This is the place to workout in Hot Springs! We were in town visiting relatives and were able to get in a workout. This would be our gym if we lived in Hot Springs. Owner on site, very friendly and showed us some Arkansas hospitality. I highly recommend this gym. Plus, you have to stop by and see Flex the gym mascot. If Flex ever sires pups I hope you contact me. Thanks again for the great workout. Next time we are back in town we will definitely stop in again.

Flex is the most versatile and amazing gyms I have ever worked out in. The name says it all. 3 full levels of flexibility. Level 1 for cardio and iso machines along with tanning beds, level 2 for the serious muscle building experience, and my personal favorite, level 3 - the warrior room for serious body building and USPA powerlifting. Teddy the owner is one of the coolest gym owners I have ever met. He is super knowledgeable and more than willing to help anyone achieve their goals. If you want to seriously change your life then Flex is defiantly the gym for you!!

I came home for leave to visit family for a week and needed a gym to go to. The owner was really awesome and let me workout there. The place is what I call true iron. There was everything I needed and setups I haven't seen before. Definitely a good place to workout.

I like to pick things up and put them down at this place. It's a great 3 story facility. The cardio machines are on the bottom floor with some boxing bags and a water fountain. The facility is wheelchair accessible. The middle floor has all the free weights and weigh machines. And there are about 200 different machines on this floor. If you can't find what you need here then you don't belong in a gym. Teddy Zane is the owner and he is an awesome dude,He is very helpful person if you are a novice lifter. And he doesn't tolerate any bs in his gym such as leaving weights lying around. They constantly update the machines and move more in. They aren't all brand new but none of them are in bad condition whatsoever. The top floor is a cardio boxing class that they offer. 10/10 love when I get to come to this gym. It is by far one of the best gyms I have visited in Alabama.

Edit: Teddy reached out to me and despite my issue I'd like it to be known that I don't harbor any personal ill will towards him. In all my interactions with Teddy he's always been a chill guy. I still hope the front desk issues get resolved; however, now that I have his cell phone number I'll just harangue him personally! :) I think it's comical that a business never answers their phone and consistently has a full voicemail inbox. I have literally tried calling these people no short of 3 dozen times over a one month period. They must care very little about selling memberships and maintaining customer satisfaction. All I want to know is what my freaking door code is because you guys keep changing it every other month. I'm not available to leisurely swing by during your business hours - not that it matters because no one is ever at the desk!

I’ve managed gym’s in 5 different cities and 2 different stages and I can tell you one of the best ways to tell if someone will see success when they start their journey into fitness is if they find a gym with great community. Flex knocks that out of the park. Great people, Very supportive. And a ton of cool equipment to work with. You don’t get to lift with a monolift very often. It’s a must visit.

I like to pick stuff up and then put it down and Flex had more stuff for me to pick up than any other gym around. The staff is always nice, Teddy the owner is a good guy, and they play real music overhead. Also their trainers are real trainers, not just gym employees. I would recommend Flex Fitness to anyone looking to change their lifestyle or just get help w diet and general fitness. I would also recommend putting ur weights up when u finish ur set

Please don't join this gym. They won't tell you you're on a 12month contract and when you decide to cancel it you have to pay out your contact or they will put it on your credit. Its so many hidden fees.They use a company named affiliated acceptance. Its not worth it. Its very cold and the carpet is dirty. Some machines doesn't work. Please don't join this gym you will regret it find another gym. And Mic is not my boyfriend and he paid for the hole the next time he got paid. He bought you the $100 remember. You was all cool when you got that $100. And if my review was false you wouldn't have responded. I'm not the only one who wrote a 1 star review on y'all. Even on the BBB website y'all reviews are terrible.

From the day I walked in the door at Flex Fitness I’ve been amazed at the facility. Everything that I used to have to pay 3 or 4 different facilities to get I now have access to under one roof. The staff is awesome and as accomadating with their customer service as any business I’ve ever stepped foot into.

Stay away from this gym and for sure do not hire a trainer it is all a scam the trainer I hired screwed me at the start but I was nice to give him another chance and he gave me a deal for 3 months of training well that trainer is not there anymore and I am just screwed STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS GYM UPDATE 9/5/18 HAVE NOT BEEN TO THIS GYM IN 1 YEAR AS I WAS TOLD MY MEMBERSHIP WAS TERMINATED DUE TO ALL THE PROBLEMS AND BAD REVIEW I GAVE BUT NOW I HAVE A CHARGE FROM FLEX FITNESS 39.99 ON MY ACCOUNT AGAIN I URGE YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS GYM NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS AND SCAMS

This gym is caters to body builders and power lifters. However, even if that's not what you are looking for you can get a good workout. The gym lacks some amenities other gyms offer such as larger lockers rooms, massage machines, multiple shower stalls. But as far a machines, equipment and actual weights it covers the all the needs and offers rates based on the equipment you want access to ranging from $10.00 to $45.00

This is the best gym in the Birmingham area hands down. 3 floors of up to date equipment, plenty of free weights, and it's a clean facility! Training is offered for an extra fee, and the owner is extremely knowledgeable and people friendly.

Very welcoming atmosphere. Facility is great and they are constantly getting new equipment and making improvements. Stan the boxing coach provides great instruction and will drop whatever he is doing to train you any time. Started seeing results from Stan's training in 3 weeks.

I have been a member on and off here for the past 4 years or so. I cancelled my first membership after my year was up because I moved back home, I had no problems the first time. I then reopened my membership again when I moved back to Irondale in August 2017. I have recently moved back home again and cancelled my membership again because its too far of a drive. I had some issues with my pregnancy, and could not use my membership. A medical hold was put on my account for 2 months which I appreciated while I was in the hospital and back and forth with my daughter in the NICU, so I obviously had no time or need for a gym right now. This was in April. I understood that I was obligated to a year with the membership. My year was up in August 2018. I called and spoke with Chris, cancelled my membership, I was told to send an email explaining why I needed to cancel my membership and what I wanted to do. I thought everything was good and my membership was cancelled because that is what I was told over the phone. I have since been charged numerous times and my account has gone into overdraft because of this. I have tried to contact this place numerous times to talk with them about this, but I can NEVER get an answer. I have called from both my cell, and work phone. I finally gave up and called my bank. Thankfully, they reimbursed my overdraft charges and refunded the money for this. I checked today and there is yet another charge for this, AND another overdraft fee. Thanks to this, I got turned down for a loan that I needed for college due to having overdraft in my account from a membership that I was told was cancelled. I am not happy at all and I hope this place fixes their communication issues and gets some better customer support, so this does not happen to anyone else. I have always recommended Flex Fitness, because it was one of the nicest, cleanest, well kept gyms that I have been to. I don't know what else to do, maybe one day I can get them on the phone to talk to them about my issues.
