The best kept strength and conditioning secret in Birmingham. It's amazing to me there isn't a line out the door with people trying to get into this place. Literal world class equipment with a coach who has worked with Division I and professional athletes. Really, if you're serious about training and want an environment that's going to push you to be your very best, this is your place. I've been lifting for years and within 3 weeks of working with Coach Grisham I'm hitting PR's in every lift. Absolutely couldn't recommend it enough.

Absolutely the best gym I've found in the area for Weightlifting, Powerlifting, or sports performance. This is the gym where other local coaches go for coaching. Professional coaching from a professional strength and conditioning coach. Coach Terry has been a strength and conditioning coach for professional teams around the country. World class equipment, literally. The bars and plates are from the 2015 world championships. You won't find many other gyms with Eleiko equipment. If you've never lifted on an Eleiko bar, you're doing yourself a disservice.

Fantastic Gym. If you are looking for a professional coaching and state of the art weightlifting in Birmingham, Chalk is the place to be. Literal weightlifting champions have used the platforms at this gym at one point or another as well.

Best spot in Birmingham for weightlifting with full Eleiko set-up. Chalk Gym is set up like an international training hall with only the finest equipment. Terry is a great guy, I dropped in from out of town and he welcomed me in like a regular.

This is no ordinary gym. I feel like I belong to family here. Everyone, regardless of your fitness level, is treated the same. I’m encouraged, and held accountable on a daily basis. The equipment is second to none. You will get stronger and learn a lot, but you will also make life long friends here.
