. Squad fitness is amazing! You don't just walk in, walk on a treadmill for an hour and then leave. All they have are structured classes led by talented and knowledgeable trainers. You start sweating and burning calories from the moment the classes start. The exercises are tough but they help you work up to your potential. The trainers are there to supervise and make sure you don't injure yourself. I lost about 10 pounds in 6 weeks, which is a lot for my short stature. I highly recommend squad fitness Birmingham!

When I first saw the Camp Challenge ad on FB, I was skeptical of any offer to help "lose 20 lbs in 6 wks" for FREE. I went to the orientation and met Romen and realized there would be coaching, and peer support all along the way. Although I initially thought the exercises were beyond my level of coordination and endurance, Mark and Brock were always there to provide alternatives that enabled me to succeed. The community of Squad Fitness members and other challengers, as well as the incentive to stay focused on the goal was there and it worked for me. In forty days, my 250 lb. Dad bod weighed-in at 222! Thanks SF for helping me hit my goal. Next goal, 200 lbs...stay tuned.

SQUAD Fitness is spectacular. The coaches, Brock, Daniel, Jameison and Romen, are awesome. I entered the challenge skeptical about the 20 lbs in six weeks. Not because I did not think I could do it, but I loose inches more than pounds. The workouts were challenging, the coaches were encouraging, motivating and they all have a great sense of humor. Even though the workouts were rigorous there were modified to accommodate the different level of the challengers. This is not your traditional gym; it is more of a family oriented environment with encouragement coming from every direction not just the trainers. Through this challenge I have met people with similar goals, positive attitudes, the willingness to encourage and offer suggestions to assist in everyone being successful. This was what I had been looking for to assist me on my journey to become physically fit.

When I first heard about the challenge, I was a bit intimidated by looking at the videos and pictures of what takes place during the challenge, so I chose to ignore the multiple text messages and emails. One Saturday morning I was killing time with the bestie and we decided to go to a meeting at the Trussville location. Listening to the trainers go over the expectations and watching the live demonstrations made me optimistic, so I decided to give it a try. This was the absolute best decision I could have ever made. My best friend and I decided to attend the Homewood location, since it is less than 5 miles from our job. The trainers there were all very pleasant, but Daniel stuck out the most when it came to doing workouts. His positive aura and friendly spirit made me feel as if he was truly cared about my health and cared about me reaching not only my weight loss goal, but my goal to live a healthier life. The squad fitness experience is one that I will never forget. The workouts were intense, but by week 2, I was looking forward to them. The lessons that I learned during this six week challenge (clean, healthy eating and the workouts) will be carried on as I continue my journey to becoming a healthier me. I came in with one friend and left out with many. At squad fitness, there was no judgement, because we were all there for the same reason; to lose weight and get healthy. If I could afford it, I would still be there, but it just isn’t financially feasible for me right now. However, the experiences that I learned and the relationships that I built are priceless. I am still in contact with my squad workout buddies and we are continuing to motivate either other to be the best that we can be. We meet up several times a week and workout together. The 22.4 pounds that I lost during my six weeks was only the beginning for me. I know longer have the desire to eat the way that I use to. I don’t have the cravings or anything. I have squad fitness to thank for this. Thank you Daniel Hudson, Brock, Romen, and Mark for all of your hard work and dedication. Thank you all for pushing me when I wanted to give up. This is a great challenge and you will definitely lose the weight within the six weeks if you follow the instructions. I lost 25.2 lbs in the 6 weeks. The trainers are great and will motivate you throughout the challenge. You will also be provided with all of the necessary tools to succeed in the challenge such as: meal plan, work outs and weekly weigh ins. This challenge definitely helped me get in better shape with the interval and strength cardio classes they provided. So if you are thinking about doing the challenge go to the orientation and get started you will not regret it!!!!

I just finished the challenge yesterday and lost a total of 21.2 pounds and 6" off of my waist. It's a great way to get motivated and jump start your way to fitness and a new healthy lifestyle. The workouts are hard and the diet is super strict but if you follow the instructions you will reach your goal. Stay focused and motivated and anything is possible. The trainers are always willing to answer questions and show you the proper technique. I recommend Squad Fitness to anyone that is serious and wants to make a change to not just their body but their entire lifestyle.

I loved my experience with Squad Fitness. The trainers push you towards your goals. They continually motivate you as well. They treat you like family and make you feel welcome. The workouts are hard but definitely bring results. They have the knowledge to help you achieve the goals and will help by finding out what you're working on and what you can do to get closer to that. They are not like other gyms they actually know who you are and take the time interact with you. This gym is awesome. I can honestly say my life has changed for the better and I owe it to Squad Fitness! When I came through those doors I felt like the biggest person in the room. They asked 1 question tell us why we should pick you? Here's my response .... I lost both my father's back to back and 1 really bad relationship I turned to food for comfort while I was eating I was loosing me in the process. Till I woke up 1 morning my feet had swollen up my knees were hurting and I was short of breath! I felt bad on the inside my body was hurting, it was a constant struggle with my day to day life! And I was lost until I saw an ad on Facebook about the Camp Challenge. Now who ever reads this please know I spoke with God 1st and ask for help and the will to stand on my faith that I can get through this and keep going afterwards! It was December when I went to the 1st meeting that change my life! I've met beautiful people that are life long friends now! We pushed each other when 1 was down the other lifted us up! They didn't give up, so we didn't give up! Yes Brock, Roman and Daniel will push you, there will be days when you Wanna throw something at them, but then you remember ...You put you here and now it's time to get what God has for you! And that's a healthier You! It's not weight loss! It's weight RELEASE when you loose something you'll find away to get it back! It's not a diet, it's healthier eating so you can live longer ! It's a lifestyle change only for the good! You make 1 step God, the Trainers ,your Teammates, your coworkers, your family and true friends will push you to the end! Would I it do it again? After getting engaged recently my past week has been a whirlwind, so I’m a little late in posting about these photos. As part of my challenge I am obligated to post and review my experience with Squad Fitness Six Week Weight Loss Challenge. I am one who has never liked gyms and preferred to do my workouts outside. Because of this, I made excuses as to why I couldn't workout and I let myself go. I am not 21 anymore, I can’t eat the way I used to and being five foot even, I will always have a weight problem if I do not take control of my life. So, when I saw the opportunity to join the Drop 20 Challenge through Squad Fitness, I knew I had to take advantage of it. The Drop 20 Challenge was a huge lifestyle change for me, but it was a change for the best. The 22 page “FTDI Bible” terrified me on Day 1. This book listed out everything I could eat. If it’s not listed too bad, you can’t eat. Every Sunday I would wake up, plan each meal for the week, go to the grocery store and meal prep ALL DAY LONG for the whole week. Eating correctly was the first step to getting my life back to where it was. After my first workout, I thought I was going to die. I didn’t realize how bad in shape I was and how much weight I had gained in just two and a half years. The coaches were all encouraging, and they pushed you to not give up. I was so proud of myself on week four when I could move up in my weights as I had gained so much more strength. I still hate burpees but have started enjoying running again, and if you know me I used to be an avid runner. Even though I didn’t lose the 20 pounds, just shy of it, seeing what I could do in six weeks with a group of people that are supportive and want you to be happy, it was all worth it. From what I’ve learned the past six weeks I am applying to my life still. I am now officially part of the Squad Fitness family and couldn’t be happier working out in a gym. I recommend to anyone who is needing to get their life back to a healthier way, to challenge yourself. Do the Drop 20 Challenge.

Everyone is super friendly and dedicated to you being the best you can be! I would recommend this program to anyone who is ready to put in work. It is not easy but you have tons of support from the trainers, the members, and newcomers. You meet cool people and grow closer to your health goals. I did the Drop 20 challenge, and although I did not lose 20 ( I blame it on college/finals) I did lose almost 12 pounds! It was not easy but I finished my six weeks! If you are reading this and are skeptical .Take a chance!

Coming from a girl who wasn’t working out on the daily, 6 weeks of dedication to a meal plan and workouts at least 4X a week seemed like no easy task, although I had hyped myself up a couple of days before the challenge started so I was ready to go on day 1. The first week was challenging and the soreness was a 15 on a scale of 1-10 and I really questioned if I was cut out for this but as each week went by, I got better and started noticing some positive changes which only pushed me to dig deeper and give 150%. I can’t thank the trainers enough for being so encouraging and pushing me to get better each week. Although I didn’t lose the 20 pounds I set out to lose, I lost 2 dress sizes and several inches all around and gained more confidence and motivation to keep pushing to see more results. I’m not where I want to be, but I’m definitely not where I was 6 weeks ago.

When I first walked into Squad Fitness I wasn't sure. It is definitely not like your average gym. Don't be deceived! I'm glad to say I just finished my six week challenge! I'm down 22 pounds and I feel great! I'm wearing clothes I haven't been able to wear in 2 years. There were times when I thought i wasn't going to make it but The trainers are amazing and they encourage you to push yourself to achieve your goal. They are very knowledgeable about total body fitness and are always happy to answer questions and help any time you need them. I would definitely recommend Squad Fitness to anyone looking to loose weight, get in shape or just tone up. You won't regret joining! It's the best thing I've ever done for myself.

This was one of the best things I have done in a long time. I would go to the gym and I didn't push myself the way I needed to. I started going and I must admit the first couple of weeks were hard, but I got through it! I started seeing results and that pushed me to go harder. I lost 6.8 pounds the first week and lost 23 pounds in the 6 weeks! The coaches push you and motivate you as well as the members and the other challengers! I feel so much better! I am able to do so much more physically and I am still keeping up with eating habits! It's a great program and I recommend it to everybody!

I just finished my first challenge and for the first time in my life I've lost weight (20 lbs in 6 week) in a healthy way. I feel great! I've relearned how much I enjoy exercise and how easy it is to eat real clean (unprocessed) food. It's amazing how my constant cravings for fast food disappeared in just a few weeks. For me it's not just about the number on the scale but the energy I have, how I'm more productive at work and home, and how much I've improved in what I can do physically. Squad fitness has also been a great way for me to meet people and find a great social support system on my long term lifestyle change of fitness. Because I successfully completed the challenge, the decision for me to either refund my challenge deposit or continue on with a membership at Squad was a no brainier!

This challenge was absolutely amazing! If you're really looking for a fitness community and not your standard gym, this is it. The trainers here really push and motivate you to get you where you want to be. I may not have lost 20 pounds but I can definitely see some results. This is a great workout!!! I was in an exercise rut until I found FBBC, and now I look forward to working out. Every class is different, and the trainers are awesome - they know each participant and push us to do our very best. Firm Body is great for people at any fitness level. No matter where you start, you will see great improvement.

Absolute MUST if you have any fitness or weight loss goals! I just finished the 6 week challenge at the Homewood location and it was a fantastic experience! First, the trainers are great at pushing you and ensuring that you keep going. Mark was very motivating & helped me modify where needed. Secondly, the group that I worked out with every day definitely kept me going. It was nice that we were separated from the members for our workout because it was less intimidating as we were learning and trying to keep up! It also allowed us to bond as a group. I lost 22.8 lbs during the challenge and I would definitely recommend it to anyone starting out or continuing on a fitness journey. The challenge ended on Monday and I have tried the Trussville location all week as one of my friends goes to that local. They are awesome there as well! I feel like they really have your best interest at heart and know how to help you reach your goals! Give it a go!

2016 has been an eventful year to say the least! One of the brightest spots in my year has been participating in the 6 Week 20lb Challenge with Squad Fitness in Homewood. All of the trainers were fantastic! Brock Edmondson always had a huge grin on his face and lots of encouraging words when we needed them. Daniel Hudson was tough but a great motivator as well. I only had Brandon a couple of times but he has a great attitude and a ton of energy. Mark has WAAAAAY too much energy but not quite as much as Coach G who is in a class all his own. That's because everyone is afraid of him.....he always made me want to hug him because of his infectious attitude but also run him over with my car because of his relentless pushing!!!!! Thanks to all these wonderful men (and Justin Thrasher who was only there for my first couple of weeks) I was able to lose 20 pounds on the nose in 6 weeks. It was a lot of sweat and hard work - I would say I enjoyed every minute but that third day when I couldn't walk was BRUTAL! I didn't gain all this weight overnight so I know I won't lose it overnight. The eating habits I developed from this camp, the exercises I've learned, and the motivation to just get up off my butt and exercise are priceless! Another great thing about this has been the people I've met during the challenge. When I first started I wasn't sure about the challenge. I meet a lot of nice people that workout their as well. It was a struggle the first two weeks but after that I got the hang of it. We partner up a lot and it was very motivational for me as well. I had to change my meal plan because I wasn't losing anything I was gaining but I know everybody body is different. The parking is not great at all. But if you is looking for a program that will help you on your weightloss journey this would be it. I completed the challenge with 21.8 pounds lost in 6 weeks so if i could do it you can too. Remember water is the key and putting some good in your system after workout. You have to push yourself and be determined that you want a change in your life. If I had to do it all over again I would. But I will continue my healthy eating and workout at home until Im released from my doctor to do other wise. It's a very clean environment.

Sophomore year of college I started noticing how much weight I had gained sense high school. In High school I was very active and fit for the most part. Being overweight was something I was not used to so when I heard about the challenge I knew I had to sign up. Now 6 weeks later I can say that I lost 22 pounds! I just finished my 6 weeks Drop 20 Challenge! I lost 20.8lbs! Unbelievable! I was very sceptic before I signed up but it did happen. Thanks to the coaches who pushed me when I needed it and kept me accountable, this was possible. The first couple of weeks were not easy. I had to change my diet and I realized how addicted I was to sugar. But I had a clear goal in my mind and decided that I will make it work. Now, 6 weeks later I still have some cravings but I learned how to read the nutritional information on all foods and make better choices. I recently completed the Drop 20 Challenge. I was at my heaviest when I entered the challenge. There are various reasons for the weight gain, but the inability to lose the weight was solely on me. So with a new determination, I took the challenge. The results: I lost 24.8 lbs and 13". It was hard work. It required exercising almost daily and changing my eating habits. What else will you gain/find? (1) workout buddies who are taking the same challenge as you. You will encourage, support and hold each other accountable. (2) Coaches who push, encourage and support you (3) members who offer encouragement and cheer you on. I would highly recommend this program to anyone who has weight to lose. It is a great way to jump start your weight loss goals. I have disc problems in my neck and lower back. When there was an exercise I didn't feel I could do, the coaches would modify it to something I could do so that I could still achieve my goals. It is hard work, but well worth it. You will get out what you put into it. They offer several locations to better serve you. What are you waiting for? Get off the couch and take action!!!

On 11/7/16 I challenged myself to embark on this weight loss challenge. Before I started I questioned, contemplated, doubted not only myself but also the program I signed up for. First let me just say that this deserves way more than 5 stars. When I started this Challenge, I never thought that I would make it to the 20 pound goal. After six weeks of pushing myself to my limit and beyond, I amazed myself and exceeded the goal and lost 21.6 pounds. I could not have done this without my amazing trainers, Daniel, Brock, Romen and Mark. These men pushed me outside of what I thought I could do and I got amazing results from it. Not only did I exceed my goal of 20 pounds, I now have a new family. 6 weeks. 42 days. At the beginning, I thought there was no way I could keep up a healthy diet plus a 4-5 times a week workout routine. I took a chance on trying Firm Body Boot camp by purchasing a GROUPON experience. In the beginning, I thought this is not for me. But after I continued to come for the remainder of my GROUPON time, I found that FBBC was just what I needed to get motivated to get move and get in shape. Let me first start out by saying that this was by far the HARDEST thing I have ever done in my life. I was extremely skeptical at first because I wasn't sure that I could do it but I'm so glad I stuck with it. It was really hard working out 4x a week but that actually became my favorite part about the program because it made me hold myself accountable. The atmosphere is amazing and so are the trainers. It's definitely a family environment and I actually met some great people here. The work outs are tough but it was very encouraging to have someone always there motivating me to finish the set. I completed the challenge with a total loss of 27lbs in 6 weeks. This was an awesome challenge and I highly recommend it. I now feel prepared to continue my lifestyle change.

A little scared thinking I would fail, that the work outs may be hard. But I thought to myself I have nothing to lose but weight and gain more confidence! If you have kids you need it! But now I feel better I've learned to eat better and think about what I'm putting in my body. The work outside aren't great. You will sweat and sometimes the exercises will burn but that's a good thing that means it's working. The trainers are great they will push you. The six week fitness challenge and weight loss program was one of the best choices in my life. From the jump they gave me a diet plan and everything I needed to succeed in the challenge. I thought it was only 20 pounds but for men it was 25. I accepted the challenge. Here are my pros and cons. The pros & cons They give you a one size fits all diet that you must follow strictly to be successful. Even if you follow the diet you may not lose weight some weeks. DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED. Talk to them and let them know your concerns. They will help you beak the cycle. Throughout the program I would balance out and not lose weight for a solid week! If you mix in the carb cycling every week it'll get you down a few more pounds but the diets to be more personalized. Work outs: the work outs were HARD. They make you work for your results and sometimes I couldn't complete them. A majority of the time I did and you could tell you were going to feel it the next morning. Sometimes the work outs were a little short and I think they needed to be about 10 minutes longer. They make you come 4 times a week, that isn't enough to lose the weight. You have to come twice a day sometimes just to make sure you get the weight loss. I bike at work for 9-11 hours sometimes, that definitely helped. If you push yourself you can get through them and fill like you've conquered the world when you're done. Trainers: Brock, Daniel and Mark were great trainers. They were always there to show you the different moves and get you through the class. They were never discouraging or mean, always there to make sure you're doing the work out correctly. Music and Environment; they have a huge area and lots of equipment to work out with. They always find cool ideas to push and pull stuff around to get your heart rate up. They do not have any AC but I really think it helps you shrink down and build stamina. The music varies but it's all up tempo and stuff that will drive you to your next work out. Overall: Life-changing, empowering and a lifestyle change. No gym I've ever been to has made me feel like I have at Squad Fitness. They give you the tools to succeed and get you to 25% but only your dedication will make you successful. Push yourself, don't cheat yourself and look forward to the best change you can will get for your body.

The workout sessions here are great. The personal trainers at Squad push you outside your comfort zone to get the maximum results. Talk about a challenge! You can always count on the coaches to push you, and the workouts are always changing. They are always helpful in making modifications if you have problems with tightness or injury. I wanted to make a change, and I did it with the challenge. The factor that helped me the most with my success, were the check ins with the coaches. They would text me and check my progress. It made me feel like they cared about my results as much as I did. If you want to get into shape then Squad Fitness is the place for you! I wasn't sure at first exactly what I was getting myself into by signing up for this program. I came to find out that it is really quite simple: eating right along with hard work equals results. Brock, Daniel, and Mark are awesome trainers and will get you to where you want to be if you are willing to work for it. At the completion of this 6 week challenge I can honestly say I'm in better shape than I have been in a long time. I highly recommend that you give them a try if you need help getting right!

The Squad program was great to get someone motivated and started with the idea that losing weight takes work, time and eating right. Their program does a great job of keeping you from getting bored with the same workouts time and again and give you something to look forward to. Jameson and Rock are great motivators and really are there to answer all of your questions and help you take your progress to the next stage. You have to remember that with as much work as you put in with the workouts you have to give just as much at home to eat correctly and not give in to the foods that slow your weight loss. Time flies when you are having fun. 6 week ago, my sister in law proposed we take a challenge together. She gave me a phone number, I called, made an appointment, filled some forms and off we went. For the past 6 weeks, I have worked out 4 times per week, and tried my best to follow their diet plan. The "Drop 20 Challenge" has been the perfect start to a healthier me. I have never been motivated to work out, and when I diet, I lose a few pounds and they come back rather quickly. At Squat Fitness they make it easy. I feel motivated, energetic and look forward to coming to the gym. The energy, the trainers, and every one there are all incredible! For the 1st time, I enjoy exercising. Every day is different, and I can pick the best time to come for me. I am not fun of the same thing, at the same time, so their program matches me perfectly!. I successfully completed the 6 week challenge and have been very pleased with my experience. I lost 30.2 lbs and feel better. The best part is that my wife and I did the challenge together and had fun doing in doing so. It brought us closer together as we cheered each other on. Together we lost a combined 50 lbs in 6 weeks! The diet change was the hardest part for me but I never had a bad meal and was rarely hungry. The workouts were challenging and fun. I completed my 6 week challenge last week and lost 24lbs and feel great! I needed a jump start to get me back into a fitness routine so that I can be healthier for myself, my kids, and my patients. This team was amazing the entire time. They pushed you through to do your best and encouraged you. They always had great attitudes every time you saw them. This was tough but so worth it. It's much easier to workout with a group of people on the same level as you than some people that have been working out for years. There are not enough great things to say about Squad Fitness. From the workout environment, to the coaches, and even the others working out in your group, everything all together is an awesome experience. Being someone who has struggled with the "cross fit" concept in the past, and really had several negative experiences, I have found Squad to be none of the bad, and all of the good! I want to start this off by saying LIFE CHANGING!!My journey started as I scrolled down my Facebook page and saw a post, “Drop 20 Challenge - Lose 20 lbs in 6 weeks.” I shared the post with my mom, and began to look at the before and after pic’s and reviews. I was sold! I signed my mom and me up, and we went to orientation. Romen said- “This is going to be hard.” I have always been considered overweight, but I thought to myself I’m not a quitter. I can change my life and my families. My first week was a struggle- there were tears and prayers; thank you to all squad trainers for encouraging me throughout this past six weeks. I had to change my way of life, hold myself accountable, and do things that I thought I could never do. Each week I got better and closer to my goal. It doesn’t matter if you’ve worked out every day, or not at all, the challenge is designed where everyone can succeed. My best advice to anyone thinking about trying it out is, don’t think, just do it and don’t stress. WEIGHT LOSS IS NOT A LINEAR PROCESS! Just stay the course and you will be fine. By the way, at my final weigh in I was down 25.4 pounds! I did it. Thank you SQUAD FITNESS!!! Forever life changing!

I would recommend this program to anyone I know it's that great! It doesn't matter what fitness level you're on they have modified techniques that your body will still benefit from. The trainers are very professional and continually give you motivation during the workouts. The workouts change daily and are very challenging but, with the motivation and support you will push right through them just like we all have! It does become addictive when you start seeing and feeling progress! Along with the unique workouts they provide you with a healthy nutritional food guide to help jump start your metabolism. Throughout this program of ONLY six weeks my stamina has increased, I feel stronger, and I lost weight when nothing else would work for me! It's hard but, well worth it in the end! I've never been part of a program where I've had to have so much discipline!!! The trainers at Squad are awesome. Thanks for pushing me when I wanted to give up! I didn't want to finish this week because I thought I would lose but I got spiteful instead and finished strong! I lost 23.2 lbs! Im excited! The meal plan and learning to meal prep wasn't as hard as I had thought it would be. I like having options to pick the meals that work best for you! The trainers want you to succeed and are so helpful to keep changing your plan to make it work to better your results! The workouts are tough but I loved how everyday was something different. It never gets boring or routine. It was awesome meeting new people and making friends all focused on working hard. Recently I just completed the six week challenge. The workouts are insane. I am not a runner but going to Squad Fitness and having to run almost all the time, running is not so bad once you start doing it. The coaches were awesome. They were supportive and always motivating you not to give up. It wasn't about who finished first but how you finished. I met some great people at the challenge as well. We motivated each other. I decided to sign in to the Drop 20 Challenge after I saw the amazing results my friend Cristina Gonzalez got when she completed hers. I needed something quick and that gave me motivation to lose the weight I have gained in the last year due to lack of exercise and poor eating habits. I was in shape all my life until I graduated high school. After I graduated high school, I kept working out for a while but slowly stopped. After three years of not working out and eating whatever I wanted, I am so glad I found out about The Challenge. I went from eating out most of my meals to eating healthy and working out four times a week. I would suggest The Challenge to anyone because I lost 22.4 pounds in 6 weeks. If you follow the instructions they give you then you should be able to lose 20 pounds or more. I also loved the group workout environment at the Challenge and the trainers are extremely helpful. This 6 week challenge has been one of the most revealing 6 weeks I've ever experienced. I unfortunately didn't meet my goal of losing 20 lbs in 6 weeks, but it definitely showed me that I do have the willpower to lose it. When I first saw the advertisement of the challenge I was very excited because as I read it-it was everything I needed. I was especially excited to have someone help me with meal planning and I was under the impression that someone would be monitoring my progress, well for me the nutrition portion of the program in my opinion wasn't what I thought it would be. I made it known to them from the beginning my health issues and I was told by the end of the challenge I probably could come off some of my medication...didn't happen. I actually had a doctor's appointment during the challenge and my blood sugar was very high and my doctor increased my medication. My weight was yo-yoing and I thought by weighing in each week my weight was being monitored. It wasn't until almost week four I was told to cut the carbs and I didn't start really loosing until it was too late. I lost 11lbs. I wasn't too happy with that. Daniel, Mark and Brock were great trainers and true to their calling as trainers. I must say during the challenge I learned a lot about myself and the tools I need to continue this journey of weight loss and eating healthier. Since I left the challenge I'm very careful about my food choices and what I put in my mouth. I feel better. So for those of you who are beginning this next challenge I say to you FTDI but know that there isn't any professional nutritionist on site. Stay on top of it and don't think about getting your money back, think about getting your health back. Squard fitness is a great place and it's not like other gyms but there are a few amenities needed that would make this place over the top. Would I do this challenge again? Yes if the program lived up to all that was advertised.

My experience at Squad Fitness (SF) was intense and life-changing. Since I have always wanted to participate in a boot camp experience, my interest was peaked when I saw the SF Challenge on FB. When I attended the informational meeting, I was hooked, and I thought it would be a good way to kick-start the New Year. The first week of the Camp I was so sore that I thought I wouldn’t be able to continue, but here I am still “transforming” my last week. I even completed two workouts in one day on two occasions. I was successful with the Squad Fitness 6 Week Challenge. I honestly don't think I could have lost this amount of weight in 6 weeks if I was going to a normal gym. I really like the pressure to succeed, the trainers are there to help you through and push you during your work out. The nutrition plan that they give you is tough and if you don't follow it you're not going to lose the weight. The trainers are great for offering a wide range of work outs to keep your body shredding the weight. They always play fun and energetic music to help drive you to the next work out. I liked the program so much, lost the weight and now I'm a Ultimate Member so I can keep losing the weight and keep it off for good! You should definitely invest in yourself and your health.

I completed the Drop 20 challenge at the Squad Fitness Homewood location. I've languished at around 245/250 lbs for years and finally decided to give a place like Squad Fitness a try. Here's the kicker. There is no other place like Squad Fitness! The coaches are attentive to your questions and the workouts are designed with a purpose. This was a great experience for me. The trainers - Brock, Brandon & Josh are great! The challenge not only involves working out. You are provided with a food guide which if you utilize it appropriately you will see positive results. Combine those two things along with one very important third decision - You committing to the challenge. If you aren't willing to commit yourself to 6 weeks then nothing will change for you. I lost 27 lbs in 6 weeks by simply showing up and eating appropriately. It was hard but fun. Be creative with your food. Egg white quiche with sweet potatoes. Yum. Participating in the Drop 20 Challenge was the best decision I've made in a long time. Anyone can do it. You can do it! #SquadIn

So I needed a jump start aka restart after having My son and completely losing touch with any sort of fitness/healthy eating. The camp challenge is a great way to jump start a commitment to fitness. The coaches are very friendly and encouraging, the workouts will challenge you, and the nutrition plan will definitely help you and others to see the changes you are implementing. Everyone( including myself) who has completed the challenge is proud of their results at the end. And trust me, you will WORK for them. The location is convenient for those along 280 or in Homewood (especially if you commute to/from UAB during the week) and in a safe area. The gym is not your traditional looking one, but it will get the job done and then some.

Firm Body Bootcamp is amazing! Everyday is something different. You never get burnt out or bored like with traditional gym routines. I started bootcamp because I needed a drastic life change. I hadn't seen a gym regularly since college and my waistline definitely showed it. Since starting bootcamp I've lost 35lbs and I find myself looking forward to exercising again!!!
