I was here for a wedding. The bats over the lake as the sun went down charmed everyone. The couple said the venue made everything easy. We had a great time.

Dawn E Johnecheck

Joe at went site seeing. Beautiful place. Don't personally know anything about the golf course.

Adam Williams

Interesting to play however disappointing in the end because of the poor maintenance and inconsistent greens. #17 & #18 are great finishing holes. It's overpriced in comparison to others.

Bobby Reece

The area was well maintained and the Staff were all pleasant and did their jobs well.

People should slow down and watch when driving past. I notice people who drive the gold carts just drive across and don't look. Like it isn't a busy road

Jeff

Great course.

I like this course quite a bit even if it is a bit unconventional. Playing from the blues it still provides a fairly good challenge with long par 3s but gives you good opportunities for reaching par 5 holes in 2. Views are nice and the finish is always satisfying with the toughest hole on 17 and an island green on 18.

Roger Andersen

Great course.

One of my favorite golf course. Well kept with friendly staff. Bring extra balls for the 18th island green par three.

Matt Rodrigues

I played here for the first time yesterday (June 1, 2017). It is fantastic! It rained pretty hard in the morning but the course wasn't wet at all. The golf course is a good mix of wide open holes and very narrow holes (1 and 9 are especially tight). It's just shy of 6000 from the tips but feels longer due to the layout. All of the holes are a good mix of short and long (e.g. a 110 yard par 3 but also a 200 yard par 3). You can pull driver on every hole, but you don't have to. The tee boxes and fairways were well maintained and the rough was a reasonable length. The greens were immaculate! Perfectly maintained and very quick, but consistent throughout the course. They are tricky but not tricked up, meaning you can actually make a putt. 17 and 18 are two of the toughest but best finishing holes I've played anywhere....18 is particularly awesome! Also, all of the staff we encountered were very friendly! Overall, Echo Falls is an awesome place to golf and to spend the day. I'll be going back soon!

Course is in great shape. Great lay out

I really enjoyed the design of this course. I'm an avid golfer and used to play competitively, and I stumbled upon Echo Falls because no one else had a tee time for 1 player. The fairways are tight and there isn't much room for error off the tee. This continues with most approach shots as the greens are super tiny and are surrounded by thick rough. A good short game from thick grass is key to scoring low here. The greens are fast and the bunkers are strategically placed. Throw away the driver for this course...simply not needed, even from the blues. Why 4 stars? They don't water this place as much as they should (sure it saves water, but for their prices, should be watering more). There are places on the course where the grass has literally dried up and blown away (they don't really come into play, but it looks horrendous). Secondly, the prices are a little steep for what you get. Definitely give this place a try, and if you have kids, this is a wonderful place to emphasize the importance of a good short game early on.

Friendly servers. Paid $8.00 for a small cup of soup.

Cliff Nahm

Fun golf course. Many different hole designs to challenge anyone.

Bonnie Yunker

Awesome course and staff.

Tommy Johnson

Fun course with challenging holes; 18th hole is an island green. The two par 3 holes in a row on the back is a bit weird. One complaint would be it gets soaked over winter so you plug a lot of shots even in the fairways at the beginning of the season.

Lee Byrd

Its certainly an interesting course... The 2 finishing holes are terrific and at least let you leave with a smile on your face, assuming you play them well. But there are some bizarre holes mixed in. The course is really short and has 6 par 3's. One of them is better suited for a pitch and putt course, as it is less than 100 yards. Another two run parallel to each other and create a sort of cool/weird set up when you are on one of them. The 18th is an island green and another has a pond in front of the green. It's an interesting mix. It also features the most insane hill climb from the 11th green to the 12th tee followed by a tee shot straight back down the hill. It's basically a non-walkable course because of this. It's definitely a fun place to play, but it's a somewhat weird experience. The course is normally in pretty good shape, but like most of the Oki courses, it feels overpriced.

Echo Falls Golf course gets a 3 out of 5 rating from me. First the good: 1. Probably the best public course greens I have putted on in the Seattle area. They are true and fast. 5 stars 2. Challenging course. Really makes you think. 4 stars. The bad: 1. Traps are hard with lots of small rocks. 2 Stars 2. The layout of the course is horrible. No rhythm or flow. 2 stars. 3. Pace of play on the course was HORRIBLE. Saw the course marshal several times and he did nothing about it. We literally sat on the ground for 10 minutes waiting on several holes. It was a little over 5.5 hour round. 1 star Overall, I enjoyed the round but probably will not play there again. There are better courses out there for the money.

This is definitely one of the worst oki courses. I played in the summer of 2013. Wish I would have just driven further north to Harbour point!

The course looks beautiful when you arrive. When you get out and start playing it is very short and large power lines run thru the majority of the front and some of the back nine. It is a mediocre public course for the price. Greens are bumpy and slow but otherwise in good shape. Fairways are very nice as well as the rough. I'd really be aware of how short the course is in comparison to the price. It is just shy of 6000 yards and costs $66.77 for golf and cart. They also don't offer military rates. They have a military card but it's not worth the money. You pay $25 for the card then get discounted rates. That would work if it were next to base. Their membership rates are what really astounded me. It's $245 a month for unlimited play with a minimum obligation of 1 year (sounds like the gym memberships you can't get out of). Then it's an additional $145 per person per month that you want to add. Dan the "manager" said that's not too bad. It's actually pretty expensive Daniel. Take into consideration a private course where you could golf unlimited with a family and have access to tennis courts and pools. You would pay a startup fee, but depending on the size of your family the monthly dues would be much less in comparison. Especially when you consider the product you receive for the money spent. This is a public course that wants to appear private and exclusive unfortunately. Dan the manager was rude, the other young gentleman in the pro shop was not knowledgeable in the course costs at all but the young guy who meets you at the 18th green is outstanding (tip big). Dan the manager was very dismissive and also did not know if the snack shack was open on number 5. This seems like a small matter but to me I think a manager should be aware of the ins and outs of his course. If he is committed that is. All in all I would say spend your hard earned cash elsewhere. It's too expensive for such a short course and bad customer service. Don't be sucked in by the view when you first drive up.

Awesome course! Tee times are spot on and the driving range is practical.

One of my more favorite public golf courses in Washington. Lots of small ponds and slope changes throughout the course makes it super fun. The 12th hole is the hardest walk on the course as it's a severe uphill hike. My favorite hole is the 17th hole, which is an island par 3 over water, beautiful.

Rob Dowell

8/23/17. Course is very dry. Ball rolls a lot. This is more a target course then a driving course. Lots of blind shots and trees. Fairly easy to find ball though.

For the engaged couples: We just got married at Echo Falls and first off, the venue is beautiful and there are a ton of great photo spots. Overall though, our experience working with the staff at Echo Falls was challenging. The catering manager was very difficult and usually said ‘no’ to our requests until we pushed back. For example, they changed the pricing of food and alcohol after we were already under contract. They promised us a golf cart processional and then said “it depends on how many carts we have since Saturday is a busy day for golf” - I thought the people spending thousands of dollars for a wedding would get priority but we had to push back on that too. We also spoke with the GM who was helpful in fixing our issues but was very condescending to talk to. He made it seem like all of our issues were resolved (pricing for food/wine, golf cart issues, etc.) and while they were at that point, we had to push back on EVERYTHING and figure out the solutions for ourselves. I definitely wouldn’t say the customer service was top notch. That said, on the day of our wedding, the food was delish and we thankfully didn’t have any issues day-of. We chose to hire and awesome day-of coordinator (from Cake and Lace) and I think that was a great decision because again, the catering manager just wasn’t very friendly and accommodating. She was helpful on the day of our wedding but getting to that point was a serious struggle. To any couples considering this venue for their wedding, I would just caution you to get everything in writing and ensure the quotes you’re given won’t change before your wedding day. I plan events (large and small) as part of my job and I had never had a vendor change pricing or services after we were under contract. It certainly caught us off guard (and I still think it’s extremely unprofessional) so wanted to share our lessons learned.

Jesse Kim

Kind of a short track but I love this place. Definitely the best value of all the Oki courses. If you're ever trying to run 36 holes this is one of the best places to do it, 12-2 is usually open on weekends even in the middle of summer. Clubhouse staff is friendly and helpful. Grill staff has always been great and they have above average food. Pork belly was delicious and reasonably priced. Cart and food shack gals are usually attractive and nice to everyone. Not that they have to be pretty but when you're playing like crap, another friendly face helps. Studies have also shown that it helps how people perceive your business. Last two holes are tough, real tough. Decent amount of slope. Not an overwhelming amount of OB, 6 holes run parallel to each other. Good amount of water. Not as many bunkers as other, more challenging Oki courses.

Tee boxes are a disgrace. Dirt, no grass, uneven ground... Horrible Greens are bumpy, and need to be mowed. Might consider a membership, but not till the conditions change an improve.

Dane Kowalick

Fairly priced and a beautiful resort. Great for all levels of golfer, from the ones that don't know what any of the clubs mean so they just use the 7 iron the whole time too the more experienced of golfers who take 15 minutes to line up a 10 ft putt that they will still miss. The attendant I had, not to mention any names, was kinda pushy. Thanks a lot Garry. But it was otherwise the best golfing experience I could ask for.

Jon Barnes

T boxes were horrible shape greens were different from one to the next as far as speed. Fairways we're okay however apparently they don't want to clean up the grass clippings along the rough so there were a couple times I had to search for my golf ball when it was sitting underneath the grass clippings. Pretty rough shape I don't know what's happened I know that Okie sold the golf course it's obvious that these guys aren't making any money otherwise the coarse should be in better shape

Natasha Barton

Beautiful place for a wedding reception, excellent staff, but the air conditioner was broken- the staff managed to find a couple of fans and that helped save us all from heat stroke, but it made it a bit miserable. Must fix air conditioner if there's going to be parties of over 100 people.

I played golf with a friend today, taking advantage of the discounted afternoon rate. It was lightly raining, so the course was pretty wide open; we were the only group around. Needless to say, pace was great! Despite the inclement weather, the course was in great shape and was a lot of fun. The staff in the clubhouse was super accommodating as well, and allowed us to play the front 9 and pay at the turn for the back 9 (due to the weather). First time at the course, and will definitely be back.

Robin Earl

Nice golf course!

Francis

We thought at the price point for this course, it would be pretty nice. Boy were we wrong. Turns out they don't much water the fairways. Hitting shots out of the center of the fairway was like hitting a ball off the parking lot. The bunkers were rock hard as well. Greens were in decent shape. The staff was very nice, which is about the only redeeming factor. Hole 17 being the "hardest hole in Washington" is true, but only because the tee, fairway and green are in such bad shape it's almost unplayable. Save your money and go to a decent muni.

Jonathan Plona

Nice course, always in good condition even when it's wet out. Not long, but requires some accuracy.

(Jack Frei 1992) Long the standard for overpriced golf in the Puget Sound area, this course, running through old welands beneath a power line right of way, has just those intangibles that make it an unstasfying place to play."

Impressive course, fun holes, reasonable prices. I also liked the snack (beer) stand.

Keoki McCarthy

Country Club meets trailer park. Some holes look like they belong in the worst muni with crackling power lines and super short part 3 that is sometimes less than 100 yards. 17 and 18 are like a PGA tour finishing holes. I like going here even though it is so bipolar.

MotoLance

Very nice place for a party. Their bar and catering service was very good, and the clubhouse was beautiful.

Gteat course

Robin Smith-Agnew

Kevin Stangvik

The course is in good condition, but there was no regulation of pace of play. For $80 per round it is unacceptable to be backed up with a 5-10 minute wait at each hole. Our round took 5 hours and 27 minutes from tee off until walking off of the 18th green. Echo Falls management absolutely needs to regulate the pace of play, or else drop from Oki and charge $30-$40 less per round. Unacceptable.

Smartphone Report

Great course, a bit pricey on weekends. The range facility uses low flight balls so make sure you're just warming up there and not checking distances.

William Sturtevant

Felt that the course had been hard played through the winter and hadn't had time to recover for the spring/early summer when I was there. Not in good shape. And the price was higher then I thought it should be. Would and will go back. Will update at tjat time
