Easily 0-stars deserved! The most horrible, slowest service I've ever experienced!!! We used to come here once in a blue moon because the food was so good, but they changed their menu or got a new chef or something because everything sucks now!! Impossibly bad service paired with barely edible food makes for an awful night.

Great golf course, well maintained and fun to play. As challenging as you want to make it with a lot of wildlife.

Fairways supper narrow with impossible rough, not sure if they own a mower, service is nice but if you are not a pro golfer you will spend more time looking for your ball than golfing.

Love the people that work here and the course has really made a turn around since the new ownership. Every visit is better than the last!!!!

My son had a wedding here last May and it was not for a lack of trying but they took on more than they could handle for sure. They are past there once heyday which was sad to see.

Probably one of the worst courses I have seen in a long time. It’s located in a field with utterly no trees. Greens were in ridiculous condition with a lot of winter kill. For $35 a round, they are stealing your money. Enough said....

The short version: This was the single worst dining experience I have ever had, and I am not exaggerating. I would honestly give this NO stars if it was possible. The long version: My siblings and I gathered in town to take my parents out for their 50th wedding anniversary (you know...one of those important events in life). Being in Laramie, the places to celebrate such an event are few and far between. My dad had heard about the Fox Run and suggested we give it a try. We made reservations online for Tuesday night for 13 people at 6:30 p.m. Early in that day the chef called me and told me that they would be very happy to accept our reservation but he wanted to let us know they were technically closed because of staff training. He assured me that we would be well taken care of and maybe even more so than normal. Not having many other options I agreed. We arrived slightly before 6:30 and were escorted into a nice dining room with a long table set up just for us. That was the highlight of the night. The waitress was in training but not being trained (if that makes sense). She was flying solo without any oversight. After 15 minutes she brought bread to our table (a baguette cut into thin slices) with rock hard butter. There was enough bread for everyone to have one piece. Later when we asked for more she said, "we don't have any more." At the 25 minute mark we received our drinks and she took our orders from a VERY limited menu with only about 5 dinner choices plus limited sides (eg. they had 4 baked potatoes for us to fight over). She then disappeared. Completely and entirely! There was no music, no human activity or anything. The wait began. It was at precisely 8 p.m. (an hour and half after we took our seats) that our waitress emerged with our soup and side salads. There was only one option for soup (french onion) and it was luke warm with about four croutons and a piece of unmelted swiss cheese floating on the top. The side salads consisted primarily of a handful of lettuce and a small cup of dressing. Little did we know this would be the best part of our meal. Another 20 minutes passed and finally another guy and I went to the kitchen doors and stepped inside. There were 5 people in the kitchen with about two-thirds of the meals sitting on a shelf with a warming light. We asked how much longer and they said, "should be ready in about 15 more minutes." Even though we had seriously discussed leaving through the front door we decided we had made it this far, so what's another 15 minutes. Our food came out and it was HORRIBLE! Probably less than half the food that was served was eaten. A pasta dish that was so cold my sister-in-law simply asked for a to-go box and boxed it up without eating any of it. The prime rib was barely edible. Overcooked (even though everyone ordered medium rare to rare) and tough as shoe leather. I could go on. I went to the lobby and caught the chef and sat with him on a couch and calmly told him that the night was disaster and the food was awful. He offered to comp a couple meals which I told him was unacceptable and that if it weren't for the fact this was a special occasion I would raise a royal stink. He finally suggested he take 40% off the bill. Being a VERY generous customer I acquiesced. The waitress brought the bill and he had only taken off 20% so I very carefully went over the bill and calculated what we owed him and went to him at the bar and pointed to his mistake which he tried to convince me I was wrong. I stayed the course and showed him where he was wrong. He then suggested we settle at $200 (the bill after 40% was $191). I reminded him that he agreed to 40% and I wanted to hold him to his word. I gave him two options: 1. Be a man of his word and I wouldn't write a review or 2. I'll pay the $200 but will write an honest review. He said, "I don't care about the reivew." So...here it is.
