I've been going to this gym for over a couple years now. It is a nice private gym with all the equipment a person would need. The hours are great and they offer a panoply of services (Personal training, Karate, etc.) I highly recommend coming to this gym.

The gym is locked, unless you’re there on the owners hours, which are HIS convenient hours, you can not get any access or information to the gym since he has no employees, not to mention the man charges you more the next year if you renew the memebership with him? Only gym like his in the area, but really inconvenient and horrible with his customer service.

My favorite gym thus far. Has designated women's area, men's sauna, several tanning beds including a standing bed. Has cardiovascular room and offers classes with membership as well as designated child care times.

My contest prep coach works out of this gym, he is awesome. The gym itself is pretty good, I go up about once a week to meet with my coach and I usually end up training there while I am at it

Small local gym with free weights in the back and cardio equipment and machines up front. Weights area needs to have the floor leveled but otherwise well equipped. Also there is no attendant up front but the owner is generally easy to get in touch with if there is a problem. Well worth the modest month to month membership cost.

Love the weight room here and the classes offered. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. One thing that's kind of a downside there's a sauna available but only for men

Equipment is great but the place is always a mess. Weights are rarely put up. There are new signs saying they are watching but are they inforcing? On top of that the aerobic/cardio classes fill up. The only reason I am still a member is the other locations I use when I am not close to home.

We're in town visiting family and was looking for a gym to get a workout in. The staff was incredibly hospitable and accommodating. It had plenty of equipment and free weights. I'd definitely join this gym if I lived in the area and will definitely visit again when we're back in town! Thanks for a great experience.

American Health and Fitness is a good gym. It’s usually clean but overcrowding at busy times can be overwhelming. There could be more classes and more variety. I do appreciate the women only section.

This is a great gym. It's got everything you need as far as free weights/machines/cardio, is clean and the staff was friendly. For out of towners a day-pass is 10$ with the first trial day being free.

The gym is nice. It's all got all you need in the free weights department, dumbells go up pretty high. Basic machines are available. It's truly 24/7 if you have the key card. The trainers are very annoying and take up more space than they need, are loud for no reason and literally just eyeball the whole time their client trains. Not having anyone at the front desk is pretty annoying. Doug may or may not call you back. Wouldn't pay anything more than 20 a month for this gym.

Needed to cancel membership due to active military service and would no longer be in town They told me I had to pay for 6 months up front! $180 I had to pay because I am gone to fort Jackson active military and cannot use the gym! I will not use this gym
