Great course to play. Chef James Smith does an outstanding job in the Dry Fly Cafe.
Outstanding!! Course is in great shape!
I was very relaxing fly fishing and working on my casting. I don't golf but it looks to be a good course lots of golfers that seem to be enjoying themselves. The food in the club house is excellent!
Nice staff, good catering. Went there for a wedding. Member screamed at my wife after rushing at her with a golf cart waving his arms. Ruined a nice day. Will not recommend to others.
The service was absolutely fantastic, the food was amazing, and the ambiance of the facility was perfect! Brian, Andrea, and their team did an amazing job in making sure the wedding flowed perfectly and that the setting was absolutely beautiful! It was by far the best day of both Mitch and my life and we would definitely choose Trophy Lake again for any event or celebration! They blew us away with how amazing they were and I couldn't have asked for a better facility or people! Even though we had a few hiccups they did everything in their power to make it right and keep our day amazing, we couldn't thank them enough!
Top golfing experience. Staff and the venue made the difference. The course was exceptionally well maintained and the greens were challenging. Long par 3s and longer par 5s reward the smart and daring alike. Ask for John the head pro at the golf shop and tell him I sent you!
Love this place going to West coast dinner
Beautiful golf course. We'll maintained. Wonderful staff.
Awsome Shawna and Brenda are the best and Jim the Chef is wonderful
Great course! Sadly it seems a bit run down. All of the water features were not operable. The club house is showing much wear and tear and the carts were on there last legs. The staff was great. Play was slow but steady.
Absolutely love this course.
This is a beautiful course
The course has deteriorated since last played.
Good golf.
Love Xander who works in the clubhouse!!!!
Nice course
Great place, golfing and food and people.
This was an OK course. It was well maintained considering the weather (we went in the winter months). It felt like every hole was a dog leg something. I mean, there were some straight tracks but I guess it just wasn't my favorite. There is one par 4 that when you tee off you have an amazing view of Mt Rainier. Should be on every brochure of theirs. It's pretty incredible. I guess just overall I felt underwhelmed.
Great course and beautiful scenery all around
Great trek, course is in excellent condition and the greens are true and were running at 10.5 on Sunday
Greatest
Good food for the area
Trophy Lake Golf and Casting is a Great Golf Course and challenging. They do a great job of maintaining the course Ryan and Josh take their job seriously. John the Head Pro and Dave take fantastic care of me whenever I play there which is often. Brenda and Gretchen provide excellent service in the restaurant. How can you beat this course... Lots of wildlife, deer, bald eagles and a couple of the lakes are stocked with trout. There are a total of 3 home on this property very peaceful and relaxing.
Nice course with friendly and helpful staff
We used their driving range only but were very impressed with the facility and the friendly staff. Will definitely go back for golf!
Beautiful atmosphere for a wedding I attended. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Food was good.
By far one of the best golf courses in the greater Pierce and Kitsap county area. Beautiful waterfalls and sand. Very clean greens and fairway turf some of the best you will experience.
Was traveling to Seattle for pleasure and decided to meet up with an old colleague who suggested we play on a Friday afternoon. It was a bit of a drive from Seattle but oh so worth it. What a fantastic course! We had a few groups in front of us, but for most of the round we felt like we were alone! The location is gorgeous - quiet, lots of wildlife, flora, fauna. While the fairways and greens are generous, some do put a premium on accuracy and distance control. It felt like a new challenge awaited on every shot. The fairways were in very good shape - like hitting off carpet most of time, but there were a few dry patches which was surprising. The greens were large and a little tricky to read - quite a few subtle breaks but rolled true. 18 is such a beautiful finishing hole - a par 5 but certainly reachable in two if you are a long hitter and willing to carry some water in front and right. I finished the round with 4 birdies on the back, which was great. I would definitely recommend the course if you are in the area - I am certainly planning a return visit next time I head up there.
Being in a major resort / timeshare i expected a bit more on the service side of things.
This place is beautiful and a fun place to golf or do alittle fly fishing. It was a long drive from our Kirkland area but we'll worth it. We enjoyed a day of golfing and took in the wonderful views, we even had a furry friends come visit along the way.
Nice track, in excellent shape. A bit pricey for the area when you consider that you can play Gold Mountain for about half the price. Still a really nice course however.
Nice track.
Beautiful scenery, Wi-Fi is lacking...poor cellular signal in the area.
Pretty nice course, just recently opened disc golf course there as well. Playing golf on one hole while someone is birding a shot with a disc on another hole.. and you can rent carts for both...lol
My buddy and I had been looking to play here for 5 years, but couldn't justify the $70 rounds. We saw the add about $40 rounds on Tuesdays in July. We jumped at the chance. The young ladies at the front desk were great and pointed out how to get to the start. The starter was awesome and let us go out a few minutes early because the group in front of us were no shows. We caught up with the next group and from there it was hurry up and wait. What should have been a 4 1/2 hour riuro took well over 5 hours, temperatures over 90° and NEVER even saw the beverage cart, which we were told was out there. Greens were nice and the fairways decent. Most of the time, we are going "I can't believe we're almost done" but by hole #12, it was "6 more long holes to go?" Played it the one time I needed to play. Disappointed by the lack of water hazzards from a place with Lake in it's name.
Was in great shape fast greens
Excellent golf course and great staff.
Went for the short course with kids, nicely challenging, nicely laid out course.
Great twilight pricing and course well maintained
Well maintained, and challenging course. Love the woodsy, private setting. Greens are in great condition.
It is by far one of my favorite golf courses!
Awesome course...never a boring look..great pace of play...$200 to play all winter... Great staff..so rad
Kind of sucks when you can't even reach the club for a reservation at 7p the night before to ask about tee times. Lost a 3-some today because of it. I enjoyed it the last time, but how is someone supposed to enjoy it again when you try both numbers located on the oki website and the google my business profile?
The course is in great shape and the staff at the clubhouse, the starter and at the restaurant were just top notch in their hospitality. I also liked that they did not jam groups and left enough time for each group to pick up pace. The course is challenging but very playable and they have made some improvements that help with the pace of play.
Great course and over priced or they would get 5-star rating!
Went out of their way to support a family wedding. Brenda was always there ensuring our comfort. Just the right size for our 50 person wedding. Beautiful grounds. We had great weather for out doors.
You want to play a real coarse go to trophy!
The food was good and the service was friendly. A good place to watch the snow storm from.
Who has fly fishing and gulf atvthe same location? they have it here! E. Greene
My lil cousin was having her wedding here at the golf course which is well taken care of and clean and just straight out beautiful with the waterfall and the scenery in the back ground of the wedding and the food that was served was with out of a doubt hands down 10 out of 10 the Bar 5 out of 5 and the service was 10 out of 10 so altogether would I do it all over again if I had to or would recommend this place to my friends or would I myself want to have my wedding here with out of a doubt "YES" IF u have never seen this place u should take the time to stop and take a look around and be the judge of what u see because it's Beautiful and I love it there and I think everyone else would think the same about it ask do if u seen it with your own two eyes thanks
Course is in great shape. Pace of play was excellent.
Hi, I recently visited this place with my friend Joe. He is a Oki cardholder. He treated me to one of his free "Oki" rounds. Everything was lined up for an awesome day of golf. Joe asked John the head Pro for a handicap flag for our cart. Joe has 3 joints replaced one knee very recently, I am getting my knee replaced very soon. The course was cart path only. It is my understanding that the handicap flags are available at every other course as my friend tells me he has never been turned down. Well, John apparently does not believe in being nice and accomadative when it comes to the handicap flag. His answer was "No, "We don't do that" to be exact. John is not a nice man. Tim Reynolds.
Beautiful course.
10 PM I pulled up next to the locked gate and used my phone. This is a very good spot to deploy your mods.
Attention golfers: Not a fun environment for golf, very strict and militant! Came here for a fundraiser with our church ended up leaving early. As our group played the fastest round golf possible, we were still harassed several times by routine patrolling. we were the third of 18 groups to turn in their cart and score card. Walkie talkies and angry voices hollering, "Pick Up The Pace" is all I remember from our golfing experience. I will not be playing there again. Thanks for taking the time to read my review, for this is the first time I've ever reviewed a company. I hope this helps in your decision making process.
Nephew wedding was here. JUST BEAUTIFUL! We had a great time, the staff was awesome, facility was top notch.
Super great course.....very challenging and you can score well, if you stay on the short stuff!
One of my favorite courses. Challenging, beautiful, and really nice greens. Bring your bunker game or stay out of them. They are deep and well placed. Good deal off season. About 60 with cart. Summer runs around 100. It's worth it
Great time
My favorite South Sound golf facility.
Trophy Lake GC bests the other courses around the area such as Gold Mountain, Whitehorse & Port Ludlow.
Great service in the restaurant! We sat on patio and enjoyed watching golfers come in off 18 and the huge waterfall had a cold one and a snack. Can't say enough great stuff about Brenda and Gretchen our servers, amazing view ! Just a little disappointed when waterfall shut off and bar closed down before dark, will try again but head in earlier maybe.
A real gem just a little over an hour from the city, it's a gorgeous alternative to the extraordinarily priced choices on the west side of the bay. The staff is helpful and delightful making for a wonderful wedding experience.
Good course
I enjoyed the golf course and it was in great shape and was beautiful.
Pretty nice course. Played in a Pro-Am event. Club sandwich in the bar was super tasty.
Just played there, 5 hour round. If you want to be a premium property then a playing time like a muni is not the way to do that. I like the course, but with the hump to get over there from Redmond WA (especially with the highway traffic from construction these days) it's not worth the hassle to go down there. Most Oki course don't give a rip about pace of play. This is on of them. Update: So, I'm back a year later (we use the Oki Card, Seattle golfers know what this is). Well, of course, another nearly 5 hour round. Plus when we were done the place was consumed with a wedding so no place to sit down and eat or have a drink. The course staff was sitting around doing nothing and golf carts were blocking the way to get to the parking lot with our clubs. We moved the carts away so we could get through. Why do the guests have to do the work of the staff? The men's room in the clubhouse also smelled like urine. Hey, do a full cleaning from top to bottom of that restroom. The sad thing is this is one of the nicer courses in Western WA. Too bad the staff is so unconcerned with customer service. We may simply stick with the tribal courses nest summer. They have way better service! To the Oki person who responded last year. It is the management that is the issue here. They don't care. Not at any Oki course, slow play is endemic at Oki.
Great place to have a nice lunch after golf, or a solid breakfast before.
I love this course by Ryan hammer doesn't like me and had me banned from the course and says he will fire anyone that brings me to the golf course even to drop someone of at work and last year when I worked there and I worked over time they only paid me 5 dollars for over time hours so I'm gonna have the IRS look into that cause it's not right they way oki golf is treating me for doing nother and being one of there hardest workers so for the owner of this course help me it alittle please this isn't right I shouldnt be treated this way noone should if your going to band someone do it for he right reasons not because you don't like someone
My go to Golf round. Always in great shape and a fun technical course to play!
Wonderful course!
Beautiful course.
Wet but nice as long as you're okay with cart path only or walking
Staff helpful, course in terrific condition. Plays reasonably fast. Beer is cold
!Muy Bueno
My favorite oki course, and i think one of the best in the area. Staff is always great. Practice range is nice, and course is really cool/fun! Carts are always included, so keep that in mind when judging the price to value. Restaurant is good and good value. Special mention - cell service seems to be really bad while on the course. They have free wifi in the clubhouse/restaurant. Never fished here, just golf.
Enjoyed the round, beautiful course. Will come back.
Great,thanks
Best course in Kitsap county.
Food is marginal at best. Great golf
If you golf it's a must play if you fly fish stop by.
This has been my favorite course for well over half a decade. John the course pro is knowledgeable and the whole staff is friendly. Absolutely beautiful course and I will be back.
