DESCRIPTION

Here you have all the information of real people who purchase the products and services of Mountaineer Golf Course (Golf) in West Virginia.

At present the business receives a rating of 4.0 over 5 and that rating was based on 63 reviews.

As you can see the average of ratings that it reaches is very high, and it's founded on a very large number of feddbacks, so we can think that the assessment is very credible. If there are many people who bothered to give their opinion when they are happy, it works.

You know that we don't usually bother to place tatings when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...

REVIEWS OF Mountaineer Golf Course IN West Virginia

I liked the course. Tough to hold the greens, and had many three putts, but liked the course and would play it again.

Played the course 2 times, one in early summer, second in fall. Course is poorly maintained terrible grass and bare spots everywhere, and the cart path is hell.

I always visit Mountaineer Golf Course a ew times per month during the summer and early fall. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The course prices are some of the best in the area, so is the cost for a bucket of balls to hit at the driving range. It's a great place to grab a few friends and a few beers and have some fun.

Nice facilities. Was only there to set up a tent for a charity golf tournament. Very friendly staff. Don't know much more than that because I don't play golf.

Local legend, great pro, great rates and flexible membership options. The only real driving range in Morgantown.

Charles Shaffer

Well it's an 18 hole course and we'll maintained. They have a nice size club house with plenty of go lucky staff that r always smiling. The greens r extremely fast but it makes for challenging puts. The prices r very competitive. The course overall is definitely a 9 out of 10 for me.

Pretty bad when comparing it to most course. But good enough and tons of fun. Also pretty

Short, but tricky. Nice people, good sandwiches, cold drinks. Not for snobs. Go enjoy.

Dan Parker

The golf course has a dog that likes to jump in your cart with you. 10/10 would go back.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Played in a benefit tournament. The lunch they prepared for the 18 teams was great. One negative; the tee off areas were extremely hard.

This course is a mess! The front nine isn't terrible, with much of it being straight away. The back nine as mentioned elsewhere in reviews is absolutely horrible! The younger staff at this course are its only redeeming quality. They are enthusiastic, helpful, and friendly. The older staff however are some of the worst people I've ever met. Not only are they unfriendly, but they are completely unhelpful when it comes to beginners picking up the game. I have been met with nothing but derision since picking up the game a few months ago. They have lost my tee time, and then said that I must have called the wrong place. Instead of an apology I was told to walk the back night, or wait half an hour. The older staff seem far more interested in drinking and not creating an enjoyable experience for their patrons. If you can afford to go to a public course in PA, or can go to Lakeview I would recommend doing so. This course and the older men who work there are in dire need of updating. Words alone cannot express how truly disappointing my experiences with this course and its proprietors have been! GO ELSEWHERE FOR GOOD GOLF AND FRIENDLY PEOPLE!!

On our once a year trip to see a game, always enjoy a round out here. Economical and friendly, and you might end up with the local dog in your cart.

Look this place is not a country club but for what it costs it is a great little course and they just got all new golf carts that are really nice. You can go play Monday Wednesday and Friday after 2 o'clock 18 holes with a cart for twenty bucks

It was a great time the snow was so peaceful and relaxing never played golf but it was a grate time

This is a great course for the money. Fall rates are $20 with a cart for 18. If your a big hitter you may get a little bored with the short holes. However they balance the distance out with very small greens that are all very hard to read. Overall the course is in ok shape. Biggest complaint are the tee boxes. They’re all in poor condition. Most of the fairways and greens are in average condition. For 20 bucks it’s a great value and I highly recommend the course unless your maybe a really hard core golfer used to country clubs.
