Two completely different nine holes. Back nine might have some of the hardest par fours in all of Wisconsin. They are doing improvements again and the course is getting better.

Great course. They recently added a cart bar that is pretty great. I lost the long drive competition with my brothers and was forced to drink a shot that was half Early Times whiskey and half Durango tequila, not a good drink for human beings.

Once again Bob has shown to be a perfect host. We have used the Big Fish Banquet Hall and outside facilities for two weddings. Both have been over the top. The first started outdoors with the wedding and gorgeous scenery. Our Grand Daughter and her wedding party made their way from the Mulligans across the course to the top of the hill to meet the guests and the man she was to marry. It was breath taking. Followed by large outdoor BBQ grills under the big tent. Bob had fire pits going all over. The walk ways were all lit. Finally the party moved indoors for the reception and dance. The evening was perfect. Two years later we were very fortunate the date was open for our second wedding. Again, Over the top! The banquet center and bar area are beautiful. They can handle your food, bridal party wedding flowers, flowers & decor for the church, the hall, and even decorate to your theme. They covered it all for us. They were perfect. Once again we were not disappointed. I would recommend the Big Fish Banquet Center for any wedding or booking. We have already booked our Christmas Party for 2017! Thank You Bob! Your the Best!!!

This course has an awesome layout but it appears that very little money has been put back into the course to keep it up. This use to be my favorite course in the area hands down and in my top 5 in the state. Put some money back into this place and charge more if you have to. Make it a destination for golf.

Was a disappointment when I was there. It was pricey for what it ended up being, as it wasn't manicured very well for being in the middle of summer. They need to stick some money into it if they want a better course, or, lower the rates. Have had better golf experiences at Hayward CC and Spooner.

Decent Pete Dye layout. Front nine links style, back nine more interesting in the woods. Good value, but not in great condition. Maintenance not a high priority. Few amenities at clubhouse. Would have given higher rating if in better condition.

Great course with very different nines. Front is very open. Links-style if you will. Backside is cut through the forest. Each hole reminds me of Giants Ridge. A very nice contrast to the front. Great condition when we played it. A beautiful course. I feel guilty I took this long to play it. It’s been open quite a while. Definitely worth playing when you are in Hayward. Also, it’s right across the street from the casino. In a good way. Played the course, then hit the buffet. I’ll be back.

We were having a great time until someone from the womans league came up to us and said we couldn't go ahead of them she and her team were one of the unfriendliest group we have come in contact with ever. It soured our morning as we left the course after only two holes the four of them were nasty people.

A little hidden gem. As of 6/25/19, course is a bit wet but in great shape. Truly the best in the Hayward area.

Big Fish is continuously getting better with the help of a great staff in the golf shop and on the course! I would recommend this course to anyone who plays. I am majoring in Golf Enterpise Management at UW-Stout and the golf shop team is second to none! Great place, better staff.

I go there for dart league. the bartenders have been really nice. I'm excited to try the golf course when the weather gets nice agian. There is a big hall there that can be used for weddings dances an such.

Really cool experience for northern WI, but not Pete's best work. Links style front, with the back nine carved from hell itself. I don't know if I have ever seen a more drastic change from front to back as far as playability. Back nine is not for the faint of heart. Worth a look

Course is in fantastic condition ! Every hole is different. Everyone that works there is a charm. Chris the pro was great! Food was great too.... We had a blast. Thanks to twin cities golf for setting up a great tournament. We are coming back for more

Awesome layout, front nine in absolutely perfect shape, back nine a few thin fairways and greens, but overall very nice. Weekday pace was less than 4 hours too! Definitely a must play.

Great course. Front is links, back 9 is wooded. Pete Dye design. Not a bad hole. Great price too. We paid $39 a guy for 18 with cart on a Monday in June.

It's a fun course but the customer service was terrible. We played on a Friday and there was no beverage cart. We were told that the only place for food closed an hour before the posted time. The service really put a damper on a day on a nice course.

Such an incredible hidden gem in Hayward. Its basically 2 courses in one. The front 9 is a link style course while the back is a traditional Minnesota/Wisconsin layout, cut right into the woods.

Big Fish. Big Course. Big Potential. Big disappointment. I don't think this was Pete Dye's vision 15 years later when he built it. Conditions were poor and the course overall is just very underwhelming.

Played on Friday, Staff unfriendly, not knowledgeable, Had 9 golfers pro shop no idea three 3's or a 4 and 5 some. It makes a difference in carts needed, had to return a cart starter wanted 4 and 5 sum, Very poor condition course, Pub no cold beer on a Friday afternoon, no beer cart, pub staff could not mix a cocktail very well and did not know prices. Rocks along cart paths to trip over. Not a pretty course , poor value. Have played many resort area courses, this one under par for the area.
